I’d actually recommend just trying something you don’t expect you’d enjoy.
You see, before I got into the game, I was so sure that my main would be a Norn Ranger, and I’d probably have a Human Thief too. Perhaps some Sylvari Necromancer as well?
That were the thoughts I had, and was sure I’d keep on to till launch. Back in my WoW days, I had always played Hunter and Druid (Feral).
But during the betas, the first thing I found out, was that I didn’t really like the norn very much. And ranger actually disappointed me a little bit. It was fun, but I had expected a bit more, I think. Something different.
I tried out a little bit of all of the professions within short time, save for elementalist and engineer. I did enjoy ranger and thief, but I decided, at the end of the last beta, to try elementalist. And what a joy I had just found! I was so sad there was only that day left of the beta, for I just discovered how much I enjoyed elementalist. In the mean time I had also tried the charr, (this elementalist was a norn) and as the beta finished, I knew exactly what my main would be; charr elementalist.
I’m still playing on my charr ele. today, as my main character. I have a human ranger that I don’t play a whole lot on. To my surprise, I also have a charr engineer I enjoy playing on, which is odd to me because of all the professions I thought engineer would be at the bottom of the list for me.
TL;DR; Try out some of the professions you don’t really expect much from. I can inform you that the ranger can be melee if you want it to be; sword/dagger is a pretty neat combination for it.

Here you go (:
Generally, the entire search doesn’t work.
(..I had absolutely zero idea where to post this one…… So now I’ll post it here, hoping the right people will find it or something..)
So yeah, browsing a random website when I see this ad. At first I thought it might’ve been some foreign language till I noticed the ‘’learn more’’ button and saw that the bottom advertisement was pretty much the same, except a horizontal version (without the typo).
Anyone wanna play some Guilad Wars? C:
Hello, everyone. (Prepare for a lot of text)
I’m looking for a somewhat specific guild that I believe shouldn’t be too hard to find with GW2’s community. To make a simple overview, I’ll write a list of the.. “requirements”;
The guild
- Friendly, helpful and social guild; What I’m looking for, is a guild where people are really talking a lot in the chat and practically getting to know each other. I’d love to sign in and see at least a couple of members online to talk to, in a community that overall feels friendly. ^^
- Casual PVX; Not saying that the members can’t be hardcore PVP’ers or something, but I’m not a person who can say I can join a specific dungeon a specific time and date in my calendar. Therefore I want the guild to be one where you can just ask one evening “Hey, anyone got time for … ?” and you may or may not find someone to play with. :3
- Guild Missions; Never tried any of them, and I’d love to see what it’s all about.
- Not-too-strict leaders; Here I’m just recalling back in my WoW days I was in a guild where only the leader could withdraw at all from the bank, meaning that if there was an item I could use, I had to get in contact with him and get it through him. Not much of a hassle if he’s on almost 24/7, but he left the game more or less at a point, so nobody could really use the bank for anything. I think it’s good there’s some restrictions for safety, but it shouldn’t be too much of a hassle, I feel. ^^’
- Experienced and forgiving; I’d love if there’s experienced players, but what I want to see even more, is a community that helps and answers questions other players might have, even if they’re somewhat silly and even if they believe that player should know better.
- English; generally, anyway. If we have a few members from a specific country that are talking in their native language when I sign in, that’s fine, I don’t mind.
- Accepting/for everyone’ish; Race, gender, age, nationality.. I want to be part of a community that keeps nobody outside – not even someone just because they’re 12. I’ve personally played with a lot of 12-year olds that were much more mature than they’re generally pointed out to be, and I played MMO since I was 12 myself.
- Preferably on the server Desolation. I do want to change server, but I have some friends on Desolation, and if I do find a really great guild I’ll be happy to try to invite them with me, which of course would be easier if it’s the server I’ve always been on. Still, even if your guild is not Desolation, I’ll happily give it a try — preferably as a guest at first though, just so I’m sure it’s the right guild before changing server.
