Oh my…!

I’ve read literally hundreds of threat about the lack of end game content and the lack of difficult content.

Please, don’t tell us know that raid are too hard!

they were out for a day!

Even cof was hard the first day.

Enjoy the discover and don’t have a doubt, pugs in a way or in the other, will level up to front this “hard” content as soon as meta, guide, video will be released for raids too.

I agree with those who wrote “we keep on trying and improving”. Perfect. what’s better of this in a mmo? And we all have been rewarded also for have tried many times, that is even more perfect.

On another point of view, If the only choise a player has to do a content is to pug, so why that player is in an mmo? At least I expect that some content in a game like an mmo require high experience, good party coordination and so on.

We’ve got probably the first content, after kidden guild mission, to do as a guild.

I’m working on my third 100% map exploration.

Considering that I love legendaries, I probably will do another couple of full tournee.

It’s really an interesting scenario.

What we can assume is that people who already have some of the first set of legendaries will try to get some of the second new set.=> Demand decrease

For surely more people will come back to play. => Demand increase

People who haven’t legendary will probably however choose second set because …kitten , it’s new and will do it also until the price on trading post/time cost of the journey has a gap in favor of the second. The important aspect here is how difficult and log will be the journey. However the gap will surely became closer as time goes by. I think prices will decrease cause I haven’t seen any hard hunt till now in the entire game

Finally, the most important effect on the market is..: FEAR!

I think a lot of people is waiting to see how things evolve before try to sell his dropped or toiletted precursor. The first impact on trading post will probably be a mash down. So sellers will try to gain immediately what they can. this actually for casual sellers, that has dropped a precursor and don’t want to do its leggendary.
Professional sellers is a big “?”

All considered (my personal point of view) I aspect to see a decrease of 20-30% on lowest seller price at TP

Well, you guys got to play with a ranged power weapon (in celestial??) with a condition manipulation legend (in pve) and a tank one, with most of the weapons disabled, 3 missing legends, of which, one being the dps legend, as well as the power trait line missing.

It shouldn’t be too hard to connect the dots here, clearly things aren’t ready yet… This is why random test hand outs are such a bad idea… Bad word of mouth from ignorance is not a good thing….

In fact I took revenant first and after a quarter i delete the character and took elementalist. Reventant is not yet ready to be tested. Let’s wait.

Mmm… yes, this thing can be an issue in pvp/wvsw. But let’s keep in mind that they are testing and everything can be changed from now on with conditions stack’s problems.

I don’t think they will rend pvp and www unfair because of this tests. Already now condi build are pretty good in both aspect of the game, so let’s wait the first pvp beta access and see if anything is on the plate.

I’m more concerned about dungeons.

If the stack changes are the only workable thing, it will not be enough to make conditioners viable in dungeons because of how fast bosses are killed.

So I hope there’s something more underwork. Or in dungeon aspect nor in condi pve aspects

Cause it was just a stress test I didn’t expect to have fun with it, but actually I had.
I was a bit confused by celestial sets (wasn’t able to immediately understand condi and physical damage and needed to log in with ele to make comparisons) but events were fun, vyvern was great and flying around the zone was astonished good.
the map seemed to be really interesting with the avatar style plants and the idea that deep below there would have been a lot more …

For me well done. I ejoyed my stress test. thank you for have let me do it.

The fact is that your intend is to do dungeon as fast as possible, but you don’t want to learn how this is done.

Otherwise there’s no reason to ask to the comunity why we play the way we want in a game that is intended to make this a common sense for players base.

also, when you pug, just stay behind and let people who know what to do carry the others who don’t…

first: warrior phalanx and fgj spammer when we have 2 ele blaster in party and 25 might stacks all time; also, in the same situation, no elite banner from them but signet… for … what???
second: having 2 wars in party and no empower allies
third: necro, no matter what build
fourth: any build that intends to heal

I’m sorry.

I play from day1 and all I’ve seen till now is: bad players/afk players/pug that wants to lead kicked off party.

This is and this will ever be.

Some problem are in the fact that in the actual system, a bad player has no way to play dungeon, cause put off the concept of dungeon opener, he will be kicked even if he opened.

I think the last system was better, but I don’t find any improvement in changing the nr. of kicks required.

A great improvement for comunity will be make kick impossible after mid dungeon/fractals. with an exceptions for chashes and afk. If something like this is possible.

