worse. while SIMILAR bugs, there is nothing to suggest the recently broken “meeting the asura” is the same bug as the merged bug of “sometimes challange motes don’t show up”. which at least had workarounds.
This has none, and if the dev team thinks its the same problem it may not have the same priority, nor may the even be looking at it from the right direction.

I heard a rumor in game, that the not so recent disappearance of the MotA challenge mote is not a bug at all, but it’s intentionally disabled to stop ppl from exploiting with it. I wasn’t told any specifics, but the exploit itself was -while not widely known- pretty game breaking in a way. (infinite achie points perhaps~)

Well if i can get that last achievement, I’ll get my boots, finish the lumi set, and get an ascended armor chest. So I want that achievement. :P

Well I was gonna finally finish my Luminescent set but the Meeting The Asura mote is nowhere to be found so apparently I’m completely bar’d from getting it…

Any ideas/comments?

Either I’m hallucinating or the challenge mote was just there before I completed the Invisible Infiltration achievement. Now it doesn’t seem to appear anymore, so I can’t start Unforgiving Infiltration now.

I can’t do the “Unforgiving Infiltration” achivement in ‘Meeting the Asura’ from Seeds of Truth since the Challange Mote DOESN’T APPEAR how many times I try no matter which charachter I am on.

I want my achivement points, please fix this ANet? It’s been MONTHS since the release of this ;_;

This is so lame, I’ve tried restarting the LS again in 2 different ways and even doing it in order. It’s literally unfixable and completely progress haltingly broken. I can’t believe it’s been this way for 3 months+

Edit: Tried doing it in a group instead, doesn’t work, tried swapping chars, nope, tried relogging, nope, tried rereading letter, nope, tried asking baby jesus, nope, tried guesting to new server, nope, tried entering 300 times, nope, tried yelling at Marjory in /say for 3 hours, nope, tried shadowstepping into the ground to see if it’s buried deep within the soil, nope, tried abandoning LS on all alts, nope, tried replaying every single one and opening every LS main in game, nope~ nothing works. NOTHING! WE’RE ALL DOOMED$#&*

Hot is pretty far off. Your comment is the opposite of helping. Dev looks at it “ooh this guy is okay with waiting for months” Well I’m certainly not okay with any waiting what so ever, I’m just trying to keep myself busy in game, to avoid looking at them boots xd

Yes, dev response on page 10. Will that actually change anything or fix anything? Probably not.

Im having the same problem the mote is gone and i cant continue with the achivement

i have also been trying the achievement every day for a month. and sending in a bug report every day for a month

Yes, dev response on page 10. Will that actually change anything or fix anything? Probably not.

Dev just saied he will add it to the “bugs to be reviewed" so it can take a looooong time till something about it will happens… sadly its not working for about a month and i fear it will not work another month till the will start doing something about it… even if the removed it on purpose to prevent some exploit or something they should have fixed it by now… The last achiev im missing from LS…and by far the hardest achiev to get in GW2 (because you cant get it!!!)

I hate the reply that it’s not blocking progress. As this is a horizontally progressive game, the side stuff, the acquisition of assets and items is the progression in the game, therefore the achievements and the rewards of those achievements are the progress, therefore it is blocking progress. And paying gems for just the story? That’s ridiculous, the achievements are part of the living story just as much as the actual story is, otherwise perhaps a gem price to unlock the story then a separate gem price to unlock the achievements would be needed? Ridiculous. And the time it’s taking to even get attention to the issue, and no answers of any sort on a timetable or possibility of a fix is even more frustrating.

“PAYING” customers don’t deserve this, whether they’re new and paying gems for the content or been here since beta and had to put off living story stuff due to real life.

Yeah it’s literally blocking progress. Achievement progress. This is, like many others, last thing needed to finish the lumi set. I am hoping beyond all hope the next patch fixes it.

Even though we weren’t able to keep it on the front page of reddit at least we’ve kept it on the front page for the bugs section. We have the most replies too.
