Is it really that hard to understand that desertions don’t count as losses? If you won 7 games and have 3 desertion games you’re placement games technically aren’t 7-3 but 7-0 it’s like you only had 7 placement games. Obviously it will show you a ‘loss’ but you didn’t lose any placement rating don’t you get it…
Furthermore if ‘Johnny’ a new player gets to pvp the division he belongs to is bronze and nothing else. Do you think a brand new player who doesn’t know anything about the game is supposed to be higher placed lol? Doesn’t matter what his placement games were like…

So since we gonna have backpack-skins which look like capes (http://dulfy.net/wp-content/uploads/2017/08/gw2-banner-of-ancient-elona.jpg) with PoF, are we ready for proper capes yet?

It makes a perfect reward for the monthly automated tournament.
The winner gets a golden trim for their cape
Places 2-8 get silver trims
And places 9-16 get bronze trims

Basically the reason for not having capes are clipping issues. But what if you would just make them look like this ancient elonian banner, which has your guild emblem on it and a trim if you earned it

I really love the idea of adding capes to the game.
Make them look like the banner of ancient elona, if regular capes cause clipping issues. Just add an empty banner which has the representing guild emblem.
This makes a perfect reward for the monthly pvp tournament btw. Winner gets a golden trim 2-8 gets silver and the rest bronze trims

A lot of good ideas and they are actually realistic, even though I think some are a bit too convinient like the auto crafting but I think anet really should consider/add a lot of those ideas.

As the title says shouldn’t we get an option to turn 80 tomes of knowledge into 1 lvl 80 boost? This way we won’t have to click about 160 times to lvl up. Maybe add a vendor who trades 80 tomes of knowledge into the boost

Edit: since a lot of people didn’t get what I meant: I didn’t mean that we should get all the items the lvl 80 boost comes with, only the boost itself should be obtainable this way. I like the idea of getting the option to ‘consume all’ even more than this vendor idea. Just stack up as many tomes as you want to use and you are good to go

Why do the matches have to be streamed though? I’d rather have an ingame option to observe those games like in gw1. Why can’t they just automatically record games and make them observable with a delay so people can’t cheat. Just record every tournament game doesn’t matter if monthly or daily at… then you can watch every game from every POV u want. I appreciate your stream sindrener but it doesn’t really help me as I’m not maining thief. With that you can just go on the class you want to improve on or wanna see gameplay

I don’t get that, how can people expect tournaments to be easy? Why should there be tournaments for different division? Tournaments aren’t supposed to be easy to win… tournaments are competitive and not easy rewards, what’s ur point of having a bronze tournament or winning it? Does that make you feel like a good player? If you want easy rewards or gold go pve kitten .. the point is if you really want to win a tournament you have to get better and practice as a team… I’ve won plenty of tournaments it’s really not a big deal… and btw the seeding is based on qualificationpoints so if you have a lot qps you won’t face good teams in the early rounds

My advice: get a proper comp and practice as a team with scrims and voice communication
That’s how you can improve the best regarding tournaments

Hi so the season has ended and I didn’t get a mail with the Champion’s Rest Pass and the title yet. Meanwhile a friend of mine got the mail already. I checked and I don’t have 10/10 mails any reason why my mail is delayed? Another friend of mine has the same problem, anyone else?

For the new xpac I really hope they could add some vendors who sell armor (elite armor) just like in Gw1
Like expensive armor which requires some gold and requires maybe some achievements or titles in order to be able to purchase them

I was thinking about dunno vabbian armor? There would be a vendor on a crystal desert map most likely the last map which becomes available as vendor when you get a specificity metamap related achievement

To buy it you would need like some gold, some expensive materials and maybe map currency so we actually have some desirable pve armor like in Gw1 obsidian and vabbian armor even had prestige

I just don’t like the fact that we have to buy every outift and armor skin out of the gemshop I find it much cooler if we could buy it for gold instead from a vendor we actually have to unlock… make it as expensive as it would be for tuning gold into gems it’s still more fun to get and doesn’t feel like 2 clicks and I got the new armor hype

Blindfold – either undyeable and in purple like the one in Gw1 or dyeable – but with the exact look of the Gw1 blindfold I don’t like this long rope the heavy blindfolds have and it’s annoying that u cannot dye them in a single color the sign of the blindfold is always visible even when dying it in the same colors furthermore no blindfold for medium armor :/

Destroyer Gauntlets – they are way overdue imo, they should have gotten their way into the gemshop during the fire isles episodes of LW S3 but it’s never too late, they’d be perfect and so popular

Elementalist Vabbian Outift – fits perfect for the expansion since it’s an nightfall skin

Elite Druid Armor (Ranger armor) – I don’t think any other armor skin could fit the desert theme than the elite Druid armor from Gw1 which was showing pretty much skin either as outfit or armor skin for medium

Emissary weapons – you’ve put the staff skin into the game already why not the axe and sword skin as well?

