Issues with the trading post: please post here [MERGED]
I had about the same problem buying potent blood, and I logged in today after a day or two trying to purchase these items, and all my gold was gone and flipped out thinking I was hacked only to realize that the trading post now had a bunch of potent blood, I just reposted all these vials, and hopefully I’ll get somewhere near back to where I was in terms in gold. Also received any error when posting these bloods, so I don’t know what’s gonna happen now.
—
Also, does anyone know how to get a refund on purchase orders? I have alot of gold stuck in limbo for several days now, and I would like to get my gold out and purchase different items.
(edited by kveldulf.8120)
tl;dr – if you placed an order on the trading post and you think it has taken your money, check the pickup tab to see if your money and/or the items are there. if it’s not there, check to see if you have an open order in the ‘items i’m buying’ section of the My Transactions tab.

Hi,
I’ve been investigating reports of money and/or items disappearing when using the Trading Post. I’m going to report my current status.
To start with – I have found no cases yet where money and/or items have actually been lost. There are however a number of issues in the current trading post UI which could lead players to think their stuff has been lost. Combined with intermittent delivery delays, this is leading to a lot of understandable confusion.
I’m going to explain a little bit about how the trading post works technically, which hopefully will help explain the context of how these problems are occurring.
The trading post runs outside of the game system. When a player tries to purchase something on the trading post, the trading post first has to withdraw the coins needed from the character’s account to ensure they have enough money for the trade. The trade then executes, and any unspent coins are returned to the player.
When you place a buy order, there’s a chance that the full quantity of items is not available. Some or all of the items may have been purchased already or cancelled. In this case, the unspent money is returned to the player.
The money is supposed to be refunded directly back to the character’s wallet, but a bug is causing the unspent money to instead be placed in the trading post pickup tab. Note: proceeds from a sell order and money from a cancelled custom buy order -are- supposed to be placed in the trading post pickup tab.
There are also some UI bugs. I’ll need to give examples:
Example 1: Player A tries to buy 3 apples from the Trading Post. 5 are currently listed. There’s a bug in the UI where if just before this player buys the apples Player B buys 4 of the apples first, then the UI will tell Player A that his purchase is successful. In reality, Player A was only able to buy 1 apple. If Player A goes to the pickup tab, he will find 1 apple and the remaining unspent money for the other 4 apples.
Example 2: Same situation as Example 1, except this time Player B buys all the apples. Player A will now get a strange ‘Network Error 1049’ popup. All of Player A’s money will have ‘disappeared’ from his wallet, but if he checks the pickup tab he will find the money there.
Example 3: This one is not exactly a bug as much as a problem with how the UI is presented. If Player A goes to a buy page for an item that has no units available, but has buy offers, it’s not obvious that there are no units available. If you don’t look carefully, the buy offers will look like sell listings. Further, the UI will have automatically switched to having you setup a custom buy order instead of a normal buy order. It will also have filled in as a default the current highest buy order’s price.
If a player thinks the item is available, and clicks ‘Buy’, they will have their money taken, and be shown a Success message. If the player checks the pickup tab, they will see neither their money nor the items, since there were no items purchased. The player would need to check the ‘Items I’m Buying’ section of the ‘My Transactions’ page to see that they had listed a custom buy order.
—
One note about sell: Those reading this probably already know this, but when you post 250 apples for sale, they will not necessarily all sell at once. So if you only get a small portion of the money you should have gotten, it’s possible that the other apples haven’t appeared. The same is true for custom buy orders.
I’m documenting these bugs so that you can hopefully better understand what’s happening when you use the trading post, and to possibly provide an explanation for some unexpected behavior. If you think you’ve lost items or money, please take a moment to consider whether your case could be explained by one or more of these bugs. We will continue to review problem reports as they come in.
I apologize for anyone affected by these issues. We’re working hard to resolve them.
(edited by Cliff Spradlin.3512)
Thanks for that.
But it seems like a lot of the remaining problems in this thread relate to players who removed items during the period several days ago when the TP wasn’t working properly. The items were successfully removed but they were never returned to the player (not in pick-up tab!).
Could we please get some kind of response to this? Even if it’s just to say that those items are gone for good – at least then we can stop wasting time chasing them up.

