So this is what happened to me.
Yesterday i logged in and got the bag of experience ( 2nd last reward ).
Expecting to get the Chest of loyalty today, but when i logged in that didn’t happen.
What happened was that my log-in reward was reset. And i got the first reward: Bag of mystic coins.

Is this normal?

I’m a casual player+ ( play some more than an normal casual player) and i agree with this post. Temp content can’t sucseed.

Be more like GW1 and make new and old stories replayable ( not the festivals).
And keep festivals like Halloween,Winterdays day, Dragon bash that comes back every year ( or multiple times like Wintersday in July).

Since a few weeks i’ve watched your video’s and i agree with u.
GW2 can do better. temp content is nice but since well the first beta’s i’ve been waiting for some new content. So far we got 1 extra map that only got better last month. I feel the last of perm content and the tengu race/ canthan influence i’m a big fan of both of these ;3

About fractals i found it fun to do, but it became a daily routine and it became less fun when i wanted to play another class i needed to redo all from lvl 1. Still with the fractal update i can join higher lvl but i do not get the same rewards, i run fractals for rings/backpieces which are a pain to get for all my toons

It isn’t the game crashing, it’s Windows crashing – then the game crashes.

Troubleshooting ntdll.dll crashes involves checking the things we all mentioned above. A rootkit/bootkit or virus infection can also cause ntdll to crash.

Intresting but my problem is that i don’t know where the problem is. Can a simple CCleaner run fix these bugs?

Btw, c0000005 error is not a bsod crash, just a regular old gw2 crash that tends to occur when gw2 is trying to compete an action but can’t. I haven’t actually seen the devs acknowledge what exactly that error code means, but it is not a bsod crash. I had that crash after march 26th, the culling update, and only got it in WvW until they released a patch for it about 1week later. You may be experiencing a faulty hard drive or an odd windows bug… It is a fairly unstable os, if you even sneeze at your computer wrong, you can fudge up the windows registry. Typical culprit is bad dll files.

Anyway, gw2 causes it’ fair share of crashes if the stars aren’t aligned perfectly sometimes, but not bsod crashes. Personally, I run gw2 on 3 systems (pc and Mac), and know about 10 others who play with zero issues, so I think those with these crashes, though it seems numerous really aren’t the majority of players. Are you possibly over clocking or something?

I do got a overclocking option on my MSI but i disabled it because i know it’s not good for a pc or laptop.

Using -repair doesn’t work neither does the option GW2 gives after x amount of crashes.
I would love to have an answer how to fix this situation.

So i’ve no idea what your SSC patch means (i can make abbreviation too if you want like TPLM so that you don’t know what i’m talking about, but it will not help to those who try to help) Anyway, maybe whatever patch you are talking about mess around with dll’s then yes you can have problems. But then again it is not the fault of the game. All it does is copy files from one location to an other. If your computer failed to copy a file, then you can have problems. My gw2 game works everyday without problems, so maybe you have a hard disk that is not very stable or something.

SSC as in southsun cove the place of karkas.
So do u suggest that i do a total reinstall of GW2? To get rid of all failed files?

You can also check the BSOD dump files that are created. In there you will see what went wrong. And then you can fix it.
You can find those files in c:\windows\minidumps
If you have trouble reading them, just put them online so we can take a quick look and help you out.

Well i have a clean install of windows 7 64bit MSI gamers laptop with 8 GB DDR3 RAM.
Never had any bluescreen till 1 of the SSC patches.
U say that software can never give a BSOD, but why do some people get a BSOD only after the SSC patch?! Don’t u think it’s strange?I would like to hear your opinion or those of the devs. we alrdy have this bug for like a week w/o any info of the devs or a way to fix this.

As u guys know some people are having random crashes since 1 of the SSC patches.

These are some examples of people who have this bug.
The bug happens when:
A) U log into Guild wars 2 and get to charracter select.
B) When u are in gw2 and map is loaded.
C) Crash before map is loaded.
D) Random crash while playing in gw2 doesn’t matter where.

