Any guilds rich enough to pay for Xfers? I’m poor as kitten but I worth my weight in gold and I’m a kitten Norn.

i am in the same boat pretty much. saving for gems but ive never been a pve’r or a money maker.

my specialty is soloing supply camps, guarding, building up towers and forts and other dirty jobs the kids are not interested in lol. I like to work towards ppt.

10-4 ty for the civil reply. I live in NE coast (eastern standard time) but don’t play NA time schedule plus I am not a guild.

AARP card holder here lol (can follow instructions, no meds or drugs, raring to go after 1st cup of coffee and sunrise walk. hahaah) . So I generally wake up and play at the crack of dawn or prior to it. Which would be early afternoon to afternoon EU time when there is no que.

But sounds like your server does not need highly experienced people, that have fought more battles against JQ and BG then anyone on your server most likely . (formerly hod/prx)

I noticed you guys do blob around quite a bit and despite i’m playing on a tablet every time i face a 1 v1 or 2 v 1, I win. Silly me i thought since this was a recruiting thread and you might need help against blackgate or jq, oryou would need seasoned people.

looking for greener pasture. willing to tranfer if there is a free bridge.

play time about 20 hours a week/ i took a 6 month break from gaming to get health in order and remodel my house some.

i play mornings (east coast) / AARP card holder. wELL ADJUSTED … no drugs,,, or meds can follow instructions.

used to play on henge and worked closely with PRX. (willing to transfer if there is gem help.) I am kitten poor.

I have 80 guard/ 80 engy/ 80 thief all in decent gear. My main and favorite is my necro though.

i would tranfer if someone wants to pay.

i don’t have the earning income to transfer. i have 5 80’s all leveled in pvp zone .

was on henge during henge ’s run. spent alot of time with PRX. I am eat coast and guildless.

Ya .. I just wanted this to be my game for the next 3 to 5 years.

I took long break after playing since beta because basically some of same stuff bothering me. I guess I will try out Elder Scrolls Online when I’t comes out (not expecting much there). All that makes me feel kinda sad.

Had same feeling when there was mass exit from Warhammer to Aion.

To be honest it should make devs or who ever is in charge sad.

but would be happy to get or have improved adjustments made to current wpvp lay out.

Sorry but my question on this … why so much wasted time on NON points area for WPVP when so many issues in what game already has in current wpvp?

when there is actually a 3 v3 battle for a tower which is very rare even on high pop servers.

spent 3 hours Saturday and Sunday mornings upgrading mendons/ anz and speldans.

Lost them to a blob in like 40 seconds or less using superior cats.

I am not normal guy to rage but It made my head hot lol.

It not the players fault we were outnumbered.

My big frustration is all that time and I got nothing for it. I might as well just run with the server karma train commander farming money and wp points.

It all turns WPVP into a big PVE joke and that gets my boxer shorts in a bunch.

3 or 4 weeks ago I watch a crummy dev twitch show displaying the new bl zone, for overflow and whatever? it will thin out the lower pop servers even more for wpvp points battles.

Overflow wHAT THE ….. overflow? really? your about a year late.

Make T3 towers 3x tougher.

Take away the ability to place cats up against Tower walls / Or make guards archers stronger on taking out siege..or make it an upgradable attribute at tower.

Ad fence or moats to towers

improve towers for better defending it is a joke right now.

8 – I’t is not worth spending time building up towers and running yaks. No reward,

7 – After spending hours of time building up towers and get nothing for your time i’t is taken over in less then 3 minutes by 2 catapults you can buy for 10 silver or less. After spending 3 gold and 3 hours to upgrade them.

6 – The WVP was better the way it was at launch. Except for the Orbs.

5 – WVP levels are a complete joke. Meaningless. Someone in ts or vent say I have 888 wpvp ranks. If someone has that many ranks it is because they PVE’d 200,000 doors.
Or something like that.

4 – Most WVP server points are gained by PVE is frustrating .

3 – SPVP disappointingly is more pure pvp then wpvp and more action packed.

2 – No Defensive fights (rarely) = No reward to Guard camps or Towers =
Meaningless WPVP ranks gained by Pve’ing doors and AI + More loot for karma trains = BORING .

1 – What does Anet do to respond to all this??? Makes another BL map that is PVE base and thins out the player base in WPVP.

Seems to be a flaw in Jq .. in general Jq cmd’s except for a handful tend to be like a scared kid shying from a bully when i comes to BG.

hey lets pick on the weaker kid instead of the bully.

Also when your getting 2v1 ‘d as a cmd don’t sit in sm leading blog around like guy did in around 12pm est. Same guy runs entire blob to RQ to check if its upgrading.. next time find some one in ts to be your eyes and ears.

Also don’t blame pugs for fail. Pugs only as good as guy leading them.

This is a huge problem in the game… but the game is all about the level 80.

I say that tongue and cheek, every game is the same bs with this topic.
Getting a dungeon with out being 80 just plain stinks, I have had the same treatment just this past week. Sorry your not 80… GOOD BYE.