I’m still investigating these reports, but I don’t have any answers either way yet. One thing I can say is that more than 99% of the stuck transactions during that period are now completed.
About the “not getting all your money problem”, I can confirm that this is not a number of items problem.
I listed 2 objets for 5 silver each. I paid 25 copper each for listing if I remember correctly.
Those items sold through the night but I have only 9 silver 53 copper in the pick up tab. Where is the rest?
So I checked my items in my buying tab and it is empty, but a few seconds ago in the pick up tab came 19 copper coins and 1 copper ore,the strange thing is I havent sold anything so i don’t know from where those 19 coins came.

Hello, I just want to post here so that GM can view my problem. For the last 3-4 days, I lost my 3+ golds in the Trading post. Yesterday, some of it (around 1 gold) got to my pick up, however, the rest ( more than 2gs) is still missing. I’ve waited for a while without any good results. Please trace my records and find out the problems if you may. Thank you.
PS. Today I started trading again with putting on custom orders and I still hope that my missing money will be there whenever I turn on the trading post window.
any fix for the trading post not working at all since launch. the window is still just blank with the loading icon in the middle of the window. or better yet, is there a page or site which has up to date answers to known problems..

I listed 2 objets for 5 silver each. I paid 25 copper each for listing if I remember correctly.
Those items sold through the night but I have only 9 silver 53 copper in the pick up tab. Where is the rest?
I believe there is a listing fee, and a fee on sale but I may be wrong.
I had a guildmate tell me he was recieving items in his pickup box that he never ordered or searched for. This came with legitimate purchases he made. For example he buys a Rifle and gets the rifle along with 2 axes. He reported it, but I was wondering if maybe you are seeing completed transactions that are somehow getting getting sent incorrectly.
This was yesterday, no idea if it was solved, I am guesing his ticket still open.
Still no 4 gold from my cancelled custom buy offer from wednesday of around 4 am est as well. nothing in any of the tabs of transactions tab, nothing in pickup, etc. starting to lose hope of getting it back at all.
No no, I purchased and didn’t receive. I was very careful to avoid making a fool out of myself. I purchased, went to check and didn’t receive. My silver were indeed debited from my toon. I re-logged, hoping it was some sort of latency on my end. Still nothing. I sent an in-game ticket, because your support site takes too long long to load and when it loads it doesn’t send my ticket. I saw the twitter post about the undelivered items would be giving later after the maintenance (sep 50th), then I waited again. Still nothing. And I’m very careful with what I purchase in-game, specially because I already get bored enough of farming the mats, purchase something I don’t want or more than I need is a big no-no. So, maybe some of those people reporting actually didn’t receive the items from a purchase that listed many available products (in my case was small totems).
Not trying to make a big case out of that, specially because I spent only 40silver. Just saying that some people didn’t just buy something without paying attention and then came to complain.
I bought some materials before some days for about 1 G but until now i not get anything. My money is also lost for now. I hope i will get it back soon.
I do not fit in any of those examples… I requested 40 Bone Shards for 75c each the night of Sept 4th… I received 24 of them the morning of Sept 5th but it said in my transations that I should have received a total of 40 at 75c each. I never received my 12s back (total of the missing 16 Bone Shards) and still waiting for 16 Bone Shards. I assume now that I’m going to get zero support on this matter from what you’re telling us….
tl;dr – if you placed an order on the trading post and you think it has taken your money, check the pickup tab to see if your money and/or the items are there. if it’s not there, check to see if you have an open order in the ‘items i’m buying’ section of the My Transactions tab.
