Would that mean that the AoE part of the sigil is removed? Or would it affect however many people get hit by the next attack? The first option is a huge nerf, the second is very gimmicky and RNG-based.

It probably should be an AoE effect caused at 240 range from the target of your attack that hits 5 targets.

As seen in title, in BWE 1+2 it was much, much better. The HoT experience is worsened after the patch.

I find all servers to have same latency for me. They’re all just the same.
Pick the one with people you know.
If you haven’t got any friends playing guild wars 2 (don’t worry, you’ll make them) choose some high-populated server like Desolation [EU].

Just salvage only savage items and whites. Maybe blue items too (check in box).

As for easier explaination:
Role-playing is getting into a character role. You act like your character would do.
You are no longer acting like a player, you are this character.
You talk like this, use emotes to show emotions or states (like sit, sleep or ANY action via /e emote).

If you are from US you have propably heard of Dungeons&Dragons. If you are from European country then maybe Dungeon&Dragons, Warhammer Roleplay, Call of Cthulhu or some other pen n’ paper role-playing game.

It’s exactly the same, just that you role-play in game using chat and emotes instead of talking to friends in pen n’ paper rpg.

I found a great source of information for you. I used it back when I started to role-play in World of Wacraft. Whole “The RP Survival Guide” has nothing to do with WoW so it applies to GW2 too (and any other MMO).

For ascended gear. Because stats matter in PvE.

But in PvP you have max-level gear already.

Nope. The thing is – many of us grinded (even if not much) to get BiS items. They’ve run dungeons just for this, spent 40 gold to get full set of Divinity’s runes etc.

Now they need to get 40(+) gold again to get runes again.

First setup will run the game just fine. If you want better performance switch i5-3470 to i5-3570k and overclock it (it’s really easy novadays – no harm to your comp!).
Second setup is great and it’ll run at steady 60fps on highest settings.

More advices (not performance wise):
-Pick better speakers. The ones you’ve chosen are bad.
-Remove “Microsoft OEM Wired Desktop 400” and buy some gaming mouse and keyboard. May not seem great, but you’ll thank me after doing that.
I recommend Razer Naga (mice) + Razer Blackwidow (keyboard). Steelseries peripherals are great too, Sensei and some keyboard from them.
-I’m not sure but didn’t you order two towers?

So lets count!
Good:
1. New map for Paid tournaments (doesn’t matter for 99% players)
2. New achievement system with new rewards
3. Guesting
4. “Other improvements” (they better be good!)
5. Quaggan Backpack (if you Anet want to hold players using gemstore items…good luck & have fun)

Bad:
1. Ascended gear
2. Guesting (for many players it’s a very bad feature, as it kills free transfers)
3. No fix for dying sPvP
4. No fix for empty zones (mostly mid-lvl ones)

The Quaggan Backpack seems to make the update be more good than bad one.
For me, the new map is not comparable to ascaended gear, but i counted them on same level.

For most people the new system is better than the old one.
Not for me.
I usually play a week of pretty hardcore WvW (on Gunnar’s Hold), then transfer to Tarnished Coast for a week to RP.
No more.
Now I won’t be able to do that. I’ll just leave WvW, as for me it’s less important and fun.
I’ve been hoping, since the headstart, for a guesting system. To WvW on Gunnar’s Hold and RP on Tarnished Coast.

Yeah, and it’s easy to hold someone in downed state. Especially rangers. A few days ago one of my team members held ranger downed for about 3 minutes – his pet was rezzing him and my team member was damaging him.

Most importantly if you kill the pet it will stop rezing you. The fact that your opponents didn’t target the source of your healing is laughable.

It’s on a long cooldown though, and one simple interrupt/stun/sink/pushback/pull would have been enough to stop it.

That Guardian was an idiot not very smart if he didn’t even use his Weight of Justice on you. Apparently the Mesmer forgot he had Slipstream/Vortex/Illusion of Drowning. And the Warrior didn’t bother with Harpoon Pull.

So you deserved to live as your opponents were too stupid incapable to use their underwater abilities properly.

It’s easy to believe that something seems OP when you’re surrounded by idiots people that don’t even know how to use their own abilities to counter it. It’s like watching HS-spamming bandwagon thieves all day.

They used weight of justice/illusion but i was on the ground.

Dont take me wrong. I play ranger a lot in SPvP.
I want to know if skill #3 downed underwater (the one that makes your pet rez you) is bugged. If not, it’s clearly op.
Recently, I was fighting at ruins underwater. There were guardian, warrior and mesmer trying to kill me. They downed me pretty fast (well, there were 3 of them…), but i survived long enough to use downed #3 skill. My pet (already dead) started to rez me. No matter how hard they tried to kill me, they couldn’t. The pet was ressing me too fast (not sure how as he was dead). This went on for about one minute. Pet ressed me and my allies came so we killed our enemies.

The point is…HOW THE HELL CAN ONE SKILL STOP ME FROM BEING KILLED BY THREE PEOPLE?

Guild Wars 2 seems to be using similar code to safari (from what i saw). Same rendering issues.
Also, launching safari when Black Lion Company is open (and the other way around) SOMETIMES kills (replaces?) first process. Processes of both of these are same named…maybe it confuses windows.

Checking combat log, especially after 1 minute (or even 5+ minutes for elites multiple use) fight as condition-base character is booooring. And Master Of Damage should have option to show you:
1. DPS
2. Highest damage dealt within 5 seconds (to check burst).
3. Anything other that Anet could think of.

Would definietely yield some cash to Anet…and i see no cons it it.

The truth is: racial elites SHOULDN’T be better than profession ones, but for me, playing mesmer, they are.

We’ve known about an Guild Wars 2 mobile app for Android/iOS for a long time. It hasn’t been relased yet but i hope it will be soon.

There is one more OS coming to market. It’s Windows Phone 8. I [and propably many other people here] would love to buy phone with it…but only if the GW2 App will work on it.

This Operating System may be commonly used by Guild Wars 2 players. Why?
Because it’s innovative, new. Just as Guild Wars 2. It can be compared to it, while Android could be compared to World of Warcraft. So Guild Wars 2 players may buy many phones with WP8. Then…why shouldn’t we have mobile application on them?
