A change like this would punish a huge majoirty of people. A lot of servers don’t have many people during off peak hours. So when they roam they may not see a group for a very long time to fight. They still flip they still defend they work their hardest to keep the server afloat during those hours. If you would change the way the pips work participation wise then it will punish and hurt the off hour people.

I honestly don’t see that happening. Anet rewards us for our dedication in keeping characters for over a period of time instead of the account. That is why the birthday blasters and stuff we receive for the most part are soul bound. Because keeping the same toons is harder since so many prefer re rolling after growing tired of the toon and so on. I think that is why they choose to reward how long you keep the character over how long you have kept your account.

As long as you don’t put it in the tome it will way point you to the normal way point. Or that is how mine is working.

I have both genders on my account even though I am female. I actually prefer the male char over the female to me they just look better. I cant though play male norn it isnt because I am uncomfortable playing as a male. It is their god awful clown feet and distorted figure. If they made their bodies more proportional like the female norn I would be more inclined to play them.

I wonder if it has something to do with soul bound weapons and cultural skins as well. I have wanted to change my necros race for a very long time.

Aurene has a habit of randomly showing up. I noticed it I carry the portal stone that goes to her and I do not go visit her for a very long time. She will tend to send me random holographs of her and my character will make an off hand comment on needing to visit her this has happened to me twice.

I can see it as a possibility because in wvw we have a currency called proof of heroics which is very similar to what you are wanting. We get them from our skirmish chest as well as other things. They are used to by skill scrolls that help boost our characters hero points, as well as purchase siege, food and utilities. They could just make it when you succeed on doing a hero point to turn it into proof of heroics and maybe add the hero point vendor somewhere like lions arch.

I’m sorry but what do you mean the leader asked you for lvl 50 to join? I know a lot of people prefer team speak because it seems to help wvw alot better server wise. Guild wise discord is a good choice.

Lag has been happening since launch in wvw it gets so bad the game is almost unplayable. It has been turned in by countless people for many years. I honestly dont see it ever getting fixed.

I moved servers so that I could play with my friends and boyfriend. I never once felt it was a lose of morale. I understand that the punishment is put there to help detour bandwaggoning and help our servers have a teeeennnyyy tiny bit of balance. Heretic is your guilds server full that you cant transfer to it? My suggestion is your best bet is to gold farm and keep enough gold on you. That away the moment their server opens you can join them and be with your guild. If you do that then you will only have to deal with loosing out on pips just one more time. You will all so be with your guild. But please understand that there is a reason as to why anet implemented the system.

You should try the triumphant reward track in wvw. I make alot of money from it since it gives so many magic bundles. A lot of time I will actually get bolts of damask and other ascended mats for me to sell.

The problem is somone could hack your account and add their account to your safe list. Then send everything to that account take it off the list and vanish.

Puck its the work we banned in tm and replaced with murdergore if that helps clear it up. I don’t want to say it and get an infraction for an inappropriate word. But it does rhyme with tape. I do wish people would be more respectful and not say it the word is not one to take lightly and not just for females. There are men that have had it happen to them as well. As much as I hate the word I have learned to just ignore it and move on. But I still cringe thinking of the people that it has happened to being forced to read it as an off hand joke.

It was probably banned due to drug reference how ever I have seen names in game that I have no idea how they got through the filter. Two of them I have seen in the past was Auschwitz and Columbine Shooter like those should not of been able to make it through the filter.

With all the new legendary weapons, armor and trinkets the supply for the t3-t6 mats is less than the demand. We do not have designated creatures to help us farm instead. Instead we have to either gold farm or keep killing hoping the mats we need will drop. This is where my idea comes in. In our guild hall we already have herb synthesizers, vegetable, leather, lumber ore and cloth. Can we have an upgrade to add more synthesizers may be one for each tier of mats and have it randomly give us one mat of that tier? Maybe have it give an extremely rare chance of dropping an amalgamated gemstone or mystic coin. That may help bring the supply up a little with out crashing the market and will also help us a bit when it comes to farming.

Ok for each armor set you need one gift of war prosperity. To make a gift of war prosperity you need

1 gift of battle
15 mystic clovers
1 gift of condensed might
1 gift of condensed magic

You will then need to make the Gift of Prowess. To make one gift of Prowess you need

1 legendary War insight which cost 1095 skirmish tickets
1 Eldritch scroll
50 Obsidian Shards
1 cube of Stabilized dark energy

You then need war of dedication to make war of dedication you will need.

1 certificate of honor
1 glob of condensed spirit energy
1 certificate of heroics
250 Memories of battle

You also need to purchase the t2 or t3 ascended armor. This is per each piece of armor you will need.

The biggest time factor is the skirmish tickets since you need to purchase the ascended armor and then the legendary war insight. For the six legendary war insights your looking at 6570.

I am a support guardian and run full nomads. I keep getting one shot by dead eyes. I was wondering what build are they probably running to make that possible. I’m not crying for a nerf theif deserves some power love. But I would like to learn more about it to counter act it in the future.

How long will season one memory box be on the store? I reallllllly want the thought ful potion but that means I will have to farm 10 boxes probably. Anet is this item here to stay for a while or is it only for the anniversary?

I am a vet and I am all for gliding. I love that it adds so much more strategy and tatics. It makes owning things a lot more important now. Before people would usually only defend our keeps due to the waypoints. Now people will come and defend towers and camps because they don’t want to lose the gliding ability. The gliding makes it so much faster to get to contested areas. Yes there are a few flaws in it but it is a new mechanism in wvw. Nothing starts out perfect and it will be tweaked over time to be fixed if it is kept. I hope they keep it. Gliding has brought life back into wvw and has made it extremely fun.