There is also a delay sometimes on things being listed in the “My Transactions” section of the Trading Post.
It has not been uncommon that the user tries to buy an item, the buy button gets greyed out, no confirmation is received, no money is removed from their inventory, nothing is listed in their “My Transactions” “Items I’m Buying” or “Items I’ve Bought” sections, and nothing is listed in their “Pickup Tab”.
This causes the user to think that the purchase has not gone through – when in fact it has, but the user interface is NOT showing ANY evidence of the purchase having been made. Not even their money has been taken at this stage.
What typically happens after this, is about 5 to 30 minutes later the money suddenly vanishes from their bag. There will STILL be nothing listed in their “My Transactions” “Items I’m Buying” or “Items I’ve Bought” sections, or their “Pickup Tab”.
12-24 hours later, the bought items finally arrive in the “Pickup Tab”, and only then begin to be visible in the “My Transactions” tabs as well. These tend to trickle in, they don’t all arrive at the same time.
If when the buy button greyed out and never seemed to complete, the user tried to purchase the item a second time, the above happens for every attempt – if the player is really lucky the item will have been sold out at the price they were buying at and they’ll get their money back in the Pickup Tab when it finally gets processed. More commonly, they end up getting multiple copies of what they tried to buy.
Later purchases on the Trading Post (by later, I mean an hour later/etc) can go through properly without any delays, despite older orders still being “stuck” in the system.
This seems to happen in spikes – the Trading Post will be working fine most of the time, then all of a sudden every single person in our guild will get hit with this transaction delay. An hour or so later, and the Trading Post will be working fine again.
The biggest problems with this are:
- Lack of feedback that the transaction has been placed at all.
- Money not being taken for the transaction until much later, causing a great deal of confusion when the player suddenly loses a large chunk of their money.
- Transaction is not listed in the “My Transactions” pages – and in fact does not become listed before it has been filled some 12-24 hours later, so it is impossible to cancel a buy order that has been affected by this.
- Delivery is delayed anything up to a full 24 hours, potentially making the item that was being bought no longer of use to the player (outlevelled it while waiting for it, got an alternative drop, etc).
Please don’t get me wrong – I love the Trading Post, and am trying to help in tracking down whatever is causing these issues. The delays are a major part of what is tripping up players so badly and the cause of a lot of these “OMG the TP stole my money” posts.
These are not old issues either – we had this happen to guild members about 40 hours ago with the last of the affected items being finally delivered about 25 hours ago (so on the patch prior to last night’s major maintenance – we don’t know yet if that maintenance fixed this).
I figured that a summary of the above symptoms could be useful, both in terms of explaining to ArenaNet what (is? was?) happening, and in terms of warning other players – if that buy button goes grey when you pressed it, assume you HAVE bought it - even if there is no indication in the TP interface and all your money is still in your inventory – the system WILL catch up to that purchase later, and you WILL end up with multiples if you try the same purchase again. And on that note – if this delay issue starts, go and do something else for an hour or so to let the TP catch back up so your next purchase doesn’t have the same issues.

All panel of the black lion tradding post are empty. When I open the windows, it first shows the animated ring for loading content, then I got a white flash on the black lion windows. And black lion is definitly empty.
why the preview option is gone?
There is also a delay sometimes on things being listed in the “My Transactions” section of the Trading Post.
Thanks for your analysis. Everything you said is spot on. Delays should not happen, but when they do the trading post should say that a transaction has been successfully queued but is not yet complete.

