Lol, I enjoyed the “returning to Cantha” comment. Wouldn’t that be something? :p
I’ll take this straight from our guild website: “Our main focus is to build and sustain a community of friendly, sociable, and respectful people in Guild Wars 2. Our mission is to become one of Kaineng’s most reputable and influential Guilds.”
As previously mentioned, [SN] is here to stay in Kaineng. We grew here and are fully devoted to the server. Are you sick of transferring from world after world with your other guilds? Transfer to Kaineng one last time and we’ll take you in. Are you already in Kaineng and don’t have a guild or lost the guild to a different server? Just let us know.
If this at all appeals to you, please feel free to contact any of us.

Howdy, Homura of [SN] here.
Things in WvW are as Oscuro says: certain large guilds have indeed left the server recently, though there are still many of us who still participate in WvW. Despite the lack of numbers, there are still plenty of things to do in WvW. It may seem in the short-term that you aren’t doing much and that it feels fruitless, but if everyone tries regardless, we generate more interest and more people, leading to further server improvement. The key is not to give up even at the bottom. Kaineng once was fairly high in the rankings before dropping to 24th and then fluctuating. It is possible to get there if we all just pitch in.
We at [SN] have had fairly influential commanders throughout our stay with Kaineng (We started here and we will NOT be leaving). Real life happens and sometimes these commanders will disappear for a short time. Regardless, due to our commitment to Kaineng, we are constantly striving to grow and improve our leadership structure as well as to place commanders on the field for our cause.
Whether you join KRM or [SN], we will all work with you if you are willing to help fight for the cause. Kaineng will continue to fight, whether ANet tilts it out of our favour or not!

I liked some of the changes they added to the system, but it did feel a little disjointed with only one option changeable between some of the tabs (i.e. Outfit, Mini, and Finisher).
You just compiled it all into one proof of concept and it seems great! I hope you get a mini dolyak from this suggestion! :p
Some people might find it a bit busy, but honestly, I think you separated the icons perfectly.

To whom this may concern:
I am posting on behalf of my friend and guild member in regards to an unresolved ticket that was escalated but has not been responded to yet. The information is as below.
Ticket number, (643937)
Last response from GW2 staff was made: May 27; 7 days ago
He forgot his password initially and contacted GW2 staff support in regards to resetting his password. Unfortunately, the automated emails weren’t going through and a different member of the support team escalated his case seven days ago. However, he has yet to hear back. Any news would be greatly appreciated!

I realize that it was my own fault. I was going over some of the skins with some friends of mine at the time and while I intended to get the pistol, the rifle was highlighted while scrolling. I do not recall the verification window saying “Do you want the rifle” but nonetheless, I know I should be more careful. That isn’t to say that one couldn’t have some hope of rectifying it.
Kaineng – GM[GoAT]
So I got my second skin choice today and I intended to get the pistol skin but accidentally chose the wrong one. Is there any way that we can reverse this (whether by GM or not)? I never use a rifle with any of my characters and I don’t want to be stuck with that choice for the rest of my life… :/

I still had the issue so I decided to use “-repair” on the command line for the .exe to verify the files. It seems to have worked for the past 12 hours.

If that doesn’t work and you have a custom playlist, try removing those temporarily and see if it works?

Well, if you look at the support forums, there’s a lot of crashing going on lately. If it’s related, then you may have started at the wrong time.
For example: https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/support/tech/GW2-crashing-after-Dragon-Bash-Update
Kaineng – GM[GoAT]
I’m having a similar issue since the last day of Crab Toss. At that point, any time a round ended, I’d crash. If I exited the instance after a round, I would be fine.
Right now, I’m crashing whenever any of my characters are in the Black Citadel. Right now, it has made my main and a new character completely inaccessible and it’s starting to get on my nerves. I had never had any sort of problems with Guild Wars up until this point…
Kaineng – GM[GoAT]
I’m not trying to rub it into anyone’s face or to give excuses for the devs, so I’m sorry if it seemed that way to you. If you read the last paragraph, you’d know I sympathize…
I was rather surprised at the lack of response given the number of Crab Toss Bug Reports. I sincerely hope this isn’t going to be a trend for future events.

