Was not purchased. Staying on SBI. No longer commanding, nor running guild raids. Focusing on sandbox(what I crave) mmo for now, slight PvE. I couldnt imagine playing on any other server.

Not transferring. Game mode is dead, everyone knows it. Arena Net has failed at improving WvW, they were given plenty of time, but refused to do so. Instead they implemented changes testers hated, and other mechanics people were not crazy about. WvW participation is at an all time low, most of the people returning for expansion have already left. Was fun, had a ton of good fights, but focus in this game is clearly not what many of us had wanted.

SBI will probably pull 4th. FA has no reason to be in silver, they have blobs non stop and keep everything paper. When primetime rolls around we can usually defend some of our stuff but that’s about it. IoJ has better all around coverage then SBI, weaker NA and that’s our strong point.

FA essentially was handed another free tournament win. HoD has a ton of people now and will likely place second. Third will probably go to Yaks or IoJ. FA/HoD population spread in Silver would make for a very balanced league. Sad cant happen like that.

If SUPR had not left SBI would have been fine. Olaf leaving had no where near the impact as losing them, and no disrespect to Fiddle, but SUPR would put the fear of god into DB SEA, and would constantly spawn camp them. We really don’t need that much, nor do I think most of us want much. Need small OCX to help out our new friends we got from TC, need a solid SEA guild and one more GvG type guild to help with KWBH/DETH.

Most of us want to be in tier 3, heck most of us are ok with being the #9 server. Its gives us fights within reason. With SoR dead, its just too much for us to handle right now. The stacking will continue to ruin WvW, and eventually we’ll be down to 3 servers with people and the rest like AR.

Honestly we could do with some transfers, but not many. We direly need 1-2 wvw focused small guilds (10-20) to be able stay around the T3-4 mark. Yeah, we may get 40 man blobs on reset night, but other then that its usually pretty decent. We’re fighting uphill at the moment but despite that, we keep showing up.

Thanks for the fights in EBG tonight Mag, we had a whole bunch of fun.

Good fights in SM, did what we could, but eventually the guild groups were just too much for us to handle. Didn’t get nearly as many kills but we did well considering. Check you cats tomorrow night.

Just want to say thanks to Pyro from Mags, SE/ONE from Yaks, had a ton of fun on EBG reset, we had a bunch of good fights, wipes both ways, and you did a great job considering the militia zerg ball we had running. Was nice getting some long fights our people really need the experience and it went better then I thought it would. I was trying to avoid fighting by SM later on because of the buffs. Hopefully we can get some more fights during the week, however, im sure our numbers will dwindle by then. Thanks again!

Heh, we were really going to push on that FA blob outside of their keep in EB, however not many remained after your first push. Have a lot of fun fighting ING primetime, was same way last matchup. Hope to see you guys tonight.

Nobody else in silver aside from FA could have handled the 2v1. FA might have the off peak coverage to make up the points, SBI certainly does not and has not since we lost most of ours during exodus. Being on the defensive the entire week from the 2v1 kept a lot of the fair weathers out. It also led to a lot of us who couldn’t get in previously due to queue’s play together again. This resulted in getting very good fights in this past couple of days. Few things I have notice is how dedicated the havoc group are on both YB and EB, you all did a great job. Also the presence of Void and ONE guild blobs shows something SBI doesn’t really have, and that’s a large WvW focused guild presence.

It wasn’t our first loss, wont be our last. I will say I can certainly look forward to another matchup with you guys after medal rounds. Lastly, bad behavior can plague any match up, lets not make it the defining point of this week. Sound strategy and team work prevailed. Good luck next week.

Seeing a lot of dancing and emoting from SBI as you faceroll our keeps which contain about 10 people trying to defend it. Stay classy guys.

Here’s an idea, if you want a challenge (you seem like you don’t) go and knock on Ebays keep for a change. They’re hardly doing any better than we are, but #1 picking on #3 EVERY SINGLE DAY is pretty lame for someone with as huge win margin as you have right now.

Is it really reasonable to expect different? Not of SBI, but of anyone in this situation including NSP. I see plenty of NSP people in a zerg doing the same emote crap when the simple fact is there terrible players and have no room to be mocking anyone. Your not complaining about SBI or WvW so much as your complaining about the nature of open world pvp. There will be sads, there will be mads and there will be bads. Doesn’t matter the server.

I agree there are bads mads and sads in every server. The reason I’m bring it up though is that SBI in particular seem to have a much higher ratio than normal. I know you prefer to believe that every server is the same, but it’s not so. I wouldn’t bring it up unless it seemed particularly unusual to me.