I don’t agree on the idea necro is so bad in pve. If you mean anything else than dungeon, they’re pretty good.

About dungeon, the only problem with necros is dps. if it would be increased, it would be great. But no real review of the class seems necessary to me.
Just some soft burst to put its dps in the same line of others.

lb in dungeon is not meant to be used for burst of skill 1, but of skill 2 and 5. skill 2/5 aren’t affected by distance, and skill 5 works good with trait 11 in marksmanship, exactly how skill 1 sword does.
It’s a pretty solid build that grants a reasonable dps

The most bad thing is that, cause they don’t know how bad they are, they will never improve.

We could post a billion thread of how being a good pug, but if just few of them read it, is quite useless (also cause those few will improve anyway).

May be we just have to handle it: pugs are pigs.
They want us to feed them with free loot and don’t bother cryticism.

In pvp, I’m so God thankfull that I can at least kill them!

If you keep that build in dungeon, you’ll most of the times be kicked.
take note of this.
You can of course play the way you want and find a party that likes your style but never, EVER do this build with ascendent gear.
The reason is that healing power coefficient are small and a 5% increase isn’t so effective.

Total heal = (level*lvlratio) + (Healing Power*HPratio)
Heal@80 = Base + (Healing power*HP ratio)

ALL RATIOS ROUNDED TO MOST CONVENIENT DIGIT
Regeneration (boon) = 130 base, 0.125 HP ratio
Monk’s Focus (trait) = 1960 base, 0.1 HP ratio

There’s something I want to add to these suggestions. It happened yesterday that I was pugging in ac, and there was a guardian healer in the party (shame on me to not have regroup elsewhere…). Well, he flamed on the fact that he rather never get an exotic bag from champion kill because of the low damage his hits do.

Apart from any consideration of “why the hell a Guardian healer come in Ac and why he still exist in the game” (I totally agree btw), is it a real mechanic of the game? Anyone knows? Cause if it is, it seems broken to me.

There are so many things to improve in the game, while add new content till the old one is not good?
pvp: more than everything, a kitten well done matchmaking, than maps, than rewards etc.
pve: the dungeons you call long I can all finish within 10-20 minutes, and they are boring, old, and too much simple. we need more dungeons, or an “hard run” for expert people, and again more dungeons. It’s unbelieveble that those they add with living season 1 were put off… really hard to understand the reason of this madness!
and then in pve we need a reason to come in old maps better than just bosses. Everyone here knows each world boss location, but what about the rest of all maps?
why don’t add a new reward each time you complete a map that can be bigger time after time? why don’t do something so that people can have a reson to explore again (after a couple years) the beauty of Tyria?

Everything in this game is pretty good, but it is like planted and then left behind.

finally www and ls: don’t know, don’t like, make a different game with www and living story and give me a good pvp and pve game.

I would prefer a LOT!

Edit: sorry for complaining, I don’t want to waste your time, but this game is lacking from so much time… I expected a lot more than feature pack to be done before ls2… now we’re in, and nothing will be done for another year… and this is a real shame.

How can I explain how better it is than to have pvp istance????

-infinity map possibilities can you see how epic would it be a fight with mobs around f.e. in orr zone? or everywhere everyone would like to combat!!!

There are a lot of trolls in this forum, and a loot of people too who believe to be able to be great developers because they think to be great player.

I bet a lot of people will complain about personal story of living 2 before ls 3 will start.

That’s it.

And then there are a lot of serious people who try to bring an evidence of a problem to devs, and have respect in their suggestions.

Who the hell can really start a topic with “meta berserker suck” kind of title or “lack of build diversity” while you can really play the way you want.

It is quite obvious that if you want to do a dungeon with me, and you run tanky in ac anypath, I will obvioustly kick you istant. Cause you’re tank? no, cause you’re useless.

You don’t have to ask for build diversity, you have to ask for dungeons that require different builds.

In all the rest of the game, you play the build you want, if you’re able to.

And this is just to make an example of what trolls and playerthinkingtobedevs do.

Paying for past content?

What is the problem to pay for past lw episode? 200 gems are like 1 day of gold farming, there’s no require of real money if you don’t want to support the game.

And if you don’t play it, and just want to come to see what’s new somethimes, well go to play something else.

