Please consider adding the ear muff headpiece from the original Wintersday. I was anticipating seeing them this last Wintersday, but they were nowhere to be found. I would happily purchase them if they were re-released.
Thank you!
My lovely, sneaky plant.

I’m also intensely disappointed by what I heard in this interview. GW2 is a wonderful game that I’ve enjoyed for two years now, (and more if you include beta,) but SAB was my favorite content I’ve ever done in any online game. I loved every bit of it. The guild my best friends and I created and still maintain is even called Super Adventure Friends, partially in its honor.
Aside from heartbroken, I’m just confused about this unfortunate news. I don’t recall any other old content that periodically and consistently received so many forum requests to be brought back. Each time I browsed the forums, there was always a thread or two lurking about asking with hope if SAB was returning soon. It is simply odd to me that such a highly requested and sincerely beloved feature would be put on indefinite hold without access.
If new content for the SAB isn’t going to be added, why can’t we have the current worlds added back in? It’s not interfering with the living story or lore of the world, it’s hidden away in a single blue cube in a corner of Rata Sum. I don’t understand why what is already there cannot be added back in to the game at least? Why keep one of the most requested features simply inaccessible? I don’t see the logic.
I was incredibly excited to learn new traits were being added and that we had to go out into the world to acquire them via gameplay. My original imagining of it was that multiple new unique challenging events would be added which we could discover/conquer (ie a new mini jump puzzle or mini boss or timed challenge).
I hadn’t realized that we would instead be getting the skills through world boss events, which rely on timers and map layer activity/population etc. I didn’t want to run out there only to stand around for x amount of hours or have to try again during a certain time window the next day. I just went ahead and bought a couple of the skills instead.
I personally appreciate and love the new armor designs. I love how beautiful and bizarre they are, and think the blue ethereal aspect of it is pretty cool. I do wish we could dye that part, and can definitely see why others might want to, but understand that might be technically difficult. The medium armor is pretty much my favorite thing I’ve ever seen. I put it on my ranger and paired it up with the short bow, Stardust.
I’d like to ask of Anet’s artists, if I may, is there any way we could have the technical limitations of dyeing armor explained? Certain fields seem like they might be difficult to apply dyes to, and those all typically are fields which incorporate effects or glows of some kind. (The glowing green on the toxic shoulders and gloves, the glowing white of the Radiant achievement skins, as well as fire/embers glowing on armor, etc. And of course, the celestial/ethereal portions of the new Zodiac armors.) Is there a reason these can’t be tinted and dyed like other parts of armor? Sylvari glow can be adjusted and dyed, so I’m sincerely curious of the technical situation that makes dyeing these parts of armor difficult/not allowed.
Also, for the record, I’m very happy with my purchase. Please don’t take away the ethereal part of my armor. If you’d like to consider reworking it so it can be dyed (if possible) or release a second set without the ethereal parts, that’d be awesome! But please don’t take away what’s already there. I think the armors are beautiful and that the artists did an amazing job. I’m very impressed with the detail and bold and even controversial design.
Definitely any of the celestial skins.
VOICES
different battle voices would be nice, I understand the cut scene voices cant change as that’s a lot of unnecessary work but why cant you earn or buy different voices for when you are actually fighting. I hate that my two female characters have the exact same voice, I want my evil character to have an evil voice, my battle hardy warrior to sound nails, my noble guardian to use holy expressions etc.
This goes back to a suggestion I posted when the game was new, somewhat. It doesn’t specifically have to do with choosing voices, but it does with a character’s personality and vocals.
I would love to see a character’s vocalizations reflect the current personality. It felt very disconnected to me to play a woman with a “barbaric” personality, only for her to kindly say: “Thank you.” And “See you around!” or whatever when she interacted with NPCs. It was simply way too friendly to hear coming from someone whose selected responses were always aggressive or prone to threaten violence. It seems like when she interacted with an NPC, she might instead say: “Out of my way.” Or maybe a surly: “Thanks.” or even “Whatever.” after the exchange with the NPC is completed.