I haven’t seen a single encounter yet where someone from SBI isn’t laughing or dancing or otherwise acting like an idiot when the odds are stacked highly in their favour.

I can understand emoting for when tempers are running hot, but SBI don’t even break a sweat destroying us and still feel like they need to humilate us more?

Their server has a bad reputation for a reason.

I am pretty sure 80% of the people out there now in dub dub are just the typical freeloading bandwagon fair weathers SBI has been plagued with led by our massive union of Lions Arch Commanders. Not to worry, I am sure we’ll be dealt a set back and maybe things will settle down. This medal league was a big mistake.

A portion of us wanted gold, but to earn it with all the people we had playing in prior weeks. They mostly ran and hid, probably to no ones surprise. A good portion want silver, and they are being punished by a select few. Those players will most likely transfer to SoR or another tier one server, while SBI will suffer a second exodus and probably never recover. We dont belong in gold, we didnt earn it, and not ready for it. If it happens that we get in gold because of this crap thats going on a lot of innocent people will be in for a really tough time.

SoR, you will get a better fight out of Mag then you will out of SBI. I know your trying to help all our SoR fluffers that we have hanging in SBI, but I think the majority of us wanted to earn getting into gold, not given to us.

I’d almost argue that SBI is more 2.5 then tier 2. I honestly think a match up that had been SoS/Mag/SBI would have been different then one with a non existant FA. I think we did do a good job of keeping the PPT in our favor but most fights went in favor of mag.

Its really unfortunate that we basically have one balanced bracket and that being tier 1. TC is in its own, and then maybe Mag/SoS pretty equal.

You happen to see a guild name so I can do some digging?

On a side note, SBI’s WvW population is made up almost (70%) of militia or pvx guilds. They are a fickle bunch to say the least. Those recent guild transfers were sorely needed on server with such a huge hole of WvW guilds. While most servers can boast at the least 1-2 large WvW guilds we havent been able to do so since LoD/SiN/UDL left for Darkfall. Some grass root guilds like TE and ML have popped up and have really done a great job, but for the most part we had a spot for some. We managed to pull 1 large guild, DDLG, and a few smaller ones. The end result was the sudden surge of LA COMMANDERS trekking out of the safe confines of the city and into the mists. Thus, bloating via the fair weathers.

You need only guest now to SBI to see where they are. Catch you guys on the field in a bit. We aint all rolling over.

3.5 days in and guess who is still showing up to fight for SBI, and guess who isnt? SoR’s blob and coverage is just rediculous. I have blown so much siege just trying to get a foot hold every morning just to try and get motivation.

For the record, I would still rather have the tougher match then the easier one. Hence why so many of us stayed with SBI even after the mass exodus to the other Tier 1 beasts. I assume it will only get worse when our bloated with fair weather server attracts more of the same when/if we dominate Silver.

I’m not sure where this all went so wrong, I was pretty content in the T 3-5 range with one map queued daily. Anyhow, last spot will not be going to us barring a miracle. As far as tactics and coverage is concerned, we dont deserve it, so thats a good thing.

The one thing that amazed me is the vitriol aimed at a server made up primarily of militia who stayed behind from Exodus. I dont recall recruitment thread or people trying to poach others the way DB or Kaening did. I kind of felt, and still do, that we got the short end of the stick along with HoD.

Hope you make it Mag, though feel for any server that has to match up with that tier one mega blob.

Yeah, we’re getting blobbed pretty hard. I think we’ve got maybe 30 piled onto EB now, its pretty easy to tell its not your normal SoR zerg.

First, I wanna say hi to all the old server mates over on SoR. Have not seen you since that friday after reset of exodus versus SoR and TC. This time around, we can queue a map so its been a bit better. Secondly, I and a whole lot of us have missed fighting SoS. Those SoS/CD match ups in tier 4 were a whole lot of fun. Its been an interesting weekend and I honestly didnt expect to tick over 50 on average, but we have managed ok.

We needed to have one of these weeks in the worst way, I thought it would have been versus Mag/Fa but it did not, and Mag started to let up the pressure especially with farming players about halfway through the week. It is unfortunate that with the league changes we will either be the door rug for gold or the karma train for silver. I hope we can continue to improve and find out who really wants to stick around.

PS, stay away from the grub, or there will be trouble.

