Yeah where is string. I have that problem too.
I be ripped off of about 40 going trying two times to try gold for gems and than purchase the dance movies package on gem store. I buy gems and try to use it and it disappear when I click to purchase dance movies.
I also purchase 2800 gems for 35 dollars and no gems. What is going on with this gem store tonight?
I fully support and want a Cantha expansion. Why did Anet take this away after beta is beyond me. We want Cantha, it has beautiful areas. I am surprise how beautiful area representing Cantha was in Divinity’s Reach area from pics, surprise they take something out that awesome.
Community wants this expansion!
My suggestions for improvement on Legendary weapons:
Make legendary weapons match the stats they suppose to for weapon. Provide legendary transmute stones or vendor to change stats. If somebody transmuted legendary make it upgrade with next higher stats to match ascended weapon of same stats.
OP, legendary weapons actually scale to the highest weapon stats whenever they come out. The only power legendaries only have power, toughness, and vitality on all of them which makes no sense. Legendaries one you get them are suppose to always be the top weapon in game, but again stats need to change for range weapons.
Hmm sounds interesting I guess. Pets for rangers I can buy that!

If your casual player and don’t do the work, you don’t get it period. Its not supposed to be for everyone. Don’t expect to have something only those who did work to get. And please don’t mention those who purchase on TP, because we all know who has the gold for that!
You don’t need world completion if your not going for legendary. Oh people want to complete everything than do wvw. If your not in wvw than your not into completing game period. To say your someone who like to complete but doesn’t want wvw, LOL!. You get 2 gifts of map completion for legendary, that’s right legendary. If your not going for legendary or not into wvw than don’t complain.
I’ll start by saying that I’m posting on behalf of some friends of mine who joined the game recently, as well as my partner, who started playing in the Beta before we had to take a break from the game for a little while. (I’ve had my map finished for a while, but they deliberately about forum interaction.)
The fact that World Vs World maps are part of map completion combined with how relatively stagnant the current server ranking system has become makes it very difficult for many individuals to complete their world maps.
Back in the early days when match ups basically changed weekly, the rotations were not only more dynamic, but also had a tendency to mix up the color your server would represent. Our server has been stuck as the “red” server for two months and counting (if not more than that,) and certain points of interest and vista on the map have remained very difficult to capture.
Whether this is because the servers we’re up against are too challenging or that we’re not organized enough to take the towers isn’t really what I’m trying to address – I’d rather address the relative ease one used to have in getting to those locations on the map. If it was too rough to get one week, you could wait a week or two for the colors to rotate in your favor. Now the advice other players offer is either “pay some gems to transfer servers” or “buy a commander tag and lead an assault on where you need,” neither of which are easily accessible or desirable for most casual players. (Please don’t tell me that gold is “so easy” to get in this game, either – I’ve heard it, and am also conscious that not every player has the same experience regarding in-game wealth.)
I’d like to see a weekly rotation of colors within tiers, and / or a different scoring system that would allow for more dynamic match ups. The current system encourages server transfers, which I understand is a gem / gold sink, and thus might be intentional, but is not very player-friendly. Hopefully this is in the works, but more importantly I hope these changes are coming soon if they are indeed coming at all.
No not every player buys their legendary stop your complaining. First of all you don’t need your map completion if your not going for legendary so stop making a fuss. Wvw is part of the game and is pve content too. So as long as its not added on anymore it be fine.
Sorry not every has 2500 gold. We actually take time to craft out legendaries. Like I said, you don’t need map completion if your not going for legendary.
No they supposed to upgrade automatically. I guess you don’t have one or know info on them? All the legendaries have power, toughness, and vitality which means they useless for ranger weapons stats. Anet says they suppose to upgrade automatically whenever other higher weapons come into game. But legendaries need more than just pow, tough, and vit.

Fantasy mmos/worlds have use rifles/guns before in game. World of Warcraft for instance has rifles, pistals I believe?
Game is tailored to all aspects of the game. You need world completion for legendary. I totally thing world completion should incluse wvw because its essential aspect of the game (plus its part pve and pvp). Wvw may be a pain for world completion, as long they don’t add more poi, wp or vistas for new wvw maps in updates I be happy. No more wvw areas counting for world map completion.
Right now pve is keep getting new wp and poi for map completion. If someone joins a couple years from now in game, they may never get world completion at that pace.
No adding no more stuff in wvw that’s for sure.
I feel it not working for defeated allies is a bonus. Your pet takes so long to revive someone who’s defeated that you might as well have just gone over there and picked them up yourself. I would always use search and rescue to pick someone up who’s down. I’ve more recently removed it from my skill bar because in any situation where I’d find it handy, it either didn’t work (reviving allies who’re stuck under the Tequatl’s cousin) or I’d have been better off reviving them myself.
Nope skill should be replace now its useless.
Rangers pet can sometimes be one shotted by enemies, no need for nerf. Thanks Anet you really made Search and Rescue unusable as a trait. I will never use it again pointless.
Give us another DPS trait ability for pet or something if we can’t have heal. Again PvP or wvw destroying pve content as always.
But of course Thief gets more buffs to be super powered, Anets favorite profession apparently. Lets not forget heal spirit is useless too which can only raise npcs that die anyway: useless. I guess with all professions having ability to have a healer is false.