Dignified personalities could respond with something like: “I appreciate it.” or “This is a mutually beneficial exchange.” etc. I dunno.
Also, regarding different voices: I would love to see a pitch slider. I know this can get ridiculous, no one would be able to take a chipmunk sounding character seriously, but even if there’s a large restriction on the range we can choose from, it would allow us to keep the original voice/acting/story cut scenes while also allowing us to at least have a slightly differentiated voice.
— Role Diversification: New skills/traits, new weapons, access to inaccessible existing weapons, infusions and hybrid professions.
This.
It took a long time for me to decide which I’d like to see more, role diversification or sociopolitical. I’d honestly say they’re nearly a tie, as they’re both important to me. But above all things, I’d just really, really love to try out new skills, weapons, builds.
However, one note about sociopolitical diversification I’d really like to beg is this: If the team does contemplate adding player housing of some kind, can you please consider making it very ‘open’ like Rift’s dimensions? I’ve never had so much fun as I have just being able to build whatever I could with the tools given. As I mentioned earlier in the thread, I actually was inspired to make a (sadly very clumsy, given the jumping/movement controls) jump puzzle with my dimension because of GW2, and all I could think of since was how fun and amazing it would be to do the same in GW2.
I think if housing was added and it’s a simple thing of being given a pre-existing house where you can somewhat customize it, or add some trophies, I personally would not be terribly excited. However, I would definitely be if the housing came with more freedom and was more of a personal build kit. Is there any way to maybe implement something like that into the engine, I wonder?
Anyway, apologies for saying one topic was my most important and then ranting about another. I have a feeling Sociopolitical diversification very likely will end up as the majority top choice, and it’s also very important to me despite ultimately going with role diversification as my personal priority.
And as always, thank you so much for allowing us the opportunity to hold this conversation.
Apologies for the late reply.
My top three are:
1.) More weapons/skill customization. Weapon skills make or break a class for me. I feel like I could explore a class more and find a niche in it if I can find at least two weapons to switch between that I greatly enjoy using. Perhaps it’s only me being very picky, but I find some classes’ weapons just don’t excite me in the least. I’d love to give those classes another try, though, with a new style I’d enjoy playing, with new roles and such. I think my biggest dream right now are either short bow or longbow mesmers.
2.) Player housing/building. Similar to Rift’s housing. GW2 inspired me to make a horrible, terrible, evil jump puzzle of a home instance on that game, but sadly it gave more difficulty than joy due to limited jumping controls. GW2’s fluid controls allow for fun with jumping puzzles and with all the game’s beautiful art, details and items, I found myself longing to try my own hand at building and customizing in this world, whether it be a simple home my role playing friends can come chill at or the most wicked jump puzzle in existence.
3.) New permanent content in the form of exploratory maps/territory/races. I would love to explore more of Tyria. This is the only game that makes me excited to explore, as the entire world seems to beckon for us to unlock its secrets rather than existing as a precise connect-the-dots series of quest hubs until you hit max level and raid. I would love to see new races, new maps, new…things. Out there in the world to experience. Things that will stay around to revisit or have group events held in.

I love this thread. I haven’t had a chance to read many of the posts yet, but am looking forward to going back and doing so. In the mean time though, I had a thought come to me that I wanted to offer here. I apologize if it has already been suggested previously.
I was considering the problem of where horizontal and vertical progression meet. Since this game stresses horizontal progression in many areas, going out and finding a skin—or skins—that you love the look of and obtaining them, etc, tends to, as some have pointed out, create a clash when you’re forced into one armor set that is BiS. For example, once you apply a good skin you enjoy to ascended armor, you’re probably not going to be willing to overwrite that same armor with another skin. This is the point where vertical and horizontal meet in a negative light, and it discourages collecting and utilizing a variety of skins.
I, and many others, have wished for a wardrobe feature of some sort in this game. I also understand, however, that transmutation stones/crystals are a big source of income from the gem store and wouldn’t wish to take that away from Anet.
