At least let us know you’re looking into this
Joinging the Club guys. Same here. No Reward. Hollow feeling when you get your last point from a map expeting the achievments and chests to pop up….and nothing happens…
You don’t have to do this, as anyone without 100% map completion can confirm you, the rewards will be retroactive once you enter the map again, so you can go ahead and finish your maps while they fix it.
See also https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/support/bugs/SW-dry-top-southsun-no-map-comp-rewards/5640354
I have discovered the pattern for mine
I have 6 characters with 100% WORLD completion, and 2 without.
The 6 with world completion did not receive rewards, the 2 without received rewards both for SW/DT/SSC maps already completed and once completed which i did to test.
So it seems if you already have world completion you will not receive it, but if you haven’t you will.
I agree that the system was okay on the PVE-only side, but not at all on the WvW-only side, this is a positive change for them.
+1 here, sent a ticket and they redirected me here, can confirm the problem is with having 100% map completion prior to the patch.
Whatever they said back then is irrelevant now, because the base game is now free even if you don’t buy HoT.
Your comparison with skins is just another case of apples and oranges.
Just finished Dry Top, nothing either.
“Map completion rewards have been added to Dry Top, the Silverwastes, and Southsun Cove.”
I finished Silverwastes completion after patch and I didn’t get any rewards, also no retroactive rewards for Southsun, is this working as intended?
Any skill challenges that you did out in the world (now Hero Challenges), those points where converted into the new HP (not shards).
Essentially the only existing skill points that got converted into spirit shards were those “in excess” of the calculation for the HPs given to you for your current level + challenges completed. So, any you got from “leveling” after 80, or from popping skill point scrolls were what got converted.
I see… Well I mostly farmed skill points in PvP and stuff. I had about 200 in my inventory (I kept them in my inventory in case I changed my mind about my favorite elite spec) and I guess those are now spirit shards…
Yeah, even if you used them before you quit they would’ve turned into spirit shards, only skill points from leveling and open world were turned into hero points, so you didn’t get screwed up, you have / are able to get exactly the same amount of hero points as everyone else, since there’s a static amount of hero points from leveling and open world.

Sometimes I think people would’ve cried less if they said you need 40 “jungle points” instead of hero points.
Take notes for the next expansion.

So you want elite spec unlocked right away? With all skins unlocked as well including all new legendaries? billions of each mats in the bank? All maps unlocked with an instant teleport to wherever you want option? Dev Menu? OHKO button? Cheat mode?
What the puppy?
Absolutely NOBODY is asking for skins and items to be giving to us. What we are asking for is a REASONABLE path to the specs to use to get them. The only quibble is what is the definition of reasonable (ie, hero point cost) but the absolute upper end is how many points you can EARN in the existing zones as that is what we were told.
It’s a 100% reasonable path, the problem is people with alts that only want to do 1 character’s worth of effort to unlock everything.

