2K hours played, 8 Level 80s, 4 World Complete, 10K Ach Point. I have never seen anyone in chat that has got a precursor from loot.

I have done all gifts, just waiting for my precursor. But I will probibly buy it from TP when having 800 gold or something (year 2015 or so…). i wish I could play the TP instead as that is the only way of getting 800G fast.

I want to make these sellable to. Even if I dont use them Im having a horder-problem and cannot throw them away since I have earned them doing stuff.

I think the jewelry are account bound on aquire and soulbound on use. But the armour itself are soulbound

Thanks for input, I have almost given up the very thought of getting a precursor from a drop. Having 2000h played in the game and maybe 1/4 of that time in Orr. Not even seeing someone else getting that as drop.

I have maybe wasted 100 shortbows (rare+exotics) in the toilet, still no luck. I may need to farm 400g to be able to afford it.

Do I feel lucky? – naaah! :p

I have managed to get all my gifts now, so only need the precursor, which in my case is “The Lover” shortbow. Im having 120g now when all gifts are made. So whats the best way to get precursor? Save money or try the Mystic Forge?

If mystic forge, should I buy rare, exotics, craft them myself? Level 76, Level 80s?
What you think is the best way?

Rather easy maybe, I want the nearest Point of interest name here.

The NPC is Scholar Brogun at MAW event, may be easyer to take NPC photos with some surroundings then!

Would be fun to have some form of competition here, the rules are easy;

• Post a screenshot of a location, you may edit and cut the picture.
• Post a screenshot of an npc, you may edit and cut the picture.
• Post something other that can be guess-able and make a competition of it.

The location should be specified exacly, not only which map it belongs to. Either the closest WP or the specific map location name. The NPC name should be specified correctly. (Spelling error is OK).

The one that guess correct first time may post a new screenshot. Correct answer should be confirmed before posting a new picture. (Or the evidence should be strong enough).

We start this competition rather easy then with both alternativs to show you how it works.

I would love to get a nice setup on what armour to buy, I prefer Karma or Badges of Honor. Have 3M Karma and 3K badges to spend. And need the Gold for my other toons and for my legendary.

So! Armour, Weapon, Runes and Sigils and also some nice traits for that. It doesnt matter if its a glass cannon build or a defense build. Just want a nice build here.

No, havent tryed old drivers. Hmm, Im not that keen in having old drivers either. Strange that Nvidia has it that way? But you think its only a GPU driver issue this? Also with the freeze of the computer when trying to quit the game?

Changed the graphic settings some, when watching the FPS (by checking F11 during gameplay) I seems to be 60-50, and that seems like a nice FPS. So really dont know why thoose glitches comes.

A sudden FPS-drop? – which then causes the game to behave like crazy?

My PC runs:
i5 2500K at 4.6 Ghz (OC)
Geforce GTX 580 (have frequently installed new drivers) – OCd a bit
8GB Ram
OCZ-Agility 3 SSD disk running only Win 8 and GW2

The game runs fine, but every day (sometimes more then 1 time/day) it just starts to glitch, the screen blinks a bit and then the game is unplayable. Everything is suddenly super laggy. And I watch the temps on CPU/GPU – they are not high at all.
Sometimes if not closing the game fast in this state, the whole computer turns slow and not responding to my actions. So I need to restart it if that happends.

Even if I just restart GW2 when this has happend (not restarting computer) the game is still laggy most of the times. I have not seen this in any other games. And I really want to know if its the game or my hardware that is going bad?

I have just bought myself a 3D smart TV (Samsung PS60F5505) and I have a Nvidia GTX580 overclocked graphic card.

Is this game possible to play in 3D and how do I need to configure my graphic card for that? Is there any settings on the TV as well for better performance that is neccessary?

But the serial key? Can I get that back? Well I’m using up my creditcards pretty fast, 2 per year or something. Why would I keep a record on my previous cardnumber?
I agree in some way that safety here is important. And I’m also happy to see that they are not just reseting password that easy. Just a frustrating emailconversation and I can also see that I was a little hard in my words too. With that said I still feel that my answers did not seem to be read.

Really dont know why my serial code is gone, the email must have been deleted by mistake. And I never got the serial back from Anet either. So every time they ask for it I cant tell them the number. Can this serial code be obtained afterwards?

I can see that too, but if you did spend time and read the conversation, it really seems that they are not even reading my answers. They kept aksing me about the serial code and my 4 last digits on credit card. And I had written that down first time.
And they first asked 3 question, I answered them,
then 10 more questions, I answered them.
And after that, they asked for serial and credit card again? – why? Why not just reset password after those 10 questions? Why ask for serial code/creditcard number again? – that I have statet I dont have!

