Let me rephrase everything: I have a ranger zerk, a guardian PVT (power vitality thougness) and a necro with sinister status (mainly condition damage power precision).

Soo, since I wanted a raid based
char out of this 3… I searched around and decided that my necro was the one closest to a raid possibility.

At the moment, my necro have 5 “Viper” acessories, one “sinister” backpiece. My armor were changed recently to “Viper”.

I need Too be 100% sure of this next step: which weapons are used in a necro condition damage ready for raid?

Please help me here with explanations of which weapon and why…

Thats right there is one of the currently possible meta chooses for a necro in raids.

I do think a good conditioner necro is still very much usable in raids yeah. “Signet of Vampirism” skill, for example, is a sweet healing skills that every people in the party can heal from.

For pvp I honestly have no clue mister.

At the moment, I have :

guardian power + vitality + thougness with greatsword / Scepter + Focus.

ranger zerker with greatsword / longbow

necro viper’s with scepter + Focus / Staff.

Ok, this is the deal: I want to do a raid char, based in condition damage, which will definately be my necro. I want to have him using scepter + dagger (and not focus) / greatsword (and not staff).

Its my plan too remove the greatsword from my guardian or ranger and give to my necro, changing the stats.

This is what I want to know: I want both my ranger and my guardian too use something diferent then greatsword, soo that I will only have one necro in my account using a greatsword weapon and no one else.

Which others weapons are nice for a pvt guardian and a zerker ranger, besides the greatsword?

Hello there, misters and ladies. What I need is a little strange but bear with me and read on…

Lately, I am having a certain “inventory space problem”. No matter how many chars I have, no matter how I try too organize my slots, I always feel like I could use more space. Unfortunatelly, my real life is kicking in and I no longer have the time too play this game and farm as much as in the past 2 years… Which is a shame, really.

I do have a personal char only too carry extra “crafting items” but they are items that fill my inventory quick and are usually worth barely nothing (neverthless, I am saving them for eventually starting crafting and because I have a little bit of OCD).

What I am asking here is one of two things:

1º Someone gift me a “additional bank tab”. That would definately help me sorting out my items a little bit better.

IF anyone is willing too gift me this, I will make sure I give him at the very least the gold I am currently carrying too him, too at least show some apreciation. At the moment of this post, that would have been 75 gold.

2º The second option is a little diferent… Since I already have 75 gold saved myself, I can buy the gems if I can get 166 gold total. Therefore, that may be a little more doable too some of you.

Soo, too resume:

Server : Europe
Desire : “Bank Tab Expansion” and I would pay you all my gold, at the moment, 75 gold.

OR

75/166 → 90 gold, that way I can buy it myself

Ask guild if anyone needs any help (typical, there is some pve stuff people usually ask help with)

Do shatterer, dragon stand, multi looting auric basin (usually twice a day), farming bloodstones in the new map…. Do TT with gw2 community if the time is right.

world vs world with my necro for 20 minutes, more if we actually are in a good position.

Do a daily bolt of damask and/or Elonian square ascended stuff.

Go too the priory waypoint, turn 25 quartz crystal.

If I have time and patience, go AP farming (I have 9545 AP’s atm, soo I like too try too aim for that 10k AP chest)

I had your problem also… Not 10 tries but at least 5…

I ended up for doing the lazy way: party of 5, died early, let others finish the instance for me.

Maybe you should try that…?

A little insight:

I have done all adventures in verdant brick…35 target in “shooting gallery” which is a silver medal, 5 target from gold.

All the other adventures in verdant were done and won with gold medal.

Soo, I arrive in tarir basin… I have silver medalss in all adventures there… Until I arrive in the last one… “A fungus among us”…

3 hours already on it, watch 2 or 3 diferentes vídeos in YouTube…and I can BARELY made too 50% of the Race! Yes, not even 50%, let alone going for a bronze medal…

From what I ser, everyone on the vídeos use skill number “2” too do insane leaps… And I cant even use the skill well. That momento when you can target where you want too go is soo fast most of the time I cannot pull it…

I do have the speed mushroms unlocked already…

Does anyone have any kind of Hints (besides watching vídeos) about this particular adventures…?

Soo, long story short: Today, I did auric basin event and for whatever reason, I actually turn on the in game music… While doing the event… And then, this soundtrack started…

I was totally taken away by it. And this coming from someone that also greatly likes other OST from this game (“battle with the tamini” is another OST I really love). Great hands up too the person that have been able too come up with this stuff.