I think everything should be unlocked when we hit 80 and we should have the best statistical gear by then. Grinding should be left to cosmetics. Good idea???
Add in, we should hit 80 within a few hours after starting the game, all waypoints unlocked as well.
I’ll simplify it for you.
I wanted to play the new content as my Herald.
Not play the new content to get a herald at the end.
But you don’t decide how the game is developed, you can merely offer suggestions.
We’re just tired of the goal post, constantly moving. “Oh hey, I saved up 100g for that shiny new precursor!” Economy Change! Precursors now 1000g!! “Oh wow, it took awhile, but I finally got that map completion, and all the hero pts!” Screw You, DO MOAR! :’(
Its just disheartening. We were under the impression that veteran players would already have enough pts, if they did map completion. Now, it just feels like a punishment, more than some excuse to play more. As if we wouldn’t play as much… We just want to play the content, in our elite spec.
The goal post NEVER moved. Someone datamined some stuff, and everyone took it as gospel. When did Anet ever change the goal post on this?
In fact, by giving us 10 points for every hero point in HoT, they’ve made it very easy to level up your elite specialization.
They didn’t plant the goal post until now so it comes off as being intentionally shady.
Well that’s great for people who like pve… Buy hey look, you can level up 400 times per character in wvw right?
Always remember vayne, you can always measure success by asking yourself “is it fun?”. For many players this will not be considered a success story filled with “fun”.
They also didn’t tell people until recently that you could get this playing WvW or that the hero points in HoT would give you 10 points each and there’s enough of them to give you your entire spec. That’s pretty generous. 40 hero point challenges in HoT is a lot less than 400 in the open world.
I don’t think anyone expected that.
And let’s not forget, some of that is skins, not skills. You don’t even need all 400 to get you entire usable spec unlocked.
I think many people — especially those who keep saying people are whining — continue to forget about alts. So, if I wanted to get the elite spec for all the professions, that’s 3600 hero points I have to farm. And, yes, at that point it IS farming.
You chose to have several alts, when you made that choice you didn’t get those alts at 80 either, you had to level them up, it’s not unreasonable to expect any sort of character horizontal progression the same way you had to progress your character to get them to 80.
Literally this whole thread is just people asking to dumb it down to everyone else because they decided to go overboard with alts.

Another storm in a teacup event. Wonder what the next end of the world will be?
I think people haven’t realized Revenant wont start at 80, so they are paying for new content yet forced to go do the same they have been doing for 3 years to get it to 80. /s
I strongly dislike that I’m buying an expansion and then I have to do farming on all my alts to access the new content I bought the expansion for, the elite specializations. For me personally that seems more like a chore than fun gameplay. I have spent a lot of time running around PvE gathering hero points on one of the several alts I have and have reached something like 120 hero points. That’s not fun for me. Even if the ones in the jungle (a zone that doesn’t hold alot of interest for me personally) are worth more, and even if you can buy them with badges of honor, these are just alternative ways of grinding instead of just playing. I don’t know any good alternative solutions though. Maybe just let people play the content they have bought the expansion for and leave all the grinding to unlock the new skins?
You know, you can use this “argument” for literally everything else coming in the expansion.

Unless I am mistaken just to unlock half of the training line, we need 212 hero points?
It’s 400 points total to unlock everything in an elite spec training line – I just can’t remember off hand how many points folks have currently if they have done all the existing ones, but it’s right around 200. The rest you’ll need to earn in jungle to unlock the deeper skills/traits/etc. in the training line.
You only need 60 hero points to begin using your elite spec, the points you spend after that continue to unlock more skills, traits, skins, etc.
Again, hero challenges are worth 10 points each in the jungle. So no you don’t need to go do 200-400 jungle challenges.
A Portrait of the Player as a WvW Regular
- Two accounts (actually I have three but only purchased HoT for these two).
- Twelve level 80s
- Two above 60 hero points
- Only one with 100% map completion
- 75% of toons under 20% map completion
- 5904 combined total gaming hours
- No Legendary
- No full sets of ascended gear
- Purchaser of gems with real cash
- 1892 combined WXP rank (677 and 1215 respectively)How can you help me? Can I hire you to get the hero points for my toons?
Anet should totally cater to you, because your case is the same as 90% of the playerbase.
His case is the same as a lot more players then you think. GJ on the ignorance though, mega servers give you the illusion of PvE being more populated. You would be surprised how many WvW players there actually are.
Yeah because there’s a direct relation between WvW population and people with 12 characters.
“His case is the same as a lot more players then you think.”

Nice cherry pick, did you just decide to leave out the rest of the list because it did not suit your argument ?
My first reply to him was about his 12 alts in 3 accounts, you said his case is the same as a lot more players (which only a delusional person would believe) you bring up PvE megaserver population as if it has anything to do with the topic and now you accuse me of cherry picking…

Personally, I think that the cost and inflation is a bit silly. Are we to be perpetually stuck with 214 spare hero points?
Would have been better, IMO, if they required unlocking the elite spec to be a part of HoT gameplay (outside of WvW and PvP of course), such as a unique non-story instance in the open world or something akin to the second trait unlocking system (doing a particular event to unlock it), but the costs to be even managable as just doing core content – e.g., 100 points, with HoT only providing 50 hero points.
But what’s done is done…
Then you would get an even bigger kittenstorm because people don’t want to get hero points in the core game, it’s better that way if core game points are not required.

