3: Yep, warriors are a solid choice, and as a Charr you can aim for t3 armour, which looks amazing! Though if you want a pure tank, guardians are better, warriors are better for dps though.

P.S. it now has the purple text everywhere except when you link it, it’s showing exotic colours in the chat bar, though when you hover over it it still shows purple..not sure what’s going on there
Just to let you know, when you transmute a soulbound legendary to a white or blue item, for the purpose of transfering to an alt, then transmute it to an exotic on that alt, it keeps the purple colour, and ofc all effects are still there!
If you really want to farm into lodestones, go set up a group to farm TA, mesmer for TW, guard for staff, and 2 warriors, you can get about 6+ onyx cores an hour, which you can transmute into 3+ lodestones
Well after the price for Colossus was manipulated I had to craft my own. Started with 100 rares 2 days ago, 50 were carrion, 25 were valk, 25 were explorer, got back 4 exotics, no precursor.
Tried again yesterday, bought enough mats for another 100, this time i went with 25 carrions, 25 explorer, 25 knights, 25 valkyrie. Got Colossus on my 4th try, I was doing this on my lvl 65 alt (just incase anyone wondered like i did whether lvl negatively affected it)
Sure, crafted them all myself, and used 1 carrion/exploration/knights/valkyrie. I also put on some magic find gear today and used mf food (though that’s probably just a coincidence).
The cost, think it was like 30-35g yesterday, same today as I did buy enough mats for 100 rares, after giving a bunch of them to my guild i can sell them though^^
Just an update, yesterday I started trying to make Colossus in the mystic forge, 100 rares = 0, today i tried again, after my 4th try i got Colossus!
I now own Juggernaut^^
The sad thing is, when I see a player in full Arah I have more respect for them than I do for someone that has a Legendary, atleast I know they took to the time to do something hard for it. Not sure why people think that making precursors hard to get skill wise is going to make them common, how many people have full Arah armour?
Edit: This is coming from someone in full Arah and with only the precursor missing (have 450g for it, but it’s raised in price 100g over a few days), and I know that whilst i’ve put alot of effort into getting the money for my precursor and other mats, I haven’t had to show any great skill to do it. I know I feel prouder of full Arah than I will of my legendary.
Met a guy who claims to know the person manipulating the market, of course this is hearsay but I have reason to believe him.
Edit: Further proof that it is the result of one guy is that today Colossus has started coming back at 530g and 520g at the same time. Disappointing that someone can be so selfish.
These skills were removed because people in CoF path2 were letting Maggs die at the bomb part and reviving him, then repeating, and everytime he’d get further out of the room.
Eventualy you could revive him, and start without the mobs attacking him.
I’ ‘ve heard people saying that, but the thing is, I could also get dawn, which was worth less even before the price rise on Colossus.
Edit: And I’ m in no way . certain that after the 15% tax is taken into account I’ d have enough.
Though how does it work for GS, do you have a chance to get both equally and as such double the chance of getting A precursor, or not?
The thing is that sometime in the early morning someone bid at 5g above me, and seeing as up until then the bids had been a steady 360-370g, it might have made someone think it was time to raise the price on it (as someone willing to pay 400g wasn’t a freak occurrence).
Ok, so i’m now down to the stage where the last item I need for Juggernaut is the Colossus. Yesterday the sell orders were going for 440g (there were 5) and buy orders for 360g max. So I thought I’d put in an offer of 400g, thought as that was the mid point I’d have more chance of actualy buying one. Now overnight people or a person has bought all of the Colossus (Colossi?) so that only 1 is left at 550g.
Here’s the issue, do you think this is just a coincidence? Seems unlikely to me as it’s been at 440-450g for a while now.
Now, the thing I need advice with is whether to wait with a buy order in at 400g, and hope someone’s will sell me one, which seems unlikely when they see the 150g difference, or to try for one at the MF, I believe I could have aboutn 400 tries if I make rares myself.
P.S. If it is someone manipulating the market, do you think it was brought on by me putting a buy order in for 40g over the current buy order? (which was still under the lowest sell by 40g).
Haven’ t had a problem with this for a while myself, but it’ some thing I see a lot when I make groups, other posters have given good advice on the actual jumping’, but what I found by accident, is that you only need 2 to get across.
Have everyone go to the normal panels, and go to the 2 panels which are next to each other, stand between them evenly and you’ ’ll now be using 2 yourself.
This fix still requires 2 of you to get over, but I hope it helps
When you think about it, Legendarys are the only character bound skins in the game, every other skin can be transmuted onto a white/blue and moved to another character and transmuted back to an exotic with no downside except the money spent moving it. Only Legendarys give you a real downside for doing this (losing the legendary status).

