This is it. They destroyed even chrono at last, i know this was going to happen (mesmer can’t be useful whatsoever) but somehow i hoped they would carefully nerf things and see how it turned out.
With alacrity halved, defensive skills gutted and even raid quickness share nerfed to the ground the situation is quite dire.
I feel so sorry for a class i used to love and for all the people still wasting their time with it.
That, or even better a new system could be “feeding” runes to the various pieces of legendary, this way any time you change stat you can select the appropriate rune from a list of any rune that has been on that armor piece. This could keep the prices of runes from falling too much.
The same system could be implemented for weapons too. Seeing the recent articles in which they aim at making the “legendary path” more complex than “farm x gold, you’re done” it would also make sense to improve legendaries a bit.
I just hope that it’s a fair rebalancing and not an outright hard nerf.
Hahaahah, Anet has a strong love for the nerf hammer, so expect that.
I honestly don’t see what’s wrong with dungeons. It’s already bad enough we’re not gonna get new dungeons with the expansion (or ever) and instead we’ll have an endlessly spammable content from their end (fractals, which aren’t gonna add anything new except multiple instabilities ._.).
If they want to diversify player experience and way to earn money then just make fractal/raids more rewarding. Leave dungeons and dungeon community alone please!
Also a table of the changes in reward would be nice so we can provide some feedback. For example i wouldn’t mind reducing the reward from AC (which is so easy you can duo/trio and still call it a speedrun) and increase, say, the reward from Aetherpath or HotW or Arah (which are longer and “more difficult”).
I agree with the OP, provided its time gets a little tweaked, like 4-5 sec max. I tried chrono in the beta and more often than not the continuum thingy get wrecked the moment you cast it. So either what the OP propose or make it immune to damage.
Honestly you should have waited before buying an extra slot. Well, enjoy your free alts!
You made a very poor decision in deleting one of your chars way beforehand. Heck ,we don’t even have a release date!
But really you shouldn’t complain on the forum, this is stuff for a support ticket. Just don’t expect to have your character restored as it was your fault to begin with.

HoT Price Feedback + Base game included [merged]
in Guild Wars 2: Heart of Thorns
Posted by: trado.2571
This is simply disgusting, like many have said it’s just a big slap on the face on existing players (but maybe i should say customers) that supported the game both playing and with micro-transactions on the gem store for these 3 years.
All this kittenstorm is not about the price, is about the DISPARITY on the offer given, not to mention those who bought the core game recently because they were told they would need it to play the expansion. And legally valid or not, that’s false advertising.
To add insult to injury they don’t seem to care about the situation and make jokes or use the standard reply: “we’re reading your feedback…” blabla. After 3 years of supporting i personally expected, and probably deserved, better.
I agree with Raif, those traits are terrible and most of them require to do silly things (backpedaling anyone?). But seeing Anet latest exploit i won’t be surprised if they kitten ele hard >.<
This sounds really fun, too bad it’s only for NA (i might transfer my other account to get into this :p). Definetly make sure to record it when you do the raid ^^
I would love to see your idea implemented as a specialisation, good job!
Ok first of all i don’t wanna make this post a rant, rather i’d like to express concern about this spec. Everyone seem to be too busy complaining about Ranger buff to notice that turret engi basically screw the game much more than a pew pew ranger does.
The problem is that, while a power ranger can be easily taken down when focused and much of his burst can be negated by simply dodging, you can’t say the same about a turret engi. They have lots of survivability (via boons and direct healing), lots of CC and soft-CC, their turret are quite hard to kill (especially against a smart engi who spreads his turrets if you try to get rid of those you’ll melt pretty quickly) and deal a huge amount of damage, especially if you’re berserker. What’s even worse is that turrets are semi-permanent and with the self repairing trait it means that one an engi has spread his turrets into a point that is really hard to take back. A medium-good turret engi requires 2 or even 3 people to kill it.
But ok, you can play around it, rotate between points and screw the engi for placing all his turrets in one place. The problem is when there are 2,3 or even 4 turret engies (this happens a lot to me in SoloQ)… that’s a death sentence. Every match i played against a team with 2 or more brain-equipped engies it was a terrible loss.
So what’s your opinion? What strategy do you use to fight against them? Are there any hard counters widely available (like using reflects for ranger)? Do you think they’re OP or fine as they are? Discuss
It’s been a while since i started lurking this forum, might as well join the community i think ^^, here my application:
