I just dont get why you care about the leader-board >.> all it shows is that you are crazy and do every single daily and monthly there is, nothing more…
Just make a screen-shot of your position and stop grinding, thats what I did and i can tell you i have much more fun since then o.O
Caping the dailies makes no difference it would still be a completely irrelevant leaderboard and still only people who log in every single day would be able to be there, either dailies shouldnt count at all or all dailies count, but searching for some middle ground wont help.
As someone who tries to get all the dailies like OP, I would much enjoy a cap on daily achievements. It means I would no longer need to do potentially time-consuming achievements like WvW achievements.
The funny thing is that making a cap will make it easier for more casual players to be competitive in achievements. Yet people are attacking OP and saying he’s just trying to maintain his lead. Under the current system hardcore achievement hunters like OP and myself are making our leads on other players higher by doing more dailies.

Just… stop grinding the dailies, I was somewhere between top 300 and 400, then I realized how stupid this is and that from some point its all about grinding dailies, so I stopped farming the points, within two weeks I naturally dropped under top 1000 but who cares, play for fun not for grind.
At least if the grind would result in some real accomplishment like GWAMM but GW2 achievements are -apart of a few exceptions- just dumb.
Have you noticed that people prefer to show off their GW1 achievements even if they got like 8 or 9k points, they still choose to display a G1 title. Its because G2 acheivements are so casual and dumbed down that even people who have them all choose not to display them. >.<
And I’m not hating on GW2 i actually enjoy this game most of the time, but did I ever feel challenged or did I ever feel some kind of accomplishment in this game? nope… well maybe apart of Mad King Tower that thing was crazy

Huh? I must say I havent been playing last 2 or 3 months but why would people hate on thiefs? They do about as much dmg as warriors, in some situations they do even more than wars, and their team stealth helps alot when skipping O.o
Did they nerf them or something? Srsly dunno why someone would hate them.
I disliked Necros, Engineers and Rangers. (Ranger was my main. But for dungeons War is much better)
Can you fix this please? Im sure it was reported already several times, but now with the leader-board introduction its more annoying than ever, why can some ppl get 200 points in this achievements and others are prevented from getting it?
When you create competitive leader-boards, something like this shouldnt be ignored.

Its sad, my main is also ranger, but I play him less and less.
Every time we go a dung I just grab warri since he has 2-3x more dmg than ranger and we just want to rush it fast since most dungs are rlly foolproof. (Plus its much more relaxing playing war and not have to pay attention 24/7 to what your stupid pet is doing)
Only time I play ranger now is when I want to do some dung twice on one day, then the second time I take ranger, but its significantly slower.
Guild Mission is not a dungeon, it will be some open-world event…
I’d love some 8-12ppl dungeons, would be rlly amazing.
While its nice having 5man dungeons too, in case you dont have enough guildies/friends online at the moment, it doesnt mean that every dungeon has to be 5man

It’s not that classes matter, builds do. You can take 5 necros but 3 of them have to be power necros or some hybrids.
Okay then, I said 5 necros, not 5 condi necros. He can give them whatever build he wants, if he kills destroyer in one cycle i bow and admit the boss health should be buffed. But i doubt he could do it even in 2 cycles….
Meh Simin was just another warriorfest, everyone i know including me just did her 4-1 anyway, nobody cared for sparks.
You ask why would he take 5 condition dealers? Well bcs he complains about doing content too fast while he runs the highest dps combo possible.
Thats like Usain Bolt asking to be shot in the foot before running 100m.
So I recomend him to take 5 condi dealers when he wants content to take longer, but dont force us to roll warriors in every dung.
Arenanet promised that it wont matter what classes you run, yet it does matter(as you said yourself: “2 is the max you should take with the current limitations.”).

If you think he has too low hp, dont run with 3 wars and time warp mesmer ^^ go take 3 necros and engineer instead and i promise you it ll be like “good ol times” => 3 cycles.
Srsly you ppl complain about anything, the boss was so boring before, if you didnt have tw and 2+ wars, now its all about coordination and not so much about the class anymore.
Hrouda (i assume) just did his job, cause the profession balancing team isn’t able to do theirs. So he had to balance the environment instead.
Anyway srsly, you take the almost highest dps combination possible and then complain that it goes too fast? WTF?
TL.DR: Go and do the boss “on one go” with 5 necros or 5 engineers, until then dont complain about content being too fast, when you run so many wars.

That being said, we are always looking at our reward tables. I agree with you that a blue is very unsatisfying of a reward for GL and other instances. Part of our Dungeon work coming down the line is going to involve changing reward tables and whatnot, so please be patient as we work through things as fast as we can.
Please do consider the T6 mats dropping from chests, could be just one random mat per chest or something, but people like me who do mostly just dungs, and dont farm cursed shore.
We rlly get a lot behind with t6 mats, so we then have to buy them tonwise, they only drop in CoE, HotW and Arah and only very rarely. (And yes about 5 mobs can drop them in CoF, but after you changed Maggs door event in p2 they dont drop loot anymore…)

When you have 4 rares salvage 3 and get 0 ectos the last will most likely give you 0 too, while when you salvage and get 1-3 ectos each the last will probably give you at least one ecto too.Do you have some data to back it up? Similarly, can any other player report of a similar lack of luck with clovers?
No, I don’t keep track and can’t be bothered doing any complex tests.
However I do encourage anyone, who goes to forge and gets like 6 tries in row nothing, to stop and try again the next day.
And vice versa, if you getting very lucky and get every second try a clover or so, don’t stop you’re on that lucky streak that you might not catch that soon again.
I did Dreamer like that with 10 clover tries caught a lucky streak, 70 clovers took me like 13/14 10-clover tries.
This is also what I think causes ppl to think anet prefers some accounts over others, while actually they just got a “lucky day” meaning they caught a good sequence of draws.
Yesterday I got 3 cores in CoE, so (following my theory) right after it I went to do 2 TA paths and ofc I got 3 onyx cores and 1 lodestone.
Now you can ofc dismiss all this as luck / unluck, but I’m convinced that this RNG system draws whole sequences not a single drop.

I rlly like your updates on the legendaries, even tho some dont, I find my Dreamer now even more awesome than before :P.
However I’d suggest you add footprints to dreamer too. Rlly almost every mainhand/two-hand legendary has footprints now, why cant Dreamer have them too?…
Other than that keep the good work up, its great that you finally take care of other legendaries than the great-swords.

90% of the groups will just pull them and stand there watching their life bar deplete when it takes half the time to kill them separatly, that’s what I meant.

Plus Kholer is the hardest boss in AC exp imo
lol yeah cause using dodge when Kholer starts to shine is “hard” XD
First off, it only works on P1. Colossus burrows away.
Second, Shae you’re (again :P) completely wrong, -Troll on Kholer- is much faster cause you can meanwhile do traps on detha/burrows on hodgins (only tzark would take too long), while you get 2 bosses down. So no matter your dmg, even if it took you literally 20seconds to kill each of these bosses, 3in1 is still faster.
Lastly yeah i dont mind you fixing the Howling King bug, its nice for a coffee break but not necessary.
Every kittening time wethospu posts a video someone in the comments is always “hey nah it’s warrior this guy couldn’t do anything without his class
DD”. Have you not perhaps thought of the skill required to solo lupicius with any class? I’d like to see you get a warrior and do even remotely close to the same.

there is a good advice: whole team take suicide glass cannon gear(you frankly dont need any defense in HotW..).
Even with 5 glass cannons it will still take ages to kill the bosses, but at least not centuries

While i consider guardian pretty balanced, since his high resistance and nice support for team is balanced through rather low dmg. I dont see any downside on warriors, they excel in everything.

You can still search up the vids on utube, the people who ran it at that time just dps’ed him down. What they did was decrease the regen so even a group with just mediocre damage can dps him down.

Equipping a Legendary is an achievement too, it gives an account medal for pete’s sake. Yet a legendary can be bought of TP, as long as legendaries are trade-able why shouldn’t dungeon slots be trade-able.
I said not everyone who got the title legit way is mad about the slot selling, i rlly dont care if ppl buy it, its their decision. And P4 its just a patience thing anyway, I didnt consider it anymore challenging than the other paths, just longer.