Am I the only one around here that actually likes this stuff? Or am I alone here…?

Exploit or not, one thing is true too me: nothing, but really no other activity you can do in this game cames EVEN CLOSE too the money per hour you can do with it.

Therefore, yes, it may be a exploit for some, it may not… But it stills a way too do money thats MUCH BETTER than anything else.

I think a nerf into this is in order… At the very least… Something like raise the exalted keys prices would probably work…

Unfortunatelly, I dont really know for sure which backpieces can have the stats choose I need…

I dont mind too use some gold if needed, if the backpiece is a little more expensive than usual, I guess I wouldn’t mind a lot…

I know the one in blood fen (or whatever the new map name is) can have sinister stats, but I dont know if I have in myself too farm a extra 200 rubies stuff…

Down too the bussiness: I have a necromancer that have recently hit level 80. Since this was my third char, I was already aware of how too get and craft ascended items.

I have already a ranger zerker and a guardian PVT (power vitality thoughness) both in full ascended. I wanted my third char, a necro, too be a char for world vs world based in condition damage.

After checking wiki and reading some guides, I thought that “sinister” stats would be the best for what I wanted… Unfortunatelly, I have been unable too find trinkets with the stats I wanted. I found easily items with main precision + secondary condition damage + power, but NOT what I wanted, which was MAINLY condition damage and then secondary power + precision.

I did my ascended weapon for my necro, a staff with sinister stats, using south wastes recipes… Soo I guess its possible too craft at the very least weapons with the stats I want.

I do have all professions at max level (which means jewel / food at 400, 500 all the others)

Soo now some answers:

1º Is it possible too get trinkets ascended with main condition damage, power + precision as secondary stats? If yes, how and where?

2º What about the backpiece? I do have a madrew ready too go without stats, but that one doesnt have the sinister stats I am looking for…

3º I have done, like a big kitten, a ascended light armor chest with wrong stats (I think its called frostmarge or something, main precision + secondary power + condition damage stats. I am planning in keep using that but eventuallly… should I trade it for a “sinister” stats later on the game or no point in trading that?

Hello misters and ladies. At the moment I have a ranger zerker and a PVT guardian.

I wanted to do a condition damage char, one that uses ligth armor (that way I am kind of forced too do ascended gear and have a goal again xD )

Any suggestions? A class that I can use nicely in world vs world (my guardian is usually a pvp char, my ranger a dungeons/pve char soo someone for world vs world would be nice)

Hummm… What I do daily… Interesting…

• Dungeon tour (AC all path + COF p1, p2)

• Tequatil/Triple Wurm murdering!

• Fractal 20-39 (I learned too love this stuff but I always do it with pugs… and sometimes its worst than death itself!)

After that, it really REALLY varies depending on my mood.

UAU this is definately a interesting post… Soo many things I can talk about… Lets see…

• I hate too see people selling dungeons paths, especially ruined city of arah / twilight arbor. Makes me remember how hard it was for me too actually get the dungeon master achievement, I literally was forced too bent over…

• I do tequatil / triple wurm daily, I hate too see people trash talking in worldchat during them.

• People going guildless and trying too get turrets during tequatil kills just too troll makes me sad.

• Players with commanding tag on saying the worst insults in world chat (God! In labryth, during this new halloween event, you see soo much of thoses…)

• I was, in the not that distant past, in a guild that requires 100% representation… And I was never able too get something as simple as a 5 guildies players for a dungeon like AC or COF. Guild leaders that are reading this, put this in your kitten mind: Dont ask for 100% guild representation if you do ABSOLUTELY NOTHING with your own guildies. No dungeons, no fractals, no world bosses kills, not even guild runs or WvsW runs each week is just pathetic…

• Dont ask for “5k AP players or kick” for some event when you are in that party with 3k AP’s. First of all, AP means totally kitten. Second, doing something like that is just rude and stupid. Lastly, dont ask for requeriments you are unable too follow yourselve.

• There is life beyond “zerker or GTFO”. I crinch everytime I read one of thoses in the “LFG” tool.

• I dont mind people playing badly in fractal 1-9, I dont even mind that much some level of unskill from pugs with me in fractals 10-19. But playing like a dog in a fractal 20-39 is just unnaceptable.

And now too the positives!

• I go out of my way too teach any player that says “I never did this”. More times than usually, this also means talking about game stuff for minutes with the player.

• I always congratulate any player that gets a exotic drop in party/guild chat, even if its just a useless 32 silver worth exotic.

