I’m looking for a guild, haven’t played in a long while.

Seems as if something in the last patch is now causing my game to crash during screen loads. Not all the time, but very frequently. Only during load screens when I move to another location.

This is a PvP game, deal with it.

Good fights, hope the exploiting stops soon, kinda like showing you can’t play the game… so sad.

I disagree, this is a PvP/WvW game, it is NOT just a PvE game. It is focused on player battling. Did you not read the game description?

If you can’t do the fight, you don’t get the prize.

Pretty simple, learn the fight… get the chew toy… same as every other good MMO.

meh, it’s the same as all other MMOs. Gear grind. It’s not a candy coated special event… it’s MMO standard. The people trying to paint it as such have fooled themselves into thinking it’s different… when I’ve seen it done in almost every MMO.

Top gear showcased as something “different”.

I came to play this game because of WvW. But now that the gear line is forced to PvE challenges, I think I will consider another game very soon.

I really miss Shadowbane.

the social aspect is…. when you’ve killed your opponent, wave to them….

yeah, the zerg hours for each world is showing. unfortunately I can’t get my guild to play… they’re too into getting their fractal levels up to get their crack items

so far, so really good fights. a couple kittens exploiting, but mostly some really good fights. And yes, I’ll report people on my own server if you exploit.

There are a lot of problems with WvW.
There are some good things too.

But items is my biggest concern…. The item cost for standard exotics is too high. And there should be a better evaluation on character skills.

Capture rewards for targets needs token rewards…. because if only kills gets tokens, then you might as well put us in an open field with sticks.

it is a PvP game… so….. you’d think you would have to do PvP stuff maybe? Yeah…

shrug, just a power they have that doesn’t warrent a change, cause WvW doesn’t warrent a change in their minds.

who knows what will happen…. I’m a ranger and they still haven’t fixed us yet… shortbow, pets skills, condition…

actually, Blackgate needs less PvE carebear guilds.
we lost 3 oceanic guilds before the 7 day transfer took affect.
we shouldn’t be tier 1, maybe not even T2.
We have some good WvW groups, but we don’t have the numbers anymore… the
free transfers took care of that.

we have maybe 1/3 of the WvW population that the other two servers have.

Beastgate? I play on Blackgate, not some rubes nicknamed jockstrap.

To sum up:

Had fun fighting all of you.
Transfers suck and should be a paid for service.
QQr’s will keep whining, and Trollz will keep trollin’
if it moves, kill it.

I think that one of the most important things that needs to change, is the need to black out or distort the view of a dead player.

The viewing intell provided by someone who is dead, should not be allowed. It is an overused game break that helps give a scout skill to someone who died. If they die, they can’t see… blurr the screen so that there are no details.

my two cents.

Until free server transfers is gone, we’ll never have a true WvW battle. BG was holding our own til those guilds left, and now you see what it’s down too. Numbers mean everything, skill means something and server hopping kills the game.

you should all feel better now that guilds have transferred off BG again… so… enjoy

there’s nothing wrong with stacking, it’s a PvP grouping tactic, that’s all.
it’s been used in older games many years ago.
with mesmers ports it’s very effective, especially against the poor rendering flaw this game has.

character refresh really is sucking it up tonight.

yup, I’ve seen multiple groups of these… it’s pretty sad that so many bots are playing a game that has no true goal.

The mechanics of dungeons seems a bit easy. Sure creatures can one shot you, but that doesn’t make the dungeon itself a challange.

But due to the repair costs, I kinda understand that if you make something too much of a challenge, no one will do it.

So, how about something more of a challenge, and take out repair costs for that dungeon? Some of us want more difficult tasks.

Yes, Blackgate went through exactly what these other two have gone through… decent sized WvW guilds hopping servers. It’s happened 3 times to us, so please save the rude comments for Anet for allowing free transfers.

Until free transfers ends, none of this will end, it’ll just happen to another server… pretty stupid in my opinion.

Yeah, the free server transfers need to be taken out, it’s making WvW a joke.

terrain knowledge, war machine building, taking out weak members. basic strategy

carrying supplies by us is tactical, and a must to win the war.

there is nothing wrong with it as it is.

The whinin’ seems to be coming from those that don’t understand that a lot of other servers have been getting the good with the bad. Transfers in and out. Last time we faced FA we had three guilds transfer in that were night raiders, last week, they left. Last week we got rolled on. This week, we lobbied to get others to come here, and it’s working great for all of us. So, instead of the crying I see, get more people to transfer to your servers to take up the “slow” times and fix your defensive time hole.

We seem to be the jump point server. Let’s see if these newly transferred in guilds stay. If not, just seems to prove the brokeness of WvW.

Getting beaten by every other ranged class in a straight shoot out kinda makes this class the kickin’ dog.

We’re already squishy, how about some love? Changing specs doesn’t work, already tried all of them, and none allow us to match up against almost every other class… kinda lame right?

I’m on Blackgate, I agree that without the transfers, we would not have won. During the first few weeks, before the mass migration from Blackgate, we won also, but after we lost a large number of people to transfers, we dropped… we’ll see how this all works out.

I’m from Blackgate, if I see someone exploiting, I’ll report them… but that’s about all I can do.

PvP is the name of the game… do it, or find something you can cuddle with somewhere else.

unlike other MMOs, if you’re hoping for more PvE in a PvP game.... sorry, this is not the game you’re looking for.

This game is about fighting each other, it’s not about finding moose poop in a dungeon.

I’m sure they’ll add stuff down the road for your carebearkitten but it’s less than a month old, you’re elite (haha) for leveling so fast, and momma didn’t leave enough pizza money on the counter. Yeah, I’m talking down to you.

It’s a fighting game, and the pot 0’ gold for dungeon humping isn’t here... seriously... you need to find a new game.