Woo, so much text I threw at ya so far.. Well, I guess I just want to find just the right guild XD;
Me
So, just to say a bit about who I am and for how long I’ve played, if that’s of any interest.. I never played GW1, but I did follow GW2 from before beta, as well as participated in the betas. I play mainly on my Elementalist, lv. 80, but I’m not a very hardcore gamer nor the most experienced. For instance, I have yet to do any explorable mode in dungeons (something I REALLY want to get done), and I didn’t get to finish the Twilight Arbor one. I don’t PVP a lot, but would like to get into that as well.
I had started up a guild of my own, and it was going really well the first few days after launch, however as expected, some people lost interest in GW2 (especially around WoWMoP launch), and I got busy, plus I’m a very hesitant person to ask if people were looking for a guild etc. etc.. I tried to get it back to life several times without really succeeding, and the game sometimes became “Guilt” Wars for me, as I felt terribly bad for letting people and the guild down.
I’m a somewhat busy person, and I generally play on and off. Therefore, needless to say, you won’t see me every day. I often play the game for something like a week or two and almost do nothing else in my freetime, then I’m ‘gone’ for a week or two. (Therefore I need to be in a guild where I’m not thrown out for inactivity too quickly. It might just happen I’m gone for a month, but I will 99% surely return, and if I don’t, I -will- give a message to the leader instead of just disappearing completely).
Alright.. I believe that was quite a bit of information. Now people, feel free to tell me about your guilds and let’s see if I can find the guild I’m looking for! :3
Oh, and! You can answer this forum, or you can contact me in-game, Sheila Dawnlight XD;
Alright, thanks everyone.
Still hoping someone on my server would come and say their experiences too though.. but mentioning what server that is would possibly alter the answer of someone.
Thanks for the suggestion of guesting; it was kind of also guesting that made me wonder though, because I had to guest a bit during the Flame and Frost event, and people seemed nicer but it might just be a coincidence.
Dam’, seems I don’t have so much of an option. I do have 16GB RAM but I had problems with my fan in the past, and while my new GPU came with three fans, I’m still not much for causing it to overheat.
Thanks for your replies, everyone.
‘kay, so while I’m not 100% lost in this, I’m not near the best when it comes to hardware knowledge.
After recently buying a new laptop, which GPU isn’t as good as my desktop computer’s (Nvidia GT630M vs Nvidia GTX680), I didn’t expect it to be much better in anything despite its obviously better CPU (Intel Core i7 vs. AMD Phenom II X4).
But to my own surprise, while most games still run better on my desktop computer, Guild Wars 2 runs INFINITELY better on my laptop – so much better I’ve completely chosen to not play it on my desktop anymore. I’m generally a patient person and could live with the low framerate I got on my desktop (~20’ish, regardless of settings) but it’s now become rather obvious to me how much the CPU means for the game.
Therefore, I’m out hunting for a CPU that can compare to my laptops, but my motherboard doesn’t want me to get one of Intels, apparently..
http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/M4A79T_Deluxe/#specifications
So I’m asking if anyone out there can find a CPU that would fit with my current motherboard, and compare to my laptop’s CPU, or at very least allow me to run GW2 with a higher fps.
crosses fingers that I won’t need a new motherboard..
..How nice people are here, attacking and lashing out like this. ._.’
Not that I really made it any better with that remark but.. really people, calm down.
Yes, anet is a company. True, no monthly fee for the game. Yes, that results in that they have to have a gem store where people can buy highly wanted items.
No, I don’t personally believe that those items have to be RNG but as a few state, they do it because it’s economically succesful for them. People buy those chests hoping to get that item they want, and they think “ah, just one more time”, only to keep buying till their wallet grows legs and quits.
But I do have a hard time thinking that anet DOESN’T make money off the gem store. Minipets are easily popular, for instance. They could also include a lot more town clothing. Weapon and armor skins to buy, including these.
Combining this with the chests? Well, I think a fair solution could be “You can either try your luck with a cheap chest, or just buy the item for x# amount of gems of the chest’s price.”
