I actually did see a couple unicorns today. I have disliked every single one of my matchups against IOJ thus far, because the quality of the “roamers” I’ve seen has been upscale-level (not saying they all are; just the ones I’ve come across) and their 20-man blobs will gladly chase solos all the way back to spawn.
BUT:
We saw the Buns today! Both of them! Normally we would have just let a 2-man squad go, especially since they ran to their buffed camp, but it was a special occasion, so I felt compelled to call for the bag-and-tag treatment.

Also, and more importantly, we had a quality ~5v~5 against some [Trbo] up between N camp and the centaurs. It was frustrating to see downed players waypointing and rejoining the fight, but it was still a lot of fun. Thank you for the good times, unicorns.

Both of my characters use builds created by me. If you ask nice, I might share. And if you’d prefer, I can bring my mesmer next time, though you should be careful wishing for that.

To clarify, I only posted because self-respecting small-man guilds should not kite to spawn unless they’re significantly outnumbered. It’s silly.

Still amazed every time I hear someone say [BS] is a good small-man guild. I’ve never had a challenge against them at even numbers. Maybe I’ve only ever found their newbies, but whatever. And then today, when 3-4* of them kited two of us back to their spawn over and over…. a little disappointing, honestly.

Karma. The ONLY RESOURCE that wvw players are able to reliably generate is karma. Let the dedicated players purchase their ranks with it, since there is literally nothing else we can use it for. (temple armor and orrian boxes? really?) Spending badges on wxp would be better than laurels, but those badges are useful for siege and new gear sets. Let us use our karma!

This will never happen, though. The ability to purchase wvw ranks (and dem guard stacks) is supposed to get those 15k-achievement-point pve carebears into wvw, not to actually help the people who care about it.

There have been three or four times this week where SBI directly prevented my group from taking a BP keep, and numerous others where they split our defenses and indirectly helped BP take ours.

Actually an alright player but he does tend to rub people the wrong way… quite a lot.

I saw him last night (which is when I remembered he’s on your server). He and two buds hit my three-man squad. We had an uplevel. His standard invis->bas venom backstab opener failed to kill me, we dropped him to half life, and he bailed so we could finish his friends at leisure. Reikou is an average player who gets carried by his class.