• I have the utmost respect for commanders that take their time too help others with worldbosses kills. TKS and gw2 community teamspeak commanders have always got (and they always will ) my respect.

• I actually like the players that aren’t level 80 but have the balls too try AC / COF paths with other players in party. They may be weaker than a 80, they may lack the skills or experience, but they sure as hell have more motivation too end that content than most level 80’s.

Can I expect too buy the number of gems I want in game (not 400 gems or 400 increments) before the halloween patch is over? If yes, then I can somehow apologize this behavior from Arenanet. If not… then I surely know what too expect in the future from this company and I can be sure I move my money too better “dry waters”

First, let me give you a little insight of myself: I have been a member of TxS guild for around 2 months. Unfortunatelly, I left my usual normal guild and was forced too find out another one. VOLT guild was my choose. This is the first rule, straight from VOLT site:

“Representing the guild is a must and is required 100% of the time. We do not mind if you will be using your own private guild for the guild bank as long as it is only quickly”

I played in TxS for 2 months, I totally loved the work that players (players? INCREDIBLE KIND PERSONS!) like Fettered, Chiiwii, Lannah, Erza R put on doing tequatil/wurms runs. It was a incredible hard decision too do but I did the honourable thing: I left TxS, joined Volt and made sure I followed Volt guild rules, as much as that hurted me.

Someday, it can happen that my guild, VOLT, will change the rules (I for one will be incredible happy with such a decision) but until that happens I will keep doing the runs I loved soo much another way (help in random maps or do with other communities)

Now, why I am writing all this big wall of text? I want too give you a explanation about this simple fact: I have been in the two sides of this coin soo I am definately a experienced player too talk about this, considering both sides.

Txs/Teamspeak gw2 community runs /all other worldbosses running guilds are only trying too protect AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE what they have: They want too be able to do the worldbosses taking as little risks of failing as possible. They are the ones going out of their ways too spend time, train commanders and explaining stuff over and over… Risking failing worldbosses means not the fail for one player, but the fail of a entire map.

If you look at that side of the coins, then the rest comes naturally: its only natural that they try too have as much coordenation and skilled people, people in Teamspeak, too avoid failure.

Its soo easy too troll triple wurms kills (or even tequatil runs, if 6 trolls get the turrets, you are done for) if a bunch of players join a map with that intention on their mind.

You are a normal player (exactly as I am at the moment) that happens too enter maps with organized runs: dont take any insults from any commander (If they do it, report them), try too help the organized runs (Always remember this fact: if nobody organizes runs, nobody would kill this stuff) but showing your owning independance at the same time.

For example, if you know that there is a little better way of doing things in a tequatil map, you should do the best you can, not following blindly a commander that knows less than you. Make sure you thz the commanders if the run is good and nice, but pm them after a run if you think they did a mistake and could have done anything better (believe me, a good commander is always ALWAYS willing too listen too advices)

Sorry for the big wall of text, in the end its something like this: respect others too be respected, understand both sides of this situation and you are good too go!

Doing the world boss Tequatil with TxS (which happens too be a guild that does this daily) on Splintered Coast map with ip .68

The tequatil run, even with coordinate people using Teamspeak, was a experience that I pray too God I will never EVER EVER again have on this game. Incredible big latency, “defend the battery” event took us like 5 minutes in real life instead of the usual 2 minutes of defence, general madness, people getting destroyed left and right due too the big latencies. It was a entire map lagging, not just some people.

I hope you can somehow sort of this mess

No answer on this, in the meanwhile, I tried +2 wurm runs, one of them no chest.

I have been looking around (I think its far time you actually make the “search” forum button work) and I found out a topic 5 months old showing the same problem…

I had a chat with a very experienced player on this kind of runs and the only things he suggest was:

-Crimsom wurm seems too be the wurm where must of this problems happens, trying too kill other wurms heads may help me improve my chances.
- Make sure you are in a party while doing triple wurm. It may be a lack of damage bug or something, being in a party will usually means you get more dps.
- Dont waste your time sending in game tickets, you will only make the system of tickets even more saturated and no answer will came out of it.
-Keep bumping the post and dont hold a lot of hope on it.

Can we have some kind of update, ANY UPDATE, any word, on this?

5 months is a little too much…

I am a player that have both a guardian and a ranger and I try to do triple wurm worldboss at least once a day.

For the past weeks, I have been notice that a lot of times, I dont seem too get my “The Wurm’s Golden Chest” as a reward from completion of the event. I still get the normal big wurm chest, just not that one. It have happen with a frequency that is starting too make me worry: on my last 10 triple wurms kills, only got “The Wurm’s Golden Chest” 6 times out of 10.