Not working for a game company or anything though, I can only imagine there’s probably a lot of work to make that function well, but I think a solution like that could balance things and make people who don’t want to spend their entire salary on a game be happy too.
Alright, thanks, everyone!
It’s been a great read and the many different viewpoints are really interesting to me. I think we’ve kind of gotten around all sorts of perspectives, and there has certainly been some valid reasons brought up.
At least I personally feel I’ve gotten enough answers from many different eyes, so I’m satisfied. Thanks again. ^^
(And yes, I did read everyone’s post, I just didn’t feel like quoting everyone to answer them directly, when I’d say about the same and like to end the discussion, at least on my end).
In my experience titles themselves don’t carry any honor, it is the people that do regardless if they have titles or not. As the old saying goes, “don’t judge a book by its cover,” and remember humility goes a long way.
Oh, what a great use of that saying. Thanks. ^^
Why do you think that the Mad Clock Tower got and Crab Toss gets so many complaints. The answer is simple. Those activities can’t be brute forced, nor can someone else easily carry you through them.
If the mesmer portal didn’t exist, jumping puzzles in general would get far more complaints than they are getting right now.
I see where you’re coming from, and it’s sad. There really are a lot of people who complain when things are hard, and I certainly don’t hope that Anet takes out these things because of the complaints. I absolutely loved the clock tower.
I’m glad someone made this comparison. The reason in both cases is that they are poorly designed. The primary challenge of clocktower was not in the timed jumping requirement as it was supposed to be, it was in surviving the first few jumps where you were blinded by the crowd.
Agreed, the crowd makes it much more difficult, no doubt about that. At least it’s often only the first few jumps that’ll really be a problem.. but still.
The use of Mesmer portals is not cheating. The use of Mesmer portals does not undermine the accomplishments of others. Those who wish to do the jumping puzzle can and will do the jumping puzzle. Those who do not wish to do the jumping puzzle will find a way around it. As far as the title is concerned only 10/11 of the samples is required so it is possible to achieve the title without obtaining the sample past the jumping puzzle. Which makes the usage of Mesmer portals even more of a moot point.
It’s true you don’t need every sample, but it does help as getting that last sample rewards two achievements (I forgot if they both count toward the Stalwart title..?).
I did the jumping puzzle early on in the patch before almost anyone even realized there was a sample there, and now I hate seeing all the ports.
To put it a less arrogant way, I stumbled through every second of the jumping puzzle and I’m so happy i didn’t port. I even made a friend midway through and we adventured to find the sample when nobody knew where it was.
It was the most fulfilling thing I’ve done on South sun yet, and people are robbing themselves of a great experience by porting.
Agreed.
As stated earlier in this thread, you don’t even need this sample to obtain the title in question. So sounds like the OP want a different title for completing all 11, is that right?
No. But what I do think is that the result of doing the puzzle maybe shouldn’t go toward the larger achievement+puzzle at all. It could have its own achievement, but not one that counts under this particular title.
I’m legally blind. I navigate dungeons, I PvP, I do plenty of stuff. One thing which I struggle at, however, is jumping puzzles. Oh, give me a few days and I might master it— but I might miss and miss and miss and miss and miss and miss and miss and miss and miss and miss and miss and miss and miss and miss and miss and miss and miss and miss and miss and miss and miss and miss and miss and miss and miss and miss that very same jump that everyone else gets, no problem.
Sad thing is, *I*am a mesmer. So it’s even worse when I fail, because the attitude is, ‘you suck’, because a mesmers’ job now is to portal folks over stuff they don’t want to do. (That cof path with the boulders is a good example— everyone makes the blind mesmer do it to portal them over while they hang back, when it would be just as easy to one, two, three, pause, four, five, done.)
So I take the darn portal, and I stick around to portal other folks. There’s probably someone in that group that has sight or motor problems, too.
If that means I don’t deserve the achievement, well, I work harder most of the time than you do to do the same content, and I don’t complain in the forums that brochachos have this game on easymode.