Sorry guys, but I really think LS must have the most temporary stuff it can. Otherwise, it is not leaving, don’t you think so?
the fact that we all enjoy living the time it comes out make everyone feel part of a greater party made from every single player on the event. Why change it in a personal story? This is not an off line game; personal story is boring. Do it with a full party will still make it a lot less epic that just take the LS when it’s up with the rest of tyria population.

More than this I enjoy the fact that, because I was here playing from a lot, I have rewards other can never have. What is the point of let everyone have everything?
At least LS rewards can’t be bought or achieved in other way than being in the LS.

I understand some people loose the LS in the way it is now. We can make each ls longer in time to let more people enjoy it. As ANET has been during in last months btw.

You say people have lives, but ls is not of an hour or of a day. It stays for 2 weeks at least, recently a lot more. If you can’t take it in that time you loose it.

I don’t find it more bad that wake up at 3o’ clock to gather in other games.

LS is a GW2 distinctive element. and it has to stay. Changing are welcome, but if it is leaving, it is not resting.

Yes, your build has more formal condition damage. But you have no duration, that will rend quite hard to stack 25 bleeding, and, in each case, less time condition=less condiotion at all.

Then you’ve no precision, while with my 50% i’m going to give more bleeding than you in each case, and that’s more condition.

1. Why are you using Spiteful Talisman if you’re not even using a focus?
2. Signet of Spite doesn’t make much sense in PvE. And without it, Signet Mastery will become obsolete as well.
3. Vulnerability on Lifeblast? Seriously? There’s a ton of traits that would make more sense in a condition build. Even if you insist on using those last points in this traitline.
4. Even without food, your bleeds will have a duration of 115%. With the food you’re suggesting, it would be 155%. Too bad that everything above 100% doesn’t benefit you at all; especially in PvE.
5. Obviously, it’s NOT the best build.
6. Stop being so full of yourself.

1) You’re totally right,that is an old trait from my experiments with focus I ddin’t check.
2) Signet of spite is very nice to spread condition in combo with epidemic
3) Vulnerability is a condition extreamly usefull in pve. otherwise you can put 10 point in death magic and choose trait 5
4) my total condition duration with food is 70%. the fact that it became more than 100% on bleeding doesn’t mean the rest of necro’s conditions are useless. And you don’t have to always have food, of course.
5) never found once better. can wait for your one dear
6) that can be true, I wrote the post after checking first 2 builds of this thread that seemed to be a troll. So i got a little hungry.

In my point of view LS is necessary in GW2. It would no more be the same mmo without it.

But I can understand we have to wait, cause of LS, 2 years instead of one to have huge expansion; not more.

If this year will pass without any expansion annuncement i’m sure a LOT of people will leave up.

This argument has been so long discussed I’m afraid no comment is necessary.

I once had your same opinion but in the meanwhile:

1 berserker have been nerfed, some build more than other.
2 Anet already saied that nerfed was a “starting act” in order to allow and increase build diversity.
3 More people from a couple of month ago are asking in lfg only for player (not a must be berserker research).

So no meaning of this tread anymore. If you want to play your own build, find a party that like this concept or edit your own lfg.

3.700 hours played since the beginning, 2 leggendaries done, but no precursor dropped!

Done tons of events, tons of dungeon and pve contant and reached rank 130 in www (poor result, but i’ve done it) and also rank 52 in pvp (same comment).

Also i’ve reached 200% basic magic find per account.

No results, no precursors, even no more significant drop.

I’d say 2 war 1 mesm 1 ele 1 guard and you can practically run every dungeon with or without skipping/stacking.

If not skipping/stacking guard healer otherwise he can be brskr if enough damage is put out.
the rest all full meta set.
Only somethime, in dredge 49 fractal way, you’ll need a thief instead of a war.

Btw, if you don’t want to fast run everything, just enjoy with your preferit classes and learn how to run everydungeon with it.

I’m level 50 fractal personal rew., and, running with pugs, i find a lot of them very good and a lot of them very bad.

I can assure you that, if you’re bad and the party has been not kicked you before, at second quit of final fractal (mai, for example) you’ll probably be kicked.

Cause you’re bad, or bad with that party. Try to work with this. Improve yourself and no one will ever kick you.

I can suggest you:
1 wait. When new leggendaries will come out (hope fast), probably hold leggendaries precursor’s price will slowly go down.
2 always put an offer on trading post; never buy items at their intended selling amount
3 don’t farm event or items if you’ve not yet farmed dugeon. dungeon reward>everything else rewards; excluding somekind of living
4 don’t expect to do a leggendarie easy or fast; it will be not.

