Thanks for working on it. Good to hear that map population reduction is a temporary fix. Queues exceed 100 on EBG for NA prime on reset already. We want to keep the game “massively multiplayer”.

Most players noticed a correlation with all the new calculations being done as a result of condition and stability changes with the latest wave of server lag. Has that been looked into?

I find myself playing less and less everyday. WvW is losing its mojo. Also not looking forward to new BLs. That might be the last straw.

Bought the game about 6 months ago? From my experience during that time, I believe every word you say. I saw a post someone made that read something like, WvW is tested by 5 Anet living story devs vs. 5 Anet concept designers. HAHA

Please stop speaking for all, just to mention.
Not to say that absolutely every PvE Mechanic should exist in WvW, but the mixture of PvE with PvE Mechancis IS exactly, what makes out of WvW the experience, that it is and that we started to learn to play with fro mthe begin on 2012 with, when there was no Edge of the Mists and nothing but just 3 Copies of Bl and Eternal Battlegrounds

The increase of whining people that keep on QQing about PvE elements in WvW just started first to massively increase with the intoduction of EotM.
All the time before EotM, no freaking butt QQed so much about the pve elements in WvW, like peopel do now since the EotM implemention …

I for myself can say on,y, I absolutely love the new desert map design so far from what I have seen, its far mroe interactive and interestingly designe,d that those boring alpine borderlands triple clones, which I hope, just return only, when Anet has given that map theme also a complete redesign first to improve the old maps with better mechanics and overall map design to make playing on them more fun, than before.

I suggest you to give the new map first a chance by playing enough time on it to make up for an opinion about it … whats is good, what is bad ect. and how the bad things could get improved (not removed)

OK, I’ll amend it to my beloved borderlands. I will also try the new maps but can’t forsee how capping 3 altar things to get the fire thing buff to get into the next thing to do a Tequatl battle in a keep will be any fun. I want to fight other players, not NPC. And arrowcarts are going to be everywhere so can’t wait to do be a maze runner while moved @-50% run speed. But I’ll give it a try. Wonder how long EBG has left. ;(

EotM is such a joke, my guild had a lazy Saturday so we went in with 16-20 players and were wiping 80+. It felt kind of dirty to do that, but the laughs over Teamspeak were genuine.

Delete T8 and T9, merge with T6 and T5.

Better. Force half of T1 and T2 into the lower tiers.

Yeah, then nobody will be able to login and find a tag or fight… Make It unfun for all haha. Seriously, why would you suggest breaking apart 3 stable servers? Not everyone enjoys seeing tumbleweeds and barren maps. I moved to T2 for action at all timezones.

PPK was fun during the test run. I wonder if a majority would support bringing it back as it was. Simple 1 pt. each kill is perfect.

Try a physical move warrior GS/Hammer. 4pts into power and the trait that reduces Cd and improves the dmg of the moves. Stomp/bulls charge/ dolyak signet. Its alot of fun. Rest of build is up to you.

Can we tag guild to specific servers period.?

I mean, it goes two ways. Some players don’t enjoy seige wars. My personal playstyle is I enjoy capping/defending objectives while seeking open-field fights.

I agree with the OP except the 50 player per side cap. That’s not massive. ANET should be upgrading their hardware to support the current player caps and end the lag.

Ppk was great. Bring it back.

When Anet does mass WvW internal testing they have 5 PvE devs face off vs 5 ppl from there concept-art team

@Sorel yes it can already be seen, when all me and my Guild does is WvW… we feared this change and its sadly bin all we feared and more.

I should have also said, this problem has started since around Feb. 12th. Just got lagged and DC out of PvP. Sorry team :/

I am also experiencing the same issue. I’ve never had lag issues except for WvW skill lag in large fights. This is different and everywhere (rubber banding, skills not hitting then all hitting at once, disconnects). It is this telia.net hop that is dropping the packets (50%) and adding about 100ms latency. Telia.net seems to be the last hop before getting to ANET.

I am on Fort Aspenwood server, located in East Coast USA. I’m hearing the same thing from alot of players. PVP, WVW, PVE- The lag is real.

Just wanted to make sure someone knows Crystal Desert is lagging really bad. Huge delay between game actions, warping, etc. Seemed to be worse in the labryinth. Other players were confirmed huge lag in map chat.

10/30/14 4:30-5pm then I had to get off, it was unplayable.