We were screwed by transfers once and survived, I am sure if it happens, we will again. The general consensus was we wanted to stay in the mid tier’s, that changed, we cant change it now. Not all of us wanted our transfers back, especially me and a whole slew of the WvW’ers that showed up every day for the T1->T5 fall . Some did, and thats their opinion. Thats not SBI’s as a whole.

If we make it to gold, we do, if we dont then we dont. If we continue to rise, we continue to rise, if we fall, well you get it. I am 99% sure those people who stayed after the first exodus are going to remain if it happens again. There is no question we will get decimated in gold, and I like to think it will help us all improve.

Im still glad we had this match up, even with you trolling Mags, I always had a soft spot for you guys, and FA has been pretty awesome as well. It has been a pretty great match, and its helped already. Going from Sat/Sun/Mon of getting curb stomped in EB to wiping both zergs past 2 nights means we’re doing somewhat better. Its been fun.

Its next to impossible to fight Mag’s EB group which consists of 2-3 good sized guild groups with what we have participating. I assume it will be even more difficult tomorrow after the points are even or we are behind. Tonight I would say I hardly knew half the players, and most of the new players imploded in seconds. I can only imagine what it must look like from the enemy sideline. Initial pushes usually resulted in immediate retreat. Not looking forward to the rest of the week.

Nor will losing 75% of the fights.

Tough fights out there today, we did what we could but clearly took a beating. We clearly showed our limited experience in the more competitive tiers and some rust for some of our older SBI’s. Participation was a shadow of what it was on reset night, I am guessing some of the wipes are already trimming the fat so to speak. I seriously hope we can keep our thirds in EB and our BL for the week, we’ll see.

Had to utilize arrow carts today in some open field engagements to compensate for gear/spec differences of the militia. We have a good portion of the people running with not so great set ups. Cant really just roll over every fight. All things considered though we did manage to pull off a few good traps and pushes. Our zerg tail is legendary, would love to get that fixed. Good fights overall.

Where is all this self back patting coming from? I think the majority have stated we have had a recent influx of transfers and almost no challenge at all. Reset night we always have a strong showing, last night we did not. Weekly, probably even less. Everyone knows we dont have the horses for gold. I and probably most of us just wanted to keep pace with Mag and FA. We’re doing so now and its possible we might be able to get second. Just going to have to see how our off peak goes. Keep up the fights, so far been good out there.

I dont think any of us wanted to be back in tier 1 let alone tier 2. The most fun I have had since the exodus was those pretty even matchups with SoS and CD. SoS clearly had the upperhand, but I am pretty sure every other week CD and SBI flip flopped. A whole lot of people couldnt deal with being in tier 3, and we fell to tier 5. We had some good matches with BP and DH, and a really fun matchup with a super inflated DB and Mag a few months ago. Other then that its been lopsided blow outs.

I dont think any one at SBI seen this comming, the soar in population or participation. It happened. For the most part, we havent changed. Most of the guilds who transferred here are a blast to play with and are just looking to scrap. Thats what its about. Unfortunately, the rise in ranks/points also brought a whole bunch of the real deal bandwagon types. You know, the kind that say X server is so bad! as they sit in a red circled in front of a keep or choke getting red circled of death to the face or chasing a squirrel.We’re long overdue for an asskicking. I hope it comes sooner then later. Theres no question we arent a server full of pro’s like tier 1 and we could use a thinning of the herd.

I will say no one will take a dive for ranking, so wherever we end up, well endure.

Wanted to say hi to Ill and Pyro and the rest of Maguuma, been a long time since we seen each other. Great fights, wiped us a bunch, was fun. Hope we can keep at it all week.

I really hope that both BP/YB initially didnt want to tank ratings, considering past match ups with the constant kitten talk from BP. Really wanted to drum up on you guys. I cant fathom why anyone would want to stay in the silver league and be the TC equivalent of T2 to the silver league. Anyhow, I remember trying to hold RQ versus 70-80 SoR zergs with maybe 10-15, didnt work out too well. Still, these are the downsides of a target rich enviroment. I dont think anyone on SBI has delusions about our capability, but there no question our numbers and overall skill level have increased with the arrival of all our new friends. We really couldnt compete with BP prior. Thanks to DDLG, BAEST, BAGS, ABYS and KWBH.

On the flip side my hat goes off to DR and KREW. Though didnt see much of KREW this match up, they were a constant pain in the kitten , and DR is basically a highly mobile invisible blob, I cant tell you how many times I lost sight of you guys. I really hope BP falls into the number 12 spot and gets lumped in with us, but only time will tell.