And why 4 days to answer that?

I really think that the password should be easyer to get then that, I agree that it need some kind of security, but 4 days with same questions about serial codes/credit card?

Okay, lots of information here, so I made a *.png file instead with the conversation.
It took me 4 whole days, from the very morning on 1st day to evening on 4th day just to get my password back. The service center asked me questions over and over again. Question I had write down before. Just like they even didnt read my response.

Totally frustrating, I do undestand that some sort of security questions needs to be done, but then at least read the answers and dont re-ask same questions for 4 days!

Another legendary shortbow? There is only the dreamer…

Had the same issue as you. The WvW took more time to complete then the whole PvE-map. Its not even fun trying to get all pois, vistas and so one in WvW, 3 places that are exacly the same.

But you need your badge of honor to legendary, so you still need to play WvW for that.
The badges are extremly rare, so I would advice you to have 5 charrs doing the jumping puzzle instead. I havent even started with this yet, but I am also aiming for a legendary, and I hate WvW too =)

It was pretty easy this one, got it on 2nd try with randoms. But it was pretty fun

And 200sp is one of the easy part in getting a legendary. Have 500sp total. And I’m not even close in getting t6 material or making gold for runestones etc

But it takes all this just to get 20 pieces of that T6, right?

Well I really dont care if there are other weapons, and the legendary itself arent that much better. Its just the look of them. So I want that, but dont like PvP. Thats why I ask.

I really dont agree that I must be good at pvp for a legendary. I like PvE and Im good at that. So that shouldnt be enough?

So I have to do 500 badges of honor, and dont like WvW. So I got a tips to do theese jumping puzzles with 5 charrs. That will make me achieve 75 badges per day.

Tryed that some weeks ago, but of course, enemy players where at the same place and they did not bother in the puzzle it self, just killing me. So I got frustrated with this and quit playing WvW.

I wonder if there is a specific Guild doing theese puzzles? I really want to make 500 badges, but I dont want to kill a couple of thousands enemys for that. Or if some party can help me with this?

If it makes anyone feel any better, I have roughly 450 hours in and I have never gotten an exotic drop other than one of the <80 ones you get for zone clears. Never an exotic drop. Ever.

Same here, 600+ hours and not a single exotic drop
The precursor will soon be there, they are just testing our patience!
I agree that it sucks that som “free trial players” got themselves a precursor and some that have spend hundreds of hours in Orr doesnt get rewarded. With that saying I am glad for thoose who got their precursor from the event. Just hope that the droprates in Orr can be little higher after this!

Totally agree with that. Really dont understand why its not like this in the first place. I have not played that much WvW, have only 200 kills and map complete. For that I now have 46 badges. So 6 badges is my “reward” for killing 200. And I am aiming for 500 (legendary). But I really dont want to spend all my GW2-time in WvW because I dont like that kind of game. So I am voting for a change to!

I an level 3. But I should have been 6 now. Dc 3 times of 6 on the last section of the last fractal. Hours of wasted time here! I do like the dungeons but this dc thing is making me hate them. It’s a gamble. Either you make it or you dc while trying.

You could do the event several times by jumping into overflows that hadnt completed it yet, the chest was bound to you so could not loot twice anyway.

I did it about four times and had a blast all the way. no precursors though but i didnt have one before the event either.

So the ones that got 5-7 chests? How did they do it? My guildie jumped to our overflow after he was done the first time, but he did not get any new chest. So the ones claiming to get 5-7 chest are lying? Or could they have done it with 5 different charrs?

Bu some people got the chest 5-7 times? How could they achieve that?

How could you do the event more then one time? Wasn’t it a one time only?

I’ve posted a similar thread about this same issues. I have been trying to accomplish my last 2-4% of the world complete in the same amount of time spending my fist 96-98%. It is a really bad way of “making” people play wvw. And for the one saying “it’s a part of the legendary” just don’t get it.
There is already a part for that, collecting all the non dropping badge of honor. And to make wvw in monthly as well is good enough. I think people that want to play wvw would like this to. Not having “world completers” taking anothers spot. So either take “world complete” away from one of the steps for a legendary or just see the problem and rid us pveplayers the need for doing this.
And I disagree with the one saying it’s for introducing the wvw. Rather then fun, I only get angry and frustrated. I don’t have time doing this when I need to farm like crazy in Orr for my legendary either.
