Whenever I move the music slider up from minimum, I never get any music. If I slid it up and restarts the game, I get music. However, it stops looping after a while, even though I have music interval on shortest. It was not like this at the start of the game, since I played from head-start and a few weeks in with game music constantly. I can’t remember when it started to happen, since I played a while with the music turned off and noticed first during Halloween that I no longer had any ingame music.

While you are at it, please make Sylvari females stop sounding like a barking chihuahua when they are hit. “aff aff affaffaffaff afff aff aff!”

Attended/Looted chest/No mail

I like this idea.
I had planned to make a Guardian with mainly staff and scepter. All magical mage-like, but it would not really work if she had to stomp around in heavy armor. Would be great if she her armor could look more like a robe instead.

Been like this since beta. =/ I hope they fix it soon.

Just wait a couple days, I think ANet has already stated that everyone, whether they attended or not, will get a Karka chest. They are still working on the script, and they don’t have a time frame for it at the moment, but you don’t need to open a ticket.

Where do they state that everyone will get a chest? If it is so, then those that managed to do the event and looted the chest will get rewarded twice.

Key drops from chests, or from mobs? Because if they have lowered the drop rate from mobs, that would more or less mean you get no keys at all. Since head-start, I have gotten two keys from mobs and a handful from chests.

Because Valve do not want any more MMOs on Steam. At least that what was I heard.

Sometimes when I right-click on a name in my friend list or in the chat, I am only getting “Report” as a option. Invite, whisper, send mail etc are not there. It usually fixes itself when I restart the game, but it is still very annoying. Especially when I am to invite several people and have to press P and then type in all the names instead of just right clicking on them and take Invite.

Having the problem too, where I run and interact with something without stopping, my character just keeps running forward without picking the object up and I have to dodge or press movement keys a few times for my character to snap out of it and give me the control so I can run back to the object, stop and then interact with it.

The hearts have not given karma since… Alpha? Early beta? Something like that.

I have always only been able to mine from Rich ori once, but it still gives me a bit more ori than what a normal node gives me.

9/10 Great name for what she is. Only downside is that other charr might suspect her being Flame Legion. XD

Downscale seems to work strangely sometimes. In some places, you run around one-shotting things. And in other places, you get screwed over. I started to hate Bristband Wildlands, because I always had more trouble dealing with normal mobs there, than what I have soloing veterans in Orr. Bristband hated me…

The dueling could be like in WoW; You cannot duel in the cities.
Or they could add dueling arenas inside the cities… Though one problem would be if they got swarmed with players.

One thing I miss from WoW, is the ability to create a custom chat channel. From my experience, it was mostly used by guilds allied with each other. They created their own chat channel with a password(optional) given to everyone in the guilds so they all could talk to each other.
It would be a great thing here too if you are multiple guilds working together and want to communicate in a good and easy way.

Is that something new? Because I have never gotten a message about the inbox being full at the one I am sending to. I had to tell my friend to check his mail and start deleating some messages and pop, there he had a handful of new mail sent a few days ago to him.

Having the same problem. Jump randomly does not respond.

I have heard it goes with what you hold in your main hand.

While running around with my new character, I noticed that I do not see close to as many events in the starting area now, as I did around the start of the game. Since I play mostly Charr, I can only speak about Smokestead. The events I see often is the one where you have to protect the wrecking yard. Getting cannon balls from the skritt, collecting devourer eggs and the shaman pops up ever now and then. But it does not seem like it is very often and the others seem to happen even more rarely.

Before, I was lvl 10 when I left Smokestead after completing the hearts and been doing all the events. I will list the events I have done in Smokestead alone, and most of them I rarely see and some I have not seen since the start of the game.

- Protect the armory
- Take back cannon balls from the Skritt
- Protect the Wrecking yard
— Hunt after the Flame and kill them
- Clear the lake of tar
- Kill the rampaging skale
- Kill the plated behemoth
- Kill the Flame shaman
- Deal with the Legions fighting in the bar
- Answer the Legions’ questions
— Defeat their chosen champion
- Protect the meat from the BBQ thieves
- Protect the cubs from the griffon
- Herd the cows back into their pen
- Collect devourer eggs
— Defeat the devourer queen

As I said, a lot of them I rarely see, even though I spend time running around in Smokestead after completing all the hearts. Do they happen rarely because there are so few people around compared from the start, or has their timers been changed?

Is it not supposed to have the same model and abilities, just a different colour?

Someone else might have posted this, but i actually found a fix for the bug!
It used to happen to me in basically every larger fight, and i had to shut down GW2 to fix the problem.
However, this is how i fixed the bug:

1. In the Gw2 options menu i turned down the “Sound Quality” to “Fastest”
2. I turned up the “Mixing Buffer Size” to “Most Stable”

This has fixed the problem for me, and im no longer experiencing the problem. I hope this can help some of you out there, as well as help Anet in isolating the problem!

Did not work for me. As soon as I tried to touch that slider, the game crashed completely.

It starts to get really annoying when you fight a mob and all of a sudden it goes like “Nope! Non of this. -starts regenerate health and stands around for a few seconds, ignoring everything then turns and throws self over the player-”
I wish I could do that! Turn invurnable when I was about to die from a mob and just walk away. I also wish we were able to kite the mob around and it would not reset for as long as we were attacking it. (Kiting the whale shark into Stormwind harbour anyone?) If you take half a step too far away from the mob’s spawn point, it suddenly turns around and runs back, even though you are throwing all your attacks on it.

