I am posting for my friend who has submitted a ticket concerning his banned account. It has been 4 days and Anet has not yet replied. My friend was banned for botting for a second time in under 2 weeks when he has never botted. As he cannot post on the forums, I am posting on his behalf as his ticket has not been looked at besides receiving a copy/paste message from the support team.
As he has now been banned for 5 days in total from both bans, I would hope this issue is resolved soon. Thank you.

Hi Gaile Gray,
i was was told that you can help once the ticket is 3 days or more old. My brother account was terminated for using illegal 3rd party and the reply i got from GM’s was similar to what was on the error screens. I play GW2 with him we use the same pc’s, the only programs he runs while playing gw2 are SKYPE and TeamSpeak which are commonly use for wvw and other MMORPG. He plays 4-12 hours a day, and sometimes even more. Please help me clarify to them that he does not bot or macro. I don’t know what to do anymore.

My brother have a problem too, he is got this messege “your guild wars account has been terminated for engaging or assisting with gold or item sales for real world money, which is a breach of the user agreement and rules of conduct” but he never do such things, he just helping me for buying an item in Guild Wars 2.
Later he send a ticket but he got a new messege, "We Have detected that your account may have been accessed by an unauthorized individual. For your security, further access to the account has been suspended until this matter can be resolved. To restore access to this account, please contact support and one of our representatives will assist you”
After a few days this problem has not been resolved, please do something GM, his account is legal so bring his account back so he can play Guild Wars 2 again…

Yet again, I am asking that players please coordinate, and not post multiple tickets about the same situation. If you’re discussing an issue in the game, in forums, whatever, please one of you say you will post in this thread and then do so. This was easy to spot, as the posts were adjacent to one another. But other situations have had four threads by four people scattered over a full page, and it’s really time consuming to keep opening the ticket, only to realize it’s the one you opened thrice before.
I will review this, but thanks for understanding about not putting up multiple posts about the same ticket (within the same timeframe).

The reason I am reposting this (yes I know its above) was because the ticket was resolved. However, the issue has reemerged and now my friend is banned again. He refuses to open a new ticket as this is the same problem he has been having for the past two weeks. That is why a new ticket is not necessary. This account has not been “Resolved”. This is my husbands account. Who did you talk to because he has not gotten any emails what so ever. Is this tread fake to keep the cries of bad support down? It has been 11 days and we have not gotten an answer from anyone. If you are talking to someone the account has been compromised and you are talking to someone who stole the account.
My friend was banned because I sent him 100g Friday 2am Pacific Standard time. When he was banned he sent in a ticket that morning (for me he’s from malaysia).

It was closed on false pretenses. I Personally withdrew the money from guild bank to send to him to fund his commander pin. He returned the money because he didn’t want to take money from the guild bank he wanted to earn it himself. He spent two months karma grinding and money farming to both fund his legendary and reach fractals 53. He wouldn’t waste all this time and effort to only buy gold. This action should be reversed.

How dare you do this to me , i will NOT fill out any of the stuff you want me to on that, restore my CC so i can buy the stuff i want .
Just because someone thought this was a good idea i want this fixed i have spend hundreds on this game money is not a problem with me.

An agent responded today and I think you’ll be reassured by the message that he sent. This absolutely will not affect your credit score! There is an internal system that was developed to provide a level of protection for accounts that make significant purchases. (One protection is against someone making unauthorized purchases, like a child using his/her parent’s credit card and running up a bunch of purchases.)
I want to say that — as a player and a consumer — I totally understand your confusion about this. I am going to discuss the process with some team leads to learn whether there’s a simpler way to allow you to move forward with your desired purchases in a way that still prevents mis-uses on other accounts. But the process that the agent described seems sort of painless to me, and it’ll get you where you want to be, albeit with you taking a bit of extra time to manually input the CC number.
I just had to respond because you were worried about things that would concern me, too, and I sure wanted you to know all was well from a consumer/credit rating standpoint. The limits are internal and are not at all related to you, your card, your rating, anything like that. And I also wanted to thank you for your support of the game!

About a week ago, I had a friend (eVoVe.7659) post for me about a ticket (130106-002397). I know that you do not want multiple people posting here, and I truly apologize, but I have since bought a 2nd account, and I don’t want to burden him with posting here again to update my case.
I know that you were looking into this matter, and I really appreciate your help. Today I got an answer from support, and they informed me that because my purchase of gems got denied by my credit card company and there was a charge back, that therefore my account has been permanently closed and cannot be re-opened.
I really hope that there is something you can do to help me get my account back. This was completely an accident, and I am willing to pay again for the gems as well as any charges that might have been incurred as a result of the chargeback. This case here (https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/support/account/Suggestions-for-CS-improvement/first#post971285) appears to be similar and it seems like he was eventually able to restore his account.

I have a ticket (130105-002862) that is several weeks old, I have not heard a thing since it was escalated a little over a week ago.
The problem is that when I reenable e-mail authentication I don’t recieve the e-mails, which is strange considering that I do recieve the e-mails from support which has the same source (guildwars2.com).
Here is the reference number which was created at 11/16/2012 .

I fully understand the need to look deeper into accounts you think might be behaving incorrectly, but I didn’t do any botting. Does a bot:
1. Play 400 hours on one character, mostly in WvW?
2. Get over 5,000 kills in WvW?
3. Complete the Wintersday achevement?
4. Get all mini endless potions and minis for Wintersday?
5. Never sell gold?
6. Buy approximately $150 in gems with money, not gold?
7. Buy Wintersday presents from the gem store?
8. Buy black lion keys from the gem store?
9. Complete 40% of the map?
I can keep going. What I did was farm in an area and you mistakenly think I was botting.
Because this ban is now 9 days old, I’m getting seriously close to the end of my patience.
If my account isn’t reinstated soon, I’ll be forced to demand for a full refund of all gems purchased in your game and I will not touch it again. I do not want to do this, but your obvious avoidance of reasonably responding to your false botting accusation and ban is more than insulting and a deficiency of good service.
