The second half of this story quest bugged out for me after I revived the ogre within the brand. When escorting him to safety the devourer popped up right as the cut scene appeared. This lead to the ogre and forgal dying while I was watching the cut scene. After I killed the devourer the quest ended and I received my reward, however I was unable to choose which option to take, either helping the beast master or helping the ogres build up their fortification. It automatically picked an option for me.

I would like to suggest making the Bifrost’s footprint animations last as long as the other legendaries that have footprints. Currently the Bifrost’s only last a few steps where as the others have a long trail of their footprints.

Does anyone know if the light tier 3 armor glows at all?

Great job on the pictures, I must say I liked every single one. The sylvari one is my favorite, I like the idea of plant armor and agree the current designs are a bit lacking. I however must agree with everyone else that it needs to be obtainable with something other then gold or else I’ma be broke if any of your designs come into the game because I would need to buy them.

I too very much want that to be changed. It feels like a chore to edit the whole thing when I just want to change one tiny thing.

For a long time I thought Mimic was bugged, but the text reads “Absorb bla bla” = you yourself, it doesn’t say “Mimic absorbs….”, which makes the skill kinda bad, which is a shame, because the mechanic is very cool.

I don’t find it “bad”, you take 1 hit then you block everything else. And if you activate it early enough you wont even take the first hit. You just wont be able to use echo if you don’t take damage.

After some testing in Southsun I did notice that “Echo” wouldn’t work if I didn’t get hit by an ability (take damage). Wish they would update the tooltip then. I have it timed now so I can hit mimic and not take any damage (hitting it really early), so then echo wouldn’t make a copy. Guess I’ll just have to get my timing down a bit better.

When Using mimic I will sometimes take damage from the first attack from ranged. Also “Echo” will sometimes not copy the ability and send it back like the tool tips says it will. Most of the time it does nothing at all.

Has anyone else experienced this issue?

Does the new makeover kit and hair change kit have a chance to drop from the black lion chests or from completing the daily? It is in the same category as the other items that can drop from the daily.

Desperately need more plant armor, there is jut not enough for a whole race made out of plants. Especially better looking heavy armor plant armor.
Would like some flower petal like hair or vine like hair style like the old Caithe used to have.

100% agree, I think the spears are very cool and would love to see them on land. Or even a new profession that can only use them on land.

I’ve noticed that some of the Sylvari cultural armor glows when it becomes dark, much like the Sylvari do themselves. The only issue the glow is completely different from what my Sylvari skin color glow is. Is there anyway the designers could make the glow default and match the glow we picked at character creation or at least add another color option so we can change the glow our selves.

I thought this event was amazing. Thank you Anet for this great event with an epic battle between man kind and a new threat. Would love to see more events like this. It felt like an actual battlefield fighting the karka with the environment and people dying all over the place. My favorite part was when we were assaulting the karka nest in the beginning, when we would push the karka further in then they’d push us out, felt like they were really fighting for their lives.

Oh wow it is the elite signet. I didn’t notice it when running around the country side when I first got it only noticed when I zoned into Lion’s Arch. Sorry everyone.

So after the recent patch I zoned into Lions Arch and noticed particles were coming off of my character. It just floats off of my character, it was hard to get a decent picture of it when standing still so had to do it when moving.

I think a good way to go about changing the precursor drop rate is to make it so the achievement points you get for doing things increase the chances of getting a precursor. Like every 100 achievement points get you 1% more likely for a precursor to drop from an enemy or from the forge. That way it stays RNG to a point but from doing other things in the game you are more likely to get one.

The problem is there are people out there who have 5000 up to even 10000 achievement points.

And as we get more content that will inevitably bring with it more achievements, too.

Maybe make the precursor account bound also so you would just have a higher chance to get one but you wouldn’t gain any money from it.

Was thinking about some cool weapons that weren’t in the game or was wishing some weapons could be used else where when I thought of this. It would be cool if eventually Arena net implemented a either a new profession that used flails as a weapon or just implemented the weapon itself, I’ve never seen them used in any other game I ever played and think they could be a really cool weapon to use.

I also thought it would be sweet if we could be able to use spears above water as well. Some of the spear attacks underwater have some very amazing animations and would be cool to have the option to use them on land as well.

Agreed, there has to be a way to take out that feeling of almost hopelessness of getting a precursor weapon from the forge. Right now that is the thing that it really bumming me out of getting the legendary. I don’t have all the pieces for it yet but everything else seems decently doable to get except the precursor.