Edit: When i asked about customization of their rigs, they said they’d do it, but it’d be £60 for it, which doesn’t seem worth it to just change 1 or 2 pieces.

@Kobal I’ve never built a PC myself, the most I’ve done is upgrade a graphics card and RAM a couple of years ago when i used a PC instead of a laptop.
I did think about doing it myself, but honestly it seemed safer to pay a bit extra and know it was going to work out of the box, may email them and see if they could give me the reduced RAM though and a couple of other things to lower the price^^.
@SolaNova Thanks, I’ll certainly check those sites out, any recommendations on what i should be looking for? Such as whether it’s worth getting an i7 with a gtx 680 or an i5 with an OC’d 670 would do?

Best to set yourself goals, like earning say 5 lodestones a day, or if you want to buy your precursor first, make sure you put all your money in the bank and make goals for how much you put in each day.
I think the most important thing is to not look at the big picture, take it in small chunks otherwise it can really start to feel like you’ll never get there.
Have to disagree with your statement of Guardians being boring, when you build a bit of toughness with them, and are in melee (or even out of it) you will get boss agro almost constantly, trying to survive that is never boring, frustrating maybe, not boring.
I don’t think this guy did anything dodgy to get it up, if you select legendary tab you’ll see that The Moot can also now be sold, though no one has put one up. Seems like Anet either made a mistake or are going to make all legendarys sellable
And i found a mail from GW2 support team with this message:

And it gave me some items…lvl 5 blue chest/leg armour, dagger,staff and pistol.

I’d just like to point out that you did not have it bad this patch.
You listed Guardian and Engineer as OP classes getting buffs? You missed the fact that Engineer had a 30% damage nerf to grenades, apparently to balance the fact that they can use a sigil…show me a sigil which gives 30% damage buff?
Also, Guardians had a huge nerf to AH build, check the changes with Vigorous precision.
So, just be happy you weren’t nerfed hey?
One of my favourite light sets for Charr is the named exotic gear (lvl 70+)
That mixed with CoF gloves/boots looks pretty good, and if you have the money add in the T3 helm
I was on my mesmer one day, minding my own business when i met an enemy warrior, we both saw each other, yet decided not to attack…Until later, when i met an enemy ranger, who then knocked me off…twice.
Second time the warrior and ranger decided to jump down into the water and kill me…except I managed to kill the ranger, then destroy the warrior, unfortunately I then had problems completing the puzzle as i was distracted with how awesome i am.
My Guard, just finished getting the last piece or Arah armour that i wanted, just love the details on the armour, just can’t decide if i like this dye scheme:
I think you’re confusing the fact that you can find exotics with the same skins as precursors with them having the same skins as legendarys.
Also, very bad idea to transmute it, when ascended weapons are introduced legendary weapons will have their stats boosted to be the same as them, if you transmute now it’ll turn it into an exotic and won’t get its stats boosted down the line.
Does no one else farm HoTW? I mean i find i earn much more than i do farming AC.
You get the chance for t6 mats to drop, much more loot drops, and most importantly you can buy 2 lvl 80 rares per run, this means doing all paths net you a minimum of 6 rares.
Have to second traps, for pve they’re fun, but wvw is where they’re really fun.
They add another element to the game, setting up ambushes etc.
See a dead enemy player? stick some traps on their body and wait for the bait to catch something. Setting them up in narrow places like bridges also gives you a good way to ambush players or set up an escape route for yourself.
So you say GW1 is better in every way, then just complain that GW2 doesn’t use the same skill system?

Actually it could be done, you just need to transmute the armour onto a basic piece and transfer it through the bank, you may need to equip it through the H panel. (it will probably still say soulbound but it should work regardless)
I can’t wait for anet to add the character reconfigure consumables to the gemstore. I plan on going with a longer hairstyle while getting a slight tan once it’s available.
