the server you pick only determines your team for world vs world now. with the release of megaserver technology, every map except world vs world is shared among all servers in EU. NA also has its own mega server.
So the only research you need to do to pick a server is regarding world vs world.

I highly suggest getting an MMO mouse such as the razer naga. Having the 12 extra buttons at your thumb is outstanding on guildwars 2 , as now i can preform all those actions while moving.
I bind the 1-10 to the 12 button thumb grid, then move the f1-f4 down to the 1-4 keys.

its a big of an expensive way to do it, but i love my naga and simply will not play mmos without it.

I find the extra buttons are useful in games like battlefield as well, again being able to reload, change weapons, stances etc without having to move away from wads.

it is because for whatever reason, these jumping puzzles use the pvp code for creating the instances.
on the pvp roadmap is letting you bring in your pve cloths into pvp so it will get fixed by then at least.

basically i want to level up my leatherworking for ascended armour, but rather than do it on my 80 thief, i want to get some levels on my warrior. Everything i make i can pass from my war to my leather classes right?

Hello, is this invitation still going on? me and my buddy are interested in getting our dungeon master titles. we have all story modes cleared out, and a couple explorer modes done. we are both 80 with full exotic and some ascended. Who should i contact? also this is NA right?

I was interested in what servers the players from TTS1 are from. I used the achievement leader board to get all 496 players. here are the results if anyone is interested. also note, the vast majority of players are in the top 90% of total players for achievement points, so quite a seasoned group.

“Ascended chests are a special kind of container that drop from Fractals of the Mists, Guild missions, exotic champion loot bags and WvW Rank chests.”

but i also remember reading somewhere that everything that drops ascended mats, have a chance to drop a chest too.

What are the possible ways to get an ascended chest?

nah im kidding, but you are right, the game is very fun. it can get very grindy if you do the grindy things, but if you let yourself just play the stuff you like the most, its a blast.
and now if you dont find anything fun in the game, wait 2 weeks and see what is next.

whoa whoa this is hot join? dude who cares, find a new match instead. you can easily complete the daily in the solo que. now if you get afks in a tournament, where you cant easily leave, then you may have some ground.

I also dont get when people say the game is a ghost town thought. Sure some players have left, always happens in MMOs, but on my server (SoR) i find there to be just as many people playing now, as there was throughout September. They are in different zones now, or in WvW (which almost always has a que) but even the low to mid level zones i aways see people running around, and the Metas usually draw a pretty big crowd.

what will happen to the crown pavilion once this even finishes?
I can understand if the gauntlet is no longer active, or the achievements, but will the zone and events remain?

Personally i love the zone, good place to just fight and do group events. To me it seems like a new permanent area in the city, unlike the labyrinth which was physically elsewhere.

Have they said if they will disable to portal to the bottom of the pavilion?

Edit – i just realized this event will most likely come back, which is cool, my question is in hopes that the bottom of the pavilion will be a new permanent zone, similar to southsun.

Whew, i thought it was just my system. I happen to launch GW2 with fraps yesterday, and was stunned to see sub 30fps outside of a zerg. i figured it was due to the relatively small zone, yet high number of players. To me it seems like LA, but with fighting.

I think its simply to remove some gold from the economy. notice the stuff from guild comm vendor also costs gold.

I have the AMD Radeon HD6870 using drivers 12.11 on win 7 64bit
Lately i have been getting minor graphical glitches were certain parts of the ground will turn a different colour tint when i angle the camera.
ive attached 2 screens, only difference is the camera angle. as you can see, some of the sand goes from white to black.

i thought of this as well. make a list just like the pvp browser. since we don’t need particular classes or levels, it is possible.

Lets see if it works.