That is a very interesting viewpoint, thanks for sharing. I can see what you mean, that it would be very difficult to obtain the achievement for you, moreso than most. Awful that people treat you that way though.
Do you think there is a really better solution to the ‘issue’, than mesmer ports?
If it was ridiculously underused I might put it up just to be contrary, or also if it was quite silly and I found it amusing. Rarity in the ‘hard to get’ sense would only affect my choice in that I’d not have bothered with it unless it was incidental to something (for instance I do intend to eventually get full exploration, but it’s nothing to do with the title) or I liked the sound of it. So basically no different to a skin. If I get one I don’t want, no matter how rare it might be, I’m not equipping it.
Now if only I could put them up on sell orders as well…
I agree with you there. I’m also going to get all the exploration done, but that’s because I’m a completionist and have always been (and what a curse it can be…) I also happen to have a specific skin, but that’s more to do with the story/personality I have for the character.
As with anything that has no function but needs some doing to acquire, I use them (very rarely, because I dislike most) for decoration. Whether or not it was difficult to get is only relevant when I’m considering if it’s worth the bother (and rarity wise, Stalwart is right up there with obtaining blue items for karma – the requirements could be met by accident, and all you’ve got to do is select it).
When you say ‘decoration’, is it because you’d use one you think sounds good/fits with your character? Since you mention rarity, does rarity affect whether or not you’ll use a title?
Oh, I thought I’d found another use one time: when farming the Molten Facilities repeatedly for a few days, I selected ‘avenger of the dispossessed’ – but it didn’t stop people asking if I’d done it before.
Hmm, probably shows how little people actually pay attention to the titles. xD
Well, if it’s because you feel you can’t complete Living Story stuff anymore, then, as Pixelpumpkin said, you can still do Southsun.
Assuming that what you mean is that you don’t want this to happen again with Southsun and future events, I can understand you; while I don’t think the actual world should still be affected, an NPC (as someone else suggested at some point, unfortunately can’t remember who, but I wish to give them credit) should stand somewhere, who could tell you what had happened and then port you and a group into the old dungeons and see what happened/complete the achievements.
Can’t give you evidence, but I’d say the same as Galeskyring.
I’m still on the fence whether or not other classes should be able to do such teleports. On one hand it would heavily favor having a mesmer class for this, but then again some classes I feel have advantage to jumping that if they can port ppl, mesmers would be utterly neglected in this respect. As an example, for me, my ranger with her perma-speed boost, medium sized toon, and a skill with LONG stability duration, actually makes going through jumping puzzles the EASIEST, as opposed to my mesmer where I need to equip focus for TEMPORARY speed boost (what happens when u need to hold something else, like torches in the EB JP dark room section ) and a mantra for stability that lasts abt 2 seconds each only? If my ranger could port, where would my mesmer be? :P so i’ll stay on the fence with this.
Mesmer ports making money? Look, I think it is entirely up to them if they want to charge, but so far, on my server at least, I haven’t seen any “Will port ppl up jp for X gold” or such. Most are like me, we happily offer portal services, and if people feel they wanna give gifts of some currency, then we happily accept. Otherwise, its a free service. So if you don’t wanna pay, I think we can still find other mesmers who would port for free. My chief worry therefore is gold4port becomes an epidemic like people only wanting CoF1 runs for dungeons. This CREATES a problem when there should’nt be one so I can only advise mesmers to not make mandatory fee for their services. Let’s keep things friendly and fun.
Well that’s my opinion. :)
I can really see what you mean with being on ‘the fence’ about that. Though now I’m thinking that perhaps anet should do something regarding advantages/disadvantages. So that everyone’s equal. Yet maybe it’s a good thing because people will be used to i.e. a permanent speed boost, or maybe some enjoy the difference in difficulty.
Hopefully, most mesmers won’t charge a fee. I just recall I saw one or two in the chat yesterday saying they’d port for a gold.
Thanks a lot. ^^
I did the jumping puzzle before the update so having a mesmer port for the sample saved a lot of time.
