kitten stop comparing spvp and gvg, it aint the same thing, its like like comparing pvp and pve. you just shouldn’t do it.

spvp and gvg are a different thing, and I can surely understand why anet aims on the spvp variant, its easier for teams, its fast and it requires a more individual player skill when it comes to dodges and such, gvg has a total different requirement of skills, and ofcourse also some similar skill sets(there’s a reason why quite some strong spvp players in EU also play in GvG’s).Spvp just has more factors that are more neccesary for esports than gvg. and so obvious that a company goes for the side where they think they can get the game the most attraction and eventually money (because thats what a company wants, sure there are more things but money matters in the end).

but spvp and gvg are not the same, we shouldnt compare them, there are wvw devs(like 4?:D) and pve devs that aim to create the side for other players than pvp, and gvg would like to see some developements for their gameplay too, its not all about spvp vs gvg.

gvg’s are currently toxic to the wvw gamemode, because they do not engage in ppt. but do they have any choice? they want to fight enemies, zergs and whate vercomes their path. and not stack in OS with all the other guilds in the matchup to maybe do a few rounds in their 3 hour primetime. yes they’re toxic to the gamemode, but eventually players decide what to do in game, instead of whining to the gvg guilds you should actually support them so they get their own thing, and you can go back to your bl without the stacked Queue. the tensions have gotten to high with the namecalling and kittened trolling from all sides though.

but altough I would like to see some more support to the gvg community, gvg guilds shouldnt whine. we got obsedium sanctum and its being shared, we do our scrims in open field, and on alot of servers It can be done without rly much interferance of others. we have had multiple sites for gvg scores and places to fight, it wasnt all perfect but who cares? we can do what we want and that is to fight another guild in 20v20. or 15v15 or whatever we want.

Anet doesnt want to support it, deal with it.

the gw2 community is toxic and elitist.pvp, wvw and gvg all rage against eachother and inside their own community aswell, and the company pretty much makes big cash tournaments which are filled with 30 of the same players all the time. the only place i havnt seen much rage was in pve, but then again thats the only field of play i dont rly spend my gametime in.

Im playing thief in a GvG guild,[HoW]. I dont care for most changes (altough this stab is really hurting), we do our gvg’s with little to no interferance. And I dont care that we dont get money for it or much support(would be nice ofc though), its for fun, and in my guild we got fun and have fun fighting, once the first or the last ends im done and move on. there will always be a new game and with the perhaps small but quite dedicated community there will always stay a way to play that we enjoy, supported by the dev or community, either way aslong as its fun.

Why we heff to be mad, its only game.

Well if you dont want to be fighting with a low rank, make your own team. don’t expell them because you have been in a team with a low rank who failed, I’ve seen high ranks do the same or even worse… leaving/ragequiting.

all ranks should be allowed to do tpvp. there’s a way for you not to play with a low rank so rule 3 is a kittened rule imho.

There are two guys both got all the PVE, PVP, WVW, and GW1 achivments
They are world no.1 and no.2
Why? they shold have the same score right?
They both get all achivments , what different between them?

That why daily are the key of the AP hunter, everyone can get all the achivment some day

Great fight with XXX at the south camp. Was definitely the highlight of the night. Big props the the Gandara who were watching and not interfering all I can say to you is Respect.
I like the Gandara I see in game better than the ones on the forums, so please less crying about the tick and lets just enjoy these great fights ;)

yeah was awesome we gived our best with our 19 searched u for more but dont find,and seeked fight u too for the whole night but too pug was on u and u all are just enough to fight without them with our number.

Awesome fight indeed :) We actually wanted to battle you all the time but you guys ran and ran yards away before fighting ( eventually you guys did though :) )
I remember where you guys left us to fight gendarra, and the commander from deso attacked you from uphill. we followed but stayed out of the fight, we don’t really enjoy fighting with pugs :).

Here’s that last fight, I don’t like all the number stuff but as you can see we started with 17 in battle (and a upscaled pug) later on 2 afk’rs of us joined along and 1 pug. quite fair fight :)

I don’t usually post on the forums anymore since its full of QQ most of the time.
Just some points
- QQ about invi’s 50 man groups. yea we do raid with a tag up on certain days, and other days we run untagged, why would we only run closed raids if we can play with lots of deso’s great community.
- Thumbs up to INC, great fights I dont feel bad losing to you guys:)
- FURY, I loved the fights vs furious cookies, I’d say most fights could end up winning or losing for both sides, love such battles.
- Perish video, my first time leading a big group who listened to me
- I’m looking back some footage I shot this week, I know there are more guilds we faced who showed nice resistance, and it’s not that I didnt notice that, it’s that I just aren’t sure who we all faced besides the above named Guilds. Might post a lil vid of some of these fights aswell.
- Let’s drop the QQ, Its easy being a jerk on your computer, try not to be

Thanks SiN for the nice resistance, have to admit we had more numbers, arround 25 invi + 7 non pugs ( TLA and Unit <3),still seemed like most fights became more equal when extra forces alligned. Going trough all the footage tomorrow and post vid tomorrow evening or such

Fun times at EB this night, INVI had an open farm event so I decided to knock at baruch bay’s keep for a while. Can’t believe you guys felt for the same portal tactic twice. Farm was succesfull, lots of lootbags, as for loosing our towers, never cared much about ppt myself and progress made to silver league!

Anyway nice fights from baruch bay. Abbadon stop running that much, only fight vs you guys was at SM when the gates were closed

non combat advantage buff, sure. for all I care give them 10000% increased magic find, just no stat buff

Anyway, next to the flamewars and stuff. I’d like to say thanks to CoN doing a GvG practice with us, altough out of our league It’s always nice to do some fights(and equal numbers, about wich I see so much flames in wvw, but hey GvG is a no go because its not offical). Also a big thumbs up for ridafyt for his feedback and politeness to a guild that got beaten hard.

Also thanks to INVI and friends running wednesday evening, lots of fun and nice to be part of a bigger yet organized run.

And another thank you to wolfheart and his friend for some fun 2v2’s, was some nice action

several of your players today begged they even promised stuffs if we stayed away from you to prime time well you broke your promise you attacked sfr keep tower in your borderland when the agreement was to stay away from us and we let you upgrade your towers keeps and fight you later on when you have more numbers.

you had 40 guys online roaming around but they all rage quit because you couldn’t pick your right battles. your own fault you broke your promise and decided to threaten me because of it no more agreements will be mad for this match up your keeps towers will be fully upgraded enjoy.