It’s starting to sound as if they are selling an incomplete product.
You need to do X to get your Elite specs eventually, sorry Guild hall arenas will take X time to get, Raids won’t be released until X date.
So wtf exactly is it we paid for ? The ability to eventually play content ?
Heres a jungle, we got that completed … mostly, but you will need to get all your masteries done so you can eventually explore it all.
This is just plain silly.
I’m not saying everything should be handed to us right off the bat and no work should be put in what so ever but it’s becoming very apparent that they bit off more then they can chew with the number of time gates put on literally every aspect of the expansion.
This post made me laugh more than it shouldn’t.
When you bought the original game, did it come out with a fully leveled 80, full map exploration, full legendaries, full gold, full items? You paid to be able to do those things, and also paid for all the future incoming content, since the base game is not getting any new content.
So yes, you are saying everything should be handed to you right off the bat.

It’s not bad for neither players nor developers, it’s not unheard of in the gaming industry that you have to play new content in order to access new abilities. You’re just plain lazy and want everything unlocked on day 1.
LOL
This would be like making me do 10 pushups at the cinema before they hand me a pair of 3D glasses – cause I have to work for seeing a movie in 3D (new mechanic).
Of course it’s a game – entertainment that I paid for. That’s why I’m lazy and would like to have my class mechanics on day 1 please. Content – I am excited to spend the time to uncover it and be awed with every mastery.
How I play my class… Not so much – I just feel locked out of the entertainment I paid for.
PS: this is really bad for developers because they are effectively forcing tons of players to run around with empty traits – ineffectively, and are declaring the core game obsolete (hot is worth 10:1 core HP and you can get everything you need in hot skipping all core content). Bad bad. :/
This must be your first MMORPG then, this is the standard for any game, actually no this is much easier than what is expected in other games, it doesn’t matter how much money you spent, you bought a product to play it the way the devs intended to, if you don’t like it you’re free to make your own game and play it yourself.
PS: Your analogy sucks since you already got to 80 and went through a bigger grind for content you paid for.

No, it’s much easier, people only have to run to the specific hero points in each map and that’s it.

Oh this SUCKS! I don’t want to be a Necromancer. I’m only interested in playing as a Reaper. The current Necromancer base class feels very underwhelming and clunky and weak to me. It’s not enjoyable at all.
Now I gotta grind out a ton of hero points in a game that promises no grind just so I can play the way I want in a game that promises we can always play how we want? No thanks. This really has just completely reversed all the hype I had for HoT and makes me regret picking up this game again.
Also, wait a second, so let me get this straight. We go into Maguuma Jungle, and unlock the first half, at most, of our new spec. And then if we want to actually use that spec immediately, we have to use a trait line that isn’t finished? So we’re literally handicapping ourselves while we skip past all the other HoT content and head straight to all the hero challenges? That sounds like such a brilliant idea…
Yep, just like when you started the game you had to grind all those 80 levels in a game that promises no grind, just so you can play the way you want in a game that the devs have always decided how you should play (they control this through material or gold output, or flat out removing content).
It’s a completely new scenario that has never been seen in this game.

