I am leaving DR on Saturday and want to offer my assistance, before I transfer, to any guild or person that is interested. If you want advice on siege placement, upgrading towers, or ninja tactics please let me know.

To anyone that wishes to sieze this opportunity to step forward and form a new guild or pull together the remaining guildless/small-man forces, I can try to assist with a bit of cash for a commander tag and/or a siege stash.

Really? I’m pretty sure you were the only ones. Leave it to SoCo to jump on the Tots-hating bandwagon! Keep it up!

This is the real problem with DR. Every guild hates each other and refuses to work together. Shut your mouth, put your differences aside, and play the kitten game. Teamwork is required to win and until the guilds can work together towards the same cause, then it just won’t happen. Bad blood between guilds is what brought this server down, and made it so unappealing for new players.

Nothings says go teamwork then constantly ranting on the forums and telling folks to shut their mouths.. Bad blood came from kitten poor attitudes towards others DDLG was not and will not ever be the best guild on DR or any other server out there simply because there is no guild rating system, and none of that matters past personal opinion.. Try this experiment, at all hours of the day, take a group of friends out for a ride, honk your horn constantly.. toot toot toot toot tooot tooooot toot toot .. and see how many people like you after a few weeks.

I didn’t leave DDLG. Just to clear that up. Now that we’re on a server that actually has a WvW PPT focus, the trolling has stopped. DDLG was one of the only guilds who fielded large numbers on a daily basis, fighting for DR. We were tired of seeing no consistent support (apart from the first hour or two of WvW reset) from the other large guilds on the server and it was frustrating.

400 person guild… of course you will field numbers… you are running around in circles.. seeing no support is because you guys Borged (resistance is futile) up the server and then talked down on folks or came across like it’s our way or the highway.

On an unrelated side note [TRBO]. The Charr Warrior you went up against I think was Lion of the wind, and in regards to the TRON post, DR has had great guilds but when we are over shadowed by large ones it is a lot harder to shine.

Can you please for the love of god stop being so melodramatic. This is a video game; people play it to have fun with other people, or by themselves. Literally all of your criticisms are of people who are having fun, and doing so without interfering with anyone else having fun. And then you proceed to say “bottom line have fun.” Being a hypocrite sure makes you look stupid doesnt it. Explain to me how cross server interaction, whether it be fight clubs or guild vs guild setups or even coordinating between servers to do things in WvW, hinders your enjoyment of this game. It doesn’t, and it never will, so stop being so dramatic, stop pretending to be a victim, play the video game, and have fun.

Cross Server communications is a cop out way to try to win. Talking with a third place server to knock out the 1st place is cheaty… honorless and pretty lame. Sadly it was ET that the guilds were talking to in order to knock out 1st place that lovely match up when it was done. Ultimately that sets an entire server up for failure… If it were to continue to happen we could potentially advance but not be able to play at a level of other folks simply for a “win” . Fixing games or matches does nothing to improve people’s playing ability. It is a game but it is an MMO, one or two guilds trying to decide the fate of a server based on selfish wants or needs will ruin more fun for folks then it makes… for any one server to have a power on it so great that it thinks it runs the show is a vary bad place to be.

Duels (take it to the windmill) in a previous post, I was speaking of the fights that happen in major traffic area’s…. don’t get kitten ed at me if I jump in on a fight going down at the middle of the road in ruins… want to play with other servers take it somewhere that isn’t a traffic area out of courtesy to others.. Don’t simply yell at them if they jump in.

As far as having fun, by all means have fun take it somewhere else. Not flip flopping like a politician, just saying enjoy what it is you do on another server, and get on with it already. I only have problems with certain guilds and the attitudes they have brought to Devona’s Rest. Apologies if you felt attacked by any of my posts.. but if the shoe fits wear it, if not, then leave it for the person it does.

We will need to get away from personal goals and push towards server goals.. Don’t keep taking supply from captures, if you are doing WXP or XP trains don’t just run by small groups that are being pounded on (camps aren’t gonna vanish) and keep bashing heads…

I saw one [RGTG] warrior roaming in IoJ BL earlier, gave me a good fight that I have to call in a guildie to track and kill him. Kudos to you.

Just out of the blue what is with everyone being so friendly with the other side for? Dueling in open fields, standing at spawns? talking across realms etc? 3 factions are there for a reason.. as for the folks leaving DR, was fine fighting with most of you even if we didn’t get along.. what server are you moving to? In the just in case we pair up again I want to pass along we can kill you to the rest of the folks.

