please i really enjoy the story but i cannot stand anymore the cutscenes in metrica instance. i am trying to complete the stealthed achievement but if i fail in the end i have to watch all those long movies .

first time they are nice but they are lesser and lesser… please let us skip.

ranger were useless everywhere. now the are viable.

long bow is not that great. learn to use reflection skill and it’s a suicide move.
moreover as others said just come closer and if the player is so stupid not to use “Point blank shot”or just switch to sword + axe or sword +dagger is dead.

SAB was removed since world 2 had a crazy difficult level. people enjoyed world 1 cause it was fun to complete and not that hard.
so less people played it.
so it was moved down in priority

You can always collect second set with same stats but different runes for different occasions.

after months of trash drops and useless ring i finally drop a ascended armor chest.

i opened a ticket in game a week ago and still had no answer so i decided to ask here.

as belinda sword arrived on black lion i purchased one. i loved it so much and i’had been looking forward equipping it since i first saw in living story.

so i got one.

much easier than getting with keys.

a friend of mine knew i loved it and decided to buy it one and send as gift from black lion.

and not here is my problem :

i have skin yet so the gift is useless.

i ’ve been keeping it in mail since i received since i do not know what to do with it.

is it possible to refund the purchaser ?
or
is it possible to have gems refunded on my account ?

i mean : after all i can’t spend them but on black lion.

can i have an answer about this issue ?

actually let ppl who stay afk stay afk.

10 20 ppl who know what to do are enough to get 1200 free citizens they just have to patrol the same zone covering all the city.

I’d gladly pay 800 gems to make my Minstrel playable.

i do not want to waste and additional bag slot for another harp when i have one i my hand the whole time.

let us play it.

anyway if u compare minstrell to others legendaries it sucks.
shortbow, greatsword,sword, pistol they all have much more interesting effects. each legendaries is uniqe in its way so why a harp could not be played?

EDIT: what about letting us put minstrell + new harp + 250 bloodstone shard + 250 dragonite ore in mystic forge to give minstrell the playable effect?

even if u prefer doing this event as warrior i did sometimes with my ranger.
sword + horn /sword + axe is the proper setup for champion2

Call of the Wild Grant fury, might, and swiftness to yourself and nearby allies.
Whirling Defense Blocks projectiles while damaging nearby foes.

if u are not using these two skills for boss 2 fight you should stay outside . that’s it.

ppl hates ranger for a reason. even if i have a ranger too i do not like when ppl from party when i see them using boar + autoshot only in dungeon

i can’t express how happy i am i completed dungeon master achievement before the change in ta.

i had some problem irl during that living story events so i couldn’t complete the dungeon the first days after the patch.

the main problem with living story is that once most people completed it none is interested anymore.

just think about the krait tower : finding a Group to climb up till the top level was nearly impossibile.

ta aether path is harder than most dungeon since it’s not based on pure dps but needs complex tactic for a pug without ts and the reward do not justify the time spent to do it. so not even the dungeon sellers are doing it.

mace + focus for the first 2 shadows then i switched to greatsword and used 5 to pull 2 more shadow on a single white sigil .
the tactic is, as usual, moving around avoiding the aoe damage . when she was near i activate retaliation and used 2 from greatsword to damage her. When aoe was unavoidable i used 3 from greatsword on a shadow or, even better, on a group of shadows to destroy them all, die while doing, and immediately rally.

when health was lower than 25% i switched back to mace + focus using 2 from mace while moving. 4 and 5 from focus and using 3 from mace to damage her when she hit me.

strange tactic but it worked.

equip was a full soldier + berserk accessories

never ever more. not a single time.

i admit the fight is not luck based but still is too hard in my opinion. Achieving it did not make me feel better than before. I was just really tired.

short version :
this event is dangerous : the lower part is a mindless zerg.
the upper part is a gold + time sink for ppl who wants harder content adding fake difficulties like oneshot.

if devs keep on doing content like this…

even if liandi doen’t require luck (IF) it’s still stupid the punishing mechanic behind a failed try. There is a huge gold (or time) sink just to try one time and sometimes a single try lasts only mere seconds.

I completed both dark soul and demon sould (1000) and they are not as hard as this boss.
Maybe i’ll complete but it’s not related to me being more skilled than anyone else.

This update seems to make everyone happy.
Casual can farm downstairs, hardcore can farm upstairs.

Everyone get his drops and elitist may claim they beated liandri showing their minipet.

But is this what we wanted ?

The lower level event is actually a mindless zerg. We were so proud of gw2 being a game of huge spaces explorables and we are all closed in a 20 mq area where all we have to do is a mindless zerg among champions with enough time to sell things to the merchant who is in the middle.

WOW. Really ? Is it all here? It is but since everyone is blinded from the drops they do not realize how dangerous this could be. I’m non claiming economy is screwed up from this since it’s not. The huge amount of lodestone actually made the middle tier of weapons beetween exotic and legendary doable from quite everyone.

I pity whoever got this destroyer lodestone 2 weeks ago or whoever went on holiday and will find his bank full of things whose value is half what he left.

Anyway the problem with the lover level one is that devs could think that since we appreciated a lot this kind of event they could provide more similar one.

Mindless Korean Farming Zerg.

I don’t think so., GW2 is a game that never needed farming if not for some very elitist things. U could do yuour wvw and earn enough karma to get the same equip another guy could obtain from crafting or trading post or drop.

so in my own humble opinion the lower level event is non only stupid but dangerous.

Let’s come to the upper one.
Actually i did not complete liandi yet. At best of my luck i moved her to 20%.. maybe less.

Yes, luck. There is no skill at all involved with liandi just luck. The luck of having the perfect combination of orb spawning and circle.

But it’s how it is designed. It requires skills but even luck.

The upper level event is dangerous too. People like me, who love to achieve complex task are more interested in this kind of issue.
I completed fractal till 48 (even if i can open till 37)
I did my dungeon master
I 1000 both dark soul and demon soul.
All things which require skill. Not luck.

The upper level require both. And this is the problem.

The difficult level is faked adding a luck component which could be ok but dev could start using the same tactic for other events.

Moreover the huge amount of bugs like the camera or the floor still open , or the presence of two bosses at the same time makes it really hard to play.

Devs got lots of bad decision regarding upper level :
the skin on the floor, the queue, the randomness are problems but the dangerous one is the gold sink.

the gold needed to got tickets (oh yes u could obtain them easy farming the mindless zerg) and the distance from the ress point.

sure u could find ppl ressing you but the more ppl are there the longer the queue.
If just 2 ppl are doing an arena one can’t ress the other since it’s called inside

Should this kind of gold sink linked to hard task ? One could be a skilled one and not have lots of money or not enough time to farm the zerg too..

I do not like this event.

liandi drove me crazy and i’m really quite to leave the game since it made me nervous (i know it’s a game and all but still…)

but this is not the point.