That I can certainly see as being just fine, personally. Seeing as the puzzle was already done ealier. Again, that’s just my opinion.
What do you think about it when people haven’t done the puzzle though? Do you have any opinion on that?
In what sense are you using the word ‘honor’ then?
Very well, ‘honor’ might’ve been the wrong term, I’ll admit that. I can’t really come up with any other word to sum it up, but I believe a lot of people bear a title to show an accomplishment; that they managed to do something and they’re proud of that. That’s not necesarrily boasting. Especially during these events; people wearing this title right now possibly do it to show they did it; then they’ll possibly take another one of their choice when it’s over.
When do you (if you do) use a title and why, though? It doesn’t seem to me we agree on the matter.
I hope mesmer portals will continue as it is, I don’t feel it as cheating at all. I love the idea in fact, so much that one of the reasons I worked on my jumping skills and made my last toon a mesmer is to i can help port ppl up. Yea i enjoy doing that.
Interesting. What is your viewpoint on that only mesmers can make this portal then? Do you find that fair, or should others have a similar ability? I know some mesmers are making gold off it; what do you think about that?
LameFox, you didn’t get my point either. It’s not about me having a title. I don’t see a title as some way to “elevate” myself. My entire point, is the issue, the fact you can ‘cheat’ the JP, and I was curious about people’s opinion on the problem.
Jeez, one sometimes has to be surprised about how people cannot have a debate/discussion where they share their viewpoints without having aggression. =_= ..
True, the title only requires 25 achievements. But when people are able to cheat this way, then it kind of only requires 24. I’m aware the JP doesn’t link directly to the title, but it still does count toward it.
And Erdem, I’m not sure you got my point. This isn’t a problem about there ‘not being rewards’ for jumping puzzles, or ‘not being a good way to display the accomplishment’ or whatever. It’s about the exact opposite.
It affects the people who got the title without the JP as well.
Thanks for all the answers, people. I hope more have something to contribute.
Alright, maybe I’ll look like one of the few ‘whining’ about this. You can also choose to throw some insult at me. Though, I’m really just trying to have a debate about a possible issue; whether or not the Southsun Stalwart title has much less honor than it could’ve had.
Why? Because of how a lot of people used a mesmer portal to get to the islet.
I did the jumping puzzle; I know a lot of other people did it too. We can of course take pride in that and have that ‘yes, I did it!’ feeling.. but we can’t really use the Southsun Stalwart title to show it. Now, people, don’t say something ridiculous about boasting is bad or whatever. Titles are there to show your accomplishments; but anyone who did everything fairly can’t show any other accomplishment than those who used a portal.
(Edit: I’m also aware that the title is for completing 25 achievements; but I personally feel that it only requires 24 if you use the portals).
What do you guys ‘n girls think of this? Do you think using mesmer portals is cheating, or do you think it’s fair? What do you think Anet could’ve done differently?
I personally believe that the jumping puzzle (if anything) should’ve had a separate achievement and separate title, neither of which counted toward the ‘overall’ Southsun achievement/rewards. Unless there was an ‘ultimate’ achievement for completing all plus the puzzle.. (Edit: To clear up, the issue is not about ‘the jumping puzzle not having an achievement/etc. of its own, but that it can be ’done’ too easy and counts toward a larger achievement).
At very least, putting an object, required for an achievement, (which again is required for a reward and a title), at the end of a hard jumping puzzle, is only going to make people want to find an easier solution.
Edit: Having to include (for some reason that frankly isn’t very obvious to me, but maybe I didn’t make it clear enough) that this is meant as a discussion/debate about whether or not this is okay, and what you think about the issue. Is it an issue? Did you jump or use a portal, and what does it mean to you? (So on. That kind of questions..)
(edited by Cherrylin.5869)
Still recruiting. ^^
Okay, I’m not sure this goes here, but figuring I’m kinda ‘’looking for help’’, this was my best bet.
