It is not ruined. There are just a lot of people who used to rely on bunker mesmers and AFK on point eles to win. Those don’t work anymore and that is a really good thing.

The issue is that there are currently only 4 viable classes in PvP. Anything else is suboptimal. So, play reaper, rev, druid or scrapper if you want to do well.

LOL. you completely ignored thief, which got the biggest buff on the most recent patch. Every class can be op except for warr and mesmer. Mesmer deserves it’s current state, it never required much skill and thus attracted the wanna be’s who pretend to be skilled. I hate every mesmer and I laugh when I see them because they deserve their current state.

Jackson, I hope you realized you have probably thrown your chances of making Acandis’ team just from your reactions here on the forums. Teams want people who won’t rage, will always be open to learning, who communicate well, and who don’t have an unbearable attitude. I do agree with your notion. The loudest are statistically the worst players. But you’re overlooking the fact that this is part of my winning strategy. The only person who could duel with absolute neutrality would be someone as loud as myself and as you pointed out, those players are usually bad. This is entirely the reason I exhibit this behavior. I want to be seen as bad. I want my opponents to assume I am a troll and foolishly accept the high stakes. That is why I am the best, you see. It 50% skill, 50% psychological preparation. You can’t eat a cold chicken, you have to insult heat into first.

I’ve gotten well over 10k kills while shirtless. During the power meta right before HoT, I couldn’t be killed, not even in 1v2.

I am the reason Druid has been nerfed twice since launch. I am the reason Sig of Energy was nerfed to uselessness. There isn’t one person who used it as effectively as I did. I’ve been reported by thousands for “hacking” and I’ve been banned from every major pvp server in my region. My ego is founded on fact. I can go into any duel server and beat everyone in there, then proceed down the list of servers without losing once.

Everyone was raving about the druids that were shredding in WvW, but no one talked about the zerg killer condi thief, Solid Snake. No one dared bring up such an embarrassment. Until there are other players who can kill over 10 opponents out of a 100+ man zerg and leave unscathed….until there is anyone kitten enough to RP walk towards two pre-nerfed trap DH’s and do the same after stomping both corpses…..until there is at least one other person who can beat anyone in the world while walking….. I, Shadow, will remain the best player.

You don’t have to believe any of these stories, because you will see it in person should you ever be unlucky enough to face me in ranked. You don’t have to give me compliments, you don’t even need to acknowledge me. It won’t matter when my Dragon comes flying out of your defeated corpse. that wouldnt surprise me. my ping prior to a week ago (when i got fibre) ranged from 200 – 6000, i’ve lost a lot fights because of it. so many spikes.

Yeah I had some serious ping issues as well so that could be the case.

Yea my build sucks on lag spikes. It takes me about 3 seconds to die. So the fact I went down in 5 is a little disappointing. It’s based around evades, dodging and really good reflexes as well as trash talking. And in all honesty, I’d last about 5 minutes in ESL. Because they probably don’t allow trash talking.

I play necromancer, quite a lot, and I cannot stand the no counterplay diamondskin. Most forms of necromancer/reaper are high condition damage and this is understood quite well by the individuals who play Tempest.

Upon entering a fight, especially the opening fight (where I have no deathshoud), I will be immideitly pushed by one or more tempests who will ignore almost everyone else and make it their mission to kill me. All I can do is cc a bit and run, run run run or I die.

ITT: player complaining about a team focus-targeting him…essentially using an intelligent strategy to eliminate their opponents in an efficient manor…..stick to pve kid. Players like you pressured Anet into babying pvp. Go shoot robots, come back when you learn to play or adapt. Learning both: preferable.

No point in being secretive. It’s already all over the place. I’ve seen it from Ruby and up in almost every game with a ranger.

if its a druid build based on glyphs, its not as good as surv druid by a longshot

It won’t be viable in tournament play because a rev can take energy sigils with two stacks of stab per dodge traits.

Aside from that scrapers can make a better decap build because they have better stab uptime, better cc, and reflects to handle longbow 4.

Your best bet is to make a build designed to kill rather than to decap as these builds are usually much harder to counter.

Any build has a counter. If it’s designed to kill then its designed to kill fast at the expense of survivability. There’s only one class with high survivability and damage and they already nerfed it once.

If Anet didnt cater PVP to coward kitten pve zergers that have no logical capacity beyond FOLLOW THAT GUY WITH THE ICON…then the meta wouldn’t even matter. You just have so many unskilled players that compete just because these builds allow them to be somewhat relevant.

I can’t complain yet because the game hasn’t gotten to the point where luck trumps skill. Despite the current meta, the more skilled opponents win. Period. If you have a problem with that, go talk to some feminists or something. Competition isn’t meant to be fair.

Yea best class period is Druid. 1v1 1v2 1v3 team play all of that. Ive been using the same build for about 20 solo matches and Ive only lost 3 times when one of my teammates left mid game. Rev sucks, necro is hilarious since the people using most of the “OP meta builds” aren’t really clever. Someone already said it: study meta battle builds and learn their counter. Thats a good way.

I’ve been ranger main since launch. And ranger has ALWAYS been the top class. So much variety and at the current moment, my druid build doesn’t die 1v2. I win them. Can’t wait for yet another druid nerf. I love wasting my money on expansions only to have my class shafted. Nerf all you want Anet, I am better than you.

Current meta ranger doesnt even use glyphs. But it is invulnerable and I don’t die in 1v3’s. But that’s more due to the fact that I am the most skilled player in the entire world. 1k wager duel for anyone that disagrees.

All the pro teams are pretty embarassing at the moment. I don’t see any sort of creativity amongst them. And honestly, having faced double revs and bunker teams before, they are pretty easy to kill if you are in fact a good player.

Today’s games were comical. I’m glad I caught the final matches live, haven’t laughed that hard in ages. Looks like unranked to me, a bunch of players claiming to be professional, yet all falling to the same tactic. I’m not sure why the grand prize is so high or why this pool of teams were chosen to be best, but so far I’m unimpressed.

This team comp you speak of isn’t even close to the most OP composition. If you’re complaining about a bunch of bunkers bunkering around…can’t wait to see your post after facing 5 power stealth druids. Even with Anet trying to break the class, Druid is by far the most OP class of them all. And at the moment, it’s the most viable 1v2 class.

So maybe you pros need to get better is all it is. Every bunker can be killed. And thats no different in a group situation.

Lol…..everyone calm down. Anet is just trying to cash in ASAP. You see that the game was often sold for 10…a FRACTION of the original cost. Why? Well simple: people are getting incredibly bored of this game. They will further realize this when their HoT profits don’t match up to their expected amount.

If you only want HoT and not the core game, wait about a month after its launch, maybe sooner. The more players who stand up to this insult, the more Anet will realize it. They are dying off as it is. Without your core gamers, you won’t last past Christmas.

There’s a suspension, and a ban.

Bans are permanent. You rarely get re-banned due to this fact.

As Michael Henninger pointed out, it seems either I was suspended again for the same incident or it just demonstrates a lack of effort on his part to actually read my reports.

Now I would agree, looking for a fair investigation given the circumstances you assume are true would be stupid. But unfortunately, for you, I am right. Its easy to jump to the side of the GMs but in this case, they simply failed to properly observe my report or tickets.
