I’d love to get some lore on the weapons, for far the only one that really stand out is the Flameseeker Prophesies, so looking forward to the story bits!

Thank you for this post, hope you find the solution soon enough.
On the “In tune” achievement, it would be nice if AoE damage was dealt normally when it was used, so as a main elementalist who always use FGS and Fire Attunement, my large and long AoEs tick several times even after the spells have been used and my light buff is gone. Would like to see my Burning Retreat would not punish me when i accidently used it 6 seconds before my attunement went away.
I remember when i had to get my GIft of Battle before achievement rewards were added, i had to do Obsidian Sanctum jumping puzzle every day at 6am. for a really long time to craft the piece i needed. and yes, unless i wanted to get killed 14 times before reaching the chest, i had to wake up 15minutes earlier so i could do a jumping puzzle before i went to school.
BUT, if you look at the bigger picture, legendaries are supposed to be difficult to get.. grinding is not the worst case scenario
Map cpmpletion is painful, but this is a MMO… you are sort of supposed to meet and team up with other people for the full experience. I am doing map completion for 2nd time now, and i HATE Kessex Hills, Dredgehaunt Cliffs and Timberline Falls.. they are just painful to do. The living story added hoards of overpowered enemies that are no chance you can take down by yourself if you are a lvl 45 out and exploring. The main map and mini map are also very unclear, nearly impossible to see cave entrances for some points of ineterests and many vistas are places in the same areas over and over with little variation on how to reach them.
I couldnt agree more! there are many women or gay men who play this game, and it’s a shame our rangers and thieves has to be fully covered in heavy coats when we spend quite some time creating the best avatar in our eyes. The closest thing humans got to show some skin is Assassin cultural armor, which only show a bit arms.. while for feemales, they’re lucky if they got their breasts covered at all. Same goes for light armor, would love to see the extremely long sleeves gone and be LIGHT. 80% of female light armor concists of bras, which is pretty degrading. No solid pants either, they HAD to add a tiny skirt or something to the mix..
Lack of exciting armor for males and that many people quit cause of boring living world.. :/
They still havent added new legendaries, precursor crafting, flamekissed armor or more than Skyhammer to pvp… so i hope we get to see this in January. Wanna know if i should make Bolt or wait for new ones.
Most materials such as Gold, Silver and Platinum are rarely used after crafted a few levels within Jewlery, nobody really harvest them and most people just sell them on the TP for some simple gold. I have also noticed on the Trading Post, that the Silver Doubloons you can only get from chest and foes in the lvl 20 range, and REALLY expensive. If you want to craft The Juggernaut, you would have to spend almost 300 gold ONLY on the Doubloons, which is an insane amount of gold for an item that is pretty hard to come by (hence the value).
So, why not make silver and gold noticeable again, by allowing us to craft these nifty items? The Juggernaut wont be one of the worst Legendaries ever to aquire, and the people who notice this first and has gathered a lot of silver through the months can make some money out of a useless material that has piled up the inventory..
So, Silvers value will increase, Silver Doubloons would decrease a bit, and those who want to get the juggernaut but wont spend 700g on a precursor and another 300g for ONE tiny part of the recipe will the journey be less tedious.
Thanks for reading, and i hope you agree with me on this topic.
Wonderful updates! just a note on a skill:
“Arcane VIII – Blasting Staff. Moved to Adept tier.” Could you make it visible to the player where the AoE will land? I dont see the 60+ increase when i cast it, only after it has landed.
Keep up the good work
Females (beside asuras) got very pretty and rather revealing light armor… why not do the same for the boys? I got 4 light armor characters, 2 of them are Sylvaris because of the t2 cultural armor, but my male human and asura female are just plain boring.. Phoenix armor is kinda cute on my asura (which is a female, not very feminine) but my Human Necromancer is extremely boring. The only armor that was good looking in my opinion, was Vigil. a simple tank-top with only pants and boots showing (cause the gloves are too large and the shoulders just ruin the outfit).
So what i am asking for, is some cool pants and torsos without extremely long sleeves. They got great arms, why not show them off?