Hello how in the world do I post a screen shot from my computer onto instagram it isn’t giving me the option? I tried to save it and load it from my phone which I was able to do but half of the tags are not showing up. Is there something I am doing wrong?

It is not a bug that is a mechanic made to help slow down people on transferring. You must be on the server for one full match up before you can earn pips again.

The moment a zerg is nearby it causes lag like crazy especially if it is a server your up against like black gate. You don’t have to be in combat to feel the lag just be near them. If they are running their zergs on mounts that lag is just going to get worse.

Guardian is not dead and is still extremely useful especially since we can heal when we empower. Only one skill was really nerfed but they made up for it by giving us so much more to make up for it. I use mine to command with all the time. Or are you referring to tagging for loot not commanding?

The lag would be awful we already have problems as it is.

Fixed a bug that was granting incorrect map-completion rewards.

That was posted in their update notes 20 hrs ago. I don’t see them allowing us to open them or use them. I could be wrong though.

I love gliding I feel it is one of the better improvements wvw has seen. It is very smooth and is amazing to help you get to places to defend quickly. It also adds an additional layer to tactics in to wvw bringing more life and fun to it. I hope this is something anet decides to keep in the game.

I feel it is a tad over priced. Here is an example for thirty dollars you can get a brand new account that gives you 5 character slots daily rewards and a instant lvl 80. For 25 dollars you just get a instant lvl 80. Yes your paying for convenience of it being on one account but I feel it should be worth around 15 dollars or so. Other than that is is a pretty nice idea.

The thing is though a lot of us may not use that elite. There should be options for us to have stability else where rather than shoving it all behind the new elite.

With all the bugs and all the nerfs to me the pro’s do not out weigh it. I love ranger and druid in fact I have 4 with my main having over 3k hrs on her. But after this update they feel pretty much unplayable especially with SoR being nerfed into the ground. Its to the point where after maining ranger for 3 years I am actually looking at other classes to possibly main. That update was a very sad day for me </3

Hello I know you get the gemstone from the daily hero chest and I know that the magic warped pouches sometimes give them. I am aware of that one track in wvw that gives one as well. Are there any other ways to acquire them besides gold farming and purchasing them off the tp?

I was curious why living story season one isnt available to purchase and play? We can do living story season two and three but not one. I know they put in the cut scene lady in lions arch to give us a summary. But is there a reason why it isnt playable? I understand lions arch was destroyed but our personal stories still contain the old lions arch. It is something that I would love to see come back on the gem store so I can purchase and experience the story that I missed I started playing shortly after it finished up. I really don’t care about the achievements or anything I would just love to do the story to witness it first hand.

It was pretty funny during the last beta my friend threw his stuff into the forge on the beta account. He got dusk out of the forge since it was on the beta account anet would not let him keep it XD.

I have witnessed this happen alot and it really isnt fair to the hearing impaired. I know there are a lot of nice guilds what will work with hearing impaired. My former guild Tyrian Misfits will not judge you if your hearing impaired and will work with you. My current guild while we do require TS if you are deaf we do not kick because of it and will try and make accommodations. I am pretty sure if you go into the guild forums and explain yourself there will be a lot of guilds that arnt elites and will be excited to have you in their guild fam.

I do it because of all the different builds you have soany options to go for. It is a pain to constantly change one characters traits and skills and to fill their inventory up oth multiple sets of armor. I have many characters. For example I have a roaming guardian, my comander guardiang, and my zerg busting one.

Why get a box anymore? As soon as you log onto any game for the first time you have to download quite a lot of updates anyway or even the vast majority of the game as the box only gives you the key. Anymore I just buy it online (already pre-purchased it:) ) and save a PDF copy of the receipt with the key on it. I do back ups of my hard drive often and this way I will always have it available just in case there is a problem and the key and info is needed for support.

People like to collect the boxes just to have a lot really don’t care that you still need to do a massive download even if you have a box. People love to purchase the box and have it out on display in their game room or in their living room. Its a collection thing I use to collect my favorite video games as well but with a lot of things going to just digital that option has gotten a lot harder.

I was actually discussing this with a guild mate. I see them turning pretty useful with this most of the fall damage traits do cause some type of damage. Can you imagine an entire zerg dropping from the sky using the fall damage traits on the other zerg? The gliding may make them have a purpose.

When hot came out people asked the same thing on gliding in wvw. Anet responded that wvw was not built for gliding because it would allow people to just glide into other peoples towers and keeps. I am sure they are not going to allow mounts because of the same reason. On top to the mounts possibly letting you into areas you dont own there is also the huge issue with lag. We are already laggy as it is we dont need more things loading in. That is what mounts will be causing lags and crashing. I hope they do not add them to wvw its bad enough its going to cause lag in crowded areas of pve.

In the future if we got better steadier servers that didnt lag then maybe. As it stands now the servers can hardly hold up to all the zergs clashing. The voice coms would just bring in more lag and disconnects.

If deathly chill isnt nerfed and dire/trailblazer stats isnt changed it’s not a balance patch. It’s the single most OP condi trait and people are abusing the most bunker/max condi damage armor stats in the game with condi builds.

Yet nothing of this is mentioned.

WvW is truly kittened for balance.

Will we ever have anything resembling balance? Will Anet ever admit that WvW is not PvE?

There are rumors in the necro world that ArenaNet is going to change the reaper tree to a more power oriented line. The DC GM trait would be a part of this change. They are just rumors of course.

Its not rumors wooden potatoes confirmed it with his post show. The expansion he got to play had a lot of the balances already in effect and he briefly went over necro.