So the solution I had was to perhaps change the way transmutation stones function. Make them have the ability, perhaps, to “shatter” a piece of armor. Ie, you still have to purchase the armor, and you still have to purchase the stone (if the armor isn’t already merely an applicable skin such as gem store armor), then use the stone on said piece of armor, allowing its visual appearance to be torn from the base armor and thereafter applied to a wardrobe slot for use whenever the player wishes. This would still maintain transmutation stone sales, but would require they only be needed one time per armor piece, etc. Perhaps the wardrobe slots could be set up so that normal armor can’t go in them, only extracted skins (ie bought in gem store or shattered/extracted with a transmutation stone or crystal.)
Anyway, it’s just a thought, something I hoped could encourage variety, skin collection and variety with players, as well as maintaining the source of income from transmutation stones that Anet currently receives.

I want this so much. I understand some people roll races specifically for the armor. I really do understand that. In fact, I’ve done it. But to be honest, it’s not the race I’d really be playing if I could choose. I’m so in love with specific armors that I have to limit my race choice if I want to wear them.
I honestly don’t see what is wrong with adding more options. I suppose it would take away some exclusiveness, yes. I don’t see much exclusiveness to be honest though when every other character is wearing their race/class’s tier armor already anyway, etc. If I look around Divinity’s Reach, I see a million humans in cloth T3 (I myself own it.) People have argued that if we unlock the ability to wear other cultural armors, we’d have less ability to be unique. I don’t think that’s the case at all, though.
For every, say, Sylvari caster who would go out and purchase human tier 3 cloth, there’d probably be a human who would purchase Asura cultural or something. It would mix and match and simply give more options to customize your character. We already breech racial exclusivity by offering very cultural-appearing armor from dungeons, as well as allowing any race to equip another culture’s specific weapons via karma (or in some cases simple world drops or TP).
I honestly was so ridiculously giddy when I first saw the Flamekissed set on the gem store. I hadn’t yet thought about how much of a slap in the face it was being cheaper than the previous tier set or anything. (And I’d purchased human T3 myself previously.) My first thought was joy that they might actually be paving the way to either unlocking cultural for all or at least offering some variation of them for anyone to wishes to purchase them. The removal of the armor proves that this is probably never, ever, ever, ever (to the power of ten) going to happen now, though.
Oh, and PS: for the argument that it would be just plain weird for, say, a Charr to wear a Sylvari set, while it would be unusual, it might not be impossible. There is always an exception to a rule. As a roleplayer, I admire well done exceptions to what is standard. A human could have spent years among the Asura, working with one as a partner out in the field or something on a collaborative goal/project. They might swap styles or influence each other. A Norn may have adopted an abandoned Charr cub and raised them, etc. Who knows. Just as every race can be every class despite lore typically saying they might not be (ie Charr guardians, etc), people still enjoy playing those race/class combos (because options are cool!) and sometimes even find a way to make it work quite well within lore. Not to mention that if one culture is exposed to another, they may be inspired by their ways/appearance and some individuals might wish to imitate/take on that lifestyle or clothing style etc.
TL;DR No race exists in a vacuum and I’m sure various individuals would be influenced by the other races and the rich culture they possess. Tyria is a place of stories, legends, and travelers. It would make sense for these exceptional travelers (ie our player characters) to find joy in some of the new people, places, and cultures we meet along the way.

This actually makes me really sad. I loved the appearance of this armor and have always thought as some others have posted in this thread that culturally exclusive armor only limits options (especially when we can already use other cultures’ weapons, as well as culturally themed armor via dungeons).
I’m just really disappointed that the look I purchased so loved on my Sylvari is now going to be changed. (And I’m saying this as someone who bought T3 human cloth back in the day for the full gold price.)
I’m happy though that all who were upset over this are now satisfied, though. I sincerely am. It’s cool that ArenaNet listened to the concerns of the playerbase.
I’m torn about this issue, personally.