Probably 1-3 new GS, since it’s one of the most used weapons (popularity and class), maybe beside uw weapons.. (warrior, guardian, ranger, mesmer) and if you think about it, i am sure it’s easier to come up with GS designs than stakitten or pistols that we havent already seen.
Speaking of legendaries, i hope they’ll update the old ones as well.. Minstrel to give a really good glow effect if you dont already have a legendary main-hand, Dreamer getting footsteps and Meteo-something get some effects… they need more love :(
Sadly, the MF is just that, a gamble.. you worked hard for the 1600 GS, so why not turn them into something safer? I saved almost every penny to get The Dreamer, and now that i got it.. i am glad i didnt try the MF. If i am allowed to compare the game to real life, you wouldnt gamble your health insurance on a lottery ticket to get a sportscar..
They stated mounts arent here cause of WP and any class can apply swiftness… but i would like to roam around on a beat though, but it would be too distracting in wvw etc..so would have to be like the broom, a town item.
But yes, males need better armor! It seems like medium and light are more covered than heavies… Warriors can wrap 2 belts around their chest and call it armor, while mediums will be covered in an awfully large coat, and necros running around in skirts.. The assassin is nice, but i dont want it to be my only option (before someone ships me link to numerous amount of gears, i’ve seen them all.. and they just dont work)
I agree with some of the stuff you wrote, like hearts feeling like a chore and jp’s are fun, but only once or twice. I guess the only thing you need is new land to lay tour eyes upon :) Gueens Gauntlet brings a lot of challenges (some easy, and some dreadful) that can truly test you.. but to me, a MMO is something you can do with your friends, so maybe a new companion can give the fire a spark :)
I dont really see the fuzz about Auras.. i’m running a staff ele, and i am loving it! being able to swap to earth to set a combo finisher, and lay a field on top of it is just heaven!! And i have seen so many d/d or s/d eles who cant stop running auras -.- they’re almost untouchable the way they’re running around.
Thieves are supposed to shadowstep and cloak, we’re not as heavy condi dealers or as ranged as rangers… but i agree with some points, the shortbow. I love the shortbow (and still do, cause i made Dreamer like 3 days back) but i decided to make it when Cluster bomb was still a 1200 skill, and now since it’s down to 900 i dont get to use it was much. So i would love some future skills or traits giving the shortbow on thieves some more range.. the range doesnt help much when i am trying to run away from a hammer warr/guardian :p
Slow? It all depends on the class… But i see some of your points, jumping with a charr or norn is a nightmare xD. Side note, i chose Sylvari first (cause they’re amazing…) But after 30 levels i got tired, and made 2 humans fairly quick, a thief (who i play the most) and a warrior, later i made a female necro, but changed the gender later. But i think Norns got one of the greatest cultural armors, their hairstyles (mixed with a beard) can be AMAZING… but the male legs are too skinny xD
Sylvari is my all time favorite though, really cool cultural armor and color pallet..
Myndkitt, i dont know how to sound it out, and it sounds i am saying “my filth” in my native language xD so i gotta give it a 2/10 :/
Durin Yddra : During being a dwarkitteng (i know they were a race in gw1) and Edda + Yggdrasil, ancient book + world tree
Crann Geal, sounds interesting, and i love that you look up names 9/10
Verdandi Henbane – Mesmer… i’ll leave the mystery to the next person
I personally LOVE the sylvari race as well, got a male elementalist and thief, and a female mesmer. I wanted to make a guardian as well, if my asura wasn’t so perfect.. I Especially love Cultural T2 for male sylvaris, the fairy look makes it easy to create the perfect elementalist, and match the ends of the “wings” with the hair looks amazing!
On the note of new design and faces, i’d love to se asymmetrical looks, like holes, fungus, or moss growing on only one side of the face. And maybe it shouldn’t be a standard armor choice, but I love the idea of longer hair on the females. The ponytail only seem to work with one or two faces, or else it becomes too tight and not that “pretty” or interesting. And i also love vines, the nightmare armor tangling around the feet etc etc,
Maybe i should start sketching some stuff as well, keep up the good work, and i’m looking forward to future updates :)
need to see how it looks before i buy one myself
