Guild Wars 2

Let us all be honest, the game was ok, and nothing compared to GW1. I know, I know, it has been beaten down so much the horse has already decomposed. Sucks that Guild Halls are coming only within the 2nd part if the game (or expansion) and even so, GvG is rumored to come with t as well.

However, even if none of you all remembered how upsetting the Campaigns were for GW1, I, for one, and actually really excited for this new expansion. I have very low hopes for it being successful, and I am so hoping to eat these words someday, but the thought of Guild Halls really gets me excited. It is probably the best thing about GW1. Inviting strangers to see your amazing mansion or castle was just groovy. even having the ability to 1v1 within them was amazing.

I am just hoping this expansion brings back the elements that made GW1 successful and polish it up a bit to make it more fun. The whole “Hurry up and play the DLC or you wont experience it” really killed it for GW2 and forced many players to quit the game even before the good stuff came out. Scarlet was my reason… that thing just wouldn’t die and after the 97th or 98th “DLC” I just said w/e, time for TERA.

However, I did come back and realized my legendary weapons are now Account bound.. GG! My “ascended” gear is acct bound.. GG Again! You do not have to rush the DLC to experience it.. G-Frikken-G!

I guess what I am trying to say is, I hope this expansion brings more of us vets back into the game and make this game somewhat bearable now. I do miss the jumping puzzles and what not so it may be fun <3

just press F12, click on teh same toon, and rez in LA and go back in. It works (Unless u are the one that started entrence)

Yes, we all know its annoying, but have patience and they will fix it soon. In the meantime, work on the new content or go outside and enjoy the fresh air/stars.

Seriously tho, I was in Black-gate server and got kicked from client when he was at 30%… Logged back in, Overflow, no daily, and turns out they killed Teq. Arena net, why do you plan on making quit this game after I have invested so much into it?

Can I get a real answer and not some kitten saying QQ less bla bla? This is the 3rd time its done it and I have submitted reports but I still have not been able to resolve it. I did the whole Port 80 thing and It is still happening.

Anyone in this server? I see many people from every other server but I do not see one from GoM. Well, I am either thinking of Making a new guild or joining one so yea.

Played Beta GW1, played beta GW2, and played for the 1st few months. Quit the game because it seems like its a race to complete the extra “Content” and well, it got boring. I have made 2 legendary weapons and had 8 lvl 80’s.

I deleted 5 chars and thought I should restart this game to see if all the 12yr olds have quit and the game if it got better.

Long story short, Looking for a new guild to play on Gate of Madness Server!

I think its an ok build. I tested it on a few dungeons and it works ok. i don’t like making builds but I will test them out anyday. Try to polish it a biut better and PM me and i will test it.

Then look no further. We are Twin Crimson Blade [Twin] and we are an original GW franchise guild stationed in {Gate of Madness}. We have people from "Pros’ to “Lows” We recently started this guild 2 days ago and already have rank 2 on all que. We are mainly aimed to helping new people getting adjusted to the game and our main goal is to make vets out of all our members. we dont really have a strict chat (Just no racism and religion plz) and we have lots of fun.

Most of our players also play other games (Such as LoL, Torchlight2, and many others) yet we do not discriminate. This is just a home that is willing to help for free.

Raffles and such will begin once we are rank 3 in everything.*

As far as stats for guild:
We are 19 deep (Small guilds are fun enough to make friends and help a lot)
we are que up to rank 2 on everything. we should be que 3 by the mid of the week.
We do a fairly good amount of dungeons as a group (Story mode and Expl mode)
Not much into fractals yet since most our players are below 50, but we still encourage it.
We are cheap and use either Skype or C3 as VOip
Have our own website (errr, its chitty, but under construction since its from our GW1 guild.)

Well, since we are in topics of Daggers.. What are the best dagger skins? I can not for the life of me find 1 that appeals to me as a necro

So i have made several threds on this and just came to a realization: It is not my necro that is bugged, its my sup rune that is.

My Awesome Charr is so sick it spreads it like Herpes, but its no good if i can not move. The way it happens is this: When i die, i get auto-rez’d. Once I get rez’d, i am stuck in the downed position and can not move. I blamed my necro for being bugged since (well, let us not beat around the bush) they are so bugged with skills that it literally makes them annoying to play (But well get into this at a later date.)

Problem has been solved though. I tested this out on my Mesmer and it started to do the same thing. Basically when you die, with 6 runes activated, you drop a Death Nova and something dies automatically. This makes you rez’d up and bugged. I tested it in 3 areas and it happened the same way as my necro.

The only way to fix this is to either use a skill that moves or teleports you or you are downed and up manually.

