I searched for “Preview” in the thread with the latest patch notes, and the only “Preview” it could find was the button to preview your post. Nothing about any change in the game.
Dev has said it is indeed possible that you do not get gifts from all presents out in the world.
I found the puzzle fun and easy.
No, still the same. =/
Asura ears perk up when they enter battle stance.
I don’t understand why female Charr [and I guess Asura?] can’t at least have a choice between the two.
Why can’t everyone get a choice between the two? I have seen human female NPCs with the male town clothing and such. Sure, I have not seen any male yet with a skirt, but still… If they feel like it…
Have anything about the Griffon Plush mini and where to get it from? A chest, I guess.
It is in GW1. And the Grentchs and such are probably not around because the Gods are not. No battle between Dwayna and Grenth anymore.
They have said it it up between 10 am to 10 am the next day, when it appears in the next city.
They added it in the latest patch. You can read the notes here: https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/info/news/Game-Update-Notes-December-14-2012/first#post999247
You do not have to rebind the keys, just use the second bind slot for 1-4 and 6-9.
I raged at the Bell Choir yesterday, but only because I had trouble with it myself and I have bad patience when it comes to learn new things and I fail the first few tires. Today, I placed all my fingers on the keys and tried to play it as if it was a piano and after a few more tries, I managed to win once with 490 points. It became so much easier once I learned to wait until the note enters the blue area and then press. Things seemed to slow down a bit then and I soon got a hang of it.
We were two lvl 80, doing the whole dungeon without problem.
They were probably sent to the Collectable tab in your bank together with all other crafting materials, if you used Deposit Collectable.
Or at least I hope it is a bug and not intentional!
Since the patch, we do no longer get the option to preview armor not for our profession. Please, change it back. I do not want to have to log in with different characters just to see how the armor would look like, before I choose to keep it or sell it/salvage.
If this is because people are not to get “fooled” and buy armor they can’t use, believing they can, then the red text telling them the armor is not for their profession should be message enough.
I am guessing it means you have to be at least on character lvl 2 to do the dungeon, which everyone is when they come out from the starting instance.
Coming from WoW and remembering that Children’s week event they had where you could only get 1 of the minis each year, I do not complain to much. For me, “it could have been worse.”
You can buy the skin from the Wintersday Merchant.
The “door”-icon by the map? The same that appears after any other completed instance?
Edit; ninja’d
Has anyone been crafting any of the weapons or the armor yet? I am curious to see what skins they have.
As far as I understand, he will stay until 10 am the next day, when he moves to the next city.
My only complaint is that the wait time is too long. Rest of the puzzle is great.
Or sell them on the TP. The seem to be worth around a silver each.
No Santa costume either.
The new way of seeing your completion by looking at the map seems to be glitched. For example, when hovering over Diessa, it tells me Black Citadel and when hovering over Citadel, it says Iron Marshes.
I had passion fruit in my bank tab and after clicking on them and selecting Deposit Collectable, they are simply gone. They disappeared from the bank tab (of course), but they are not in their slot in the collectable tab either. Not sure if it is a bug that makes them not show up, or if they got deleted.
I found it easy to know by changing the in-game clock to Server Time and see when it turns 10.00.
That is what I have done for all the events so far to keep track of the time.
I did the puzzle in my third try. Fell the first two times because I jumped at the wrong time, because I am not used to Charr jumping on two legs. XD
Probably because everyone is throwing themselves at the servers right now.
Not sure if it is, but I know in the beta some people managed to wall-slide down Rata Sum and landed below it. They characters got teleported to a prison cell in the city. Was kinda fun. XD
Saw screenshots from way back when someone managed to get up there. Think they just ran outside the map when trying to go through the portal.
Are you sure it was the actual player, and not mesmer clones? Because they get through the doors sometimes.
You can buy it from GW2’s webpage as well

It would be nice to see some different looking leather curiasses thrown into the medium armor section. Coats can be good looking and all, but variation is always good.
It applies only to loot dropped from mobs.
“Magic find is an attribute that increases a player’s chance to receive uncommon loot from dead foes. Magic find is applied when a foe dies; it does not apply to loot from chests or items randomly created in the Mystic Forge”

Maybe they will implement things from this list:
Revamping all of our existing dungeons (Story and Explorable versions) through rebalance and overhauled encounters.
Adding new dungeons to the Fractal of the Mists.
Adding more variation to creatures, enhancing our open world scaling system, as well as evolving many events and experiences across Tyria.
Fixing and improving existing content throughout the game, and better tying it into the overall sense of player progression within Guild Wars 2.
Building on the Southsun Cove’s persistent content.
Adding new Guild content and Guild progression features.
Continuing to evolve PvP into an E-sport as outlined here: https://www.guildwars2.com/en/news/structured-pvp-iceberg/
Adding brand new content to World vs. World as well as adding new reward progression.
Continuing to build upon the story and adventures of Guild Wars 2.

Well, you could craft them yourself by just switching out one of your other disciplines and level up Jewelery and then switch back. Or you could just buy them off the TP.
Been happening since beta.
This happened to my friend, and I laughed so much I could barely breathe. More funny was that the RPers in the area just stood there and stared at him running back and forth screaming for help, while a pack of angry chickens hunted after him.

Please, do something about it. I really like my t2 cultural armor, but it irks me immensely that why sword gets attached to my thigh instead of my hip whenever I equip that coat. It just looks so strange. x__X It is enough that most weapons are clipping through the armor as it is, I do not need it to cling to my leg as well.
Have not payed attention if any other armor does this.
Do you want a legendary? If so, then yes you should craft one. If you do not want one, well, then you should spend your efforts on something else. Simple.
It is funny that I have seen no one new cry out about they wanting the GW2 cap everyone got for free around launch of the day, or that they want the t-shirt you could get for your character if you got a code-card while visiting a convention or something. And people seem to forget that the wizard hat is the same model as the hat you got at the end of Halloween, and that you could get it for free by talking to the NPC that stood around in the middle of LA for two weeks after the event. Or any other fancy event items.
If you buy a new phone for a price, if that phone later goes on sale with some special offer, do you contact the phone company and demand that you shall get that offer as well? No. It’s like that with all the things all the time. If you want the fancy wizard hat, no one is stopping you from buying a second copy of the game.
This has probably been up here before, at least I know it has been up on Guru a few times since way back.
Make bosses less static. Be it the dragon champions, other world bosses, dungeon bosses etc. Instead of them just standing there, throwing attacks at you (or just standing there roaring while you throw your everything at them), make them move around and do different stuff. And with move around, I do not mean them having to move around over the entire zone, but around the smaller area where they spawn.
Look at this video, for example. That boss looks very interesting because it moves around and you have to stay alert to be able to dodge attacks and keep an eye on it all the time to avoid things. This is in a dungeon, but from what I have seen from other videos, they have similar bosses out in the world as well.
You right-click on their portrait, take Report and then choose Botting from the drop-down menu. Done.
I do not miss GW1, because I can log in and play it whenever I feel like it.
Same problem for everyone. Been like this since beta.
Has now happened in WvW, Claw of Jormag and in Fractals. Poking around in the game’s sound options does nothing, and sometimes even crashes the game completely.
I was just looking around at armor sets on the internet and stumbled upon that one. It was called Masquerade there too, but that’s the craftable set that looks completely different. Would really like to know what it is called now, if it is even around in PvE anymore.