Out of these crashes sometimes u can still play. ( this doesn’t happen often)
When u get a error message u can trow it into the corner of your screen (if u play windowed) and keep playing still u get a 2nd error.

I play on Windows 7 64bit, 8gb ddr3 RAM. And never got a error since GW2 went out of beta. It hurts my feeling to get these errors. This way i and loads of other people can’t play our most loved game.

I will await for a devs awnser and if u need more info i will try to help.

Having the exact same problem, I can play anywhere from 1 min to 30 mins with no issues, and then BAM the client crashes. Doesn’t matter what I’m doing, from WvW to previewing gear. First time I’ve had client crashes since the 2nd beta release.
I’m running an Nvidia 650 Ti boost with an i5 cpu at 3.2 GHz on 64-bit Windows 7 Ultimate, was working perfectly up until this afternoon, and now the game is barely playable. Tried running some other games to make sure it wasn’t my computer and everything else runs fine. After a bit of testing I found out that GW2 was causing my GPU to run at 79°C (174°F), which is WAY hotter than when running any other program. My guess is that something between the latest nvidia drivers and the latest gw2 patch is causing either a memory leak or just generally too much of a load on the GPU. Hopefully Anet are able to isolate the problem and fix it quickly, I just started to really get into WvW on my server

I think it’s a memory leak this will explain the bluescreens i got after the SSC part 2 patch.

After i posted this i got the same bluescreen. Memory Management Windows 7 Bluescreen.
While GW2 gives memory error?? accidentally did not think so..

You arent the only one. Since the last patch the game has effed up our system so it seems. I sent in a ticket with some crash files and ncsoft adviser files and the tech guy gave us some instructions. My husband followed them and it made our system restart and go blue screen more than once. What the bloody hell?

We did a system restore and I think we just plan on deleting the game and all of the GW2 files and downloading a new client/ file. We cannot risk any more errors. We have artwork back uped if there proceeds to be any more errors, but this issue is very serious.

Please comment when reinstalling will fix this problem. Even the 5/6Juni patch didnt fix this bug for me. Still getting ingame errors

For those of you specifically with the fault module of d3d9.dll it’s possible this is an issue with your DirectX installation.

Edit: I will also note that these crashes only started happening after the set of graphic optimization patches that went in.

Same problem here, When starting the game it crashes the moment u go from launcher to game. If this does not occur the game will crash when u log in. Even when your logged in there is a big chance u will get the same error after playing for a while. Can a dev. please look at this bug? It’s a serious bugged patch.

Only 4 spawned and the 5th 1 is no where to be found.

Gear is not really giving you a big edge in this game. I could buy me a green set without MF for 20 silver and would have the same stats as you with your full exotic MF gear.

The % you lose from going Green instead of Orange with the same stats does not make big of a difference as well.
I personally do not run MF gear because it feels like not performing the best I could, which I dislike.

U lose some stats if u go green instead of exotic.
It might be small but it can make the difference.

ANet after this patch i got the following problems, Can’t invite players after right click on there name in chat.

Guild tags are gone. I saw my summon with no tag [] and my guildy who i was talking to had the same thing. And he saw me with the [] tag to instead of [DC].

I used full MF on all my gear (even back item pre and suffix) and still get crap.

The DR(diminish return) This system was made to stop bots from farming. But now that almost all the bots are gone after Anets nice patch why is this system still here?

I’m having fun to and i have kinda the same problems as u it takes ages finding a group. And if u want to do map completion or just running around in orr is becoming boring not fun, why? well because your alone every player is in high dif. of Fractals. Maps are almost empty, same as other dungeons. Still need 500 CoE tokems Q_Q.

Waaaaaaah sound when using an scepter does not only apply to asurans my female sylvari has the same problem

I hear people complaining about this everytime.
