Every time Courtyard pops up in the map pool it gets overwhelmingly the most votes and dada~~! Fun old school 5v5 begins.

Shows how people love Deathmatch. Besides, the map is so aesthetic.

Can we have some more like that? Maybe you bring Capricorn back and make the ship THE Deathmatch map, that would be awesome too.

They should make 2 more TDM maps and remove then from the Conquest List.

This way we can enjoy this game mode meanwhile the haters play their point game.

Only because people can rez.

A TDM works in a 2vs2 or 3vs3 mode in a more clean map.

5vs5 is bad

Most of the time I see Courtyard it gets one or two votes, the 7 vote landslide is rare. Out of the twenty or so people I know who PvP they all hate Courtyard.

i very rarely see courtyard get votes. And lately, when courtyard is selected, i’ve noticed many people either dropping and not coming back, or dropping and relogging in with bunker engineers.

To be honest, why people with Conquest builds would vote for Courtyard?

Nope. You don’t speak for everyone else. I love courtyard.

If there were mere TDM maps, that would only mean a bigger chance of doing that game mode. It needs polish before I can agree to that.

Individual timer respawn, I just can’t get behind that. Just a suggestion from the top of my head, if there were several time limited ‘bouts’ where all players exited spawn together, and didn’t respawn until the next bout, that would be a huge improvement for me.

Just let there be 5 bouts of 2:00, cooldowns reset each time so it’s always fresh and fair combat, not staggered spawn camp.

Would love to see some more open maps but I’ll take what I can get. +1 more deathmatch in a seperate queue

I would love for a death match mode as well. Certainly would expand the pvp community more. And possibly could go into tournaments as well which would encourage more build diversity rather than conquest metas.

Also it would be nice if you could queue for deathmatch, queue for conquest, or both.

Also if we could have multiple specs saved so we could have one for each and switch easily instead of scrambling to get it all done in 1m.

I’d also really love more death match maps. But I’m not a fan of Courtyard. It feels too constrained on my normal playstyle – either I’m getting obstructed, or right in the melee and instantly dead. And being forced out of the spawn before your team can recover and regroup more often than not just leads to runaway snowball matches and spawn camps.

We also definitely need easily swappable specs before more DM or other game modes are in play.

I think I’ve seen one time where Courtyard pop up and it had more than 5 votes. Most of the time it gets 1 or 0. So no, it’s not popular.

Playing conquest maps becomes stale, I pick courtyard because its different and reminds me abit of GW1 HA spiking

Personally, I’d love more TDM. Any new maps, even, to be honest.

Courtyard is fine, having a brawler tdm game mode fine, but please can we take it out of the conquest rotation? if you like that kind of cluster kitten then far be it from me to stop you but take 2 more maps and get your own que cause I like conquest.

I love me some death match, alot of fun and alot of different ways to attack the enemy group. I just takes a above average player to see its not wvw or zerg fest.

Terrible map, terrible to be forced into it. Take it out of the rotation and let them play it in norms.

No strat and always imbalanced.

Let’s add about 2-3 more Death Match maps, and then split the Queues into game modes, so you can choose to queue either for Death Match or Conquest modes.

That way, everyone will be happy, and I won’t have to try and set a new record in Panic respeccing everytime it shows up while I’m running a Conquest build.

It makes zero sense to have TDM in a Conquest queue. I have no issues with the map, but I’d rather not get thrown into TDM when I’m running a Conquest build and be a liability for my team.

The suggestion above to add 2 more TDM maps into a separate queue is a very good one.
