How many dbers are still playing that remember when we last played SoS the week after half our server transferred over? How many of those guilds are still playing on SoS I wonder? Are there enough left that this will affect the match this week? Should be interesting.

I remember very well. i hope we keep SoS off the map as much as possible. what i love the most is even though all those guild jumped ship to blackgate they still aren’t beating jade quarry…

Great fights tonight inside Hills on TC borderland. Kaineng would come in then Tarnished coast then one after the other was great fun. I haven’t had fights like that in a long time. Loving tier 2 compared to the second job that is tier 1.

No smearing here. Elephant Ambush [EA] – Has been on Dragonbrand since day 1 and was there for our fall down the tiers after the mass exodus to SoS. Dragonbrand has fought back up and have finally gotten a shot at SoS again after the demolition at their hands the same week we lost our WvW guilds.

There’s also an [EA] on Yak’s Bend apparently lol.

Although I only started playing this game about a month ago, I can understand that feeling, as I have a sort of sick fantasy of one day playing against all those bandwagoners in Blackgate and crushing them…

But just to note, if you’re looking to beat up the bandwagoners, I’d suspect the majority of them to be in Blackgate. Once a bandwagoner, always a bandwagoner I’d guess.

Its been fun fighting Yaks Bag, and Dragonbag so far. I’m curious to see the kind of oceanic presence these server offer.

I think Sea of Bags works best out of all the server names in this match up.

We’re celebrating for seeing what our NA crew is capable of, we didn’t came here with the intention of steamroll on SoS, we’re not fools.

This is a great matchup, some terrific fights and SoS borderland was hectic for many hours from reset , excellent work all!

Well its late… and the Bl’s are already dominated by one server… Anyone up for dueling behind the southern most camp in DB BL?

Current score. shaky start but we’re recovering well.

Another one of these weeks. All the off hour servers should be put in a bracket and just play each other over and over. Be better for them and better for everyone else too, as far as competition and fun fights.

Especially the ones that have hemorrhaged players from prime times and are now extremely bottom heavy. How many servers has this happened to now, about 4 or 5. It’s a vicious cycle.

Odd perspective, the original HoD was the biggest of all band wagons. A literal horde of people spamming the gw2guild website before release, all watching for whatever server the alliances were going to, so they knew where to get their free ride.

Power came back on in time to ride the NNK/TFV gravytrain. Time to flip the map.

There is life beyond tier 1 & 2, & it tends to have less lag, a better frame rate & more small scale skirmishes. All desirable things in my book.

Hoping for a fun week of war! Nice to see Dragonbrand again and look forward to see what Yak’s Bend brings to the table. You can only control what happens in your time period so give ’em hell when you can!

ROFL I go to sleep and we are all out OWNING… I wake up to see we got night capped and sent to last place… ANet needs to make actual region locked servers. Clearly for WVW only. I don’t care if you have North American friends. That’s fine. Guest to them for PVE dungeons. But this whole flimsy system for WvW is just plain bad.

I play on a North American server… During North American primetime we dominate. Then the oceanic guilds get on a NA server and we lose… I’m living in the twilight zone if I’m the only person who sees the flaw in this system.

I’m not completely bitter. I’m happy to see Yak’s stepped up in T3 during NA primetime and was destroying. Way to represent. =D There is no shame in losing to oceanic when you play on an NA server. We need tougher immigration reform! Vote for me!

Jade Quarry has been in the top 3 since day one. they had stayed up there every eek except 1.

First off, let me just say that ANYONE who thought T3 was a joke was talking completely out of their butt. You guys brought such pain to SoS on shuffle we had to double take to make sure we weren’t thrown back into T1! I think after 20 min into the match, BG and YB had a combined 22 golems on the map. EPIC!

As far as the hate harbored by our old server, feel free. We will try and keep it clean and classy while we are here, as we did when we moved up, and how we are when moving down. When we moved to SoS, it was a different game. Times have changed, and now its not ONLY a single bracket that gets all the competitive teams, but MANY. Keep giving us your all and we would be honored to stay here and compete with your teams!

Amazing showing by YB! Very good coordinated movement by your commanders during NA prime push on SoS BL. I know how difficult it is to coordinate large scale combat on a micro level, and you were able to keep us on our toes. Well fought!

Looking forward to another great day of WvW. If you do catch a /salute from us, it is not sarcastic. Lets keep the fun rolling, GJ and GG!

I got no hate harbored, but a rematch between DB and SoS has been a long time coming since we were rather gutted immediately before the last one :P

With that said, I can’t deny there’s a certain satisfaction in fighting tsym on the battlefield again. Though I’ve only seen stragglers so far.

I’d like to see SoS stick around in tier 3

Yea those dam Aussies need to play on the dam oceanic time zone servers and leave NA alone. Oh wait.

And Owning you do during NA is same thing them owning during oceanic/SEA time slots. DB NA people are not numerous same as YB oceanic. How think DB oceanic feels when they lose everything to NA time slots. It is not their choice to play on NA it is only choice other than picking a EU server that is 3x distance away than NA ones. But I rarely see oceanic/SEA people whining on forums about all their owning when during their prime time is for nothing.

And BTW Even in NA people don’t play just at same time you do, so why should they be locked out of WvW because they work nights.

And I woke up this morning to find DB has dominated the map. Its the nature of WvW, when a server has better coverage in certain timezones they will dominate. I don’t see this as a flaw in the system, I see this as how a international 24/7 game works. So, from the first 24 hours of this matchup, it looks like each server is going to have a period of coverage domination. That sounds fair.

All of us no by now, you can predict a weeks outcome until monday night/tues morning. Too many players burn themselves out on weekend trying to get the highest sunday night tally and then give up if they are a few k points behind.

Attrition wins WvW and most of us know it by now. Sticking in their and holding those keeps against overwhelming odds is what makes it fun for me. Everyone has their own part they enjoy or else they would leave.