It may have varied between players. I had issues with the achievement progress for the past week and almost gave up until I saw Rukral’s post last night. I spent about 2 hours, but I managed to finish off Crabgrabber and the carrier. I was also pleased to find a lot of the instances were working together to get Crabtacular, where previously all I saw were people trying to get their dailies.
I did, however, have an issue where after every round ended, my client would crash and I’d have to log back on and back onto another instance. I managed to get the same instance every once in awhile, but I think I may have seen every instance on my server last night. No one else seemed to have the issue though. It may have been a way in which the updates/patches/etc. were implemented on each of our ends.
But I do agree. If not retroactively rewarding the players that had actually completed the achievements, there should be a rerelease of Crab Toss for at least the amount of time that people started having issues. I’d even agree to make it a permanent fixture in the game, though storywise, you’d probably have to bring it out of Southsun with all the settlers leaving and whatnot.

To be honest, this makes me a bit less keen to do anything “Dragon Bash” related this coming week because maybe the achievements will be unattainable due to something like this.
Kaineng – GM[GoAT]
Just played five matches, hit first place once, denied a bunch of times as well as grabbed/carried. None of these counted towards any of the achievements.
Kaineng – GM[GoAT]
@Paranormal Bear: Are you still doing those runs, by any chance?
Kaineng – GM[GoAT]
Well, you could also make the argument that by putting the Crab Toss Champion as a daily, you will:
a) Reduce the “achievement value” (speaking without referring to the points you’re getting towards the leaderboard) of the title you receive
b) Reduce the chance of a more casual player of standing a chance in Crab Toss when they log in for the first time in awhile today and try in an arena full of Crab Toss Champions who never give the newbie that opportunity to grab.
c) This one is a little cheap, but also preventing the likelihood of the instanced players cooperating for the “Crabtacular” achievement.

I’d just like to point out to everyone that sicne last patch NULL has been fixed. He now porperly removes his sheild from all mine blasts AND he is no longer immune to conditions. Draging him over many converted miens is a great way to increase your dps. The posions ones work very well.
Can anyone else who has done NULL recently confirm this? Does he continue to be affected by conditions after the first shield? I don’t think I can deal with party members yelling at me for dragging them into an “impossible” dungeon again, lol.
As a mesmer, I was pretty frustrated I had to switch to a secondary character to be of any worth in the explorable dungeon. With a core of two warriors and one guardian, we were usually pretty close no matter what people we picked up off map chat, but even after saying “LF1M /DPS/ NULL”, we’d still only get condition damage volunteers. We noticed (like quite a few of you) after the third try that after the first shield, no conditions were applying despite the lack of “IMMUNE” messages as well as the shield sometimes not removing properly after mine blasts.
Eventually, the closest we got was with a thief and an elementalist four days ago where we had him in the black but didn’t finish him off. This was without realizing that tripping the mines would cause the shield to go back up (the thief was complaining about not being able to see the mines on his end). Had we known, I think it would still have been possible without a fix on the condition damage, BUT I would have much appreciated it since many PUGs get discouraged after the first try.

While I agree with you that you shouldn’t be griefed on it (I play both a Mesmer and a Ranger), I haven’t had the same issues. To be honest, if those players have a problem, then don’t let a ranger/mesmer into the party.
That said, I’m not sure this should be under the “Dynamic Events” forum.

Recently in Hoelbrak, some woman repeatedly mentioned seeing “creatures made of steam” but I don’t think I’ve noticed that before?
Kaineng – GM[GoAT]
I have to agree with some of the others; it isn’t too bad to get the dailies done when you just go about your usual paths (though the underwater one might be a bit out of the way). However, my only gripe is the healer one.
I normally try to res people whenever they’re downed; I don’t like leaving people to feel as if no one is around to help them. However, from looking at the dailies while doing so, it doesn’t appear to register unless the PC has actually been defeated rather than just downed. It makes it so that I actively have to go to an area with NPCs that die to get that daily done.

As of earlier this morning, the event is still stuck at 8/9 on the Kaineng server.
Kaineng – GM[GoAT]
For me, it’s stuck at the same portion, but instead, they don’t even start the fight. :/
Kaineng – GM[GoAT]
Nothing quite like having to answer a load of PMs after sending a Map message detailing the event…
I think that even if there were more information initially, you’d still have a bunch of people without a clue that such an event started. But you’re right, a bit more info initially would help those that check to spread the word better.
Though, it was kind of fun in and of itself to just notice some of the changes and do things from there when it started.