Last but not least a dervish or paragon armor skin – should be add as outift in honor of those classes and for the new expansion, again it superbly fits the theme

Why don’t you just play LoL if you want GW2 to be exactly like that.
Even if most of your suggestions are good the LoL ones are pathetic.
You forgot that gw2 is not a pure pvp game, you cannot expect the system to be like LoL where you don’t even need to create characters and stuff, get over that.
I do like those ideas from Gw1 though

Also it doesn’t give your team any advantage when getting in their base to constantly kill a player since your team remains 4 on the map.
Besides you don’t have to take the fight since when you respawn you are invulnerable long enough to leave the base.

Like give them meta builds and update them everytime you update the build emplates? Right now there is not a big difference to the golems.

To be honest, what kept me playing every single monthly in GW1, was the desire to get a silver trim or to even win a gold trim with my guild. I currently don’t see myself participating more than a few times in GW2 though, regarding those rewards…

Lmao at helset… doesn’t surprise me that the players of the team, which is gonna win every single tournament, when they play, is complaining about the rewards. But tbh the rewards for real aren’t appropriate. I mean you get an exclusive title, 600g and more… this might be enough, but considering what you got in Gw1 by winning the mAT this is kinda disappointing. In Gw1 you got a gold trim for your guildcape, something I would like to see happening in Gw2 too.. something similar which is permanently and not just a title.
Also I agree why would anyone who won the tournament want to play it over and over again, when they have the title already (the actually and probably most prestige thing you can win besides the statues) and you can only get this once.. I don’t think that anyone wants to win because of the gold. Honestly nobody cares about gold. Please add something unique to get by winning the monthly tournament and not just gold… Not saying that you should lower the gold but add something special that everybody desires! I have enough titles that show I am a good player nobody cares about them though… gimme something fancy.
However I do not wanna complain whatsoever since I appreciate this concept a lot but still, I wish you would extent rewards for big deals like that.

I’ll keep it simple:
Please add more armor and weapon skins from GW1 they are awesome.
Specific suggestion:
– Undyeable Blindfold
– Elite- Druid Armor (Ranger)
– Envoy Weapon Set
– Destroyer Gauntlets
– Dread Mask
Also I’d love to see some hairstyles from gw1 to make a comeback in gw2 (the dervish hairstyles were by far the very best, we need a tight ponytail for human female)!

I am playing gw1 since launch back in 2005 and I feel like there were so many armor sets and weapon skins that were so beautiful.
However my suggestion is add more armor sets from gw1 to the gemstore I’d love to get the elite druid armor from ranger for my druid for example.
I btw love how they once in a while put in some gw1 skins in the gemstore you should keep it up like this. Loved the stormbow and chaos gloves. Next I’d love to see the undyeable blindfold from gw1 pls!

There are so many other and more important things to fix.
Besides your ideas are not fitting I mean a resign option sounds terrible and not needed do you know how many comebacks are in this game and how easy you can comeback? You shouldnt be able to give up…

Nah I agree with suffish being able to solo lord is an important thing for comeback strategies.
Doesn’t matter what the purpose is if only distraction or really going for the kill it’s an important factor on this map. If lord isn’t soloable anymore we might as well get rid of him no need for other map mechanics then… this is pvp not pve which means you should not be needed to kill lord with full team.

Can’t really agree this season is so competitive so many high quality matches as never before and on top of that we have fitting rewards nowhere too much or easy to get for pure pvp players like me it’s perfect to make even some gold with pvp. If you don’t get competitive matches that’s not cause of ‘pvp gold farmers’ but because you’re just not good enough to get competitive matches no offense but that’s the reason then. Please stop complaining about to high rewards makes no sense at all…

Omg this is one of the best ideas for pvp recently.
Automated tournaments just like in gw1 and also the option to observe those. That’d be awesome…
Pvp would get as active as never before.
Also it’s a cool way to get known as a team.

Can you kitten stop complaining about the loot in pvp? Pvp was unrewarding as kitten before the patch, those rewards are important for pure pvp players
who cares if pve noobs are playing pvp for loot only? If you are better than them you won’t face them anyway if you are not you are facing them then it’s where you belong to so stop complaining about too good rewards in pvp lol?
For us pure pvp players it’s more difficult to make gold and get ascended equipment so please stop complaining

Tbh how does that bother ppl so much you only get teamed up with ppl who are in your mmr range and if you constantly get teamed up against those pve ‘noobs’ then it is maybe cause you’re just as good as they are

I mean I ofc had some matches with way worse players than me but it’s just at morning ques and it’s not the majority of the matches
