In some places only ultra has the bug in others ultra doesnt but everything under it does.
Reinstall does nothing.
doing guild missions yesterday and it was happening in the ghost wolf guild race cave
As far as I know this only happens in the aerodrome but one of the guys with the 1070 says he has seen it elsewhere. It mostly happens over certain shadows near lights in the aerodrome and the corruption only appears in the bottom right under the map then extending along the bottom

xera is such a miserable fight at the moment, it feels like it’s getting worse every patch
not being able to res people without sloting skills seems to happen more and more
We had the 2 spirits switch person 3 times in under a second, very weird I dunno if it’s intended cause some runs it doesn’t happen at all.
We’ve also had the keep construct spawn halfway up the wall for burn phase
Also everyone dying when there’s 2 people in each circle.
Only fought this boss for 3 hours all up since it was released and seen these multiple times.
sent some reports dunno how useful they are to vids tho

friday friday friday
Do like others and play a different game for dungeon type content, it’s done here.
If you’re going to charge for a basic QoL improvement at least put one or two in for free first like bag and bank slots.
Price on these shouldn’t be over 200 gems imo. I’ve never seen as much backlash against a gw2 cash shop item in guild/map chat .
I also have this issue on my account.
Been a month, still broken.
Play a round of pvp and get a yellow block next to your name, play a billion years of wvw and get nothing.
Some dude in LA won’t know me from some random scrub, surely as a bronze assaulter i’m due some prestige.
17% of failures are “cat walking across keyboard”
Repair anvil before every boss.
No but timer is the easiest way.
I’m sure there will be, it was a success the last 3 years.
Okay, do something you don’t enjoy. That’ll show everyone.
Just wait for the difficulty modes, no need to get worked up.
Yeah there’s a bit of RNG in the vale fight, I dunno I don’t think its that bad compared to something like fallen masks.
Scribing is awful, I hope it gets fixed.
Unfortunately raids like every other part of HoT contains a massive grind.
I was there too, we were only running 6 people and one of the missing guys was our recorder so sorry no footage. :/
Wow this must be the world first vale kill i’m impressed, post more screenshots.
They didn’t even have enough time to add difficulty modes or a LFG system before getting the expansion out. What your’re asking would take them years at their current pace.
I do agree they need something to bridge the gap between dungeons and raids but it’s probably going to be a tiered raid. Anything else costs too much time and money.
Personally I think arena net should remove the secret mouse gesture that kills him instantly.
Most will probably just quit GW2 and find something else to do.
The special few will dig deep, make the necessary changes, improve their rotations and become a better player. This the special kind of player everyone would want to have on their team.
you are an elitist.
I know I’m being elitist asking for dps meter and leader boards but I also advocate for difficulty modes and LFG seen in almost every other mmo. I’m not mumbling “bearbow” under my breath while greedily clutching content to my chest terrified that casuals will pollute it with their cooties.
Your reply is too sensible. I prefer the crazy Cletus so that we’re reminded of why DPS meters are a bad idea.
Edit: Actually I do mumble “bearbow” under my breath so I guess I’m the crazy one :P .
I know I sound crazy advocating DPS meters and leaderboards at the same time as difficulty modes and lfg. I’m getting flak from both sides, you should see the whisperS im getting!
But I think its the best for the health of the game and community, most of these features really improved other games when they were brought in.

It’s a useful tool. I’m never going to argue for less features in a game, gimmie more.
I’m sure they can work around it, it’s worthwhile feature to have.
I’m well aware of the pace at which features are added I know I’ll probably be waiting over a year for it.
Cmon, we have raids already. There’s nothing to fear from them they’re a useful tool.
People have asked for colourblind friendly features for years.
ANET are not going to allow significant dev time to be used on a small player base, that time is too valuable. Fractals have less of a barrier to entry than raids and in 4 days time it will be 2 years since fractals received a new map.
Quite simply they want raids to be a big success in player numbers, anything else is naive.
I also want raids to be a big success, outside of WvW I ain’t had as much fun as I’ve had fighting gorse. But it’s going to need a bit of extra features to get there: DPS METER, a functioning LFG system, easy/normal/extreme modes and of course, leaderboards!
Everyone has the ability to lie or make mistakes, some more than others.
I’ll take software code over human nature every single time.
The raids do seem rushed, the lack of dps meter, lfg, difficulty modes and other basic raid features found in other games points to that.
But even if they had these things a raid is always unclear before you actually get in and practice it, you WILL need to know everything by heart, easy/normal/extreme modes won’t change that. Don’t worry it doesn’t take TOO long.
There’s been a few PUG guardian kills, the problem is it’s very annoying to get a group going without proper LFG support. The squad system is very janky.
I don’t have this problem as I’m in a raid guild but I feel for people.
That’s a shame, I quite enjoyed the raid so far. I’d hate to see it end up dead like dungeons and sab or no new content for over 2 years like fractals.
To each their own.
Telling someone their dps is terrible and they’re bad IS helping them, they’ll do one of two things.
Most will probably just quit GW2 and find something else to do.

I already explained why they will abandon the raids, lack of players.
The last fractal was added in November 2013, it’s not going to happen.
Anything that has a low player population is either killed off or abandoned, ANET are very metrics focused developer which is a smart way to do things.
This is WoW all over again.
I’m really hoping the lack of features of these raids (LFG, difficulty modes, dps meter) is just a case of them having to rush the expansion out before Christmas.
There’s a lot of basic raiding features competing games have had for years that are completely absent from the current raids in this game.
I’m not risking my account on some dodgy third party program, apart from the security issues it’s against the rules.
Anyone that has raided in other MMOs knows that difficulty modes are an inevitability, it’s not a question on IF they’re going to be added but WHEN.
Anyone who is aware of GW2’s history in regards to the last 3 years and is a fan of the raids as they currently are better hope and pray they add some kind of difficulty system otherwise this current raid will be the last one ever added.
Personally I don’t mind if 99% of players want modes added, I’d take that over a nerf and no choice on the matter. They can do their mode and I can do mine, it’s worked well in other games.
DPS meter is absolutely crucial, if someone isn’t putting the effort needed to beat the encounter they need to be gkicked and blacklisted from future runs.
Failure is not an option and can’t be ignored.
Raid finder will not be supported but LFG is, who knows why they didn’t add it in yet.
People said wvw was dead cause of the HoT maps and it’d get better after a few weeks, it didn’t People are now saying HoT maps are empty cause of raids, this is even less likely.
There’s a bigger issue here.
Here it is in Laymen terms for people who still don’t get it. Raids=Difficult. It is what it is. You people want to essentially make the raid no longer a raid. It is like you want to take a square and make it round. It just isn’t round its a square. That is its purpose in life. The raids were not made for you get over it.
Now look at your post from a commercial point of view. I don’t necessarily agree raids should be ultra hard, and by no means do I agree with them having to be easy. But if the raids are only for a few elite players, the development priority of raids will plummet.
With the amount of people that do raids, that would put it well below WvW. It’s not a good place to be.
Oh wow these guys, are these the same guys from WoW? It’s incredible they got accepted to test in the first place with that kind of rep.
I’m surprised there’s backlash against a casual version, a nerf is the only other option apart from difficulty modes and no one wants to see that.
Extremely important.