14 pages of complaint because people don’t want to do a few hero challenges to get new skills… I’m perplexed.
It doesn’t take years to do 40 hero challenges, not months, not weeks, maybe a couple days.
Try 320 hero challenges if you want to try out all of the specs and see where people are having some issue if they had been expecting to do so on or near day 1.
Now that’s your problem, they cannot dumb down the game for everyone else because little john over there has dozens of alts and doesn’t want to put any effort into the game.
I mean, you guys act like this is a new situation, if you want another class you already have to do all that work leveling it, it’s not instant level 80, nor it comes with everything unlocked, same with waypoints, map completions, etc. Work on one spec at a time and you will have all the hero points in no time, there’s no need to have everything unlocked on day 1 after it’s released.
I don’t understand why they’re doing this. It’s bad for players and bad for developers.
For instance, I main an ele but at this point I won’t even bother unlocking tempest to try it as I think it will be a waste of time given the info we have so far. So I am better off switching my main to something I really want to play since it takes such an investment for alts / changing main.
It’s not bad for neither players nor developers, it’s not unheard of in the gaming industry that you have to play new content in order to access new abilities. You’re just plain lazy and want everything unlocked on day 1.
All I am reading is a few people upset about the change that keep posting every few post trying to say how bad this will be.
I understand this is a casual game, but logging on and getting everything for every character is just not going to happen. There is nothing wrong with having to play the game on each character to get the elite specs.
The issue being this decision forces players to NOT play the game they want to play. This decision forces players to go play content they might not want to play or replay in order to just access the base functionality of elite specs.
Imagine you’ve gotten Maguuma Map Mastery on one, two, or even three characters. Maybe you have all 3 new legendaries. Now imagine you have 6 more characters you WANT to play but you’re sick of grinding the jungle and don’t like WvW.You have no choice. Your only option is to grind out a lot of content you’ve already completed or that you just don’t like in order to play your Elite specs in raids, against world bosses, in dungeons, etc.
Again, hero points don’t take that long to get, you’re blowing this way out of proportion.
They have always made decisions that force people to try out different parts of the game, this is nothing new, and honestly this is mild compared to the old requirement to have WvW for world completion, or legendaries requiring you to literally play everything the game has to offer, even things you might dislike.
Reminder that this isn’t a sandbox game, this is a themepark and you are still playing in whatever way they want you to play.

It doesn’t take years to do 40 hero challenges, not months, not weeks, maybe a couple days.
I’m not in favor of development time spent on convenience features which enable players to be less social in MMO’s.
Because linking things in chat and never talking again is the epitome of socialization… never mind the frequent cases when you don’t even get a reply at all.
Is it just me, or does it bother anybody else that the whole intent of this suggestion is, basically, to copy outfits?
Like, what’s the point otherwise? If it only tells you the name of the skins, you’d still have to google or talk to someone to see how to obtain them, so I can’t see a use for this aside from becoming clones of one another. The wardrobe already does that expect in cases of skins that you can’t acquire anyway
I just don’t understand the desire to do that I suppose.
Strawman.
You didn’t even read the whole post, the main feature is a proper way to be able to see the person other than playing with zoom and hoping they don’t move too much, dc or wp away, besides if as you say there’s already a wardrobe, why are you so scared someone might use your look as inspiration to make their own? Aren’t they already able to do that?
In a game that is all about skins and showing off what you got, I just don’t understand the desire to remain as hidden as possible
And again why is it so hard for people to whisper and ask what shoulder or chest or helm or weapon someone is wearing?
This is mainly about being able to SEE them, hence why I left the skin names as secondary.
When I want to see someone’s skins, I just stand behind them, and then bring the camera up close. /shrug
Or we could have a dedicated window for that. Would having a dedicated window you can ignore if you don’t like it ruin your gaming experience?
As others have already stated, you can preview ALL the game’s skins in the account wardrobe, even the ones you haven’t unlocked yet. If I remember correctly it’s in the PvP section of the game. The game already has a solution for what you want to accomplish, you just need to use it.
Here’s a flammable shield to cover yourself with if you need it.
This is about previewing the current skins being worn by someone, not preview every single skin available in the game.
I don’t get why you guys act like an easier way to see someone’s look would break your game.
I think the biggest reason against it, is, it is gonna turn out to be a gateway to a full on inspect of stats. People really dont want that, and anything similar or making that easier to come about, is gonna be met with resistance. Think of it like the democrat party does… if they cant get a big change pushed thru to law, they start really small, making slight changes, until after 4 years, you now have the original bill pushed thru, just in a round about way, and with no one realizing it happened!
I know, and that’s why I asked in the original post, and asking you again to keep it off the thread, I don’t want it to be derailed with that argument, this proposed feature would only show the target character and perhaps their skins.
After the wardrobe was implemented every item got their own skin code, so I’m sure this could be easily implemented without having to deal with stats.
And again why is it so hard for people to whisper and ask what shoulder or chest or helm or weapon someone is wearing?
This is mainly about being able to SEE them, hence why I left the skin names as secondary.