Sorry, preview ate my reply somehow. Here goes again.
That gave me the clue I finally needed to fix the blank Trading Post/Gem Store.
If you are on WinXP SP3 go to Control panel/Add Remove Programs and Add/Remove Components on the left side of the screen.
Click it and scroll to near the bottom and find Update Root Certificates. If it’s unchecked..CHECK it and click Ok.
Load up the game and go to Gem Store/Trading post and wait (about 10 seconds for me). This FINALLY fixed the blank bug.
Again this is for WinXP SP3, if you have Vista or Win7 I can’t help you, but it’s something worth looking into if nothing else has worked
This didn’t work.
I have XP SP3.
Also deleting the LOCAL.dat did not work.
(Blank with Loading CIRCLE since Headstart
….EDIT: After deleting the LOCAL.dat file for 3 times it finally worked the blank TP issue, also try:
If you are on WinXP SP3 go to Control panel/Add Remove Programs and Add/Remove Components on the left side of the screen.
Click it and scroll to near the bottom and find Update Root Certificates. If it’s unchecked..CHECK it and click Ok.from “wanderer”
Any idea where i can find it on win 7 64 bit, couse i’m sure it’s the problem in my case.
btw TC not working after deleting local.dat few times
OK, so it sounds like the fix wasn’t perfect. So for those of you who are having issues loading the trading post in the last couple days, DaKwL offered a good suggestion. I’ll expand it a little bit.
Note, by following these instructions you will lose at least your graphics settings and have to set them up again:
1) Close the game client
2) Delete the local.dat file located in Documents\Guild Wars 2\local.dat
3) Open the game clientHopefully this resolves your issue until we can apply a patch on the server. If you don’t feel comfortable doing this change, we’re still working on fixing it on our end.
Sorry for the trouble.
Sorry Cliff, no help there. Again for reference sake if it helps at all I’m running Vista 64 Ultimate (Service Pack 2) The user account used to run the game is an administrative account, UAC is turned off (Because itskittenannoying) and I don’t run any third party firewall software as I have a firmware firewall installed at the router here.
Could it possibly be a routing issue or does the AH use standard web routing? Is it calling its own browser code or is it piggybacking on something else my system may have installed/configured separately. I do a lot of tweaking and script disabling stuff in firefox and I never use nor update IE so if the AH has dependancies on an external browser that may have some effect.
Just throwing ideas out there to try and nail this problem for those of us suffering from blank black lion pages. I’m having friends proxy buy for the moment so its slightly less annoying but I’m looking forward to a fix so I can buy some gems and pick up that sweet free hat from the gem store. Keep at it!

However throughout the day I received platinum. I believe your money is not lost, but your orders are (invisible for you) still in the system.

On Windows Vista and above the root certs are updated totally automatically. The only thing that would prevent them from updating automatically is if your PC has Windows Update blocked, or is part of a corporate domain that sets a policy to not automatically update the root certs.
It has been a few days since my last post, and there have been patches/updates since then, however, my trading post still does not work. (I have used it once successfully since the headstart launch, but that’s it.)
I’ll paraphrase my last post:
I can’t buy items, because the “buy” button is ALWAYS greyed out.
I can’t sell items, because the screen ALWAYS stays blank. I will get the circle of loading, and the banner and search bar at the top pop up (as well as the footer) but none of my items will show up. Trying to sell from my inventory doesn’t work, either.
I can’t preview or view an item synopsis when I mouse over the icon on the trading house search page.
When trying to purchase items, I’ve also noticed that typing numbers in the box to indicate the number of items I want to purchase doesn’t work very well, either.
3 out of the 4 people who play in my house are having these issues as well, and I’d like to know if there’s any fix in sight? This is having a huge negative impact on my gameplay at this point. My bank is full, I can’t sell items I’ve crafted unless I want the vendor to pay me less than they’re worth, I can’t buy mats to increase my level in crafting, and I can’t buy new armor and weapons with the small amount of money that I have been able to make in the last 2 weeks.
Also, I have Windows XP and I’ve tried removing the local.dat file several times, to no avail.
There is also a delay sometimes on things being listed in the “My Transactions” section of the Trading Post.
Everything you said is spot on. Delays should not happen, but when they do the trading post should say that a transaction has been successfully queued but is not yet complete.
I think the most basic but working solution is to grey the buy-button out uppon clicking (maybe display an alt. text like “processing”) and turn it back on success/failure. This avoids the “click-twice” problem, because the user might be unsure if he clicked correctly
The important part here is the little detail that grey-out is done without any networking involved, it just happens regardless of connectivity and response-time to the TP, while turning-back requires an appropriate answer from the TP.

