Issues with character art, weapons, or armor?
How come the picture for the light armour piece: Exalted Masque, looks like a helmet, but when previewed or worn it looks like a just a tiny face piece on the side of the characters head?
Armor Clipping
Screenshot: sorry only screenshot from preview as I have not obtained the gear yet

Description:
Major clipping occurs with Fractal Capacitor and “Corrupted Orrian Mantle” (Arah dungeon light shoulders). The backpiece is literally inside the back of the shoulder piece.
Red Elements On Leather Coat
- Species: All
- Gender: Both
- Class: All Medium Armor Wearing Classes
- Item: “Leather” Medium Chest Armor
Description:
The “Leather” coat has red elements all over it. Most of the bright red elements are around the edges of many areas of the coat (buckles, collar, seams of leather flaps), though the forearms also have a large red section on the inside middle of them. Despite my screenshot only featuring my Sylvari, this issue persists across all medium armor classes and across all species with this chest armor. It also remains apparent on characters from different game installations, on different computers with different hardware, and across all graphics settings.
Also: There is a seam at the wrists where the sleeves of the coat meet the hands that leaves them to appear as if they are dislocated or floating slightly in some idle body movements (and other actions).

Issue: clipping ? an odd piece of graphic appears over a small section of the character’s face, only when entering combat stance
Description: So while taking screenshots I noticed that when I press ‘shift’ and pull out my weapon, a small piece of cloth extends just above my characters one eye. As far as I can tell this serves no real purpose and looks very odd, so I think it is a bug.
This graphic is only visible as long as I have my weapon out, when I put away my weapon it disappears.

As shown in the second image, this armour has lost all of it’s “additional colours” (Such as the extra leaves underneath the back part that would create a strange colour different to the original dye, seen in the fifth image) It now looks like it’s being shown in subsampling quality, but I have my settings on all the highest. Dyeing the armour in one of the dye slots now changes the glow colour, that was originally determined by the skin colour of a sylvari, before the patch on my sylvari is shown in the third image, which you can now see is different in the first. The whole change comparison can be seen in the fifth image, the left side is current and the right side is before this patch. All the dyes are the same, so you can see how dramatic the change seems to be. I’ve looked on my female sylvari with T2 Light cultural, and it seems her glow is unaffected by the dye, like it was before this patch. It also seems to have changed the parts under the arm leaves so they now also glow the colour that you’ve dyed a certain dye slot.
It appears that extra dye slots have been given to the gloves, and yet they do not change a single thing, seen in the fourth image.
Thank you for reading this and I hope the issue is resolved soon.

Since today’s patch, my female sylvari’s eye colour has changed, affecting her look significantly. Her eye colour is “Oak” and it used to be a sort of gentle orange/yellow. Now it’s a very high contrast red-orange that blends into her pupils.

I noticed that the newly introduced Trickster’s armor has tail clipping issues for the charr.
Been this way since launch:
My norn ranger with this specific haircut has a glitch with the strap on the noble headpiece (crafted). It seems to only be this headpiece because I checked with the similar one called leather mask (crafted). The skins are similar and the straps go across the same area so it seems to be more a clipping issue with the armor and not the head or hairstyle itself. Screenshot attached.

Wrist ‘Twisting’ during Bladetrail (GS #4) animation. Character Model issue
Race: Human
Sex: Male
Class: (Warrior, Obviously)
Description: Simply put it’s an incredibly strange visual glitch during the animation. I noticed it shortly after the most recent patch was downloaded. It happens regardless of armor. I checked my charr warrior to see if this was an issue there, but it isn’t. While it’s certainly not game breaking it’s exceptionally silly, and a little annoying.
Look at the character’s right wrist, that’s where the silly is happening.

Yo, yo. This particular asura female hair style isn’t functioning properly. Something over time as probably ruined the hairstyle, because the problem wasn’t always here, and it happens to NPC asura with the same hair style as well.
On the left is the bugged and recent hair style, on the right is the old version. It is not the lighting of the game on the hair, as the bugged hair persists no matter where the character is.
The texture/coloring on my Thief’s jacket is showing up incorrectly. The color of the jacket stretches up like a turtleneck, but when I look at the H panel, it’s clearly not supposed to.
Edit: Today I noticed that, even in the pictures where the jacket shows up correctly without the “turtleneck” coloring, my character’s neck is still discolored, almost like she’s wearing a mask. This is visible in the H-panel picture, although not terribly obvious.