HOLD YOUR PITCHFORKS AND TORCHES FOR A SECOND
Before I start, yes, I have done my homework and have searched for this topic before I made it, this is not about inspecting people’s stats, please do not discuss that aspect in this thread.
For a game that is all about collecting skins instead of the typical power grind, it still surprises me this game has no easy way for others to get a close look on your gear (skins), specially since this kind of game is usually played all the way zoomed out, so people only get a small glimpse of your gear, it would be great if they added an “inspect” option that only showed the same thing we see in our hero panel (an animated preview of the character) and perhaps (or not) the name of the skins being currently worn.
I’m well aware this community is obsessed with being different for the sake of being different, to the point of rejecting any new additions, but I think this would be a pretty good and harmless addition considering the focus on skins and looks.
In the threads I’ve read people were generally against it because it would only make the existent elitism even worse, but I reiterate, this is NOT about stats, just about previewing the skins being used with your gear.
Everything that you do in the game is logged, gems won’t disappear, even if they were to (they won’t) they have records and can refund you, this game has one of the most relaxed refund guidelines I’ve seen, even for in-game items.
Living Story already “ended”, each chapter ends when the next begins, if you didn’t login between when a chapter was active and the next one came out you have to pay.
Currently if you want to do season 2 you have to buy all chapters, the window to get them for free closed long ago.
How is it not against any rules to admit you’re kicking someone near the end of a run just to add a friend?
How is a subscription pay to win? And the game doesn’t even have a subscription. You can just play the game for free now, with some limitations
well you could always PLAY the game for free, getting the game was a different story.
Glad to see you can at least get the core game without forking over your first born. Though i’ve never agreed with applying account restrictions.
I do like a lot of the changes i’m reading about though.
So your firstborn is worth less than a single payment of $50?
I would love this. I could finally talk my wife into playing.
To all the people saying this can’t work, I’d like to direct your attention to Final Fantasy XIV. Works, runs, plays, perfectly. It’s also cross-platform.
Edit: And if you think this game has “too many skills” to work on a gamepad, you should see the enormity of skills in that game.
The combat is completely different. It’s slower in ffxiv. Also you don’t use all your skills even tho you have a lot. You’re rotation mostly includes the same skills over and over. A lot of people even macro skills together in the rotation. But that won’t work in gw2 especially in pvp where you need to switch up your rotation frequently based on the other player’s actions.
I don’t think we’re playing the same game if you’re using more than 10 hotkeys for weapon skills and utility skills at a given time.
a.) Megaserver.
This, all of my this. I used to do every single world boss (excluding balth) starting from reset and ending before midnight, even without guesting, the WB train was nearly nonstop, the zerg didn’t have to stop to do pres, as either me or a couple other people in my server would prepare pres ahead of time, but now the time table makes it impossible to do the same within the same amount of time.
I still do WBs because hey, variety, I never liked the champ train when it was a thing, SW can get as boring if you overdo it.
how do I know I won’t end up spending far more than that on the Mystic Forge?
You don’t, hence why the TP price.
You have a safe but expensive path: TP
An extremely time consuming and RNG loaded but “free” path: World Bosses
An even more RNG loaded and potentially costlier than the safe path: Mystic Forge
If you’re worried about RNG, just work towards the tangible goal of buying from TP
Alright, I do agree a new race would be great however I think they need to go along with the lore. You may not like lore but it’s important for many games that introduce new races. I would also prefer fixes on Charr clipping before they add anything like a centaur to guild wars 2. Overall, I like the idea of Kodan and Tengu but Dwarf cannot due to lore and Ogre and Centaur don’t really fit the image of guild wars 2 imo.
They are the writers, they can bend lore in any way without breaking it.
Centaurs? Look at how they introduced Charr.
Dwarves? Is it really that impossible for a tribe or faction of Dwarves to have lived secluded all this time, or just in one of the currently inaccessible zones of the game?
Why, exactly, do we need a new race? Because you’re bored? Why not try another game, then? I’m not trying to be hostile.
Yet you are being hostile, he wants some aesthetic changes, such as a new race, and you’re showing him the door. People are allowed to like things you don’t, you know?
Most people here are short sighted and lack any sort of creativity, they can’t figure out how to design a new class, so they think it’s impossible.
Just a bunch of armchair warriors who think they know how to develop a game.