On one hand, I am one of the human scholar players who purchased the original T3. Regardless, I’m actually not personally angry about it. I can certainly understand why others are, though. My best friend who also had the T3 is, in contrast to me, steaming and embittered about it.
It certainly seems an odd move to have done, especially only making the light Flame armor a tier set and the other two just random non-cultural armor styles. I wonder if others would be more (or even less?) upset if the medium had been another culture’s medium and the heavy from yet another culture.
I’ve always been of the opinion, personally, that I wish the races of Tyria could share each other’s cultural armor. We can already visit Divinity’s Reach and Hoelbrak and such and purchase their specific cultural weapons with karma earned. Why is it different for armor? The weapons seem like they should just as much be part of the iconic races’ feel.
Though I understand people being upset about this, especially at the bizarre decision to only release one in the form of human cloth T3 and nothing else, I also hope it suggests opening up sharing between cultural armor or even more altered versions in the gem store. At least it would be fair that way; as it stands, having ONLY humans’ cultural cloth for everyone else to wear is distinctly unfair (though again I personally am not angry; rather I was guiltily thrilled to be able to give the set to my Sylvari, regardless of having purchased the good old fashioned T3 for my human Necro ages ago).
Before I was able to play the game, I’d dreamed of and planned to make a Charr elementalist as my main. That quickly changed when I saw two things, though:
The biggest reason is, and while I do understand it clashes with their society, I suppose, I would have at least liked just one or two existing options in the game to be like this: I wanted robes that were beautiful. Long and flowy, elegant. I wanted a ruthless, beasty type character who at the same time had a strange feline elegance to her as she slung spells at her enemies.
Instead, all of the armor appears like ill-fitted bath robes (or male versions of armor). There was little detail to them and they barely resembled what I imagine a mage type character to wear. Even the cultural cloth I was disappointed with, as they looked like more undetailed bath robes but at least fit the character less awkwardly.
Again, perhaps this is just a personal thing and goes against in game cultural lore, but all I wanted was at least one option that was flowing and elegant for a Charr caster (think something along the vein of the high level conjurer set with its gems and long skirt, etc). It’s the same reason why I abandoned my female Asura as my main. The cultural armor DOES look good on Asura, but that’s about it. I don’t want to be stuck wearing pants and male clothes despite being a female because of the race I chose. I like elegant and flowing clothing. It’s just a personal style choice.
Anyway, sorry for ranting! On to reason #2: The hairstyles. There’s only one I like. I don’t love it. I like it. It’s okay. All the others are mohawks, and well, as you can tell, I tend to like elegant things. I’m not saying that I expect Charr to have bleach blonde, styled supermodel hair. Oh gods no. I just wish there were longer, fuller options in general. A mane. Long dreadlocks with tiny trinkets or gears mixed in, etc.
Even if the armor wasn’t “elegant” but had longer skirts/robes/whatever, more detail (more layers, gems or gears or something integrated in) I’d reconsider. But right now they just resemble rubbery looking bath robes to me.
TL;DR – Don’t like how female Charr casters look in robes. Wish for more detailed options in clothing and hairstyles.

Hi, when I reached the checkpoint in the Pain Cliffs in the SAB right after the scale balancing puzzle, the moment I landed on the checkpoint, I was dropped through the world into a tiny box between walls. I was trapped by an invisible wall and unable to get out. Since I was playing alone, my only option was to leave the SAB and lose my progress, because I could not leave the area or die or anything.
Here are some screen shots of where I was dropped/teleported to.
At the time, I was wielding a mini bomb, but other than that, I don’t believe I was doing anything unusual.
Edit: It looks like I can walk right out, but in truth I was blocked completely by an invisible wall. In the view looking upward, you can see the scale and where the checkpoint is, straight above me. I believe I was actually inside of a wall.

This is a forum for sharing bugs with the developers. Explaining the bug instead of “no more details needed” would help to get the issue corrected faster.
Hi, I have encountered an issue with inconsistent shadowing/shading in a mixed outfit. Is there anything that can be done about this? My desired look is to have her outfit match the colors of her skin. (Which it does in the hero panel but not in the actual world.)