So there ya have it Anet. You have a problem, cause is known, and now we need you to find a solution! You are very welcome

It has been happening a lot on my Necro, but I have yet to find it on other toons. Basically, when I am downed, i am automatically rez’d but stuck in position. I found 2 ways to get rid of it, but it requires technique: Use Deaths shroud and use skill 2, or die and come back by using 4. it may/may not occur multiple times, but it does help. Here are screens from 2 areas. TA Explorable and cont remember the other, fractals i think.. I keep submitting reports but nothing has happen. I have had this problem since after the Halloween event.

Hey Anet, would it be possible to be able to preview items on the Trading Post? I mean.. if I’m going to buy something for aesthetics.. i want to be able to see it. anyways, that is my suggestion

Maybe its just my eyes, but since the update, all my maps are now transparent. I put the game at lowest quality and its still doing it. It cant be my graphics card since it was perfect before Lost Shores update (660ti) so what gives?

Edit: It mostly happens when I move the camera at mid angle.

So I am kind of this Title hound ankittenep deleting my characters for the survivor title. I have heard that this title is like in GW1 that you can achieve it after you die. Can anyone clarify this information or give me a bit of insight on this?

I mean really, was Anet lazy and just didn’t put enough though into the game play?

Basically its this: Once you beat the Subject alpha (not once, but twice) he does ANOTHER return stronger, more kitten than usual. I wish I could say that this was fun, but Anet.. are you trying to make people not play this game?

It is just a bad game engineering and design. But I will just post the main concerns:

1: NOT a fun dungeon to do since basically, you will die and brake your armor so much, the profit margin is actually a negative.

2: The crystals are just stupid. The mechanics is this; Once you get hit, you are dead. It takes too long for a teammate to break it and you are unable to do anything for 30+ seconds.

3: Subject Alpha is the boss in EVERY single path. Are you even trying. This is why my guild and friend will never play CoE. We actually have stated that we will only do this after a Nerf or change has been made.

4: There should DEFINITELY be more chest in this. I mean, so many bosses and crap yet still no chest? Please fix this asap!

5: Dodging the AoE doesn’t help and there is no way to know if you will be crystallized or not. My ele was just slammed into a crystal and the AoE insta-killed me. NOT cool.

6: The weapons and armor for these tokens totally suck. Make us want to play this please.

If anyone else has anything other to add, please do so.

We have been trying to finish killing Zhaitan, however Zojja will not do anything. we do not want to restart it (since we all hate this stupid dungeon on Story Mode) but wave after wave, the Asuran Genius is having a bit of a brain fart.

Can some dev say this is not a bug and working as intended or is Zojja getting lazy?

We are not trying to be the biggest guild out there. We do not want you to feel like a number. we are small and intend to stay that way. We want to make friends and have fun while doing it!

And this is my bad boy and his full Mad king Set. I think the med armor for this set was awesome so i decided to place it on my char instead of my female Norn. cuz i love my Engy!!!!!

yea, it has the same armor style as some other armor sets. If you want to see them all, PM Contriver Sharptool and i will ping u all the sets. Dont ask, I farmed them for countless hours!

its an Exotic set.. only good on med armor. The Heavy set is horrible an dthe light set is meh

I got it on my lvl 2. i had a group of guildies help me and well, we all have it. Would have probably help u if you were in a small tight guild as the 1 im in now. None of the other big guilds i was in helped me at all and i felt like i was just a number there. Anyways, i agree.

Making this acct bound would be frikken awesome due to the aesthetics. ANY caster w/o 1 would just simple be blanch.

I must admit, Although i did complete everything.. no matter how much i deny it… MAN this was an awesome frikken event. I never had so much fun playing in an MMO ever before. Props to all them devs.

side note: Can we see a less bugged event in the future? I mean, i had fun and all, but why was it like an entire day that the Mad king Realm was blocked? Anyways, less bugs in future events and many many many thanks. I actually didn’t eat my dinner twice due to this event (and trust me my wife was pissed!)

no, after the event, the holloween recipes you discovered via Recipe ONLY will be the ones that will stay. Mystic forge will not allow you to make them once the event is over.

I am sick and tired of Gate of Madness having this event bugged. Is there any server where its up?

Can any Anet rep fix to where these doors will spawn? it has been stucked at the same point for 3 hours now -_-

I need some clarification. I have been in Queensdale for 2 hours for this one NPC to get up so we can do the missions to open the hunted doors, but he is just stuck.

Is there a reason why he has been stuck or has Anet dropped the ball?

Just wanted to show you all how the armor looks like on a char and human. My main is a charr and I only have 3 characters but I farmed them on the Mad king Dungeon ( all boots received from Puzzle) so it is doable!

as for GW1 players, i been playing since GW1 beta… its going to be like the Wintergreen weapons bra. People are going to sell at high with little to no demand. my recommendation: Sell it now. Prices are going to drop soon after. This isnt like GW1 so dont expect people to pay alot of gold for a stupid skin like if they were mini pets. i got 3 off of 10 chests so i made a pretty good profit.