My Ranger Draymos Cadiem. He was human raised as young boy by Sylvari parents in Divinity’s Reach. He was raised to love nature and its creatures. He loves raising new pets to help him in his quest to bring peace and order to Tyria.
Anet get rid of “Search and Rescus” trait because you nerfed it completely to be useless. Sorry but pets were lame and can be hit 2 times and die, so why did we need a nerf on search and rescue?
The elite skill spirit is useless and can’t raise fallen allies. So now you make Search and Rescue useless completely. The only good thing about the item was pet rez dead allies or heal when their downed. Rangers already have a useless elite skill not only rezzes npcs and not allies lame. So why nerf a single target rez?
Not like Rangers have unlimited cheat abilities like WvW top profession Thieves. Why do you continue to buff an over powered profession while you continue to nerf a already broken profession like Rangers? Pets are almost useless in Fractals (with defiance or going after npcs when we don’t want them to attack).
Give us another skill to replace it or make it useful again. No need to nerf ability due to WvW. Not like Pet can survive in a battle zerg anyway.
I suggest the following few things to fix possible issues for those like myself who may have transmuted a legendary to make it useful.
1. Provide gem shop for legendary buffs & stat changes to match ascended weapons.
– Individual will purchase this ticket per legendary to upgrade to ascended stats of choice. Suggested price 50 gems – 300 gems.
or
2. Provide a mystic forge recipe to put legendary (kinda like putting twilight & sunrise with other crafting mats to make eternity) to upgrade legendary weapon to ascended stats and put in different formulas for stats updates for instance:
– power, precision & crit
– power, precision and condition damage
– power, vit, cond dmg etc
or
3 Ascended vendor or crafting table
– give weapon and pay maybe 1-2 gold for stat boost to ascended.
– provide choices in stats you want to purchase for legendary
4. Make legendary weapon table in the hall of monuments. Have a legendary altar or something we take weapon to change stats and boost to hightest stats etc
– Again use gold/gems to purchase to HOM key and legendary stat boost etc
Please make it that people who transmuted our legendaries to be able to boost stats to highest weapon stats whether ascended or higher.
Please Arenanet, you only gave power, toughness, and Vitality for legendaries. They are great for Greatswords and sword but range weapons definitely needed precision etc. Please help us have stats we need for legendary.
Thanks for looking into it. Just wanted to put forth suggestions ahead of time to fix possible issues with those like myself who may have transmuted some of their legendaries to match stats needed for profession etc.
Arenanet Should we hold off transmuting legendaries for possible issues with them upgrating to ascended stats when it comes out?
I just want to ask if we transmute to pow, prec, crit on Kudzu from the pow, toughness, vit will it not upgrade to ascended stats when weapons upgrade?
I hold off until we know for sure on legendaries having the ability to always be on par with highest weapons even if you transmute; will transmuted stats upgrade?

Yes I would love to change stats on my legendary longbow and shortbow when I craft it. Can we have legendary transmutation stone or something to change stats to what we want for instances: Power, Precision and Crit which goes well for range weapons like bows. Power, toughness and Vitality are great for greatsword and sword since they are close melee weapons. Range should concentrate on damage more since its not close combat.

To me, legendary skins seem like the End-game for pve, since they take a crap ton of time to get and are meant to make you feel unique(more skins will come, it just will take a little time). However, it isn’t enjoyable or adventurous time. It is dull and uninviting. Many people have simply gone to do wvw or spvp simply because pve isn’t lasting long enough (Not to mention ppl can buy legendary skins, so… what we just through out years of hard work for ppl with a credit card? gimme a break). Many things have been done well, and the road to 80 wasn’t paved in grey lackluster stone, it was full of life and really felt like an adventure. That feeling should stay, by adding things like monthlies or seasonal events (which you Anet does very well imo) and end-game content (skins) that lead to stories to be told and witnessed, not some pathetic tp item you either buy or grind for day after day. I would love to work on a legendary, I actually like several of the skins (dont care for any of hte GS skins, more love for the other weapons ; ; ). But I’m turned away due to the fact that I won’t have any amount of joy working up to them.
Please, you don’t have to release any specifics on this matter or an estimated release date, but atleast tell us you are looking into a new system in aquiring legendaries ArenaNet. Your community has been at your side for years and years before, because they know you can deliver. But this unanswered topic has been biting the legs of many people for a long time and some light at the end of the tunnel would really help (for legendaries). Atleast knowing this is being looked into would be enough. Could be a mini-quest line or a different acheivment system or zone(s) specific items such as off a champion hunt or world event hunt or somethin… anything but this…
they are Legendaries for a reason, not everyone in game will have them. You work for them or you don’t get them. Its not going to be handed to you no. Just like when ascended weapons come out with stats, you have to work to get them. They are endgame and not to be given out free. Stop asking for endgame stuff to be handed free. There are those who actually work for these weapons just like every other MMO out there. There will be items/gear not everyone will have in game. They would not be legendary if everyone person walks in game gets them.