I am wearing: (All cloth) Sylvari tier 2 helmet, shoulders, gloves, boots and skirt (in pic 1) as well as tier 3 skirt (in pic 2). In both, I am wearing the Phoenix chest piece.
In the top picture, my dye is Shy Lilac (with Hush on gloves/boots/helm). In the second, it is universally Hush.
These pictures were taken somewhere particularly dark in atmosphere (Lornar’s Pass) but even in the bright sun of somewhere like Divinity’s Reach, this happens. It happens anywhere. The only way I can get the phoenix top to match the intended settings shown in the hero panel is to directly face the source of sunlight/general ambient lighting. Facing any other direction causes the chest to turn incredibly dark.
I have also tried this with various different dyes both light and dark, of every type of hue, and the result is still the same. Incredibly dark, shadowed top and normal/bright everything else.
That’s how stealth works. It doesn’t matter how you get stealthed either. Stealth stops your attack so that you don’t accidentally break it. Since stealth stops your attack it has to be restarted at your leisure.
Oooh, I wasn’t aware that that’s how other stealth worked as well. Thanks for the clarification!
How is the ability to loose aggro ever useless in PVE?
Cause it’s not needed at all. In open world, we can just run away from mobs, in dungeons we’re not tanking.
Stealth on longbow is pure PvP addition and I wish to disable it in PvE.
Really no one is bothered that stealth stops auto-attack?
… Are you serious, bookah? o_o
I think he or she was referring to the fact that auto-attack is completely interrupted and stopped, even after stealth has worn off. After the entirely of the stealth buff is gone, my character doesn’t go back to attacking, she just stands there doing nothing until I press auto attack (or some other skill ) again.
I understand auto-attack being ceased for the duration of the stealth, but once out of it, I wish it would resume again.
(boring part here)
Actually, that was incredibly fascinating to me. I had never thought of it like that before, but now it makes sense to me. Thanks for the educational explanation.
This is what I’d like to get eventually! I don’t have enough achievement points for the shoulders, though. One day, however…
Thank you for the comments, everyone! I just doodled out some ideas that I thought would be fun. I wish I’d had more time or I would have put more detail into them or added more. Perhaps I’ll make another set of styles when I have more time. I’m glad you enjoy them!
Also, Murke, your drawings are lovely, and the rendition of the mossy hair is amazing. I’m honored that I was able to give you inspiration!
All the new ideas and drawings posted are gorgeous as well. The Sylvari race has so many possibilities since they’re so unique and exotic. I love seeing what everyone thinks up.
There have been trends and themes, but one question makes me curious. I see a lot of folks mentioning what they’d like to see on sylvari, but that’s a different question than what they’d personally like for their own character.
Major disclaimer: no promises, no schedule, etc… But if you were daydreaming about what you personally want for your sylvari, what would it be? :} What would its presence feel like? What style? What materials?
Hi Kristen,
Please let me start by saying your artwork and designs for the Sylvari are fantastic. They are the most beautiful, inspiring race I’ve had the privilege of playing so far in an MMO.
As far as more options for my characters, I would definitely like longer hairstyles indeed. Elegant hairstyles perhaps with flowers peeking out here and there. I think a very fun idea would be to implement hair decorations (as currently none of the Sylvari styles has any that I can recall) in the form of natural pieces. For example, a headband or ponytail holder or barrette (sp?) holding up part of the long hair could be made of (color interchangeable at creation perhaps) ornately, delicately woven branches or vines, even perhaps with tiny glowing berries or gems or pearls accenting it.
Flowers could also be both small, woven in parts of a hairstyle or even a large centerpiece on the side of the head, etc. I think I just want more flowers in general! My two current Sylvari are both female. One is a guardian and has the short leafy hairstyle. It fits her perfectly. My elementalist, though, I find I’m wishing for something more elegant, delicate, long. Something exotic with branches, even perhaps done up in a mock bun of sorts, the leaves of her hair twisted up and held or supported by something, perhaps even a ‘half branch’ type head, with the bottom being branches and the top being leaves held up by it or spilling over.
