Considering it’s not moderated at all it’s pretty awesome that it has the smallest portion of whiners compared to that trainwreck which is … every other forum. People who want to play how they want just get beaten in to submission so hard here they don’t post again.
Actually, it is moderated, somewhat. I got an infraction a couple of days ago for posting in this cesspit of a carebear thread that got moved here that it’s a cesspit of a carebear thread and shouldn’t be moved here.
But honestly, that was kind of a first timer.
I really wonder if they read it and don’t care, or just don’t read it.
For a change perhaps we could simply answer someone’s question politely. Instead of jumping on to every single opportunity to be a jerk to them. I know that it is extremely tempting and fun to express yourself. But sometimes being helpful is better. Just answer their question.
Actually, we did answer the tafu questions… The first few times they got posted. Then, when people were starting new threads while there were 3 more on the front page, we started trolling. Okay, we started trolling way before that, but we still answered their questions. They just didn’t like the answers.
It was usually something along the lines of
sh*tter: “this path is broken”
us: “not it’s not, L2P”
sh*tter: “but it needs advanced tactics”
us: “these are the tactics, L2P”
sh*tter: “but I don’t want to use advanced tactics, they make my brain hurt”
us: “then you don’t deserve the reward tied to the challenge”
sh*tter: “but I do, this boss is just unfair”
us: “we can do it without even breaking a sweat, the boss isn’t unfair”
sh*tter: “but you guys are mean, and the game is unfair. I deserve to be able to do every dungeon path with my condi damage longbow ranger build”
us: “stop running terrible builds and you’ll be fine”
sh*tter: “but my build isn’t terrible”
us: “if it wasn’t, you’d be able to beat this boss”
sh*tter: “you’re just mean”
us: “okay”
sh*tter: “get it”
Not to mention, in comparison to some other end game PvE subforums that existed in GW1, this one is filled with sunshine and roses.