More emotes, interact with objects, mouth moving when posting in /say. I am all for this.
If WoW had one good thing, it was the RP-part. With all the emotes, shirts you could have under your armor that looked like bandages and so on, leashes to your minis so you could be that crazy Forsaken walking around with a magical broom in a rope… And that part where the characters moved there mouth and made gestures when you posted in /say. If you ended the last sentence with a dot, it just made some casual gesture. If you ended with a question mark, it shrugged and an exclamation mark, the character would flail out his arms. All those small details that made RP so much more fun.

You do not turn invulnerable just because you go into stealth. You still have to dodge out of the AoE to avoid getting hit. If they attack in your direction when you go stealth, you have to dodge out of the way.

I have been very nice this year and only called the humans “mice” just a few times. I only gnawed on the ugly looking ones and I really forced myself to treat the vermi-… Asura kindly!
I would really like

• A ball of yarn
• My own pet skritt
• Tybalt
• That Trahearne stands in the fire (That is nice, righ? Right…? )
• Shoulder armor to fit female charr shoulders better; they are right now huge and hover in the air.
• Happy merry players all over!
• Saffron rolls and hot mulled wine
• A rebuilt statue in LA (You can give the Lion a Christmas hat too if you like)

I was creating a Charr elementalist and when I got to colour my armor, the game crashed when I clicked on “gloves” and I am guessing it is because the character starts out without gloves, so there is nothing there to dye. My friend has done the same mistake several times.

Edit: And now when I restarted the game and selected the elementalist again, the Glove option is no longer visible. Though it is there randomly sometimes.

Yep. Said on his Twitter a while ago that the music he had done now for GW2 was the last he would do for Guild Wars. Can’t remember the reason, though.

Does anyone know if Bjarl as been fixed in CoE path 1? Saw a post from a dev a month ago that he should be fixed, but newer posts after that stated that he still was bugged and the last I read was that he would be fixed in the next patch. Has that “next patch” already been, or is it something that will come soon?

All of a sudden, I noticed that other players and some NPCs don’t appear for me until I am almost on top of them, then they fade into being visible. I have all the settings on max, as I have had from the start and have always thought that other players fade from view on a too short distance, but lately it seems even shorter.
Is it like this for anyone else, or is it just my connection that is about to give up or something?

I am guessing you are looking at the first armor tab, where the skins is the same for everyone? Check the second tab where you have the specific dungeon armor.

The prices are rising because most of the bots are gone now, so the items are not being stacked in heaps on the TP for a low price. Give it some time and the price will stabilize again.

Don’t know if anyone has found something more anywhere.

It is very small, like a little stone surrounded by green smoke. It does not have a name either, so it can’t be found by holding ctrl. I found it and not long after, my friend in my party found another one. Quess we were just that lucky.
I wound mine in the water with the Ooze and he found it in that nature room.

Twilight Arbor was the closest one I could guess, yeah.

I’ve been thinking around for a long time now, and I can’t figure out what TH is short for.

Dungeons do not count, so it could be the WvW ones and a few from the Story Mode. Chantry of Secrets is usually in the mix too when some poi is missing.

The inactivity warning is RPers enemy sometimes, it seems. When we have been sitting around talking at the campfire for a while, you see people randomly starting bouncing around and shooting spells just to kill the inactivity warning that pops up. Even though we have been active with posting in the chat all the time. And sometimes after your little out-of-character jump section, you sit down and continue with the RP as if nothing happened. Sometimes you are fine, and sometimes you get kicked out anyway after a while without a second warning and with a message on your character screen that says you have been kicked out for inactivity.
Apparently you have to move your character to be accepted as active. Posting in chat does not seem to count as an activity.

No, it is how they tell different genders. Just like lion males have a huge mane and the female lions don’t. Female charr has fluffy tail and males do not.

You sure you took it out from the Pick Up tab in the TP and not just took out hings deom your transactions? Did you use “deposit collectables” after taking the Mini and it is now in the collectable tab in you bank?

You take the boat from Lion’s Arch. You’ll see a boat icon on the map.

If you compare it to that high lvl craftable ring, it is not a lot much better according to me. 2 more in base power and precision. 3% more magic find overall and those extra 18 can be compared to the exotic ring’s bonus, which is 15 (since bonuses that is normally added in other gear is built into the Ascended gear).
Or maybe I am just understanding it wrong and 2 points more in a stat is a lot.

Since late last night GMT, I could no longer view the buy and sell tab of the Trading Post. Gem Store, Exchange and Pick Up shows and works, but the other two tabs are completely blank with that loading circle spinning endlessly in the middle.
It usually fixes itself if I exit the game and runs it as admin, but not this time.

Other times, it happens that I can search for an item and is shown the list, but I cannot click on anything because that circle is spinning around in front of the list. I have to go to the front page of the Trading Post and click on the item (if it is in any of the demand/supplied lists), go to it through my Item I have Bought-tab, or by clicking Buy More from my bank.

They said they will add more things aside from the rings and backs later on. The Ascended gear is only slightly better and the main thing about it is that infusion slot, which you will only need on higher level FotM.