Hello Arenanet. Thanks for the legendaries to have something to work for in game that is unique and cool. The power, toughness and Vitality stats go well with legendary Greatswords and Sword since those are melee and some toughness/survival in close combat is great.
But we need a way to change stats for instance the Longbow and shortbow legendaries. They should have ability to changes stats from power, toughness and vit to Power/precision/critical damage due to range of it and no need for touchness. Please make a way for change without transmutation if possible.
Question for arenanet, if I did change my stats form transmutation would the stats of the transmutation for instance if added power, precision, and +9 crit damage would this increase automatically once Ascended stats increase? I don’t want to transmute stats and find out it won’t up level automatically.
I suggest a legendary weapon/ascended weapon vendor to changes stats that you want like laurels for example with stats you want. For low price of 1-2 gold or something it help you guys out and help us. I just want to make sure to keep legendary status and have ability to upgrade when time came.
The tarnished coast Vendor in Baltazar temple is bugged and not working due to a bugged escort next to it in tarnished coast server. Please eliminate putting other group events next to that vendor after people beat Baltazar, no need for it really.
Stop bugging out a vendor people need for progress. We do need GMs in game to look at stuff like this especially high areas. Orr also has other escorts that were bugged for months not even fix and this bugg is worse yet.
Its just like real life. You going to tell a army oh you cheaters you have more people than us in battle. In WvW, sometimes you have the numbers sometimes you don’t. Its that simple, nothing wrong with zergs, they can be annoying if not in your favor for sure.
It be the dumbest thing ever. If you don’t like commander tags don’t follow its that simple.
Anet there is a real big problem last couple months especially since guesting and better drops for world bosses.
People are coming on our server on TC and lagging all world boss events.
I suggest make a world boss spawn same time on all servers and overflow, so no people can go around system guesting on all servers for all the world bosses per character.
This lag needs to be fix. I never lagged for world bosses first few months and have high end computer just got for this game. So there is something wrong with tarnished coast server right now be overly camped by guesters etc for dragons etc. Please fix it so people don’t lag system too much and don’t put TC people on overflow if guesters are going to get on main to fight our world boss.
Fix that TC get our world bosses over guesters and maybe fix lag issues.

Get rid of guesting now! Please its quite annoying too many goldfarmers or people just camping every freaking dragon on all servers its quite annoying.
Put limits on this garbage mechanic now!!!! That is more than a request if you want people to stay in game.
I never had any lag in this game ever until this kitten guesting that you can’t do abilities or can’t get dragon because I put in in overflow in my own darn server. keep people off my server camping our world bosses period! If they want ot guest to get temple of baltizier fine. World bosses should be off limits quite honestly when there is overlow and too much lag.