I’ve already made 3 leggendaries, all races tier 3 armor, a lot of high price weapon and 3 ascended armor. Enjoy yourself and earn money!

If new legendaries come around you are going to need 2-3x more cash to finish your legendary, regardless if old or new. Expect the price of all T6 mats, globs, etc. to skyrocket. Its not a good advice to wait, T6 is not going anywhere but up.

1 wait. When new leggendaries will come out (hope fast), probably hold leggendaries precursor’s price will slowly go down.
2 always put an offer on trading post; never buy items at their intended selling amount
3 don’t farm event or items if you’ve not yet farmed dugeon. dungeon reward>everything else rewards; excluding somekind of living
4 don’t expect to do a leggendarie easy or fast; it will be not.

I’ve already made 3 leggendaries, all races tier 3 armor, a lot of high price weapon and 3 ascended armor. Enjoy yourself and earn money!

there’s some point of this discussion I understand, and some I understand not.

1 pug players have high less dps than organized gruop (first post): do u have considered this difference could be the reward for “organization”? Why should it be weird? After playing a year with my 4 team player, I can tell u that I play as I’m managing all 5 characters, cause I know what they’re doing and what to do to massimize the group result. I know their build, and I have learnt best synergie of our playstile. I mean: of course organized players do an incredible major dps effect!!!

2 not all the build possibilities are incouraged. Depends. what are you talking about? if dungeon, I totally agree with you, about the rest no. Let’s talk about dungeons, that, btw, are so important as final content are. The ideas following are only about dungeons.

There are big problems about characters that don’t fill in meta builds because of game mechancs. Necros, for example, are designed for aoe damage. But this rather sucks in dungeons, where aoe is required only for trush mobs.

Btw, it’s not even true that only dps play dungeon. most common character and builds are mesmer hybrid (phantasm master), ele blaster, guardian healer, warrior berserker.

Problem is about the other classes: necros because of canditions gameplay, ranger because it does not excell in anything (no damage, no party buff, no healer), thief is only master skip cause of invisibility, engineer because.. wtf, is there an engineer in gw2???

There is something that has to be done for this characters that has nothing to do with meta high dps research. Meta dps is not the research of character best dps, but the research of party best dps. this involve different build of different character that are “best at”. nowadays this characters are best at: damage (warriors) buff (ele) guarantee long life and so long dps (guardian healer), control mob’s position (mesmer).

I think Arenanet has to find something in which the classes i mentioned can be “best at”. An idea: necro debuff mobs, thief take aggro for short time while in stealth… just to give an idea of what i’m trying to say. In dungeon, “best at” is a lot more important that “hiher personal dps”.

One thing left, if we’re talking of dungeon, Arenanet, i prey you, take a break from living update and work kitten dungeon. I think that devs really have to clear community about what exploit in game are, and fix all of the trush exploit are. I don’t want to be in a party that does lupicus in 10 seconds, but if the devs consider it right, i think WE HAVE RIGHT TO KNOW WHERE THE GAME IS GOING IN ALL WAYS THAT AREN’T L.S.

Frostgorge sound: where did mobs go? there are no more in the east part.

Malchor’s leap: skill point Augur’s Grotto bugged, it refull life when took to 1% life. never die.

Ok guys, this is my first post in the forum… be kind with me;).

I absolutely love gw2, and I appreciate a lot affords I see anet is involving in it.

But, this… sorry guys… is simply wrong.

The reason (mr. Manuhell) this case is different is obviously because something we had will be stolen.

That’s it.

I simply can’t let pass it as an accettable misure to improve people experience in fractal, and I don’t care if my first -post realease- fractal will be a 10 or a 44 (my level cap till now).

The fact is exactly that i can not be punished for have done something.
And you know what? Everybody fractal level is not something unvaluable.

It’s a point of honor have reached an hiher level in fractal. We all know it. Fotm is one of the 2 or 3 things that really are difficult in the game.

It’s more than an achievement that you usually take easily: it is a status.

It says you love hard things and you are a pretty good player.

So Anet, this time is a failure. Please do something.

GW2 is my first mmo. I started a the noobest of all. Nobody invited me neither in fractal 10. time as gone by, and now my guild member are happy to have me in a 44 or 48.

So I feel like you’re going to steal my personal story in game.