I believe there is a listing fee, and a fee on sale but I may be wrong.
The listing fee is consumed from your money instantly (when you put the item for sale), so this fee should not occur again when it is sold successfully (at least nothing in the TP lets me know, that there is a second fee). So I assume this is either a bug (double fee, whatever) or another UI-issue (like not displaying there are multiple fees, being charged at different times)
Thanks for that.
But it seems like a lot of the remaining problems in this thread relate to players who removed items during the period several days ago when the TP wasn’t working properly. The items were successfully removed but they were never returned to the player (not in pick-up tab!).

Thanks for the response! Good to hear you’re still investigating, please don’t forget about us.
For the record, I lost 3 items when I pressed remove. The 3rd item was just a cheap item (Black lion Chest) that I removed much later than the other 2 and I don’t really care about it. I specifically put it up and removed it to test if it was working properly yet. The first two were worth about 35 – 45s each though. :\

I don’t think it’s that simple – at the moment the button does stay greyed out after being clicked when hit by this delay…until the user goes to another tab to try to work out what happened. Then the button is back, and you can rebuy. If you leave the TP open, the page just stays with a greyed out button for what seems to be indefinitely (I’ve tested to 5 minutes wait with no update, and can only assume that no update was ever going to come through).
When it just doesn’t update from the grey, the user that is not familiar with the issue tries to check “is it in My Transactions?…Nope…Is it in Pickups?…Nope…I’ve still got my money…oh, it must not have gone through”. At that point, the button is no longer greyed out because they left the buy tab to try to check what had happened to the purchase. I believe that the state of the TP is not stored within the game, so by clicking on another tab to try to work out what had happened, the “this item purchase is being processed” is lost for the game client (though the server has it and is working on it, albeit slowly).
The right thing would be for the My Transactions page to be listing the purchase (and scrollable so that we could see more than the last 10 transactions), but that’s caught up in the delay issue in the first place.

Hi,
I finally found a solution for the “blank trading post” problem – I could not access it once since release – which worked for me. I am running Win7 x64 and although the root certs should be updated automatically there must have been some problem with it. What I did to fix it:
1. Download this file from the MS Update Servers
(remember the download path)
http://download.windowsupdate.com/msdownload/update/v3/static/trustedr/en/rootsupd.exe
2. Open CMD prompt in Windows, change to the folder where the file is (e.g. cd c:\temp) and enter this to run it: rootsupd.exe /Q
I tried anything else before but after this the trading post worked immediately.
Hope that helps

Nice, I’m glad that worked for you. I wonder what’s going on with automatic root cert updates on your computer.

Sorry, I did not know it actually does it. For me it didn’t, which was the reason to click it more than once ^^ But when you are true this basic solution is already implemented. (Btw. you explained very well why this solution is only basic and not as good as possible )

I canceled all my others the same day those gold went missing and it didn’t appear to have any gold in the pick up, at the same time my goods were sold and no gold was deposited either. I assume that either those orders are canceled but bugged out, or my action to cancel it got bugged. I don’t know what the money I received yesterday was for, my sales or my cancellations. In addition, I didn’t put on custom orders at ridiculous price, so if they were still available, they should’ve been finished by now.
tl;dr – if you placed an order on the trading post and you think it has taken your money, check the pickup tab to see if your money and/or the items are there. if it’s not there, check to see if you have an open order in the ‘items i’m buying’ section of the My Transactions tab.