I apologize if I’m being too specific now. The race is so lovely that I couldn’t help but generate my own ideas as well. TL;DR: More long hair, please!
Also, please forgive me as I was pressed for time and it’s been quite a while since I’ve drawn anything, but here are some doodles from me of female (or unisex) hairstyles I would love to see.
I found this one yesterday, too. It belongs to the Labyrinthine Cliffs Transport Facilitator (now that’s a mouthful!)
It’s rather plain by most standards but it’s one of my favorite hairstyles on men; I think it looks terribly handsome. I had hoped the game would have it as an option, but sadly it didn’t. So I freaked out when I saw it on this guy. I can only hope they eventually allow us to use it. I’ll gender change my mesmer in a heartbeat if so.
Can I ask, are you going to bring the Box back before next April fools?
I certainly hope so. All signs currently point to yes. But of course, no promises.
Does this mean that the SAB will be removed until a later date when more is added? Or will the current content stay within the game, with more eventually added on over time?
Two separate issues here, but putting them into one post. Both are in regards to female Asura.
The first is that when my (minimum height, maximum head sized) female Asura starts running (usually this happens only right after I zone into somewhere new), her head seems to suck into her body and her running animation becomes abnormal. (See picture #1)
The second issue is with female Asura models. This issue did not apply in beta, but has been around since live launch, but (and I apologize for this) I haven’t gotten around to reporting it until now. On the bottom left face choice, her left ear (her right, our left) is incorrectly positioned (on any set of ears chosen) to point behind her instead of straight out like the other ear. (See picture #2).
Also, the top left/first face choice has a similar issue, only it’s a bit more subtle. Her right ear (her left, our right) is always a bit higher than the other ear , giving an asymmetrical appearance. (See picture #3).
All of the other faces seem to have normally aligned ears.
Whoa!
My main (and only level 80 so far) is a Necro. She is and has been a MM since level one, with no regrets. It’s just the style I love and have fun with. But now these changes make me happier than a bird with a french fry.
Thank you so much for the prompt reply! I appreciate it.
The newly added hair and eye colors to the customization kits are beautiful. I read on dulfy.net that they are specifically winter themed, and given that it’s winter, it made me wonder if they won’t be available/will be replaced by a new set of available colors at a later time. Are these new exclusive colors only available for a short time or are they going to stay around permanently for selection on future characters etc? Thank you.
This quest is broken for me now as well. The first time, I was able to complete it, but half way through the ending cinematic, the game crashed, giving the message that my connection was lost, and booted me back to the character screen. I re-entered as quickly as I could but to no avail. I had to start over from the beginning and was back outside of the quest.
I tried again and wasn’t even able to make it that far the second time. I am stuck on the step: “Take Back Fort Trinity Docks”. All enemy NPCs are dead, I checked every square inch of the fort, underwater, etc to make sure this was true. There’s nothing left to kill, but nothing triggers and simply tells me to take back the docks.
Is this something I should file a ticket over or just keep trying?
Edit: One of the npcs kept flinching as though he was being hurt. His health never dropped though and try as I might, I couldn’t find any invisible or hidden enemies causing the damage. Also, for some bizarre reason, many enemies died and afterwards froze standing straight up instead of falling over like the normal death animation. I have never seen this anywhere else in game.

Race: Human
Gender: Female
Class: Necromancer
Issue/Bug: Truyere Leggings of the Citadel (Green version of cloth leggings received from heart vendor in Truyere Command Post, Fireheart Rise). The back cloth and hanging skulls stick out at an unusual angle. Not sure if this applies to other human female physical builds or races (I don’t recall ever seeing it before on other characters, but could be wrong.)
