If you are experiencing crashes, revert back to the 32bit client.

Dowload the 32 bit client from your account.
-Rename the file too gw2.exe and place in the gw2 folder
-make a short cut of the file
- add the command -32 in the shortcut.

And play! It solved all my crashes. It seems the 64bit client gives loads of problems too some ppl since the patch.

You can also try to play with the -nosound command. This will dissable the sound system of gw2 and can also solve some crashes ppl are experiencing

Fsp just scared about being bandwagoned. FSP is a tier 1 server that is organised enough to tank every match, so they won’t gain rating.
My advise is that more ppl should join fsp, so they’ll finally be 2nd in the rankings were they belong.

I broke my keyboard trying to get my skills off. Can I please get some compensation.

What you are describing is not a bug with the camera.

Give it up ppl. A dev responded in a other thread (general discussion). I suggest all servers stop upgrading and take a break from wvw for a few weeks..

At least chances are now even, we will see what the result will be.

I know about this. But most ppl dont use multiscreen setups and MOST servers saw this as a exploit and didnt want to use it.

Now anet gave the option to use this “exploit” to everyone, making it even harder to defend against enemies.

you can do this already…. Arrow carts on the ground outside of a tower can clear any siege on walls, possibly even lords room as well.

walk arround the map with the new changes… and see how awefull it is now. It’s really worse then it was

This isn’t derailing into a matchup thread. We had so many topics about trolls placing random siege and stuff in the last couple of YEARS. We even had a CD about it or at least a threat in the past. Now a person OPENLY admits it on the official forum with some lame excuse why he/she did it. Don’t try to get this thread closed by making the false assumption of this becoming a match up thread.

The difference now is, that this person OPENLY admits it on the official forums. I do believe that this time ANET will do the right thing and ban this person for life.

The North American and European data centers are different in one important respect: they are located on different continents. North American players connecting to the NA data center (and European Union players connecting to the EU data center) will generally experience lower latency and a higher likelihood of playing with larger groups of other players, as those in the same data center tend to operate during similar times of the day. So there are real distinctions between the data centers which their EU/NA affiliations make clear and for that reason we will not be removing their continent designations.

We don’t match up worlds from multiple data centers for similar reasons. Ultimately, the server that runs a WvW map must live somewhere in the world and the players who connect from that same continent will have a distinct advantage over those connecting from another continent due to lower latency. In order to keep things as fair as possible to all involved we keep the matchups within each data center.

Of course it is always possible for an EU player to choose to play on an NA server, or vice-versa, but in doing so that player is choosing to take on the burden of additional latency. That situation is vastly different from our matching system placing an entire team at a latency disadvantage without their knowledge or consent.

tl;dr: data centers are on different continents, latency is an issue with inter-continental connections, data center distinctions are here to stay.

The only servers that have a real night crew worth mentioning are Deso and SFR imho.. and I talked about “good” fights but apparently it all depends what ppl define as good fights I guess.

LOL – you guys always blaming one end pipe but not the middle. Also the servers are housed in an office in Dallas, TX – NCSoft’s server farm.

Didn’t know that these ppl were talking about US servers….. but that on the side.

We had MASS disconnects/lag spikes on multiple maps the last few days. These ppl are not talking about 1 or 2 ppl at the same time, but 10-20+ ( sometimes even more ppl ).
I seriously hope that this will stop with when the upcoming patch will go live, otherwise I’ll be taking a break till it is solved. ^^

The good fights will be scares during the night in EU and will mostly consist of pvdoor… If that is what you like, have fun.

Working as intended. I think it’s good that more servers had/have a chance on a “better” reward. It only means that coverage was less important then ppl thought in the beginning. Smart play and using the point distribution is rewarded in this case.

I wonder what brilliant minds decided to give a server with perhaps the biggest populatiokittenlver league free transfers.
I can understand to give free transfers to Vabbi,RoS, BLacktide, WSR etc free transfers but seriously to Gandara?
Well it is only 9 weeks that the other servers and the core people of Gandara will have to endure this, after that comes Gold League except if anet has another brilliant idea to balance wvw.
Maybe they would give Vizunah, SFR and Riverside free transfers to balance gold league.

Good luck this week. I was commanding on gandara borderland and only had 3 good fights. The rest was just a lag infested blobfest where guilds of 25ish ppl are hiding inside a pug group ….