I’ve never complained about the lack of friendliness in GW2; I feel people are generally friendly, which was a huge improvement from the time I played WoW (now, maybe someone will disagree with me, but this is my experience throughout the years).
Though, with the Southsun events being on, and having been on overflow servers a lot recently, I can’t help but to notice that the people on the overflow server seems to be much more helpful and talkative than the people on the server I’ve chosen.
And really, that brings me to wonder; are people even nicer on the other servers? Or it is all coincidence?
Without mentioning my server for now, to get replies uninfluenced by where I play, I’m going to ask you people; What servers do you play on, and how do you feel the general population is? Are people friendly? Do they help or mock the newbies? Do you experience a lot of raging in PUG dungeons, or are people more accepting of wipes?
Thanks very much, guys!
I’ll conclude charr shed tears unless some valuable source says otherwise. ^^
If we look at all four, then 100% Flame Legion.
If I’m not mistaken, elementalists (and mesmers and necromancers) are easily looked a bit down on, because magic is something Flame Legion is more known for when it comes to charr.
I personally play a charr elementalist in Ash Legion, dualwielding daggers. I have a long story on my character and she does have Flame Legion blood though.
But as Dustfinger said, all legions will work. I just personally also think that Ash and Iron are a biiit better than Blood for an elementalist, since Blood is very very tough/harsh/etc., whereas I think elementalists look a bit more fragile and elegant. But that’s just my opinion. ^^
Good luck with it.
Crying/shedding tears is an emotional response, that, according to some articles, is a way to show others that we’re in a need of help and support. But there’s also the biological aspect of being able to shed tears, which humans obviously have, but cats don’t. And even though I agree with you, Dustfinger, that they’re ‘cat-like’ and not ‘giant cats’, they still have a feline head.
Alright we all know charr are too tough to cry.
But let’s think theoretically. If a charr was very upset, or incredibly happy, or in a lot of pain, would it cry tears?
As far as I’m concerned, humans are the only animals in real life that can shed tears (and here some smart guy probably tells me of some exception). Cats and whatnot the charr is made of, cannot.
Yet the charr is (probably?) considered a humanoid or human/beast hybrid of sorts, but while it has some human qualities, the overall anatomy (to me) still seems feline.
So what do you guys think/know? Would a crying charr shed tears or not?
Hello. I have sent you an in-game mail to your main character.
Hello, everyone!
I’ll try to cut this short so it won’t be a drag to read.
[FATE] (Fate’s Last Hope) has been lying dormant for a long while; it was one of the first guilds that were created, we had a small yet great start, but soon became inactive with few moments of players being online, including myself because of lack of time.
But now we’re reviving the guild, looking for new members, new and old of all levels AND looking for more experienced players for officer positions.
Quick about the guild: Casual PVX. We want to create a great community of friendly and helpful players that can ask in the chat for other people to join a dungeon, PVP match, help with personal story etc.. In short, a guild focused on the social aspect of the game.
Contact: You can contact me in-game under the name of ‘Sheila Dawnlight’, either by whisper or a mail. Contact if you’re interested in officer position.
Worth to mention: Remember, we’re almost starting off as a ‘new guild’ with banks and emblem. We don’t have a lot, but you could be one of the pillars to lift the guild to the sky. Come help out and make a guild that rocks! ^^
Feel free to ask questions or ask for more info! Of course asking doesn’t commit you to joining, and we don’t bite.
Thanks! I’m pretty far with FaF now, I’d say, (at very least in the achievements I only need to do Lost and Found and Secret Contact now, (save for the Alliance Breaker and Rallying Flame ones..))
I can’t really find those dirt/snow spots though, some people said they’re still there. Hmm.. :s
Pretty confused about that ‘Super Adventure Box’ thing.. What was that all about?
Alright, thank you! ^^
Thanks so far! I believe there’s a lot of catching up to do. Gonna take some time.. xD
I started a guild all the way back at release, which obviously has kind of died out with inactivity.. I want to restore it back up but need to get hang of the game again before I do that.
Do anyone have recommendations where I should start with the new stuff?
Hi, people!