All Items Equipped
-Rampager’s Winged Headpiece of the Flock
-Carrion Conjurer Mantle of the Flame Legion
-United Arcanist Lab’s Cloth Gloves of the Rata Sum
-Truyere Leggings of the Citadel
-Wreckage Shoes of the Rata Sum
Note: The figure I selected was the bottom right in the creation screen of the first page of selections (without scrolling any further right).
I appreciate all of the hard work put into the various character voice emotes in combat and when interacting with NPCs in the world, such as merchants.
However, it seemed a bit odd to me that my Charming type character and my Barbaric type character both shared the same generic voice emotes when greeting or exiting conversation with NPCs. Both were very polite, and my notably 100% barbaric human woman was saying things such as: “My pleasure.” or “Thank you.” and such. I felt it seemed far more fitting for a kinder, more charming character.
I suppose it’s asking for a very big favor, but I think it would be interesting to have our character generic combat and NPC interaction emotes reflect a varied spectrum depending on what type of character you have. I’d feel more natural playing my barbaric type woman if she perhaps snarled more at people or was more dismissive in her emotes. Perhaps more notably ferocious in battle.
Anyway, thank you sincerely for hearing me out, and kudos to Anet for making such a wonderful game.
Hello. I am growing incredibly frustrated and would like help or clarification.
My ticket number is 121020-000049.
I, like many others here, was told my card approval failed. After contacting customer support and proving I am myself and that I have indeed verified the usage of my card, I was given a vague and enigmatic “24 hour lift on the restriction”. I had to request another response just to know what this meant. I was, like many other confused people here, not given any information as to why I had to have a lift on what appeared to be a ban of sorts on my card, nor was I given any information as to if it was permanent, if I would be able to purchase again after an amount of time, what that amount of time would be, etc. Just nothing. I was very unhappy.
A day later, I received another automatic response which included a vague explanation that this ban “usually” sorts itself out after a 24 hour period (hence my guess that the 24 hour lift is so that I can purchase until the restriction goes away. However, I was not ever informed of any of that ankittenrying to understand this through mere guesswork.)
Here is the CM’s exact response: "We have implemented new purchase limits to help prevent fraudulent credit card use. These limits restrict the number of purchases for each product per household and/or credit card used within a certain timeframe. This is a system-wide security measure. Trying to purchase past the limit on a different or new account will result in the same error.
When this happens, you can always contact us for assistance. If you do not wish to do that, you can simply wait 24 hours from the last failed attempt and try again. This particular issue in our billing system is one that usually resolves on its own after 24 hours."
Well, I decided to be extra cautious and wait about three days before trying a small $10.00 gem purchase to see if it had resolved itself as it should have. It has not. I still receive the error upon hitting ‘confirm’ that my card will not be approved and that I have to prove my identity. Please help me. Especially with the approaching Halloween event, I am afraid I will be punished and miss out on these items that are available for a limited time only. I am becoming incredibly frustrated. I love this game, but the treatment I am receiving with this has left me feeling very sad.
I apologize ahead of time because I’m at work and don’t have access to the game client, so I cannot recall the specific spell names. I wanted to add this to the list of bugs though before I forgot. I hope I can be descriptive enough to indicate clearly the intended skills.
The starter form for Necro (when you gather life and eventually build up your meter and then click the skull looking icon to change into a black, shadowy form). The second skill (again, I fail to recall its name, I’m sorry) that allows you to teleport to the chosen enemy and chill them. This skill, if used on certain enemies, especially large ones (I am thinking of the giant worm in the Norn starter area) will teleport me under the world and I will get stuck until I either move to a waypoint (or in the worm’s case, until the event is over and I am moved into the regular world.)
This very same thing happened to me. At first I thought I had somehow wildly missclicked, but after talking a bit in area chat, I discovered this had happened to other people as well. At first I was incredibly upset and wouldn’t accept the reward or advance my character either.
I won’t spoil anything, but this is not your final choice. You will get to choose your actual order later on. Thought that might help if you want to continue playing that character. I went ahead and just went on with the Priory quest myself, despite being disheartened that my character would not choose that path. I hope they can correct it in the future.