There is a bit of a “them and us” scenario occurring on Gandara. Speaking as someone who moved recently. A common theme seems to be that the PUGS aren’t as skilled etc. There is possibly some truth in that statement however there is also an element of learning how differ enter commanders work for these PUGS.So it’s a bit of a 2 way street that will require some patience. Gandara is a very friendly community however I do sense some tension…Unfortunately that will likely require some management/understanding. The worry is that alienation, fracturing and drama would follow. That would be a pity as Gandara clearly has a strong happy community who would like to keep it that way. As well as the ‘immigrant’ community also wanting to be in a happy strong community where they are contributing. Sending from phone is bad.

It’s a shame that this post is mostly based on assumptions. If ppl want to be part of the community they should visit www.thisisgandara.com and sign up. Most guilds/ppl that took effort of doing that where welcomed.
Personally I think that new ppl need to adapt to gandara and I hope they will. Do I think that this stacking will cause drama? Knowing the core and the community, I don’t think so. If ppl will start drama, it will mostly be the new that just don’t want to adapt or expecting things that won’t happen.
Next match will be the first real match and I really hope that we will get our kittens kicked.
So PS/GH/FSP bring your strongest force and show the new ppl what wvw is all about <3

gandara will be 4th placed…. the queues are hurting our performance big time. Also part of the new ppl that joined don’t match the skill our regular players have.
But then again… wouldn’t mind to come in 4th or even last place.

We are mainly PvErs. We have no intention of disrupting your WvW season or clogging up your Mists queues. But as our new home, we are of course rooting for Gandara to win. I merely posted here in the WvW forum because this is the only thread keeping track of the current server shuffling with the free transfers.

Sorry for my comment, but there is/was a thread that gave you enough info to contact gandara ( trough pm or www.thisisgandara.com). It’s just that at the moment we have a massive influx of guilds/ppl that could easily give us a heads up. So we also could keep track on what is going on.
We don’t mind getting ppl on our server… But would just love those ppl to be part of our community instead of overflowing us. Like Friday stated we have a nice pve community and a strong close wvw community. Those things are important for us because it keeps us in gw2.

And personally I don’t care of winning silver league, because in the long run those shinies mean kitten.

I think it’s good that some ppl that play in the silver league want to keep things as balanced as possible. Also 1 big nightshift guild on any silver league server, will kill the pleasure of many servers. As someone stated, it’s a game… So why don’t we all try to keep it fun for as many ppl possible. We as wvw community have the power to do that, because anet fails every time they try.

So again gandara primetime is full, off peak hours we have room for some guild less/ small guilds.

Contact the persons mentioned in other posts before moving!

And please try to spread out on different servers, so we can keep wvw fun for everyone.

Gandara doesn’t do server drama’s. We will keep kicking and adapt to our situation. If our blobs get to big we will split them up. If the karma farmers start to complain, we will show them the door. Our community is strong and will stay strong.

So top silver get your strongest force and kick us hard, so we can kick back harder.

Fort Rank still has a night crew of about 30-40, difference now is that they get their kitten kicked. They didn’t change much in comparison with last time. I do believe a guild from fr transferred over to gandara ( yesterday?), so they lost some now. I don’t know the total number of guilds that transferred to gandara, but you can easily say that prime is full now. I must admit that a part of those guild are PVE focused. If I make a rough estimate with the info I have, we had at least a influx of about 2k players. What I notice when I’m commanding is that the general skilllvl is lower now. Our core still kicks kitten , but I definitely feel the difference.
Our night crew is stronger, but as mentioned still a bit small. Do we want a larger nightforce ? Personally I don’t but I can’t speak for the rest of the server.

We will see what the season will bring. I’m looking forward to face a good matchup to see the difference.

Sorry to say ,but ms and fr where underpowered before the influx of all the new ppl . Also again prime time is full and if you are planning to come here really reconsider. There are other servers that really can use more ppl . Please consider those servers. As for outside prime. Yes, their is still room there BUT a large part of gandara has no interest of going for gold. So please contact any rep that is mentioned in previous posts before moving to gandara.

I’m glad we moved to Gandara. I made lots of new friends and we always try to have a laugh while playing. The cooperation between guilds and commanders is good and we all try to help new players when they join wvw.

Wonder what the next abuse of mechanics/skills will be… Maybe servers will start abusing the map siege limit by building 100 rams/golems so the other servers can only build catas and trebs to cap stuff, or maybe build 100 balistas/arrow carts so people can’t build any defensive siege or both so the map will be siege locked. We will see when the next abuse will happen .. There is one thing certain, it will happen again (sadly)

Is the signet bugged? Because when U use the signet on a gate, it drops really fast! ( why use any rams/golems when u can use a signet to dps a gate down faster)

I thought underworld was allergic tot golems? And that we only used them to jump off Cliffs and drain our own keep of supplies because of boredom. Ohw and doing suicide runs with them on towers because we can. God I hate golems.