You guys should compare WoW expansion reveal to HoT, or even ff14 heavensward. Most of MMORPG are vague about their expansion too, there are no weekly live stream about the content neither weekly detailed blog post.
Hi, just wanted to jump in to say you don’t know what you’re talking about. Before Heavensward preorder was up we knew the official release date, we knew every single content we were getting and they even showcased most of it in live events way before preorder was up.
40$ for a digital upgrade that shows to have nearly as much content as the core game at launch – and they showed this before asking us for our money, and even after pre-ordering was up keep in mind pre-order is not the same as pre-purchase, Square Enix didn’t charge anyone until very recently, just a couple weeks before Heavensward launch.
Meanwhile ArenaNet is asking players to blindly throw money without telling us what exactly we’re getting, without a set release date and completely disregarding the current playerbase by not adding a version upgrade, but having to pay for the core game + expansion again, not to mention ever since the HoT announcement they started having sales on the core game and had a FAQ up telling players they needed the core game, just to now tell these players they didn’t need the core game and only refunding those who bought very recently, shady deals there Anet.
I understand those who feel like $50 is an okay price tag, I won’t argue that, I will argue that we don’t know what we’re getting and Anet shouldn’t be asking us for money until they tell us what we’re getting, there’s a terrible lack of transparency here that was inexistent in the two quoted expansions, Heavensward and Warlords.
So many hipsters here, I thought hipsters died.
Didn’t read all responses but what I get from this is: They didn’t remove guesting.
People who play in the same world (or guest to the same world) have higher chance of ending in the same map. If you guest to TC you should still be able to play with the TC community unless the map is full.
The only inconvenience I see is that there’s still a small likelihood that people unrelated to TC could end in a TC main map, meaning that the map would get full a lot faster than it normally would.
This is a fundamental power abuse by the Devs; by playing an April Fool’s “joke” on the community, when the community is not able to do so on the Devs.
Poor judgement Devs, very poor judgement.
Send them a prank gift, they should have their physical address stated somewhere.
My GW2 folder is 17.9 GB, so that should be the total download size (gw2 is ready to use after downloading, no installs)
As for server depends if you want to play in a NA or EU server and if you plan to do some WvW later on.
The WvW ranking somewhat reflects a bit the PvE population, except for Sanctum of Rall and some others that lost WvW players but still keep a high PvE population, also the top 3 servers are full atm https://leaderboards.guildwars2.com/en/na/wvw
“When you unlock a dye after the feature pack is released, all characters on your account will have unlimited access to that color.
If you already have the same dyes unlocked on multiple characters, when you log in on additional characters, you will receive one unidentified dye for each duplicate dye already unlocked on your account."
So does this mean, in order for us to make a dye account unlocked, we must buy the color and unlock it, and if we already had it unlocked on individual characters then we get an unidentified dye for each old character locked dye of that color?
So we must once again purchase a single dye of every color we want regardless of how many characters already have it unlocked?
I’m a bit confused as to what you’re asking. But from my understanding…
All dyes on your characters will be converted to account-wide. Any duplicates across characters will pop an unidentified dye into your inventory (for a chance at another color). Any dye used after the feature patch is implemented is also automatically account-wide.
By the wording it uses, it sounds like you must unlock dyes again after the patch goes in. Then, after unlocking that color to the account, logging in with a character has its unlocked dyes scanned to see if an account unlock match is found and then you get the unid dye.
Example:
- Midnight Ice currently unlocked on 10 characters
- Patch hits
- No previously unlocked dyes become account unlocked