Description: The rewards mask for playing Mad King Says sits too low on my characters face. The top band is roughly in line with his pupil instead of having him actually look through the eye holes. The rest of the gear is invaders, and the mask was applied to an invaders cowl if that makes any difference. I’ve included him without the mask incase it’s his face model that is the issue (I’m not sure how to get more detailed info on which model it is). The last image might be the most telling with his profile, you can see where his brow is in comparison to the top of the mask.
Thank you for your time.

There’s something weird going on with her hair since the latest patch. It doesn’t mesh with the skin!
(edited by Kiayin.3427)
sylvari cultural armors have been upgraded […] dye masks have also been altered so that players will have more control over the results of the armor glow. This currently affects Medium Tier 2 (legs will be re-addressed for glow and dye alignment)
Will the medium Evergreen Boots also get fixed? Currently (well, since release) not only are some parts impossible to dye, but they also clip through the characters’ ankles and feet.
See screenshot (I used bright blue and pink to make it more obvious; the idea is to have them in shades of brown, to match my character’s skin).
On my Human Engineer, the hobosacks for the kits—specifically the grenade kit and bomb kit in my screenshots—cut her head in half. Given how effective these kits are, this glitch is distracting enough that I actually avoid playing her.

Very small thing that should be very easy to fix! The head piece for Sylvari females wearing the Aetherblade Light Armor Skin shows their ears. No matter what ear option you might choose, the clipping is there and looks really silly. Should be as easy as hiding the ears when this piece is worn, yes? This issue has been driving me insane since release, and I’m surprised that no one has brought it up. It’s my eyes. You see, I have an asura that doesn’t have gigantic eyes, so in every cut-scene when he “squints”, it just looks like his eyes are closed (see img #2 below). I’m going to have to go through my entire story with my character’s eyes closed, and that being so, I just can’t do it. Is the scaling off or something with the eyes perhaps? Kudu and I share the same face, but his eyes remain open.

Hello i have an incinerator and i noticed that when i wear Incinerator off-hand and i draw my weapons i dont get the fire spiral effect around my toon’d body, effects that shows instwad when Incinerator is worn on main-hand.
I have taken two pictures, at the exact moment in which the weapons are drawing, the first one, wearing my Incinerator Main-hand, the second picture wearing Incinerator Off-hand.
I know that if two legendary weapons are worn, the one in main-hand has the priority so foorprints and body effects showed are from the main-hand weapon. But in my case, in Main-hand i use an Abyssal scepter ive gotten from the mystic forge throwing the materials from its recipe, so a normal weapon that should not cover any of the legendary effects of Incinerator as far as i know.
Is it suppose to be like that? or is it a bug? if it is a bug, can it be fixed?

(while I have other clothing on, I tested this with no clothing on. It’s still the same weird clipping.
But the pieces are:
Wrangler Helm (T2 Charr medium 65)
Invisible Armageddon Shoulderpads (80)
Strong Leather Coat (45)
Rawhide Bracers(80, skin from WvW)
Pirate Pants (80)
Pirate Boots (80)
Forest Brace (55, no model))
Now, the image is a little hard to make out. There’s some rather serious clipping that occurs on the neck on female Charr, the back sides. However—the real issue seems to be on the left side of the body.
There seems to be a problem with the geometry, a misplaced vertex or something, as the strap and a piece of internal geometry are stretched pointing to somewhere to the rear of the female charr’s left arm.
This causes weird stretched textures, a strange triangular spike that juts off through the arm in the front and behind it in the back. It doesn’t seem to be effected by Model quality or texture or shaders, as I spent a good hour adjusting these to check.
I think it may be a problem with a single stray vertice.
The neck issue is less blatantly awful, it just seems that there’s too much tightness at the rear of the neck on the Charr model, causing clipping.
