You should find balance in your build. An all exclusive healer won’t do much good.
As staff ele I usually keep on fire, then if players need a little heal I swap to water, get the 2 water field out (by swapping I also apply regeneration, then I blast my arcane wave inside the water fields for extra healing). Then swap to something else until water is on cooldown. The 2nd skill is a good damage as well, waterbolt is meh. And if you get close with arcane blast you also do damage.
As bennyrosso said it, you should rotate attunements.
It can be re-edited, there is no cost.
Sorry, I misinterpreted.
The tokens are non-tradable, so I don’t think there is a workaround.
Those are gears rewarded for dedication. If you dedicate enough time and effort you get special cosmetics. That’s it. If you don’t want that, then don’t do it…
There is no such thing as extra action bar, so you can’t macro items to action buttons.
The bar is actually a skill bar, that can only contain skills.
I don’t see any reason they would add such thing as an action bar for miscellaneous actions.
Yeh a lot of AFKers get’s annoying when you’re doing dungeons or something that takes time and people decide to /follow and end up not contributing. I agree that it is used for good purposes too but I’ts not a major thing to not have. /Roll is always fun :P Just play rock, paper, scissors until something comes up
I’ve tried in game RPS, but nothing happened :S
It was fun in GW1.
There is no such thing as a /follow, most likely to prevent AFK farming by following others.
There is no /roll command either, but the later might be a possible feature in the future.
I don’t mind being slowed down if I get it.. but staying in combat stance for a long time because of a single debuff is stupid as hell(30s+ cripple, poison, whatever)..
In PvE it might be frustrating. But in PvP and WvW I would like my long conditions not to disappear from someone just because he has more speed buffs.
I’d like to know why the kitten combat slows you down if people have snares that they can use for that purpose.
Why don’t you assume the opposite?
“Why do you speed up when you’re out of combat if people have speed buffs that they can use for that purpose?”
Exactly as you said it.
Guilds work across worlds. A guild can have players from multiple homeworlds, however the influece of the guild is exclusive to the world where the players generated the influence and bought the upgrades.
So if the guild is on world A and they travel to world B every influence and upgrade remains on world A and they get a clean start on world B. If you ever get back to world A your guild influence should remain the same as you left.
It’s (b). But the server capacity was already raised a few times. So there might be more space later on.
With the current “free to transfer” situation it would be best if you created your character on another server and either wait for free slots or request your friends to transfer to a less populated world.

Yes you need to have the skills slotted in the skill bar in order to get the passive bonus.
I’ve experienced that the loot stays a little below your level. I was around lvl 30 in a lvl 4 area and still got around 25-30 lvl items.
Although I heard that this is now changed due massive farming in low level areas.
It might be that the pet you try to charm is the pet of another ranger.
Most captured pet names aren’t changed or gets reset to the initial: “Juvenile <pet name>”.
AFAIK Squad is an additional grouping method exclusive to WvW. The UI works for the party members only (generally party consist of 5 people at max).
Those who became Commanders, by the purchase of the 100 gold Commander’s Compendium are the Squad leaders. Regular players can join the squad of a commander, and by doing so they get to see the commands of the chosen commander as well as their squad chat. Squad members also get icons over their character, but besides that there is no visual feedback about them.
One of the reason for the lack of squads might be the 100 gold price you have to pay to become a commander.
No, you can not. You choose your homeworld for your account not your characters.
If you’re in the middle of a battle, taking damage, etc, I understand the slow down, but it happens even when you’re just running past a mob that you happen to agro, and nothing hits you. It’s kind of annoying.
Eh no? I’ve been running happily past mobs, all you’ve got to do is evade their attacks. If you got slowed “something” hit you. If you didn’t notice that, it was either not clear enough or maybe there’s some kind of bug somewhere somehow.
I dont think anyone want to fight when you are alone and 30 invader at your back. In Pve I dont care If I slow down, because there are only mobs. However in WvW…
Yep, so you’ve got to watch out not getting into their range in the first place, or just make sure you’re not alone. It only makes sense to me that if they’re given the opportunity to engage on you, you shouldn’t be able to run off easily.
Eh yes. Maybe it’s a bug, but it happens. Thanks though.
Have you considered that while running beside them you caused damage and thus initiated the combat? (Necro speed buff does damage nearby mobs for example.)