Seems like you’re just mad you don’t get a easy ride because you can’t afford it. If I wanted something bad, I’d pay for it. 15g isn’t a lot.
Pretty lame, buying achievements for something you can’t do. People are mad because it will devalue dm title (though its value is already pretty low).
Speak for yourself haviz. I got my title the legit way, never got involved in any slot buying. Yet I support free market and see nothing wrong in selling slots.
I’d just like to point out, not everyone who buys slot for Arah path is necessarily stupid. There are a lot ppl that make over 5g/hour for those it is actually profitable to buy a slot for Arah p4 for 5g rather than to do the path for 3hrs.
You shouldn’t call a person stupid before you know what his gold income is and what his reasons behind buying a slot in a team are…

but one thing needs a fix. Evolved Husk should drop silver and wonderous bag from chest not from corspe, cause if you do that boss correctly and pull golems on it you mostly wont get reward from corpse at all.
So please move reward to chest at evolved husk…
Whit a DPS team its cake.First time I did it We’ve managed to take it down in less than 2 mins once we’ve learned the mechanic well .So I wouldn’t say its the hardest boss.Get some BS thieves in there you’ll see how fast it goes down.
Sparks are not always reliable and a lot of things can go wrong but theres a lot you can do to minimise that too.So if nothing goes wrong it can be pretty fast.
Finally someone who understands what the problem with this boss is.
DPS-way >>>> Sparks running. And it shouldn’t be that way. Boss is not working as intended.
Once you get the grip on it, have the right builds, you can dps simin down every time in less than 2minutes.
While ppl who run the sparks will still have to do it for 10-15min cca. Even if they are good in it and do the boss the way anet intended it.

It wasnt fixed… place four sparks, put last at 50% and then dps her down on one go. Very easy. We had thief, ranger, necro, berserk warrior and mesmer. After we bought 10/10 tonics and dps food. It wasnt a problem to bring her down on one go.
I was referring to different strategy, not this one.
I know you were referring to the dpsing her while she is invisible. That was fixxed, yet that doesnt mean the dps way itself was fixed….
Ppl including me still do dps way. And ppl can even get her BUGGED and she does nothing! Dont say the boss its okay, when its one of the most buggy bosses ingame.
EDIT: In the end I dont really care, i got my title and dont intend to rerun that path its just too long and boring. Prefer p1 and p3 by a longshot. Yet I think its unfair towards ppl who do her the regular way and have to deal with glitchy sparks. And others walk away after 2min cause she got bugged, or dps her down like searing effigy pre-patch.

The problem with dps race is that it was fixed. You know need a very specific team composition to kill her from 50% to 0% in one sweep.
Bugging bosses is very common bug, doesn’t include simin and alpha only.
It wasnt fixed… place four sparks, put last at 50% and then dps her down on one go. Very easy. We had thief, ranger, necro, berserk warrior and mesmer. After we bought 10/10 tonics and dps food. It wasnt a problem to bring her down on one go.

It’s not a dps race. It’s a race with sparks. And it probably was never intended as dps race seeing how anet fixed that.
Its whatever you choose to do, we chose dps-way, and it was a race for dps, if you choose to run sparks its a race with sparks…
In my opinion if the team has the potential damage, why even bother with glitchy sparks.
Last but not least, just yesterday I heard you can get simin bugged like subject alpha then she just stands there and does nothing and you have all time in the world to kill her unless you unbug her with some cc.
So is the boss working as inteded? Definitely not. The boss is broken as —--, and i am for certain more ppl kill her with dps-way or bug-way rather than to bother with glitchy sparks.
I think there already was an official response to this on another thread. Ofc its not an exploit, otherwise 80-90% ppl doing dungs would be banned by now.
Before you enter the dungeon at all, ask how many people intend to skip mobs.

I remember anet promised us to be able to play instances with all our GW1 friends no matter what server they chose. Yet I cant play with them even after 4 months.

How can you even ask something that naively. One hinders the gameplay severely while the other is just a skin that you don’t need at all, and that was never meant to be obtained easily. Thats the difference.

Yeah so far I know charged dont drop from mobs in CoE, you can however get corrupted lodestones from mobs in CoE pretty much like in HotW.
Indeed its rather hard to find group for CoE, fortunatelly i always get some friends or guildies to join and then we have to take only 1-2 pugs and as long as pugs are the minority its rather a smooth run. Sometimes we get pricky pugs that complain that they use to do this and this differently but when they see how fast it works that way they mostly stop complaining :p.
HotW p1 is definitelly the fastest path from these two dugneons. However I disagree with you on HotW p3, the 3 bosses there have several zillions HP, and I think a good group can do CoE p1 or 2 faster than HotW p3.