For the others staying on DR.. we crawled up from the bottom before and will do it again.. can’t be friendly with folks though.. no need to use cross server communication to win (thanks for giving that kind of name to us prior to leaving DR) and keep up the fight Devonians.

In response to my previous “folks taking a break” Reset night doesn’t really show for much other then people rushing for a foothold then PvEing or breaking the rest of the week, that is usually the largest showing. If we had Q’s all week long I would agree folks aren’t taking a break from WvW. I know a lot of RGTG and SoCo are in other area’s right now, hoping after patch we will return to the numbers we previously had.

That said we are on day two so again.. here is to a good match.

A lot of folks from DR are taking a small break right now, good to know we still hold our own with less folks around then earlier in the year.

you can buy siege with badges which are free if you put the work in, and as Bursts said you get it out of the jump puzzles.

repairs are repairs.. do your best not to die and you won’t have to repair as much. (maybe add the option to badge repair so there is a “free” option)

There are bigger problems then siege cost and repair issues that kill WvW for folks.

The commander system is okay as is. I think peeps quickly decide for themselves who to follow and who to avoid.
Each commander has their own character which shows in their tactics. If you have empathy with those tactics then follow that commander. If not their is usually another commander around.
One has an obssesion with golem rushes, one is obsessed with SM, some defend, some attack.
Their are certain commanders that i will instantly follow if i see their pip on the map, a minority i try to avoid like the plague because you can be certain of daft wipes and eventually that commander blaming the zerglings following them followed by rage quit.

I am still waiting to see something I can compliment either of these servers on, but alas all I can give them props on is way to ride a break out event and leave.

There is literally nothing else for us to do this week. When you guys find yourself on the receiving end of a matchup like this, you’ll understand the situation. When your opponent has held everything long enough (about one night) to upgrade everything to max level and put waypoints everywhere, it is near impossible to make a comeback.

You have infinite supply, an untouchable map presence, and you’ve crushed the morale of the casuals who make up a majority of the servers. The only thing for us to do is run supply camps, and if we don’t do that in a very sporadic fashion your response team will typically catch up to us after about 30 minutes.

You speak as if we didn’t get pounded quite a bit before we were able to rise up. Get some Cajones.. pull some people together and push .. just think of how good of a morale boost it would be to take something that has steel walls… even if we do take it right back.

Good luck in your new tier…. We have had a great time back and forth and I hope your lack of loyalty to a server and community tear you apart in the worst way.

Not to take a stick .. but.. EB commander… wow.. Toot toot.. your horn sounds like a bull farting. If you continue to take credit for things in a public forum you are going to sound more like a commander full of arrogance vice skill.

Just to fill in the blanks, Kain/Ferg he is the one who lead the Golem zerg into SM over the weekend when a door was already open.

You do some good things Morning and I have no squabbles with AoD, but sometimes you need not take elephants over mountains.

On a note to the original poster. Keep strong, don’t cut and run just because weekday coverage is low. DR was in the same boat for about a month after our bigger guilds left. We have had some come in and other DR loyals have stepped it up.

It is a team effort any way you look at it.. Put up agreat fight this weekend.. and it will continue to be a tug of war no matter the numbers etc.

I have to say, DR in general are far from impressive. The only thing they really have over the other two servers are far greater numbers which means that during the week on primetime, they just zerg everything.
This is why on the weekends, when the numbers are more even, Kaineng and Ferg have been repeatedly coming out on top, it’s just that neither server has the players to keep that up during the week.
It is interesting to note that people on Kaineng tend to confidently engage even larger DR groups whenever we see them but treat even small Ferg groups with extreme caution
Anyway fun battles so far…Kaineng borderlands were just effectively held by a small group without losing a keep long enough for SoS to arrive on the scene and make massive forays into EB. Let’s hope we can hold them for a while but logically speaking, DR will most likely come and zerg in when SoS goes to bed again.

Numbers do not mean win every time…. i would take 10-15 people who work well together and take a keep over mindless blue tag humpers… wait.. we did that to Kain Keep yesterday….

There has been plenty of Zerging on all sides. Just because DR is bringing the stomping doesn’t mean we are always zerging.. Also on a side note, DR’s was on the very bottom a few weeks ago and we fought tooth and nail to get on top.. Just zerging and numbers isn’t going to do that.

Congrats on the influx of guilds freshly joining in on Kain because they couldn’t hack it in a higher bracket. I truly hope that you all do well but going from barely holding on to slingshot where you are isn’t really an accomplishment in my opinion.. you did have to work for it.. you guys got good transfers.
