Harpies randomly go invulnerable, even in melee. Makes the fractal the WORST one, would be gamebreaking if we couldn’t maybe sometimes run past them.
Camera makes it impossible to see anything with that dome around it, otherwise she’s fun. can’t beat her because i can’t see
WOW, that is terrifying
I’ve been getting the same errors for the last few weeks, used to just happen at world events and dungeons, now it happens so much i can’t play for more than a few minutes. As far as I can tell, the problem doesn’t seem to be on my side.
I crash all the time, especially during group events or dungeons. I average 3 crashes during Tequatl and 6-8 during Claw of Jormag. This has to stop, it’s ridiculous and has been happening for several updates. This is the first bit of the crash report, this part is almost always the same.

So whenever i use the turrets in lowland burns, i’ll usually get kicked off after firing a shot (either skill). I also appear to be moved backwards, because if i don’t step forwards after getting kicked off i can’t use the turret again.
some very narrow angles will let me fire and not get kicked off, but they are rather difficult to find.
the example with the different kinds of magic was just to demonstrate that there are certain rules in tyria that can’t be broken, like the bloodstones separating the schools of magic
I completely forgot about that, well I feel silly
Hopefully this is the right place for this.
Anyhow, one of the things that I never understood about games with increasing stats/levels is that each fictional world has it’s own set of rules and laws that cannot be broken. IE. elementalists cannot make undead minions.
And a lot of those rules are borrowed from real life so we can relate to them. So why is it that our characters just keep getting stronger? I can lift weights all day, but I can only get so strong, I can study all night, and only get so smart. Even the pinnacles of the human condition have limits, so why are our characters unlimited?
In theory this is an excellent idea. In practice, it will be difficult to manage. If it was done, it’d be amazing, orr would function properly, starter zones would have people in them, etc. If done poorly, it’d just suck.
I think it can be done, but it will likely take some complicated programming depending on how they work it, and we won’t see it for a long time.
What the hell? Now I have reason to hate everything about Fractals.
If we need it to craft, it should be in the collections tab. period.
their entire communication style has always been unprofessional and just plain ineffective since the start
I think agony is a step backwards. it’s already been done, so this is becoming “just another MMO.” and to top it off, with this new gear it isn’t just a dungeon mechanic.
if it was a dungeon mechanic, that’s be great. I’d love agony as a dungeon mechanic, but putting it on a new tier of gear means it won’t be just a dungeon mechanic (otherwise why have a whole slot for it?). What happened to the gear plateau? it worked great in GW1, and new skins are needed more than “more numbers.”
I think they should have spent the time it took making a new tier of gear and made better encounter mechanics and DEs/dungeons.
This might honestly be enough to make me quit, i don’t know yet, but i am seriously considering it.
I would love to dual wield shields, that would be so cool
The problem with running in circles is that the sparks can get stuck on each other, or start attacking someone who is petrified and unfreezing them and then moving the spark takes enough time for the boss to heal up to full
on GoM it kept getting stuck all the time too, every saturday morning it would seem
i just spent 1 hour on this boss with the best people in my guild. we steamroll every other dungeon, every path. but not this one. The pathing is terrible, the boss heals way too fast, and the spark spots light up when they aren’t triggered (sometimes). It needs to be looked at, at the very least.
this was clearly intended, the jumping route is too well done to be an accident. i’m gonna have to use this sometime
it reset for me when downed, not dead
I have this problem too
