Even the thought of ‘turning off’ a feature in a game because it doesn’t suit a certain time zone is not even worth a discussion. People work random hours all over the globe why would Dev punish someone because they don’t fall into the ‘normal’ server time zone?

Let’s get back to congratulating all servers on good battles!

I want to hear more about the ‘battle hardened’ BlackGate SEA crew who apparently haven’t trained their NA comrades. Those doors might appear more intimidating during the NA time slot.

Oh hi you must be new here. JQ stacked their server and all the world was right. BG tried that approach and their world suddenly was perfect. Seems many of the JQ/BG posters have short memories. Or simply stupid.

I seem to recall ‘words of advice’ from JQ back when we were part of SoS. When our participation dwindled they told us we ‘had plenty of players we just need to recruit those PvE’er to WvW’

who really cares about the end score. I’m experiencing some of the most epic fights since the SoS/JQ/SBI matchups.

Need more posts like this! All 3 servers have some awesome guilds that bring out the best each fight.

If you’re seriously hurt by your server not winning the points race at the end of each week you might try simply waiting until the next cycle when your server will be on top. Or, delete the game and go play in the freeway. Hopefully that will take care of all your woes.

CA is a guild that formed on BG a bit over a month ago. It’s an international guild but most of their players are in the SEA timezone from what I understand.

From the SoR side of the fence, BT seems like a solid guild and a worthy opponent. T1 has plenty of solid guilds. Crying because they broke up a GvG kitten fest is similar to whining because someone killed you when you were picking onions.

Rooting for SoS! Although I gained mass respect for TC I gotta root for a former home.

Since DB turned into a bunch of whiners I can’t bring myself to root for my original home. So sad

Only got about an hour of WvW last night but had fun dancing with Agg on JQ BL. These fights are what keep us going. AOE auto-loot makes a Necro happy

We were missing a couple of our melee but it wasn’t excuse worthy. From fighting them, they really aren’t doing anything much different than us… they just did it better. Simply put, we got out played.

I am glad RG handed us our kitten because I have been saying for weeks we have been playing like kitten. They proved me right. We got complacent, lazy, and paid the price for it.

Hopefully we will learn something, get our kitten together, and be able to give you a worthy rematch.

This is what makes this game fun for many of us. Whether it’s a new strat or a guild just doing something better raises the bar for so many guilds that push to improve. Some guilds just don’t care and there is nothing wrong with that but there are a handful of other guilds that take a loss as a challenge to step up their own game. These guilds welcome a beating with open arms as a chance to improve themselves. Glad to be part of one of those.

Much respect to those guilds that make us all better. Might be some bad blood between certain guilds but the respect is still there.

Awesome fights last night on reset. SoR BL had some serious juggernaut battles!

I did have to chuckle last night with a brief battle at Bay. We got the outer door down and cleared out a wave of occupants just inside the doors. JQ showed up behind us so we jumped over the wall and down on top of them. Once we eliminated this threat we turned to get back inside and resume only to find the doors had closed after an upgrade went through. I could see on the ground through the slits in the door a sea of bags calling out to me. Scouts reported a threat across the map so we moved on but not after I glanced back one last time while a single tear ran down my cheek as they vanished out of sight …

Salute to all WvW’ers! Let’s enjoy the individual skirmishes and forget about the score!

Gained a lot of respect for TC this week. You guys have some solid organized guilds that really move well. Mad props.

Hopefully everyone had fun this week and learned a thing or two from each other. So many complaints about this match-up but if you boil it down to just having fun and learning a thing or two you’re much better off down the road.

As a native to SoR and someone who briefly fought alongside OldRoar in Warhammer Online, I’d like to give a heartfelt thank you to all those who made this T1 victory possible. I have been active in WvW since the week the game launched and I can definitely say it’s been a hard, long road, which is exactly how OldRoar would have wanted it. The fact that this apparently comes on the week of his birthday, something I wasn’t aware of until recently… it’s actually a bit moving. Of all my years competing in online games, this week will definitely be one of a handful of highlights.

BG and JQ, honestly, we couldn’t ask for better opponents. With the minor exception of some of the forum trolls all three servers seem to have, your two communities are incredible. We all have reason to be proud. My hat is off to you all and I look forward to us tossing the T1 crown back and forth for many months to come.

Toward that end I really would like to back up some of the previous posts by Letoll and Polimassa. Let’s cool down on the massive recruitment until we see where the dust settles in T1. One or two week’s score isn’t enough to show a pattern. When more data is in, all three of our communities should endeavor to see that the weakest T1 server gets the help. Stacking a dominant server or pulling possible recruits away from the weaker server hurts us all.

Grats Sanctum of Rall !!! Well deserved win and giant salute to all those guilds and Rallians that stuck to the server for so long. An outstanding environment has been built up here and everyone is always willing to help where/when needed. Take the time to sip some ale and enjoy it!

With that first win out of the way, time to move on and continue to give JQ and BG hell around every corner while remembering to respect and /salute our opponents.

I think personally that is called morale boast rather than hard work. It’s something like in soccer match, the morale of the team heightened so much after scoring a goal and they just want to keep the ball rolling.

Anyway, very nice fights from all 3 servers. BG has become more tactical. JQ has shown their never give up spirit and surprise. SoR finally shown its true colour far beyond anyone expectations. This is what kept WvW alive for so long.

PS: Just don’t burn yourself out, SoR. Slow and steady win the long run

I can only speak for myself but the competition in T1 has gone up a couple notches recently. Mass credit to each server for adjusting and coming up with new strats. Of course the arrow cart issue makes things a bit out of whack but in the open field this tier is jumpin!

I give RISE some credit (maybe where nobody else will). We fought them back on Kaineng a few times and they are much different this time around.

Some very good (see competitive, fun) fights out there during NA west coast hours. Lot of action with BG in SoR BL last night.

For anyone counting JQ out, not sure if you are just wishful thinking or delusional. No doubt guilds who just transferred there to ‘win’ will go by the wayside but the people I know that rolled JQ at launch are die hard RvR that are in it for the long haul. Really no loss if the guilds-on-wheels transfer out as they probably weren’t doing much anyway but riding coat tails. JQ has always been one of the more steady servers so nobody should anticipate (or bet on) a drop from T1 any time soon.

Call it the curse of being on top; nowhere to go but down. BG might need to find that anecdote quickly if they plan to remain there. Not every server can maintain that chemistry needed to remain at or near the top for an extended period.

With all that said, I’ve been wrong before ….

Give WM time to adjust. T1 has evolved so it’s not the same as it was 2-3 months ago.

I realize full we’ll what I type. If you think my entire post was bashing you guys, you sir need some thicker skin. There was not a “splash” of “who cares” about TYSM in my post, that was the entirety of it.

As for the other SoS guilds, they are not mentioned in 2/3 of the thread posts for the last two weeks. If you are leaving, go on and go. I tire of hearing about you.

Just saying, he isn’t really posting anonymously, his name is just left of his post. And yea, thanks for your bags as well, although sometimes my game crashes when I’m picking them up ’cause there are just too many of them. Nevertheless, awesome fights so far this week, even better than last week (did you guys give up after Tuesday/Wednesday?).
