The living story has thus far had a very shallow and uninteresting plot. It’s time to do something meaningful.
Lets continue the personal story, even in the form of living story, the adventure of our characters, preferably more in the way it was done in Prophecies (we are the Chosen).
It’s time to kill another Elder dragon. You can’t expect this game to have an infinite life span. Just dragging on and stretching this pretty pointless living story plot instead of focusing on matters that are actually important is very uninteresting. Is it because you are afraid that you’ll run out of lore material? Because I doubt that’s even possible, no matter how big lore topics were dealt with in the updates. There’s a huge amounts of lose ends in the lore that we want to know more about!
And then the most wanted thing: lets explore more of Tyria (the world)! We want to get to the zones that we were allowed to go to in GW1 but haven’t been able to reach in GW2. There’s a whole world out there and we want to see it, every nook and cranny! Maguuma Jungle, Crystal Desert, Ring of Fire islands, Cantha, Elona, Far Shiverpeaks, Charr Homelands… Just learning more of the current world and getting to compare it with the world of the past is what a lot of us are looking forward to the most.
The tier 3 medium armor now looks just the same during the night and day. How boring. Some colors become slightly brighter at night, but the difference between glowing and not glowing was a lot more noticeable before.
I’m so upset about this. I made a sylvari thief and got the armor because I loved the little pouches on the waist, and how they were turquoise and orange. Now they both get dyed the same color as the leaves on the chest, which ends up making the pouches look just black lumps.
Why would you do this to existing armor sets? Players have bought the armor because they like it the way it is.
I’ve always wondered, why the feature isn’t in the game. Wouldn’t imagine it to be hard to add one more column to the “Roster” tab and get the last login time/“Online” text displayed there. Unless the table consists of some very low quality code that isn’t easily extensible. And a simple query like that to get the data out of the database can’t possibly have a huge impact on the performance.
No luck there unfortunately, thanks though. I’m not sure if you noticed, but all those shoes have the side toes sticking out, so the shoes do not cover all of the toes. I’ve been through some armor galleries and haven’t seen them, so I guess those shoes are not among the most popular armor sets.

Hi everyone,
I noticed these really cute shoes on the asura thief in character creation. They seem to be one of the very few shoes that hide the toes. I’ve been googling around, trying to find out what they are called, but to no avail. Does anyone here know what those shoes are called and where I could obtain them? Thanks!
Hello,
I’d like to see the forum search improved. Could you add a quoting filter to the search algorithm so that words that are given within quotes are treated as a sentence and the search wouldn’t then look for the separate words but only the sentence?
Thank you!

I think especially the order titles would be absolutely brilliant and would add more fun for the role playing side of the game. I’m surprised they aren’t in the game already!
By the way, I think it’d be “Lightbringer” for Order of Whispers instead of Agent.
The limit of 10 messages only applies to mails sent by other players (envelope icon); the mails sent by NPCs (e.g. renown heart completion messages) do not count.
Are you certain that the studied disciplines are currently activated? You can’t craft items of a discipline if you have deactivated it while taking some other discipline in its place.
Considering that Windows (the most widely used operating system by far) and many other pieces of software that follow its example, have “Yes” button before “No” button, the GW2 looting dialog is non-intuitive and badly designed from the usability point of view.
“Delete all” is equivalent to “NO, I do not want the items” while “Take all” is equivalent to “YES, I do want the items”. A lot of people have gotten so used to Yes button being before No/Cancel button, that they automatically press the first button when they want to say “Yes”. Because of this accidents like these happen and could be avoided if the “Take all” button was placed before “Delete all” button. Saying that “you should read the question more carefully” does not make a piece of software better quality or enhance the user experience.
This kind of thing should have been realized a lot earlier though, because if the order of buttons was changed now, people who have got used to the “Take all” being the latter button are likely to make the exact same mistake, which would lead to a lot of complaints regarding the change.
The best way to to handle these situations would be to develop a way to restore items/characters, and a way to confirm that the player is actually entitled to them. Being able to save someone’s day by restoring a missing item or a character would have a very positive impact on the image people have of ArenaNet’s customer service and on how much ArenaNet cares about the player satisfaction – and naturally this kind of a thing has a positive impact on the sales also. The reason why this feature has not been implemented yet could be because they have not had time, or the data required by this kind of a feature (records of items, logs of events occurred on game accounts) would require more disk space than they can afford considering the huge amount of Guild Wars 2 players.

Today I went to do the renown heart called “Assist Arias in maintaining his garden” in Caledon Forest. I’ve done the heart multiple times in the past and instantly noticed that the camera position was now completely different compared to how it has been previously, and also extremely akward, which took a lot of fun out of completing the heart. It looks as if the camera was hanging very high in the air, barely letting me see the treant unless I tilt the camera towards the ground. I tried to fix it by re-entering the treant form, but to no avail.
Also, players do not rally if first downed in treant form and then kill enemies in their normal form in the downed state. Found this out while writing this post
Edit: This probably has something to do with the increased field of vision change.

I’m also experiencing the same issue. Restarting the client did not magically fix it, and I had deleted the old character a couple of days earlier.