Or do you have a 80? get on it. Umm no .. i’m playing this toon for a reason that i want to level it up and enjoy the content.

Lame. Also I have seen more people doing crappy things that that game allows them to do in dungeons. Makes me wonder if devs play that game even. :/

not playing blame game… when you lose it is everyone’s fault.
So stop blaming pugs for losing. I heard in voice comms and in chat people blaming pugs for various loses. Pugs are only as good as there trained to be.

Failure to re-access game plan is a huge problem. I saw same plan thrown out in EB for 7 straight days. Best job was done by a new comer named commander danger points. Lector did very well as well and so did host of others.

But the mentality of having one pin only almost the entire week in eb was laughable… and sad to me. I ’t was obvious by day 2 JQ zerg on eb was TO SMALL and to squishy to constantly go up against the bg zerg.

Yet day after day I watched same Pins do the same game plan over and over without any changes. All the commanders need a strategy meeting omho. Common sense will tell you when your losing points to try other things.

this may seem harsh but I feel the commanders where trying very hard and working with minimal support at times, sometimes working hard is not good enough you have to step back and think how can I do this differently rather then get same results over and over.

Next time consider 2 pins, hit them where the are not rather then sit and fight a zerg that you can’t beat 95% of the time.

Really wanted to win this week because I played like 10+ hours a day and was really into it. I learned alot and will continue to learn and work and support the commanders 100%.

Hat of again to Blackgate, you were a force, and also Tarnish coast at times was pretty tough congrats to tc for fighting hard at times.

Come on after a year still no fix on looting?

Most important thing to players is there LOOT. Most annoying thing in this game is lost loot to not being able to loot your bags in a zerg fight or anywhere it is impossible to get missed bags.

A year of this same bs is NOT acceptable on any standards. Spend some time fixing things that are important rather then monthly story lines.

guilds are made and success built on good management around games functions.

blaming a game on why a guild fails is , well, it just does not work. the real reason is we live in a era of ‘’everything is about me’’. But to be a good guild officer, leader, or member you have to be sharing and giving to help make others in your guild better.

This is missing in most guilds I have been in. Problem is small guilds not online enough for players that are playing the game 20+ hours a week. Offline players may be gone a few days but in hardcore gaming time a few days seem like weeks.

Players get bored and join bigger guilds, and most big guilds ignore there new people or treat them as foreigners joining a new land. Once the warm welcome of everyone in the guild chat saying welcome for 10 minutes you quickly fall to the back becoming ignored or forgotten or the new kid/adult in the corner no one picks.

So then people quit and try start new guild and the cycle starts over. I ve seen this happen countless times.

Recently I quit a guild I had been in off and on for FOUR years.

I gave tons of my free time recruiting and promoting the guild and over a 4 year period I had recruited hundred and hundreds of new members. During that time not one peice of gear was handed my way nor asked to group up for help leveling, Unless it was for something one of the main officers needed for themselves or there own personal gain.

I watched one idiot after another get promoted then proceed to power trip over good people and good honest members. So now I gave up. I just play in my own one man guild and hop on a public ts3 channel. What sucks is playing like this I miss so much the game has to offer.
Special events and dungeons rough to do alone or get groups if your not pushy or don’t have a dynamic e-personalty.

So the multi guild in game function in some ways is good because you can try out different guilds at once. It is not this function wrecking guilds . People wreck guilds.

I agree with you soma. Pve people should not have to do pvp to get gear or finish monthlys and pvpers should not have to do pve to get high quality pvp gear.

If this happens the game will suffer.

If you are in RUIN you will know that the lack of a strong RUIN presence has nothing to do with “running from a challenge”.

Ruin is tired, its officers need a rest. The WvW game is not as fun as it used to be, and saving Desolation from defeat is not Ruin’s job.

It just shows you that Deso lacks the large, strong organised guilds it needs to pull its own weight. Ruin is not Desolation; the pugs need to step up.

From battle reports it sounds like ruin only had like 10 people playing today … maybe pugs should say.. ‘’Ruin step it up’, or log out so more pugs can get in.

The problem
The key problem is transfers. They shouldn’t exist at all. We’ve had a lot of guilds jumping from server to server and the automated ranking system can’t keep up, even when it’s a one week gap between jumps.

The solution
We need transfers to be locked down for long periods (3 months, maybe more, imho).

Dungeon Group / Guild WANTED

Hello,

I have fully experienced wvw and have leveled two level 80’s from level two strictly in wpvp.

Would love to do all the level 30 dungeon content and the level 80 content.
Also willing to play any needed class.

My schedule is extremely flexible (semi retired) for a good group. I am not looking to join any expert group just good people who are dedicated to finish the dungeons.
Also i am willing to listen and learn. (I am a older player/ eq/eq2/ vanilla wow/ list to long.)

I have out grown my previous (longtime) guild in that I just don’t have anything in common with them anymore do to extreme turn over in personnel. The people I was going to work on dungeons with quit.
