Wait rangers have a LB 3? I thought it was only 1 and 2, kitten what am I gonna do in higher MMR when they use more than just those abilities, they are already dumb.

For open world I run 4/5/4/0/1

in valor i take strength in numbers for bonus toughness for myself and everyone around me and then I take the one that gives bonus crit based on toughness since I couldnt really find anything else worth 2 points.

Once you have the basic 4/5/x/x/1 you can basically put the last 4 wherever you want to.

As for gear I run soldiers on all of my armor and weapons with runes of flame legion for 7% extra damage vs burning things which is every boss 100% of the time or trash after i hit it a third time. Then I use berserkers for jewelry since its so multipurpose for so many classes and I didnt want to waste laurels for niche things. I think this set up is pretty optimal but honestly guards have so much built in defenses that you can wear whatever gear floats your boat.

Run retreat for mobility then the other 2 are personal preference I run signet of judgement for passive damage reduction and generally I run hold the line for regen and protection but some fights its nice to have reflect.

I recommend staff for tagging and greatsword for added mobility but you could probably run staff and 1hs + focus or greatsword / 1hs+focus and do just as well.

I found it, it was the mini dungeon to the southwest called the Forsaken Halls the entrance of which was located slightly northwest of the wymblood waypoint.

It seems I am missing something in dredgehaunt cliffs in the upper right hand corner of the map. Its east of Graupel wp.

I dont think its Ulukks hunger since it is named on my map and I cant get to it through any of the nearby caves. Its the spot that shows the repair symbol on the map.

Anyone know how to find this?

I’ve never been denied a group on my guardian, I want to say that maybe I’ve been denied a group one time in 250 hours on my thief. I can’t think of a class I wouldn’t want to have on my team.

Even if you read the complaints in other classes forums there are roles they can fill really well. A Necromancer or Engineer can both do great support while doing pretty decent AOE damage, and once you get to a boss where a necromancer or engi has time to set up for all that sustained DPS it’s pretty good IMO.

Rangers have great kiting, utility and range, plus their short bow 1 attack from max range is insane, they rarely become a liability on boss fights and can give the entire party 10% more damage and a great heal.

My guess is that people just don’t want to deal with the pet mechanics of the ranger, there are times where you can’t control it and the pet is a big liability. Like vs Lupicus in Arah, if the pet attacks the boss it can spawn a grub right on top of it and make the fight very difficult.

No one will do Story Mode!

My thought is to give ~30 tokens for the first completion of story-mode each day (and zero for repeats).

That is more tokens than we currently get for repeating an explorable path, so it will encourage people who are very focused on one set of dungeon rewards to run story-mode in addition to the three explorable paths each day. Or if they are just helpful players, it will reward them moderately for helping out others.

However, ~30 is much less than the 60 possible from explorable paths, and it would only be available once a day, so people couldn’t farm the easier story-mode for tokens.

I do not agree with this …

getting 30 tokens each day means you’ll get 1800 in a month doing easy runs on a daily basis

you need less than 1400 tokens for a full set …

so you get a full set in one month just by doing a 1h easy run per day ???

NO definately NO!!!

I’m farming the hard mode, doing CM explo mode, 3 paths each day from yesterday (did this before but it was so bugged) and now people can get a dungeon set just that SO easily … I DO hope this will never happen

30*30 = 900 and also who cares, if I can farm an entire dungeon set in a week doing explorables then its fine for some bad to farm that set in a month doing story quests.

Why not just give 60 tokens for story quest too, gives people one more path for people who wanna farm the dungeon hard, gives incentive for people to actually do them so you get people there.

I’ve played the game almost 400 hours already I have an 80 and a level 65, prolly gonna be 80 by the end of today, and I do mostly dungeons on both of them now. I wouldn’t mind at all if they did this.

I’ve had it happen once as well, we tried to get them to talk by purposefully wiping a few times in various spots in the dungeon and nothing worked so we left.

I suppose a botter could also purposefully report himself then do the code before activating the automated portion, so it may be worthwhile to have it be possible to force a single capcha with enough reports, at worst if you guys detect several reports you can see if it is a bot.

If someone is reported by any player for being a bot they have a capcha popup to verify they are a real person. If they fail it they are kicked out of the game and unable to log in for 30 minutes. If they succeed they wont be forced to do another capcha if reported for an hour or two.

If they log back on after their half hour ban and are reported again and fail again the lockout time will extend to 1 hour, 6 hours, and then to 24 hours.

There you can now get rid of diminishing returns outside of dungeons.

I seem unable to get an email from the support website to even set up my support account, I have had my CE items missing since I accidentally deleted the character with them on day 1 of the headstart.

I figure I might as well post here to see if I can get some sort of advice on what to do.

There probably should be a small video or something that teaches dodge mechanics and strafing to dodge regular enemy attacks, but I think anyone who is having a hard time could figure that stuff out after a while.

Also dungeons were not ever meant to be completed by everyone, the story modes can be completed with persistence, and the explorables are there for people who want somewhat challenging PvE ( which many would say it still isn’t )

20 per run is fine for doing each one, personally I dont think exp or money should have DR either, if they think its too much money let them reduce it from 26 for each 20 token run to like 10 or 15 silver but people who enjoy dungeons but still wanna make money and get items and stuff shouldn’t be more penalized than the next guy.

Personally I think we should be able to get 20 per run for any path we want after the first full clear, because even then it makes more sense for most people to do 1 of each explorable them move to a new dungeon for the day.

Also dungeons should not have DR at all, if you do all 3 first paths and get 180 tokens and then choose to do runs for 20 tokens continuously you should have that option, its already only 30% efficiency, maybe 40% if the path is particularly quick, but at least then the people who do WANT to farm a set can.

You guys claim we can play however we want, that was the entire premise of the game, but if I am not supposed to be able to earn a piece of gear quicker, just don’t let me back in the dungeon once I’ve completed the paths, otherwise just let me earn my equipment and gear skins please.

More varied armor types

Some people like the look of plate and some people like the look of leather or cloth. I think that medium armor classes such as thieves should have some kinds of plate available to them, maybe it could look like thinner metal or have some obviously ranger thing about it but I think this would be really cool for the general experience.

I also think that cloaks would be awesome, cloaks that show through some of whatever you are wearing underneath, with and without hoods.
