Glitch, i want to thank you for creating this Thread and this “Movement” if you will of like minded players.

Ive played more in the last two days than i have in weeks, simply because i have someone to talk to, bounce ideas off of, help if i need it

We had a great time last night in HotW. I am still trying to figure out if dungeons are getting easier or if I am getting better. I think the first, although, the way G has me spec’ed, I am doing better. Helequin, (I think it was you, that he gave advice on Engineer spec) Give his spec a try. It is great for healing/sidekick ability. I am getting great delight in being a help removing conditions and healing in dungeons. I feel like I am actually helping now, rather than just extra baggage being dragged around. Still a cream puff… I will likely always be that… but a helpful creampuff now.

Oh, I am thrilled to say I am officially on vacation now. No work for two weeks. WOOT ME!!!!

EDIT: Also, all of these fun pictures from dungeon running makes me want to try out a dungeon too. I’m afraid that I’ll horrible, though. I feel like I’m holding my own in PvE, but I know WvW, PvP, and dungeons are whole ‘nother beasts. If you organize a NA AC run, hit me up – maybe I’ll be courageous enough to join in!

Sixth form college… I’m from the US, so this is a foreign concept to me. I read the Wikipedia article, and I’m still not really sure about it.

In any case, I’m in the US, at a community college, which is a two-year college that sometimes people choose to attend instead of or before going to a university. Typically much cheaper, sometimes much easier than a university. In my case, I’m going there to complete the general education requirements for a Bachelor’s degree and also to figure out what I want to study. That way, when I go to university in the fall, I’ll be able to start on my third year of college study, and begin taking classes in my chosen major immediately.

@Aeleniel – Hehe I live in the UK and am 2 years from going to university/college. Not sure if i want to study in the UK or USA….

And the list of how many dungeons runs i’ve done and enjoyed has increased! Completed Ac explore path 2 again!! Thanks all who stuck it out with me

Robmann, welcome! And it is good to have some more SBI people on here. My RL friends are being wishy washy.

This is a good spot for finding dungeon groups, since those work cross-server. General PvE were are pretty scattered and there aren’t too many of us on SBI, but once guesting comes there will be much partying.

I’ll be logging shortly, and will make sure you have an invite. I think that’s all invites up to date…

As for all the talk about schools:
Graduated last year from Canadian university. I went straight out of secondary school, pretty much the standard 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th year set-up. Except I had co-op as well, which made it 5 years with 16 month of paid work in there. Exams would be running now, up until about the 21 or 22 most likely. I don’t miss the engineering exams….we had one go 3.5 hours and still no one finished. There were 3 questions.

PS – for members from the US, no we don’t get the whole freshman, sophomore stuff. Just 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th year here :P

Had a borked TA run tonight with G, Monty and Kaii. (and someone else) We got to Faloin (or whatever) and she would NOT play with us. So we started bursting the spider eggs. Killed them one by one. Then Kaii got this GREAT idea of busting them ALL. And…. they killed us… and THEN the stupid npc boss wanted to fight. GAHH. But there were a billion spiders and new eggs. It was not possible. BUT it was funny. (pic to follow of monty being swarmed)

Met another husband/wife team tonight, and dragged them around to the four jp in Caladon. It was funny to watch them…. acting and behaving like G and I. I loved it.

Very nice of you to send Vlawde that skill book! They’re kind of spendy… I have to muster the willpower to blow all of my money on the Master level book. Woohoo!

@Elowin – Dungeons can take a little while getting used to but once you’ve done all the paths you never have to go back unless you love them to bits. Going with people you know aren’t going to get frustrated as well because they don’t want a quick run is a good idea. And a special Elowin achievement for being mobbed by a miniature army of spiders

Additional Comments: First off I share the account with my brother. So out of 4 chars created two are mine (females) and the two other are my brother’s (males). My main char is already 80 for some time but my gear and all is bad… Like really bad.

Throughout my experience in Guild Wars 2 I haven’t been in any guild at all, still am not. Though I remember from my playing Guild Wars 1 that guilds are fun. Maybe I’ll find one soon. I am even willing sometimes to change worlds to other EU world to join some nice guild willing to accept this casual player like me, because nothing is keeping me in my current world.

Right now I’m slowly completing the map, though it will probably be a long time before I do it all. I also would want to see how dungeons work because I haven’t even run AC story till now. But I never did because I suck at playing and don’t want to be the one slowing down the whole group.

I am very timid but I can ramble a lot when I start writing. Because I am used to doing almost everything solo I rarely talk and would take time to get used to that.

Are you willing to participate in Operation: UNION’S project, Y/N?: Sure, if I can, then why not.

This is a casual/social place. At the time being most of our EU players are situated on Aurora Glade or Gunnar’s Hold. If you are looking for more active play go to Gunnar’s or another server other than Aurora. Most players on Aurora my RL friends and family are most active on Fri to Sun only.

Been meaning to start with story modes soon though never found the nerve to do that. Hope the ruthless leader is patient too because I predict dying many times though I try to do well. Not always it comes out well, oops.

I suggest contacting Lexy to pair with on Gunnar’s, she’s a lovely person that you want to get to know asap! Once you’re in just stir up a conversation in the chat.

Also just recommend that you read your skills and know exactly what they do. Knowing your class is the key to winning! A person that does well.knows their class very well.

Ok I’ve made the change I’m in Gunnar’s Hold now So I may be able to game with you guys when I get leveled up enough. I’m off to work in a minute but I should be able to play a bit tomorrow night.

Also approach dungeons with an open mind. Don’t expect it to be easy/hard, it’s just different. Approach it with a clear open mind, it’s slightly different from normal PvE.

I always want to do my best, will probably stay in the back, as I play ele so need to keep away not to die too much and attack from a far. I am really willing to listen, especially when someone takes the time to lead me, wouldn’t want to make it bad for others who do that.

Allright!!! Done with the PvE world completion. Started the WvW completion but to me, thus far, it’s more annoying that Orr lol.

The maps are like several zones combined, and then you have 3 world zones and one common one to go through and find vista/POI/etc. Oh and not to mention that you need to go through the enemy parts to get therse… I CBF TBH LOL!

Anyways, currently “grinding” in Orr for rare/exos so if you see me online in guild let me know and we can do some dungeons or run through Orr. I have not commenced any dungeons yet so I would need to do story first.