Hi,
I’ve been investigating reports of money and/or items disappearing when using the Trading Post.
Hi,
Thanks to skagrin, I have a new solution for people who are unable to load the trading post. I’ve tested this on a Windows XP VM here to make sure it works, but haven’t done much.
The theory is that the root certs on your computers are not up to date. Follow these steps to update them:
1. Close the game client
2. Download and run http://download.windowsupdate.com/msdownload/update/v3/static/trustedr/en/rootsupd.exe
3. You’ll probably have to click ‘run’ or ‘allow’ a couple times, but after that, nothing will appear. But that’s OK, your root certs have now been updated.
4. Open the game client and try to access the trading post
If you haven’t been able to load the trading post at all, try these steps. If this works for you, I’ll ask our customer service team to write up more formal documentation on this procedure.
This is my situation…Tuesday night/Wed morning (around12 am pst) I clicked the Buy button for 3 Superior Sigils of Bloodlust at a cost of around 4.5 gold which was subtracted from my bank. I did not then nor have now since any updates recieved these items. They are not in my pickup tab and neither is the 4.5 gold. They are not listed as items Ive bought or items I’m buying. I immediately filled out the ingame bug report support ticket and then Wednesday afternoon a suport ticket through the website and have only gotten the automated email saying that my support ticket was recieved. I realize and understand that player security and account hacking takes priorty over this issue so any info that you or someone else can give would be appreciated or nothing more than to say your outta luck since these issues have supposedly been resolved
Items listed in trading post " my transaction" tab, not all items are visible, i listed more then it show in the picture, how i can see all items that i’ve listed? there is no next page

This worked for my Vista 64 ultimate installation as well! I think the root cert theory is sound as I disallow automatic windows updates by default and have a tendency to be very choosy. Thus, those certificates weren’t current and I got blank black lion pages.
Spread this one around and test on 7 as well, but the issues with 7 may also pbe people who elect to not let windows automatically update itself for bandwidth use or other reasons. I think skagrin may have nailed it here!

Hi,
I finally found a solution for the “blank trading post” problem – I could not access it once since release – which worked for me. I am running Win7 x64 and although the root certs should be updated automatically there must have been some problem with it. What I did to fix it:
1. Download this file from the MS Update Servers
(remember the download path)http://download.windowsupdate.com/msdownload/update/v3/static/trustedr/en/rootsupd.exe
2. Open CMD prompt in Windows, change to the folder where the file is (e.g. cd c:\temp) and enter this to run it: rootsupd.exe /Q
I tried anything else before but after this the trading post worked immediately.
Hope that helps

Yes! Thank you! This helped me finally on win7 64.
Firstly, thank you for the detailed post on the TP Chris, it is helpful.
I do have an issue however, where I genuinely lost almost 3 gold, due to bugs with the Trading Post and I think Arenanet ought to compensate me. I say this because, I purchased the gold via Gems I paid for with real money.
The incident occurred last Saturday 1st September. The trading post finally came online and I was happily listing orders for things. I noticed my Orders didn’t appear in my list straight away, so often had to click several times before they seemed to ‘work’. Unfortunately, what I did not realise was that every single Order was on a ‘delay’ so within an hour or so after I had finished, I noticed that oddly….all my game money had gone. It didn’t take the money each time I clicked ‘Place Order’ either, so there was no way for me to tell multiple orders had been placed. Even after the money disappeared sometime later, there were still no Orders appearing in the TP so it confused me. Like many players, I couldn’t work out what had happened.
Before I had time to work it out, I was then disconnected from the game due to Network errors in the EU, and unable to log back in for some time. I’m sure you can see all this happening on my account on the 1st of September. By the time I logged in, all the delayed orders had been filled by players. Using your very simplified example : I wanted 200 Apples, but ended up with 2,000, due to multiple delayed Order placement in the TP.
As there were no ‘health warnings’ placed on using the Trading Post on the 1st of September, I believe this is a form of mis-selling. Since I have paid real money to buy game money from Arenanet, which has been taken from me due to no fault of my own, you are in fact required to correct the error or refund my real money under the Sale of Goods Act.
I have raised a ticket about the issue, however haven’t even been dignified with a response from support. I’d be grateful for your good guidance here please, else I will need to take measures to obtain my refund in another way (i.e. by reversing charges).
In the meantime, I have tried to sell as much of the excess materials I ended up with, in order to reduce the deficit caused by this error. Unfortunately, I have not been able to break even against the original 3 gold lost, however I have reduced it to an amount of 1 gold. It’s not the amount of game money that bothers me here though, rather it is the principle of the matter. You cannot claim no fault here and I would like a clear answer as to how you intend to put this right.
Regards
Bunny

