Stinger, I mainly pve and am a new to the game got it six months ago and never got past 30, but I, back and active and am loving the game! How big is your league? I forget my server name, but I understand the guesting.

Just saw your website I like it! Not massive I was with this league when I started and it was massive so smaller is better!

So I know I have posted a few times on classes, but I think I finally am getting the hang of my Mesmer and I love it! I am not level 40 and I enjoy it I can actual handle more than one mob with ease! I would advise anyone to get the razor mmo mouse helped me out a lot.

So now down to the question

I am leveling is there a way to get better gear or do I just get that crap gear from the merchant where it goes up every 5 levels.

Also weapons I feel like it is the same too. I am trying to craft some, but there never any good. I tried YouTube, but they are all legendary and I know I have to be 80 for that.

Any hints or tricks to gain better gear?

When I first use he map it takes some time to get everything gathered. Like I can’t see where the hearts, vistas or POI are.

The writing on the trading post is all blotchy not clear.

Should I adjust my in game setting, if so, which ones.

We’ll I don’t play many mmo the only one I played was dcuo and those people had some crazy forums for help down to the T.. I really want to switch to a engineer, but I here it can be difficult. I’m watching videos on it, but i don’t see how it is because you can only have one weapon it looks easy for a far..

Thank you this actual helped me a lot. I am just shocked that no one made a forum for all the terms used in the game.. I will not worry to much about the gear just try and level I am actual switching it up am going to do do half story and map completion.. Cause finding all the vistas and hearts can be time consuming..

So I am a level 35 Mesmer love the game amd doing everything alone AT the moment, but am fine with that. What I really need is some guide that tells me all the terms that you guys use on the forums and where to get different types of armor.

For example: Zerg (or whatever you guys call it) is that armor or is it people?

I have been looking for the living story, but don’t know where it is lol do I have to be level 80 to do that?

The different type of gear like tier 1 or tier 2 is that in this game? Or is it end game..

As for leveling I am doing map completion have done 4 of the starting maps kind of boring. I saw a video on the queensdale trail, but no one seems to do it was kind of sad lol.. Hate grinding to 80.. Wish the level cap was 30 lol

I realize I am low level and most of this I will get when I’m 80.. But I don’t have a clue what any of the stats do like power and the other ones I can’t remember. There must be a guide someone made that I could read. I feel like it could take 8 hours to read lol..

I just hope someone can point me to the right direction.

Oops, I do use the numbers for the attacks. I just always forget which ones to choose lol.. I didn’t know I can move with he trolled I’m going to try that.. I did do a ranger at one point and liked it, but I thought it was very cookie cutter and simple.. Just didn’t think mesimer was this hard. Lol

Is there a way I can buy a new profession. Level 35 took me two weeks.. Lol

That was very helpful! I think I’m sucking cause I’m not really use to a mice and keyboard lol.. I just bought a mice with 12 buttons. So hope that works! It’s a mmo mice! I actual was looking at eng, but I heard they were very similar to mesimer skill level. I may just try Mesmer for a little bit longer cause I do really like it. I have trouble with the whole kiting and pressing the right keys. I know what moves and things I want to do just can’t click them when it gets tight.. Lol

So I got GW2 a few months ago, and this game is not really a team type of game for new players. I took a break and now I’m back. I have a level 35 Mesmer and I have so much trouble leveling up with Mesmer. The Mobs that I have to go against are so tough for me and I die a lot. I realize hat this game takes at least a month to hit 80 at least for me.

So I have been watching Mesmer guides on YouTube and I have found some good builds to go by, but it is still hard. Maybe it is my army? If new where to get better armor that would be great! but I don’t. The only mmo I have played was dcuo and that game is different a lot. So I am thinking maybe Mesmer is not for me or does it get better? I went to the mist area to try all the traits and practice, but I still have trouble. What would be a good class for me to level up fast so I can start running with actual people? I was thinking engineer? Any suggestion.

So when I play the game my whole screen shakes and I have black lines shaking. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but nothing,. The only way for me to clear it is to go to a smaller screen and then go to setting and go full screen. Anyone else have this problem..

I’m in a league, but no one is ever reaping the league so no one ever talks. If I ask for help they ignore.. I want to know what the purpose of guilds in gw2 because right now it seems useless.. Also, how come no one Evers uses mics.. I come from console gaming and miss talking to people.. Typing is boring lol

I having trouble with my mesmer. I’m level 30 and new to the game. I don’t know if I should worry about it right now, but I want to get better. When ever there are multiple enemies I have so much trouble. I see gurdians and warriors crush things I just wish I could..

My traits are not that good since I’m only level 30, but for weapon I use staff main

And use sword/foucus/pistol

I’m sort of using shattering a lot right now for my traits I have 10/0/0/010… But like I said I’m only level 30 and new..

I have a Mesmer and I love it! I just want some people to talk to either by voice or typing.. I am not the best at the game, but am reading and trying to find the best build for me. I want to be great and am looking for some people to enjoy my time with! I am still new to the game and am hoping to do PVE and PVP so I am open for anything.

Also, I really hate my server so I am not imposed to pay to switch my server or guest for awhile.. The one thing I don’t want though is a league with crazy amount of members..

I’m a Mesmer level 16 just got the game two weeks ago! Took me a week or more just to find my class!

I am a dedicated player and am going to improve this is my first pc MMO, but I did play dcuo for to years on the ps3.. I like it all and want to be the best at it all.. Just looking for people to actual talk with while I explore and level..

Quick question is there voice chat in game? Or do we have to use third party like Skype..

Dreamy what’s going on! I am trying to figure out what I like! But I am much better with controls and re-rolled a Mesmer… So much better than ranger! Although I feel like a Mesmer is week at low level.. It’s still fun!

So I decided to delete my Asura and I’m glad I did being a human is so much better.. I actual see people leveling up and there all so helpful! I’m new and people are super friendly which is awesome too! Being a Mesmer is so much fun compared to ranger although, I feel like the ranger is a little stronger..

I will have to keep a eye out for these.. Joining a guild would be awesome! I tend to play a lot and like people interactions just don’t really want to spend 30 bucks for gems. So hopin there is a great guild or people in NS..

Not my first MMO and I love this game, but I am getting semi-bored leveling by myself.. I am only level 10( only have about 8-10 hours) been exploring a lot and the controls were tough for me at first.. I am a console gamer..

I am on northern shiverpeaks. NA and am est time. I will be any race just looking to meet some people and have fun leveling and explore the game with! Am also 24.

I feel the same! I love this game, but running alone can be very boring.. The only events I have run into are small and not really intense.. Could be because I’m only level 10, but not sure.. I do like this game though. Just not sure my ranger class is for me!

Just one more tip. To do the world vs wolrd events do I have to be max level? Or is Ed game content for all the levels? Is max level 80?

So I am brand new at this game. Just got a pc. The only MMO I ever played was DCUO on my ps3 so I understand the MMO terms and get the whole concept.. I currently have a human, But where are the factions? Like good vs evil..

If I ever did team up with someone do we have to be the same race? And if I am correct every class can be a healer?

Do a lot of people play this game? I hope so I just spent 60 bucks lol..

I was a healer on dcuo just got bored of the game same thing over and over again and the devs just didn’t care!

Also, what are the classes?
