I’d like your expertise on this.

How do you feel wupwup will do on Revenant?

I’m thinking of going either Full Celestial, or Celestial Armor with Zojja’s trinks/necklace/ etc and weapons.

Note: Don’t turn this into a flame session. Allow others their opinion and, if you disagree, state your views in an adultlike manner. We all share a common love for the game, no need to let perspective cause a rift.

I haven’t personally used it on any of my builds.

It seems a lot of shatter/PU builds favor it.

Is it worth investing into, or are the equally decent alternatives?

Should I just continue using damage based runes if it’s not worth it?

Air/force/leeching variants/etc.

Ah. So pure celestial is just too bi polar to handle any one job as well as others without dipping into another set to make it more of x, y, or z?

Edit: I already have ascended zerk/soldiers/clerics sets and know they all have a place. No drowning out celestial with personal bias please. I enjoy playing different gear/playstyles.

Hey everyone,

I’m considering making a celestial set to try something different for once.

Power build is fun and womps people hard, as is expected, but I’m curious just as to how much harder it hits.

My intentions are to have a versatile set I can mess with hybrid or more durable builds.

I just don’t know how much, if at all, is sacrificed for versatility.

And I play everything. Pve/PvP/wvw.

I’d likely stick with zerkers for most pve content. Such as fotm. Even 50 is pretty easy as a zerker.

This is mostly for the other two.

Help me please, is the physical damage drop worth it?

They’re mix and match, but all of the ascended chests have wupwup(celestial).

It’d save me a couple of gold, and I’d rather not take from the gold I’ve been saving for new legendaries.

If rampages happens to be a thing I can probs do a set of that from chests alone too…

Think I have an extra set of zerker amulet/trinkets/etc… But I’d need to make half a set of armor since I only have a few zerk chests.

Is revenant a conditank, or a tanky raw damage bruiser?

What are the benefits/downsides of going either berserker or rabids as a revenant?

Is celestial viable/better in any way?

I downloaded overwolf after double checking to see that it doesn’t violate any agreements, and find it to be a useful overlay.

However, for some reason it only appears in my game if Fullscreen Windowed.

Is there any way to make it work in normal Fullscreen?

I am used to playing with higher brightness than my desktop brightness allows..

I went to the neighbors and wired into their router….it worked.

came home and hit up the wifi.

2. right click on newly created shortcut -> Properties and add params like this: “C:\Games\Guild Wars 2\Guild Wars 2\Gw2.exe” -email your@email.com -password yourpassword -nopatchui
3. run from your new shortcut

Same issue here on TS3 with guild and some seem fine others have same problem. Here’s hoping we get a response to this problem soonish.

Same! Restarted client, restarted computer, check if any rogue services were running, … nothing. I do anything on the log in menu. I can’t even minimize it.

I went back to a settings backup from four days ago and that to didn’t help at all.

I tried to go to a back up as well. No differences here.

Also, shut down all other programs.

I’m not a verizon customer, so it has nothing to do with anet’s problems with vz as an isp.

Since neither -repair or reinstalling on a different user profile didn’t work, can we at least safely assume that it is Serverside and NOT client side?

Likely this has been seen a couple of times already.

We’ll see where we sit on the priority list.

Before the patch today everything was working fine. I closed the game to patch it and when it started everything ran normal. It downloaded so and so amounts of kb then it says “Initializing…” then the client disappears, but it says on my task manager that gw2.exe is still running.

Is there a solution?

We’re experiencing the same problem after the patch.

Firewall off/net rebooted/pc rebooted/administrator opened/opened from game file instead of shortcut.

I opened after the patch as well to find that it doesn’t get further than “initializing”.

The client disappears, but it is still open.
