I didn’t really care that much about the fact that BG is the most stacked server I have ever personally seen, but your BG forum warriors jumped in. And tbh I don’t really care about BG being stacked, it happens its the way WvW is designed to work so I work with it. But don’t be denying the fact that BG is the most stacked server in recent history. Its yours so wear it.

Funny I remember a few weeks ago BG actually coming in third place a couple of times. And no BG is not as stacked of the super server JQ recruited before end of free transfers. Seriously, talk about trying to eliminate any competition for decent fights. When SoR made it to t1 JQ made them and SoS look like t8 servers for awhile with the pro PVD.
Not shocking with such boring/easy wins for so long ppl stop logging in wvw when there wasn’t a 50k point lead.

merc, foe, agg, vi, work, atac, the rest of aoi, nd

FoE and Aggression left BG as you’re probably fully aware, I hardly see VI anymore and work/AoI merged into the AoI guild as with all of the guilds that left for BG we lost a lot of members. The core players of MERC and ND transferred over and thats why we are still kicking.

It also should be noted that OCX and SoX (could be confused with SoV again so I apologize in advance) went to SoR and a lot of our militia went to JQ.

I’m only entering this silly discussion to add two things:

1. My JQ friend and I queued for the exact same map last night, it took him well over half an hour for him to get into the map, my queue had popped six times before his did. This is only an example of one map at one time zone, but please stop crying numbers.

2. We’re t1 servers crying over numbers….. Seriously? Calm down and just enjoy the fights we have. Winning every week isn’t everything… and if it is to you, then I’m sorry.

There is no hypocrisy frudoo. I completely agree with what your saying. In the past JQ has been stacked. I didn’t like that it was stacked, but its the way WvW works. I wish it were different and I believe most would agree. But the difference is here before when JQ was stacked it was admitted. Now that BG is stacked they are denying the fact. You only have to read the previous comments to see that.

About 5 days back I was farming molten alliance and pugged with somebody at the entrance. The guy mentioned he was from BG and brought up the WvW and made some strategy comments. I thought he must have been guesting when he said he was BG but it said he was from JQ. I asked him what he meant when he said he was from JQ and he told me that he left BG because he didn’t like how stacked the server was getting. Full respect for him for that. Most would just ride the easy wins.

According to some JQQers, JQ won those match not because JQ was stacked or has the best coverage, it was because they are the most skillful out of T3…which we all know is simply not true.

I beg your pardon?

Before the end of free transfers, the competition and coverage between Jade Quarry and Sea of Sorrows was tight, the 3rd tier 1 server could even produce a 3 way competition in some weeks. Each server could cover 2 timezones out of 3 timezones, having 1 blindspot which was counter balanced the other servers.

When the end of free transfers was announced, almost every single guild from any lower, middle or higher tiered server that was looking to transfer to tier 1, joined Jade Quarry.
Effectively doubling or tripling the active WvW population of the server. The rest of the competition didn’t receive much in comparison, 1 or 2 guilds here and there, but nothing like the 30+ guilds that transferred to JQ.

The end result was Jade Quarry completely smashing tier 1 without a contest for 3 months. When Jade Quarry tried they would beat the other servers with winning margins of 100k-200k+, when JQ has taken it easy and gone casual they’ve still been winning by 50-100k points. Jade Quarry is the most anti competitive and stacked server in Guild Wars 2 history.

The Blackgate you see now is a knee jerk reaction to keep up with Jade Quarry. Jade Quarry created this.

The sad part is that a lot of people predicted this 4 months ago and warned how this would damage the competition before it was too late, yet it fell upon deaf ears and JQ received another 20 guilds.

Personally I don’t care who wins. But I hate this whole super server stacking business, it’s damaging to WvW and it kills the competition. It’s good that JQ finally has an opponent to compete against now, but I’d rather have 3 way fights 24/7, where any tier 1 server can win it on the final day.

But please don’t go on claiming that JQ isn’t stacked, just please! LOL

How can you, sostronk, say that BG is stacked when earlier in this thread you were complaining about JQ’s numbers being lower than average and it not being a morale issue? I mean morale factors in now, but by your own admission, the less dedicated of JQ stopped coming before you lost the lead.

We probably have more numbers than SOR right now, if not at least more stable coverage, but we are struggling atm because SOR is constantly trying to turn it into a 2v1 and the 2v1 spawn camping hurt for a long time . You seem mad. Ive yet to see you once in WvW frudoo and your on JQ so why don’t you take your own advice? Also, JQ did receive quite a few guilds, I wasn’t very happy with the Euro stacking, but we did not recruit entire servers.

So you think the only guild that left SOS and went to BG was MERC? Apparently you don’t know much about the topic your talking about. There were 10 major guilds that left SOS and went to BG and a few small ones. As for WM, yes they pretty much are all of Kaineng. They went from bottom tier to second tier purely because of WM.

Someone should post a list of all the guilds that transferred to jq. Think there were over 25 of them.

Only a few guilds from SOS went to BG and a few have already transferred off.

Then there is the issue. You think I am complaining about it, but I am not. Some of the BG forum trolls made a big deal out of it, so it seemed to be an issue for them.