I dont think its a damage problem, cause I am walking with full ascended(both in my guardian and in my ranger), I have even tried dps focused builds on both of them too rule out lack of damage… but its all the same the chest doesnt appear too me every single time I end the event.

I would love some answer on this subject.

You dont talk about obsidian shars… are you sure you have them? You can get with karma coins via some npcs related too temple eventos (for example, after you do the temple of Balthazar, a npc there will spawn and let you buy obsidian for like 2 hours), you can get obsidian with fractal coins also… and there may be more ways but I am sure most people just use karma too get them.

Soo many posts and hardly anyone talking about dungeon selling.

Too me, this kind of stuff have bad effects and good effects. Dungeon selling was and still is something that I could never agree with. having a bunch of players selling dungeons INSTEAD OF ACTUALLY teaching other players how to do them its a disgrace in my eyes. I have actually blacklisted 3 people after knowing they were doing it, 2 of them good in game friends.

People actually buying this dungeons too get achievements or whatever they want without doing any effort are also at fault here, of course: they make this kind of merchant alive and kicking.

Soo yeah, in the end of the day, personally, if they can end up with dungeon selling with this move, then I am all game for it.

I personally use the ts.GW2community.com (gw2 community teamspeak) when I want to go for Tequatil runs. You only need too listen too the commanders words, dont even have too talk back and make sure you are on TS at the very least 30 minutes before Tequatil events start.

Now, I am not saying I cannot kill him in random maps, I am just stating that your odds will surely improve if you try it like that.

I am sitting at 112% personal magic find at the moment, in the last 3 weeks I have done one fractal run 20-39, AC all paths, COF 2 paths, tequatil kill as MINIMAL DAILY gameplay.

I have recently upgraded one of my ascended rings, Crystalline Band, too the infused version (Crystalline Band (Infused))

I tried too search around here too understand a little better whats diferent now but I am totally clueless…

I thought that with this I would have a ring with a agony resistance slot + a slot for a jewel … But looks like it doesn’t work like this… Soo I went inside fractal, got a +5 versatile agony resistance and put it on my ring… but now I dont understand whats next….

Does having a infused ring means that I can have 2 versatile agony resistances on the same item? Or I did a mistake by putting a versatile agony in the defensive spot of this ring? And if I did, how can I “empty” it again? Could someone be kind enough too explain too me a little better the ascended ring infused diferences?

Hello there my fellow archers players. At the moment, I am having here some thoughts on my mind and I would love some opinions on this.

I am a player that plays this game for 10 weeks now and I am slowing working my way for ascended armor (boots done, have enough to do +2 pieces but since my fractal level is only 21 haven’t seen the need too do more armor ascended armor atm, since I am sitting at 30 AR atm).

I definately prefer pve over pvp, doing at least 5 dungeon paths daily and one fractal run daily as minimal game play. I have a ranger with “zerker” stats. Soo I was thinking in starting buying runes and put them in my ascended boots… And that’s when I hit a wall:

I could use either Rune of the Ranger on the boots and work for the 6 rune set (+7% with pet active, which is pretty much a lot of times, since I use jungle pet for party might / bear for debuff) or I could go for the one that a lot of people seem too find good, Rune of the Scholar. My only doubt about going for rune of the scholar straight away its because of the condition: more damage when one have 90% total life or higher is not something that usually happens a lot for me, playing as a meele ranged zerker.

Can I get any opinions on this? what do you guys think about this 2 runes choose?

First, I would like too give a little inside into my head/char.

I have a level 80 ranger from playing this game for 6 weeks now. I have my artifician level at 37 and cooking level at the pathetic level of 5.

Atm, I want too skip buying exotic acessory items and go straight too ascended acessory items. I already have a ascended necklace, bought with laurels + badge of honor.

Now too the hearth of the matter: I am not bothering with skins or anything, just the stats.

I tried too look around, asked guildies but I still have a lot of questions…

1º What are the ways too get ascended acessory gear (not gonna bother with armor for a while)?

2º Which one is considered the different “approach” I have to do for this?

My line of thought ATM its somehere along this lines: rings with the "ferocity, precision, power) status I want I was planning too farm fractals and buy them. the other 3 items I was planning in using the guild commentations currency too start farming/getting them.

Could someone answer my 2 questions and also ready my thoughts too try too explain me a little better how/what to do from here?
