You guys don’t seem to get that matchmaking always favors one team. Before the match starts, the game decides who will win or lose. You might be able to overcome it if the team that is projected to win has a bad comp.

The matchmaking person gave up I think after S1 and S2 failures.

I don’t get the point of this thread. Are we really arguing between the bad matchmaking of ranked vs the bad matchmaking of unranked? It doesn’t matter which is better.

Matchmaking in both is bad. It needs to be fixed.

Thanks to everyone talking about how OP burn builds are, I decided to try one. It is definitely fun.

A few thoughts:

1. It is way easier to apply condis than it is for someone to remove them.
2. It is insanely easy to play
3. Does higher burst than someone who is specced in zerker or maurader.
4. Being able to run rabid or carrion is really nice since I get either vit or toughness. Cele is good as well.

For those of you who haven’t tried, definitely do it. Burn guard, burn engi, burn ranger, or cele ele. All are good. It might be tough in the top end play, but for the other 98% of you, it will work well and is by far the easiest way to play PvP.

If skyhammer or spirit watch pop-up, quit the game and do something else for 15 minutes. Problem solved.

Note: Only works for people who do not care about the leaderboards or their W/L and just play to have fun.

Unfortunately, the only way to deal with those maps for now.

Good, then you’d have no problem with it getting nerfed.

People are very angry. ANET is just trying to hide the fact by infracting and deleting most posts like this.

I vote to ban anyone who rage quit from ToL.

I doubt we will see this much on guardians. Guild guardians are going more dps these days.

It is good if you are random following a pug commander though.

If all they implemented was #1, I’d be happy. Stopping the ranks at 80 is a really dumb idea. At least there is still some time. Hopefully ANET has seen the 50 threads on this topic and will adjust before the 15th.

Laugh now, and give me gold when it happens. Staff eles will be the new fotm after April 15th.
