One player, once upon a time, mentioned that “no one really knows if there’s a gap between T2 and T1” because it’d been static for so long.

You have decided that because of that one remark, ALL T2 SERVERS, especially TC, seem to think we could beat T1 servers.

That is not the case, and never has been….yet you have made it your personal troll campaign and odd obsession for the past couple months. No one from TC went into this week expecting to do amazingly well against SoR. SoR, for all intents and purposes is a “T0” server, not a T1 server, anyway.

If TC was going to be even partially comparable to a T1 server, it would be JQ, and even then that wouldn’t be a win…it would just be a more fair fight than this week has been.

Compounding this week was our obvious 50% attendance yesterday because of this stupid dragon event. These stupid ANet events annoy the hades out of me.

And it’s not. We have greater than 50% of your score for the week, we’ve ticked higher than you on several occasions. If you look at the difference between SoR and the other T1 servers, the other servers were sitting roughly between where TC and SoR are right now.

SoS was sitting at the top of T4 at the same margin SoR sits at in T1. They belonged at the top of T3, clearly, hence the reason I said SoR would belong in T0, if something like that were to exist.

This is not the “utter obliteration” that you forecasted.

I know I for one love TC and would like to see them become more competitive (in terms of coverage, not heart or skill) in the future.

when you see 80+ players coming at a keep filled with 30+ its not difficult to realize the outcome.

Every once in a while we find a semi even fight and we all have more fun.

Majority of our players dont do pve. Also we are starting to get worried about our rating as BG are about to go above us (Ahh what are Anet thinking), which means we may well get another one sided match up next week.

The new system is messed up considering that a sever can outrank another from rating outside of a direct confrontation. Any competitive ranking needs to be transparent and should never be based on gambling. The random roll can favour a server or another rating outcome based on the matchups. regardless of the true server strength. There is no way to verify the random roll and there is no 3rd party involved to predict and verify the results. It seems that Millenium site also waiting for ANet to provide the random roll (through the API or leaderboards) before the end of the matchup so they would then be able to predict next matchups.

That could happen in the old system as well.

It never happened within the same tier, for example in the old system you had to defeat the number 1 server to take it’s place at least 1 time. Same for 2nd and 3rd place and same for every tier.

This is incorrect. If I’m remembering correctly, SoR made it’s debut at #2 in Tier 1, jumping from green in Tier 2. The outcome of the Tier 1 match did not matter.

Let’s make it simple, under the old system the number 1 ranked server has always been decided within the Tier 1 by direct confrontation, nobody has jumped on the first place unless they directly defeated the champion. For example, there is something wrong with the system if BG makes it number 1 while SoR is undefeated.

Obviously SoS and TC haven’t completed the “I hate your guts” period of our relationship.

Whoa, nobody wants to 2v1 anybody. I guess it seemed that way these past couple of weeks because we got tired of fighting, and we wanted to see other people. But it was still nice to see you guys on the other third of the map, just in case we wanted to fight you. But it is still good to get break.

But in this match up, most of us actually like Ebay. Maguuma though, is just full of e-thugs straight up calling guilds out. I guess we just understood each other in the end.

Maybe we’ll see you again Friday.

Honestly I have no idea how much SoR is holding back on us, cuz we’re doing a lot better than the last time we faced them.

I have question, how can you tell that you are doing a lot better than last time knowing that SoR is holding back ?
The score now is no different than the average of our previous matchups even if we holding back.
If you are asking, I would say that TC has grown about as much as SoR since last time we met.
All this has no relevance, most importantly while we here is that we enjoy the game and we are having fun together.

It’s been an overall pleasure being around SoR this week, but I definitely prefer the old system to this RNG crap. I think we pretty much all can agree on that, if nothing else.

Ironcically we lost that several times today. xD

SoR is missing 1 guild completely that we know of, and 1 guild that is taking the week to refresh.

Unless BG or JQ is in the match, would be hard to tell how TC does against a full strength SoR.

Lol yeh its a real shame dragon bash came out, you guys were doing really well in na prime before that, especially as u had nothing upgraded in na prime.

Only one more day and we get to dance with RNG. I wonder if SOR will continue to climb down the server list while wining. The math they use is why people have crap mortgages in MERICA.

Also what really grinds me gears, seeing Anet Devs running around on SOR killing SOS and TC. Those kittens should be on SOS and TC playing out this great match up system.

Anet employees play on all the servers. I remember them doing a video WvW tutorial on SoS (I think) and a recent Q&A session about the future of GW2 on TC.

The Dragon Bash is on all servers but I think that SoR started to push a bit harder just to keep the rating in check. I agree that another T1 or T2 server would be more challenging as well.

I personally hope I never see TC in a match up again. =(
This week was fun at first, and our stand down was well intentioned and not meant to be mocking. Now I don’t ever care to enter wvw. I just want to be in a different match up and I don’t even care if the feeling is mutual. Good luck to you guys, hopefully we won’t see each other next week.