You waited all week to enter EB on the night when new content was released with your 30 man guild group plus 50 other people, push through all the paper doors and keeps, crush the 30-40 out manned SBI, hell prolly even less Ehmry, and then come to the forums and proclaim victory?

Where were you guys friday, saturday and sunday night when we basically did what we wanted to in EB? Matter of fact didnt you wait till a tuesday or thursday of a content release week to do the same thing in a prior match up?

With this said I am almost sure to see you out in EB next match up on reset?

Yeah, those Krew tend to stand out from the rest pretty often. Numerous times in the past match up we had them beating down a lot of our off peak Eternal smaller zergs, with way less people. Every post has been constructive, or to the point. Fact is more guilds in gaming today need to act like that, and less like the million GOON knock offs with the trolling. Its overdone and cliche. Cant imagine why they stick with BP though, gotta be hard having people running the other way all the time. Good on you, Krew, will zerg you hard with the train one of these nights. From the looks of things, it going to get pretty quiet the rest of the week.

Really have grown found of EB, very good server, very balanced for us. CD was overpowering for us, but aside from that they were a class act. BP, however, I personally did not miss at all. Time after time of running to siege and running away from engagements. I know, you play for points and siege. Still makes for a boring match. Will be interesting to see who falls where after the weekend, I know we have just recently lost another guild and quite a few players, how about BP? Still same population pretty much?

These past two weeks have been pretty good. In my opinion the most balanced matchup SBI has been in since Tier 1. If Kain had a little bigger US prime time presence and a little less overnight it would be one of those anyone can win any week sort of matchups.

Have been good fights, little crying and almost no zooming/flying complaints. Wont be upset if we get you guys three weeks in a row, but sure we’re due for a top 6 tor 7 face stomping soon.

The only server to be hit harder then us was HoD, whom most I believe transferred to SoS and were an intricate cog in that. Seems HoD lost all their guilds and most of their pug militia, We lost all of our guilds and some of our pug militia. Until we get an established WvW guild playing here, its going to be more of the same. I just dont want to fall too far, the lower tier servers will be kind of boring, I love being able to log on prime time and farm peoples faces ;/

I am pretty sure we are not playing for any of those spots. The rankings/PPT is out of our hands and has been since exodus. I cant speak for everyone, but for the most part we just want to fight. Some prefer the siege, some prefer open field or GvG. Its pretty obvious we lack the manpower/coverage to do anything else.

Had a bunch of good fights in EB tonight, was fun. Lets do it again tomorrow night.

I logged on and got the 1,500 achievement chest having gotten the 2,000 one yesterday at reset. I am pretty sure I should have gotten the 2,500 point one, if every reset is indeed a new chest. I will submit a bug report but is anyone else having this problem?

Good fights tonight. CD you really on top of stuff with your red rings of death. Pretty sure we only won most of those fights by luck or sheer brute will. We should have lost 90% of them, to be honest. Getting harder and harder to face organized enemies with 15-20 man guild groups and coordinated AoE. CD has definetly grown and improved a whole bunch. Wish we could bring more to the table, however, its unlikely unless server consolidation.

Yeah, its been brutal Yulo. We sat out manned basically all day in 4 maps, blinking on and off in EB. Tried to go head up with some of the SoS zergs, but it was impossible. They clearly have a much larger player base then last time. CD, also seems to have grown, they had a HUGE presence on our BL, I dont think we were able to field 35-40 people.
Might have to just consolidate to one map and see if we can squeeze a couple of kills out of the zergs. Oh well, just gotta take your beatings.

Clearly shouldnt be in this match up. We really cant keep weathering endless weeks of this. Its either a match upwith 2 servers and one no show or us and 2 servers vastly superior. Basically bleeding all our players away.

Aeros, your obsession with us is borderline mental. You really didnt do anything amazing. You beat us with better coverage and organization. 1 of 2 of those things we could control but still wouldnt affect the outcome.

Due to the amount of accusations flying about between SBI and BP, I will decree a solution. Clearly, we need to petition to have ANET remove entry into all towers and structures for the remainder of the week, AND temporary removal of all doors/gates in Stonemist. Then we can happily play (kick the kitten) out of each other for the remainder of the week.

Anyone who needs to exploit to get more points in a meaningless score is, well, pathetic. REGARDLESS of server. Seriously though, lock all towers pls anet 0;>

Its going to take awhile for AR to settle down. It took us weeks of falling and didnt get stable till Devona’s/Crystal match up. We logged on one night out of being out manned on maps for months and had a queue. It just happens. I really hope they can find a decent spot and have their remaining WvW participants get some rest.