I am using Windows 7 64x and it is fully updated. Yet the above solutions have NOT worked for me.
Last week i had access to the Gem Store and Currency exchange. But for the last 2-3 all the tabs have remained empty.
I have tryed deleting the local.dat file multiple times and i have also tryed the fix skagrin suggested. Dos anyone have any other idea’s?
EDIT: Problem has been fixed solution for my problem presented by Komatik!!

My discovery
I tried this and deleting the local.dat file,
checked if my windows has auto update on, cleared my dns cache, i also checked my router should it block the TP and gemstore ip (since its browser based).
The whole time i was searching what was blocking the TP so i turned off my firewall, logged back in to the game and Gemstore/ TP where visible again but ofc this wasent the way i would like to play.
So I tried to recreate the problem by turning my firewall back on and as i susspected its a firewall issue atleast for me.
The solution
As most lurking this thread for a possible solution i would suggest turning off your firewall and see if it fixes anything if so and your using AVG security try this.
However i dont know how to fix this for other internet security software but am pretty sure it its the same method just a diffrent way to get there depending on your program.
- open AVG firewall
- click firewall settings
- a pop-up will appear and click this time sytem services in the active profile
- Click the Manage User System Rules
- click add rule
- another pop-up will appear and input from top to bottom
- TCP
- out
- Unrestricted ports (1024-65535)
- remote port(s) 80,6112,6600
- All Networks (Allow for All)
- choose a name click ok
- the pop-up will disappear and on the previous window/ pop-up click confirm
- Edit: dubble check if it saved the rule by repeating the process
or check here for a more detailed solution here
if this dose not work try one of the other methods written in this thread.
but am pretty sure now that the majority of the problem is a security software(firewall) or a router based.
Mabey one last solution if its a firewall issue and you dont know how to do any of this,
is to use the windows firewall instead of your normal one, its as good as a firewall as any other you usually use.

Nice, I’m glad that worked for you. I wonder what’s going on with automatic root cert updates on your computer.
I did the same, and it works (for all exept buy page).
(edited by MagnifiQue.2947)
I understand that it’s a lot to work with and it is usually down for repairs, but right now it is not working correctly and it needs to be fixed.
You can buy and sell, but if you do a wide search of items (Example: I select the drop down list and select Armor → Coat) it doesn’t properly function.
It will load and say 1-10 of 896.
I hit next to see 11-20 but sometimes it will bug out and say “No results found” and the page will be blank.
I would much rather have the broker down and fixed rather than it being up and not being able to search for things i need.
Please fix this and thanks in advance.
:)

Good news! you indeed found the solution to my problem it did turn out to be the AVG firewall thanks for that.
However adding the new rule did NOT work. Like you suggested i turned off AVG firewall and enabled the windows firewall and this DID work for me.
I will keep things like this for a while until a better fix for the AVG firewall problem is presented.
Thanks again Komatik you have been a great help.

Your welcome, glad that i could be of assistance.
Did you dubble check if AVG saved the new rule? It took me 2 times before
it saved it.
I have removed a lot of items that day and they are still not available for pick-up.
Has anyone received their removed items back?
I fear that I have lost all of my removed items…