- Must buy and activate/unlock a new Midnight Ice into the account unlocked dyes
- Log in a character that had Midnight Ice unlocked for it and you get an unid dye
That is my understanding based on their wording. Nowhere does it say existing dyes unlock that color for the account. It says unlocking new dyes adds colors to the account unlocked dyes.
So:
- Act as if no dyes are currently unlocked
- Unlock the dyes you desire (buy a new one and ‘use’ it)
- Log in each character.
For each character that has a dye that you have added to your account unlocked dyes you get an unid dye.Reread this part:
If you already have the same dyes unlocked on multiple characters, when you log in on additional characters, you will receive one unidentified dye for each duplicate dye already unlocked on your account.
FOR EACH duplicate dye already UNLOCKED on your account.
“When you unlock a dye after the feature pack is released, all characters on your account will have unlimited access to that color.”
Bold.
I like to think about each map as an instance locked in an specific time, telling certain stories, reason why events keep restarting no matter how many times you clear them, reason why there seems to be an infinite supply of dredges / centaurs / flame legions / etc, reason why Orr will remain the same.
All events in Strait of Devastation and Malchor’s Leap assume that we have yet to reach Cursed Shore, but all events in Cursed Shore assume that the assault to Arah is either being prepared or is starting. Those maps tell fragments of the story and not even the living story can change that.
One way to do this is by implementing two versions of the same map, but is it really worth it? Orr is dead enough as it is right now.
Another way is new maps in Orr set in a time after Zhaitan, but new areas seem to fall under the LS and that one seems to be moving to the Maguuma Jungle.
It’s not about their minimum wage, their GW2 version will heavily rely on micro-transactions.
No one would pay our box price if on top of that they also would have to pay for a VIP subscription just to access features that could be considered as free/basic.
Meh even after you figure out the ‘joke’ it isnt that funny.
Also it is: A person from Piken, Desolation, and Baruch(Dont recognize that name for a server but whatever) meet up. The player from Desolation says “We killed Tequatl in under 6 minutes.” The player from Baruch says “That’s nothing.” The player from Piken says “We killed Tequatl in under 5 minutes.” Again the player from Baruch says “That’s nothing.” So then the player from Baruch says “With all the players went sent over there we didn’t have enough to do the event ourselves.”
Or maybe he just really wanted wanted some eggs and he accidentally typed it.
Thank you for the translation.
You all are going to feel really silly when dwarves start pouring out of that hole she’s drilling.
New race!
Evil race, dwarves confirmed as next main antagonists.
I hope they kill the Charr first so we can finally have capes.
Underground party, she just wants to be popular.
Concerned about Captain's airship passes.

Adapt or leave.
People are leaving in droves and that’s the entire issue here. ANet has completely failed to keep to their standards and the game is suffering because of it. I don’t see why some of you feel so compelled to defend the direction they’re going in when it’s killing the product.
We need change or this game is going to be left behind once the next batch of MMOs drop. They’ve just about used up all the goodwill they garnered with Guild Wars and the brand is at this point getting dragged through the mud. This should be beneath Guild Wars.
None of this is killing the product, it’s just washing out the gw1 fanboys who can’t get over the fact this isn’t gw1, gw2 is a MMMORPG and small changes like this wouldn’t even get a mention by a community that is used to play MMORPGs. This is change is irrelevant and small, gw1 fans are blowing this out of proportion like they do with every single change Anet makes.
I don’t agree with all changes made by Anet (not a white knight) but I don’t cry for every single small change they make like gw1 players do.
All alternatives can be reached in less than one minute and people choose to complain here instead of walking that short distance, if anything LA should be considered a bad alternative to town crafting.
Same situation as you OP.