I used to play quite a bit Guild Wars 2 from release till around after the Halloween event. Though, since, I haven’t really had the time to play but I’m getting back into the game now, and thought it’d be lovely if there was a few members out there who could tell me a bit about what’s new, what’s going on, what’s changed, what’s worth to know etc.. :3
I’m going to be reading up here and there of course but I’d still love if people could point out what they think is most notable changes and news, so I can get right back into the game. ^^
- Cherrylin
Excellent idea.
Support.
@Eraven; No. I was somewhat angry when I figured too, I think every achievement should count/be necessary to get that title.
@Adam; I’m not sure, sadly. As said, I didn’t get the 3/4 achievement after an hour later, and seeing as my team did win, I can’t confirm if it works without winning.
Yep, I have 3/4 in It’s a Mad King’s World now, but I didn’t get that point after an hour or so since I left the Rumble (odd).
I think it’s a bit annoying that the clock tower and carving doesn’t count.. but I’ll do them anyway, “only” 80 more pumpkins to go. XD
Alright, so I figured that Halloween Events Completed is events in the Mad King’s Labyrinth, and also did the Mad King’s Clock Tower.
However, I am at a loss about It’s a Mad King’s World. I figure it’s about exploring, but now I’ve been to both the labyrinth, clock tower, Lunatic Inquistion and Reaper’s Rumble, and my count only says 2/4. Anyone completed this and/or know how to/where to go?
I’m guessing Attend the Party is for tomorrow’s big event.
Hello everyone.
As an achievement hunter, I’m obviously wanting to get all of these Halloween achievements while I have the chance.. but I’m a bit lost and uncertain, and thought I’m probably not the only one. So here hoping we can start a little list.
I’m assuming that “Emissary of the Mad King” will be given at the completion of all the other achievements. Good good.
Halloween Huntin’ is all about kickin’ monster butt after opening the Haunted Doors.
Trick or Treats bags opened is self-explanatory.
Pumpkin Carving is about carving 150 pumpkins around the world.
However.
What about the remaining archievements? Are these just for the later Acts, or does anyone know how to get them now?
Including Halloween Events Completed. I got the Mad Memories book, but it that doesn’t seem to count for anything here.
It’s a Mad King’s World
Attend the Party
Mad King’s Clock Tower
- Now, of course it’d make just fine sense if these are achievements for the later Acts.. but asking just in case anyone figured otherwise.
Also, I did get an achivement during Custome Brawl, becoming a champion, however, I can’t really see where that one went.
[FATE] Fate’s Last Hope is a guild on the Desolation server for pretty much anyone :3

The longer version
Hello! :3
I’ll try to make this as bearable to read as possible, so it doesn’t look all fancy ‘n official and whatnot.. regardless, [FATE] is a currently small guild looking for pretty much anyone! We’re hoping to create a fun and helpful environment with a bunch of friendly players, newbies as well as veterans. Most of us are mainly casual, but we’d certainly love having some hardcore people peppin’ up the place! Our goal is to eventually have members (everyone, not just the ‘higher ups’) arrange dungeon runs or tournaments, and we intend that much of our communication will happen through the in-game chat.
Our only real rule is that we’re 100% against bashing/flaming one another. But that’s a rule that’s really easy not to break! ^^
Also, we understand that GW2 doesn’t take priority over real life, so there’s not going to be any hard feelings if you don’t play much. We have no level requirements, and you’re not forced to choose a specific profession or crafting just to be part of us.
You’re more than welcome to ask us questions, in-game as well as in this post! Also, don’t feel awkward or forced to join just because you have a question or want more information.
Also, when it comes to voice chatting.. We don’t have anything at the moment, but do intend to get it eventually. That said, it will never be a requirement to be part of that.

Bottomline for those who don’t like reading a bunch of text
We’re an international guild looking for friendly and helpful members. Our goal is to create a society people can enjoy and have fun in, and not feel outside! We love a good laugh, and if you want to be part of creating that, you’d be more than welcome!