I always wondered why it wasn’t set up so that story mode rewarded tokens (to all members) if and only if the dungeon starter had not previously completed it.
This would make it easier to find a group for new players, but experienced players would not be able to consistently take advantage of it (sure they would once per alt, or once if they haven’t previously done it).
It would also make the experienced players a bit more supportive of the new one: if the new one leaves, then the group disbands due to the dungeon owner feature. Knowing this, experienced players who don’t want to be patient with newplayers, would be less likely to join the new player than those who really want to help.
Story modes are currently frequently much more difficult than explorables because average dungeon experience within the group is usually much lower. This makes them a very different experience from explorable dungeons, and not in a starter experience sort of way. Giving rewards to those helping first timers would improve both the starter experience aspect of story mode, as well as increasing the options in terms of dungeons to run for experienced runners who are willing to help out a player who might lack experience.
The system is to keep people from farming storymode over explore. People farm easy not hard things in games for quick loot.
As for rewards maybe laurels reward or something like rare drop matches lvl drop would be nice. But dungeon tokens in storymode ever impleted would need to be 10 tokens or less and one time only deal to keep away farmers from storymode.
Now with guild missions on track, when will guild halls be coming our way?
Will Anet open the doors for guild to have more than 5 man parties for big events in dungeons/wvw instances?
Lets correct this thread misconceptions. The new dailies don’t make you grind for junk. It makes you work for ascended gear/legendaries. So its helps toward end game.
I expect ppl like to have as much agony resist once they go for ascended armor/weapons in higher lvls. If you get all ascended items now without increasing them higher you at least have 30 agony resist. Once you make them higher you can easy add 5 to all of the ascended gear.
Dailies are not for nothing. Just glad no crappy combo finishers which is total waste.
Do hope monthy gives options too and no pushing for things ppl definely wouldn’t choose.
To correct people, alot got their facts wrong.
Legendary weapons will always raise to meet the highest weapons that ppl can get by other means. Now its exotic but soon legendary weapons will match ascended weapon stats.
So legenary armor would probably do the same thing. Never big the highest but match the highest stats. So you gon’t have to grind for legendary weapons/armor if you dont want to. Its not mandatory, so please don’t make it out to be.
You can always just get ascended armor/weapons when they come out.
No they can’t make it too easy for everyone to get right away, its called legendary!!!. Maybe make process of precusor more different way like dungeon drops/quests etc. But no to the rest.
Storymode is stated to be for story only. You want story acheivement you have to do it. Plus it still helps during monthly dungeons too. But explorable should be only for tokens because people would just do story.
Probably they want to make first one hardest again. AC was hardest when game came out now they want it hard again.
Maybe want to be only MMO that makes things harder as it goes.
LOL, so are we going to have dungeons change every 2 months now? Are going to have to deal with new changes in May with all dungeons again? LOL, people who said dungeons were too easy need to wake up. They probably the same who whine about this new change its too hard than week later say its easy like developers said.
Maybe if people play the game without whining about stuff too easy than we won’t be seeing changes every couple months in dungeons.
Hopefully all the whiners about easy dungeons are to them get the hardest time with new mechanics.
I am not a fan of new mechanics, just glad I don’t have to farm tokens here no more.
What if your guild only has one member? Is this going to be achieveable?
I doubt you can be considered a guild with one player. Its called solo play when one player.
WvW jp are the best since they give badges and first time doing them gives siege weapon blueprints and karma canisters.
Favorites:
Twilight, Kudzu and Bolt. I plan to have all 3 with ranger. Once I get map completion with alt, I get bolt for sure.
Least favorite: Sceptor, Mace, pistol. They seem to be out of touch and none legendary if you ask me.
I never received any drops of Globs of essense in 100 + lvl 10 fractals. I guess only certain players have luck with them. I am at 175 fractals now. Luck only goes to certain chracters/players from my experience game gods either gave you luck from start or you never get rare loot ever.
I have been in 175 fractals, I am pretty sure 100 plus in lvl 10 fractals. I only got 4 vials of essense lifetime in lvl 10+ fractals. I never in my life got the globs of essense.
I have Superior Rune of the Ranger on my 6 armor pieces. But for some reason instead of showing 6/6 its showing 12/6 in red.
Is there way to fix this glitch or bug in the runes.
AC path 2 is bugged in last boss fight. The charr npc doesn’t converse with ghost like she supposed to do. Nothing happens. After dying lots of deaths since dungeons been changed and than the boss fight bugs out?
I later do citadel of flame path 1 and it bugs out on boss fight too.

You need to fix AC and CoF.
Legendaries should not be able to be sold. Since I took all the effort to farm the freaking badges (even if you have to do some jp to get enough), 1mill karma, lots of farming for the gifts etc is alot of work.
If people really want them you can get within a few months if you put in the time and effort.
I totally agree with you. Selling legendaries provides for rich people to get legendaries for nothing with no work.
Most normal people have to farm for most part for legendaries.
And yes legendaries should be account bound not just soulbound so all your characters that can use that particular weapon and lvl 80 can use it. Only makes sense with all that hard work.
It will never happen and ruin progression in the game. There always has to be some progression in the game or alot will lose interest. Keep legendaries on weapons only.
Although I would love to find that perfect armor that will always increase but what next?
One day playing the game someone linked few items in map chat and I did check them out: Behold! it made my Norn female character nude and I loved it! and actually it made me play more. I do appreciate the level of detail the company made in that aspect so the question is: Would there be mature servers or ways to confirm your age in order to preview you characters nude? I’m 36 years old and I can’t not lie but the attention to the detail of the characters are very well done!
Are you a child? There is nothing wrong with nudity. But why is there a thread about this is beyond me.
Its a MMO, if your not of age than don’t play it.

Sorry don’t want Eternity. Sunrise and Twilight are better individual GS. Plus the smart move would be get different weapon sets for legendary than getting multiple of the same weapon with just different effects.
Twilght only GS I need. Next legendary will be Bow. Not wasting my effort on two of the same weapon set.
